Online story: "The White House may prohibit selfies with President Obama, a top adviser said on Sunday. *
Speaking on CBS' Face The Nation, Dan Pfeiffer said that the president didn't know the photo he took with Red Sox star David Ortiz was part of a Samsung promotion." -- Well, there Judas 00-Barnum goes again... he says he doesn't know anything about anything until he reads it in a newspaper. He's not upset at being "promoted"; actually, he's the biggest self-promoter we have ever had as a politician. What he's upset about is that he didn't think of iot himself and has to share the credit.
---
Online story: " The Obama administration would be willing to work with Congress if lawmakers want to take marijuana off the list of what the federal government considers the most dangerous drugs, Attorney General Eric Holder said Friday." -- Good grief! A hireling telling Congresspersons what he's willing to work with them on> How arrogant. Congress should tell Pric Holder that he WILL work with Congress to uphold the laws already on the books!
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama will sign two new executive orders on equal pay for women Tuesday, Politico reports. The executive actions coincide with "Equal Pay Day" -- the date that symbolizes how far into 2014 women must work to earn the same amount of money men earned last year." -- Hey, wait a minute.. didn't I just report that the White House said it was thinking about prohiting "selfies" for Judas 00-Barnum?
---
L-E headline: "Obama plans orders to boost equal pay for women" -- Huh? Seems like he's already done that with Michelle.. she has her on entourage and separate jet.
---
Online headline: "Final Four ticket sales up 17% from last year" -- Good grief.. This tears Final 4 event arena has 30% more capacity than the GA Dome last year. !
---
Online story: "Perfect games don't get any more perfect than the one tossed by high school pitcher Mike Delio. A junior at Carle Place High School on Long Island, N.Y., Delio struck out all 21 batters he faced during a seven-inning game this week in an unforgettable performance that landed him on ESP." -- And the incredible part of the story hasn't been revealed... it was his first high school "start". Reckon he has his coaches attention now,
---
Online headline: "NCAA president lashes out at players' effort to unionize" -- Good grief.. I reckon so..if players are allowed to unionize, the NCAA president's just, for that matter, the NCAA , will drop off the map.
---
L-E story: "The head of the United Nations scientific panel on climate change has urged governments to "exercise a high level of enlightenment" in order to bridge their differences over how to stave off the worst global warming scenarios." -- Stave off God's work, His plan? Good grief, the UN panel should be on its knees in prayerful praise.
---
Online quote source: "“Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.” - Mark Twain" -- No wonder the school systems ban "Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn". Mark Twain philosophy undermines the agenda of the Democratic Party.
---
Why do businesses buy into those TV cable companies' ad placements? When those ads come blurting on loudly to get my attention, I either "mute" them or change stations, so what's the value of bumping up the volume?
---
If Judas 00-Barnum and Attorney General Pric Holder agree that there was no criminal action in what the IRS did in screening conservative groups nonprofit status rulings, then they should order Lois Lerner to answer the House Committee questions.
---
L-E opinion commentary: "The federal government believed Colby Sue Weathers was a paranoid schizophrenic. It had information that she was delusional and suicidal, unable to work and therefore eligible for Medicaid and disability benefits. * One summer day in 2012, Weathers cashed her government check, bought a .45 caliber pistol from Missouri gun shop, returned home and shot her father dead. * So here's the question: If the federal government considers a person is mentally ill enough to receive financial benefits, why can't it also decide that person is dangerous enough to be banned from buying a gun?" -- Hmmm.. question answered.. because the federal government has privacy laws on sharing medical information! Furthermore, government inefficiency.. government incompetency would prohibit good communication anyway.

Tonight, two teams that would have been ranked in the bottom quadrant (if the NCAA still limited the Championship brackets to 32 teams) are squaring off for the 2014 Championship. The other 2 teams in the semifinals were # 1 & 2 in their brackets, so both Kentucky & UConn had to play well to get to the finals, but let's parse this a bit further. Had the brackets started with only 32 teams, Kentucky would have had to play Arizona in game 1, and UConn would have had to play Villanova. True, KY & UConn could have won, but statistically, one or both teams shouldn't be playing tonight.

