Looks like SYNical (or Cynical) Park may be the better new name for Synovus Park! At the last game, the baseball company finally recognized the importance Columbus GA has for traditions   such as "Historic GOLDEN PARK"… It named a Wiffle Ball activity  the “Theo GOLDEN Lot”… Guess they were trying o capitalize on Alan Levi’s great book, “Theo of Golden”… I think the Clingstones struck out on this, too..

Sadly, Columbus GA has lost 2 senior citizens in the past week.. Berry Henry Henderson, Jr, 93, our outgoing Mayor’s father, and George Corradino, 96, one of our music icons… Two good men…both will be missed, but neither forgotten….
