Least NON-Surprise was “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley being endorsed… Hailes defended his choice with a rather strange reasoning statement.. Hailes said, “While negative claims and allegations have circulated, MANY have been refuted or lack substantiation.” You know, “many” doesn’t compare bto “ALL”, and even Hailes can’t draw himself to dismiss a lot of the questions about situations in the City he was responsible for.. but he’d rather have Hugley anyway.. Hey Hailes.. why wasn’t Cogle’s stellar reputation good enough for you? Oh, and you seem quite content with with existing School Board members who have done nothing to improve the reading levels at any grade level.. one has been there for 16 years and nothing has improved.. shame on you, Hailes.. you claim to be “for Columbus” and growth,  but obviously… you’re not..