This is a "golf thing", so not everyone will remember the feeling most of us had growing up as we slapped wiffle golf balls around our houses, or stood on the 18th imagining our shot, our putt, was to win it all at Augusta. Yesterday, there was more than an imagined dream for 88 9-to-15 year old boys and girls. 88 qualified for the 1st Annual Drive-Chip-Putt competition. 88 kids now know the feeling of walking off the green at Augusta as winners ...something we could only dream about.
---
L-E story: "The David E. Grange Jr. Best Ranger Competition kicks off Friday at Fort Benning. The grueling competition is full of mental and physical challenges for the 50 teams signed up for the three-day even" -- This is a highlight event for our community, but as far as I'm concerned, all the Rangers are "the best"!
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I’m tired of Republicans outsourcing every decent paying job, leaving me to pay for unemployed families while the CEOs make millions, which they hide in offshore tax havens while my taxes soar." -- Spoken like a liberal who's only job is to send in soundoff entries to put his 2 cents in. And, 2 cents is probably all the taxes he/she/it pays.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Lying is done with words and also with silence.” — Adrienne Rich, American poet (1929-2012). -- Good grief.. does that mean Judas 00-Barnum can lie even when he's not talking out of both sides of his mouth?

Online headline/story: "Surprise: Tobacco could eventually lead to new cancer treatment * There is some irony in the fact that a powerful defence mechanism against cancer is found in the flower of a species of ornamental tobacco plant, but this is a welcome discovery, whatever the origin.* Before you pick up that box of Marlboros, know that it's actually a flowering tobacco plant named Nicotania alata * After a series of tests, the scientists have determined that NaD1 can not only fight off plant fungi, but also kill cancer cells. * NaD1 latches onto cancer cells with its pincer-like structure, causing them to form little balloons on the surface until they explode. But, what makes it an ideal cure is that while it attacks affected cells, it leaves healthy ones untouched." -- God provides. Ironically, what man uses in a destructive manner is a choice, but when we listen, we hear God's plan.

HuffPost headline story: "Obama Congratulates Afghanistan On Its 'Historic Elections * Despite high threats of violence, turnout was incredibly high. The Associated Press reported that seven million out of 12 million eligible voters hit the polls * According to the AP report, due to Afghanistan's steep terrain, results will take around six weeks to compile" -- despite high threats of violence...7 million out of 12 million voted (58% of eligible voters)... 6 weeks to compile...The U.S. has spent nearly $90 billion on aid and security training since its 2001 entrance into the country .... Hmmm questions arise: Out of 30 Million populace, how do we know the number (40%) of eligible voters? How do we know already how many voted (58%) yet it will take 6 weeks to compile? Was ACORN there?
---
America compared to Afghanistan: In the 2012 elections, we had 222 Million eligible voters out of 241 million (92%) people of voting age. and 130 million (58%)cast ballots. Interestingly, out of the 130 million votes cast, nearly 2 million didn't cast a vote for "president". What does that mean? To me, it means there was fraud in local elections.
---
Interesting facts found about the 2012 election:
1 - out of 241 Million voting age population, 8.5% were non-citizen.
2 - 7 states had over 10% of their voting age population who were non-citizen
3 - States we think about because they are in the news so much with illegal aliens issues (California -
17.6%, Florida 11.3%, Texas - 13.5%, and Arizone - 10.1%) are joined by New York and New Jersey with 12.6% and Nevada with 13.7%. New York, New Jersey, and especially Nevada surprised me, but this does explain a lot.
---
241 Million people of voting age and 8.5% of those are non-citizen.. that's over 20 Million. That doesn't include any non-citizens under 18 years old. The Democrats have been telling us that we have "only" 11-12 million total. We have a lot bigger problem.
---
In case you're wondering, Illinois has 9% non-citizens of voting age populace, and Hawaii has 8.9% non-citizens of voting age populace, and Washington, DC has 9.5%. Judas 00-Barnum has a large entourage.
---
Letterman announced he's going to "retire". As far as I was concerned, he was just "tired".and I cannot say I watched him at all in this 21st Century.

