Early voting begins in GA this Monday ..April 27th...Now, if voters can mark their calendars to make sure they go to vote on the first day of Early Voting, they are just as able...capable.. of marking their calendars to remember to vote on the General Election Day... so, why do we need the expense of 3 weeks of voting?

Online headline and story: “Special Report: The bridges of Muscogee County * Tens of thousands of drivers in the Chattahoochee Valley use dozens of bridges to get from Point A to Point B. * Over time, however, bridges start to lose their structural integrity. * "Bridges are subject to the environment," said Donna Newman, director of the City of Columbus' Engineering Department. *  "Some of the defects are environmental. It gets to a point that some of these bridges, their design was deficient to carry the type of loading that it gets today," said Newman * News Leader 9 sat down with Newman to look over a recent report that lists 25 bridges in Georgia that are both the most traveled and the most structurally deficient. *  Using data collected by the Federal Highway Administration, a group called the American Road and Transportation Builders Association named three structurally deficient bridges in Muscogee County:

1 - A portion of J.R. Allen Parkway, passing over Flat Rock Creek;
2 - The Oglethorpe Bridge near the civic center connecting Columbus to Phenix City;
3 - And a stretch of Buena Vista Road that goes over Bull Creek.

Newman said all three of these bridges were built many years ago. "For instance, on the one bridge, over the river on 280, I know that bridge is over 50 years old," said Newman. * After looking at a history of these bridges, the Oglethorpe (US-280) Bridge was built in 1962, the J.R. Allen bridge, in 1988, and the oldest one, Buena Vista at Bull Creek, was built back in 1924." --  Let me remind you, this story is nearly 10 years old, and Mayoral candidate "I-see-a-nothing" Hugley was THE CITY MANAGER, and nothing was done, nor were alternate routes provided to avoid these 3 "structurally deficient" bridges!!! Another point this raises is why is one bridge in use over 100 years old (Buena Vista @ Bull Creek) and still being used, and yet a major inter-state, The Oglethorpe Bridge, obviously needed longterm for future travel/connecting, was deemed "integrity deficient" after 55 years.. and another, The J.R. Allen Bridge, was built only 29 years before being decided it was "structurally deficient"... so...  why aren't the builders being held responsible!

Listening to portions of the CA Gubernatorial  Debate, I heard Billionaire DemoKrat candidate Tom Steyer defend illegal aliens being allowed to drive Semis... My first thought was the only way Steyer could be a Billionaire was if he started out being a TRILLIONAIRE…. and then retired before he lost it all!

Since DemoKrats want to make coming into our country illegally a non-crime, and arrest illegal aliens only if they commit a major crime once they here, let's put some penalties on American citizens who "aid & abet" illegal aliens in new crimes. Let's make it a federal crime for Americans who issue drivers licences to illegals, ho register them to vote, who allow them to attend our schools, who process medical treatment forms, or even employ them!  Oh, and make a federal crime as well for Mayors and Governors who proclaim their domains are "Sanctuary" cities and states!