Online story: "Cash-strapped state and local prisons increasingly are using the Affordable Care Act to pay for their inmates' medical costs, taking advantage of a little-known provision that lets them shift some of those expenses to the federal government. * Ohio, Illinois and Iowa are among the states trying to offload the rising costs of health care – which include mental health programs – by enrolling inmates into a new expanded Medicaid program when they get sick. * But it doesn't stop there. The states also are working to enroll them even before they're released from prison, so they have coverage when they get out." -- Wait a minute! We're getting stuck with the bill twice! We're paying for prisoners OObamaCRAP policies and deductions, so there's no "negotiation" for hospital/doctor services, and paying for coverage for at least a month after these "more-likely-to-get-in-more-violent-activities" prisoners are released. Let's not forget that we taxpayers, not government or jail budgets actually pay for all this.
---
HuffPost "Headlie": "Judge deals the Obama administration a major victory" -- Pure BS! A judge has protected the office of the president and the legislative branch from Constitutional conflict and law suits from activist lawyers and other judges. America benefits..
---
Online quote source: "“Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.”- F. Scott Fitzgerald" -- Or as succinctly said by Yogi Berra, "It ain't over til it's over". Both apply to OObamaCRAP.

The NCAA semi-finals had an audience of over 79,000 people. 69,000 of those people got cheated. basketball arenas should never be built with more than 10,000 or so seats. Once you get past 10,000 seats in an arena, you need binoculars to see what's going on, and basketball moves too quickly for binoculars to be of value to actually see what's going on. Next time you see a game at GA Tech's arena, note what the view is from the aisles around the rear seating. It was built for 10,000 (though I do remember when it was renovated for the Olympics, they squeezed in 11,000 smaller seats).

Watched "Man of Steel" last night. At his "Hollywood height" of 6'1", Superman is short, but in many screen shots with Amy Adams, he didn't look more than a couple of inches taller. Anyway, the movie paled to the original with Christopher Reeves.
---
Also watched "Atlas Shrugged 1 & 2" yesterday afternoon/evening. While it wasn't true to the book, it looked like the Judas 00-Barnum Community Organizer's Handbook for Dummies.
---
If you hadn't guessed, my bride was not home yesterday. She went to Atlanta with our daughters to try on our oldest's bridal gown. I watched golf and movies I don't get the opportunity to see with her.

With a tip from a fellow BCer: You know about the military and FBI, and DOJ/AFT, but did you know that the following divisions of government have their own police forces? The US Department of Education, the Burean of Land Management, the US Department of Interior, the US Postal Service, the National Park Service (with 2 divisions - Park Rangers & Park Police), the US Fish and Wildlife Agency, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (yes, NOAA). It's not just an issue over specialization, it's about duplication of administration executive to run theses forces. It's not just "red tape", it's about political appointments.
---
Soapbox moment: "I'm curious.. does anyone have an idea of how many dollars the racist indoor sun tanning federal excise tax has raised,\; how it's been dispensed, and why no TV legal groups haven't been advertising for recruits for a class action law suit?
---
With all the frauds (entitlement, DOJ, IRS, and voter) going on, you'd think Judas 00-Barnum should appoint a "Fraud Czar". Unfortunately, he has way too many friends around him who are imminently well qualified for the job.
---
Between all the "green energy" loans Judas 00-Barnum gave to political friends that defaulted, and the $10 Billion taxpayers' "ate" from Judas 00-Barnum preserving his GM union buddies jobs, anymore "help" at taxpayer expense should require a national referendum before hand.
---
Online story: "On April 3, 2014, Hillary Clinton spoke at the Women of the World Summit in New York City and was asked what she was most proud of during her tenure as Secretary of State. Clinton could not provide any concrete examples of the accomplishments she holds in high regard. * Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished, so when President Obama asked me to be Secretary of State I agreed,” Clinton responded." -- Hmmm, did some one ever tell her that when you drop that baton, the race is over for your team?
---
Online story: "The State Department misplaced and lost some $6 billion due to the improper filing of contracts during the past six years, mainly during the tenure of former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, according to a newly released Inspector General report. * The report centered on State Department contracts worth “more than $6 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all,” according to the alert." -- Hmmm, sorta like the Whitewater files that finally showed up at her Rose Law Firm situation. One thing for sure, that some of that $6 Billion might have been used to save the lives of 4 Americans in Benghazi.
---
L-E headline: "OFFICERS DOWN * Documents show attracting, keeping police in Columbus a tough task; issue goes back at least 10 years, when officers protested low pay" -- You know, in 2008, Columbus taxpayers voted a 1% Local Option Sales Tax upon ourselves with 70% of that to go specifically to our Public Service departments. This was not to be considered "normal budgeting but for beefing up the normal Public Safety needs. In a bad year, it will bring in about $21 Million and in a real good year, as much as $25 Million for for Public Safety needs. Where is this money going? Has Council reduced the normal Public Safety budget by replacing (rather than supplementing) it with the LOST revenues? We know Council has diverted good money into the questionable usage by the Crime Prevention Committee, but what has happened? The last 5 plus years have had an influx of between $21M and $25M to bolster our Public Safety needs and it's apparently not working as was promised to the taxpayers.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " No sports team wants to have an insulting, demeaning, bigoted name. It’s ridiculous. “Go Snotnosed Twits.” -- Hmmm, sounds like this "soundoffer" is a wee bit wacko.. maybe he/she/it would prefer to be known as a "Flaming Liberal"...which he/she/it probably is..
---
L-E story: " Columbus police are looking for a man who used a fake ID to obtain a car loan valued at more than $9,000 from Kinetic Credit Union.* The man provided proof of residency and information from an employer. * Sometime after opening the account, the man applied for and received a vehicle loan valued at $9,262. * Officials later learned that the man’s address and employment information were false. * The man also submitted a fraudulent bill of sale from Alabama to the credit union. Calls to the suspect have gone unanswered as the police investigation continues." -- "officials learned the man's address and employment information were false"... "calls to the suspect have gone unanswered"? DOH! You know.. a simple check of tax data at the address and a phone call to verify employment would have stopped this fraud dead in its tracks, but I'm going to bet some federal law made doing so illegal. This Democratic Party "equal opportunity" philosophy brought down the housing, mortgage banking, stock market and automobile industry to their knees 6-10 years ago, and will surely do it again if money businesses cannot properly check client info.
---
You know, when the media reports deaths of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, I wish the media would qualify those as that nations' soldiers or whether they were our soldiers. The headlines and stories are somewhat callous without such info.
---
Saturday was opening day of "Market Days"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember last fall when it was announced that Market Days would be going on every Saturday all year long. Personally, I chuckled (and commented) about what a less than smart idea that was.. but .. Anyway, glad to see it back.
---
Have you ever looked at the property holdings of Goodwill Industries? Not only are too many dollars taken out of providing needs to its intended, all those properties are tax exempt so Goodwill gets Public Safety services for free as well.
---
Council will vote on buying 2 new survey units to replace current equipment bought in 2009. Gimme a break.. survey equipment bought in 2009 cannot be obsolete, nor has any land moved locations since then. It's just that Council wants to spend $27,000.00 on a power-ego-trip.
---
I thought it was tacky of the Columbus L-E, division of McClatchy, to publish salaries of other publicly held company officers, but not the L-E's executive staff.

Dueling online headlines: 1 - "North Korea's chilling remarks directed at US" -- Sorta like Duke not swatting Mercer in the first half of the game, and as the game progressed starts thinking it's "the little train that could".
2 - "US has a warning for China" -- Sorta like Goliath facing off with David but Goliath has bought up all the 'stones".

Online headline/story: "ATM Spits Out $37K To Homeless Man * The Maine man was using his own bank card to withdraw cash using the "cash advance" feature. According to WGME, he reportedly made more than 50 withdraws before police intervened. The ATM should have cut him off but apparently didn't because of a code error." -- Wanna take bets it was a government issued EBT ObamaCard... and sorta printed its own money?
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Against Obama Administration In Drone Strike Attacks *
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Obama administration officials over the 2011 drone-strike killings of three U.S. citizens in Yemen, one of them an al-Qaida cleric." -- Liberals get excited for the wrong reasons. The HuffPost chalks this up as a win for Judas 00-Barnum, but in reality, a conservative Bush appointed judge dismissed it because she thinks the defense of the nation should be left to Congress and the executive branch, not judicial activism.
---
HuffPost follow-up story: "A grand jury in San Francisco has indicted a prominent Democratic California state senator on charges of corruption and conspiracy to traffic in firearms, according to court documents released on Friday. * The indictment adds to the troubles facing state Senator Leland Yee, who was arrested and criminally charged along with two dozen others in the same case last week. It details numerous examples of alleged corruption, and says that the onetime candidate for mayor of San Francisco accepted cash from an undercover FBI agent seeking to purchase illegal weapons" -- Yep, can't have rogue politicians trying to compete with "fast&Furious">

HuffPost headline: "Kerry: US Reconsidering Role In Mideast Peace Talks" -- Is this one he was for it before he was against it.. or vice-versa?
---
HuffPost headline: "US Creates 192,000 Jobs In March, Unemployment Rate Holds At 6.7%" -- I'm amazed at how optimistic the mainstream media can be over 192,000 jobs being created in a month, while 315,000 new 1st time unemployed file for benefits in one week.
---
Governing on the fly is a high speed train wreck. OObamaCRAP redefined the work week as 30 hours so businesses responded with the 29 hour week. Judas 00-Barnum raised minimum wages, so businesses stopped mercy and teen hiring. Judas 00-Barnum declares junior management must be paid overtime, so businesses revoked their titles, and shut down opportunity for junior management to work harder to get ahead. Looks like what the 192,000 "created" jobs last month are really 192,000 people taken on to fill the man-hours businesses created when frontline employees were cut to 29 hour jobs, and junior management was cut back to less than 40 hours.
---
Online story: "The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a rule changes in January that would dramatically tighten emissions requirements on new wood-powered heaters, though does not impact ones already in homes. * The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers." -- You know, wood stoves themselves are probably as efficient as they can get, so Judas 00-Barnum must be after God to grow more efficient trees.Hmmm, after basically shutting down the coal industry, sounds like Judas 00-Barnum is going after the forestry business.
---
Online headline: "Missouri gun company to sell 'New York-compliant' AR-15 rifle" -- Good grief.. why can't politicians just make a law that only non-felonious criminal cannot own or use guns rather than continually harass legal gun-owners? Oh... that sorta law has always existed.. just not enforced properly by the courts.
---
CNN story: "Until recently, scientists had only identified six basic human emotions: happy, sad, fearful, angry, surprised and disgusted.* In a new study published this week in the journal PNAS, Aleix Martinez, an associate professor at Ohio State and his colleagues have identified 15 additional "compound emotions." * These compound emotions are all distinguishable from one another, the researchers say. For instance, "happily surprised" is very different from "fearfully surprised" or "happily disgusted." -- Good grief, some junior professor and his "buddies" have parsed the basic emotions into 15 more... well, he ain't so smart.. I thought of another one.. "PO'd" that his/their salaries are paid for by tax dollars!
---
Online story: "President Obama’s brain trust on Afghanistan does not know much the U.S. spends on the war each year or the American cost in lost lives on the battlefield" -- Three of Judas 00-Barnum's "experts" on Afghanistan (James F. Dobbins, State’s special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan; Donald Sampler, assistant to the administrator, U.S. Agency for International Development, which provides civilian foreign aid; and Michael Dumont, deputy assistant secretary of defense for Afghanistan, Pakistan and Central Asia) went before a Congressional committee, and could not/would not even estimate the total annual budget for the war in Afghanistan, nor knew even a ball-park figure on the number of American soldiers killed or wounded in the last 12 months. Not only is this pathetic, it's also prophetic.
---
Online headline: "Sharpton, Uninformed but Ready with Accusations Against NYC Cops" -- You know, if Sharpton were even concerned over the truth (or facts), there would be no Al Sharpton in front of a camera.
---
Online story: "The chairman of the Boulder Faculty Assembly at the University of Colorado said he feels a blog post written by Steven Hayward, the school's first-ever visiting scholar of conservative thought, borders on hate speech." -- You know, the fact that Steven Haywood can be identified as the University of Colorado's "first ever visiting scholar of conservative thought" condemns the agenda and curriculum of the entire University of Colorado. Colorado parents should revolt at what has been allowed to happen at their state's top tax supported educational institute.
---
The movie trailer said, " You've never seen a "Noah" as portrayed by Russell Crowe". I'll buy that... especially since Crowe played a "Noah" that no Bible has ever portrayed.

Received an e-mail from a Las Vegas group of lawyers offering cost free applications for Social Security benefits if you're between the ages of 30-65 and aren't/don't work: "Unable To Work? See If You Qualify

This website is privately owned and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Social Security Administration or any other government agency. Online headline/story: "Legal pot in Colorado hasn't stopped black market * DENVER (AP) — A 25-year-old is shot dead trying to sell marijuana the old-fashioned, illegal way. Two men from Texas set up a warehouse to grow more than they would ever need. And three people buying pot in a grocery store parking lot are robbed at gunpoint" -- Well, as Gomer Pyle might say... Surprise-Surprise-Surprise......NOT! Did Colorado voters believe just legalizing the sale of marijuana would make the street market go away? The truth is, the street market will "grow" as the populace is no longer under state supervision for possessing such. The reason is that buying it at licensed retail outlets has escalated the cost.. taxes, overhead, profit margins and such that have to be recorded and reported will make buyers seek lower cost outlets who aren't paying overhead and taxes.
---
For the Atlanta Archbishop to spend $2.2 Million on a house that can bring close to $4 Million when it's sold sorta flies into the face about what we non-catholics are taught about their oath of poverty. I guess it's all in how you "parse" poverty.
---
Interesting correlation: France has some of the highest tax rates, one of the highest entrepreneurial dispatriation rates, and one of the highest suicide rates. There are no coincidences... nor can Judas 00-Barnum spin this for anything but what it is.
---
Online quote source: "“There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” - Nelson Mandela" -- Hmmm, no wonder Judas 00-Barnum tried so hard to distract the world at Mandela's funeral.. his whole entitlement agenda could have been exposed!
---
You know.. if the NCAA tournament started with only 32 teams, or even only 48 for that matter, there would probably be a contestant or two still in the running for the Buffet Billion Dollar Bracket Bash. Think of what that would have done for the ratings of the Final 4.

The DNC has a petition to sign to send to Paul Ryan about his budget. Not gonna sign it, but I actually agree with the DNC that Ryan needs to "zip it" on his personal agenda which gives the Democrats and mainstream media issue distracting fodder.

Online headline/story: "Moran: Members Can’t Afford to Live Decently in D.C. * Despite what constituents outside of Washington might think, members of Congress are underpaid, a House Legislative Branch appropriator suggested Thursday. * Virginia Democrat James P. Moran said he plans to highlight the injustice by introducing an amendment to the Legislative Branch bill during its full committee markup, and at floor consideration of the bill. Moran made the comments while the bill that funds members’ $174,000 salaries was being marked up in the Legislative Branch subcommittee. * “I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid,” Moran told CQ Roll Call. “I understand that it’s widely felt that they underperform, but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world.” -- Good grief.. James P. Moran, D-VA doesn't even have it half as hard as most Representatives.. he doesn't NEED a second residence in Washington, DC as he's close enough to go home nightly, and doesn't have the expenses ordinary small business owners have such as to buy licenses, pay staff and assistants, pay for haircuts and shoe shines, have traffic ticket immunity, liability . Now, what would be enlightening would be for House and Senate members to have to live under the rules they impose on the rest of us.
---
L-E story: " In the race for Columbus Council District 9, incumbent Judy Thomas touted her experience Friday, while her challenger Felicia Hamilton said it’s time for new blood at a candidates forum on Macon Road." -- Hmmm, time for new blood... I agree.. unfortunately Ms Hamilton is not running against Mimi Woodson, Mayor Obamalinson, or Evelyn Turner Pugh. FTR, Judy Thomas has my full support... all Councilpersons need to adopt her passion and dedication.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I doubt to the extreme that any campus in America has a police department more efficient than CSU. They can patrol my campus any day." -- Sadly, I agree.. never seen or been on a campus anywhere/any time that where the "Campus police" were fully qualified to secure one.
---
Another LIv's L-E "soundoff": " In descending order of intelligence: moron, imbecile, idiot, fundamentalist. Next subject, please." -- Hmmm, musta learned this in public school.. the list has been rewritten, and liberal & Democrat voter were left off the end of the list.
---
L-E story: "NEW DELHI — An Indian court on Friday sentenced to death three men who raped a photojournalist inside an abandoned textile mill last year in Mumbai, India’s biggest city. * A fourth defendant was sentenced to life in prison, prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said. He said he asked for the death sentence under a strict anti-rape law introduced following public outrage over a fatal gang rape in New Delhi in 2012. * The three men were also found guilty last month of raping a call-center operator at the same abandoned mill in July 2013, a month before the attack on the photojournalist. Nikam described the three as habitual offenders." -- For sure, only defendant #4 will have a chance at additional recidivism and if he does, India will know not to let any of the (_*_)s off the next time.
---
It's sad when people turn to the natatorium and Whitewater as reasons to denounce Columbus' inclusion in the "10 Most Miserable Communities". Both venues were built at a cost basis that neither will ever return positive dollars to our economy.
---
L-E story: "Americans thinking about buying health insurance on their own later this year, or maybe switching to a different insurer, are probably out of luck. The policies are going off the market as a little-noticed consequence of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul. * With limited exceptions, insurance companies have stopped selling until next year the sorts of individual plans that used to be available year-round. That locks out many of the young and healthy as well as the sick and injured, even those who can afford to buy without government subsidies. * The health care law allows insurers to keep selling all year. But it also creates the conditions prompting them to stop." -- "little known consequence" of OObamaCRAP? Good grief, the known ones were bad enough, and now this...

Online story: "The Senate Intelligence Committee voted Thursday to release parts of a hotly contested, secret report that harshly criticizes CIA terror interrogations after 9/11, and the White House said it would instruct intelligence officials to cooperate fully" -- "the White House said it would instruct intelligence officials to cooperate fully"? No hock, Sherlock! Judas 00-Barnum has been dying on the vine since he ran out of other things to "blame Bush".
---
Online "headlie": "Hunt For Missing Plane Is The Most Difficult Search 'In Human History'" -- Wrong! Doesn't even come in second place. The search for Judas 00-Barnum's birth certificate and college/travel records is first, and followed by the search for Hillary's Rose Law Firm papers.
---
Online story: "Rahm Emanuel is building a Second City. Two cities really, as the "two summers" theme shown in Episode 4 of "Chicagoland" suggests. One white, one black. One for the rich, one for the poor. One for private schools, one for closed schools" -- Welcome to the Democratic Party Agenda.

L-E headline/story: "Weracoba Creek wall repair to take another month * Earth-Scapes Inc. of Phenix City is the contractor, having submitted the low bid of $656,700 in September." -- Why are "we" contracting this work out to a private company? When a private company can do this for less than the City, something is wrong, very wrong. Common sense says that the City should be able to do this for less simply because there's no need for a profit margin and tax liability built into the cost.

When you think about it, the fact that the gun toting man killed on the CSU campus was shot in the back just proves the man was not trying to stop as ordered, and was armed and dangerous.
---
Can you imagine the reactions of OObamaCRAP sign uppers when they go to a Dr/hospital and are denied treatments because they didn't pay a premium nor have cash/credit card to pay the bill with?
---
The FBI raid on a 91 year old Indiana man's home is incredible! It was not based on any evidence of any crimes being committed, but based on speculation from hearsay evidence.. Shameful!

---Unemployment numbers unexpectedly rose last week. Unexpected to whom? After the Democrats have run around telling, in particular, women they no longer have to work to get insurance so stay at home, so, they did. Time will show how big the lies are.
---
Judas 00-Barnum is shameful. In a speech to a college group, 00-Barnum spent all his energy and vitriol on mocking, even "bullying" Republicans rather than detail any plan he has to offer. The reason is that he has no plan that he wants to bring Republicans to the bargaining table between now and November.
---
Unionize college athletes? Whatta ego trip. When you look at just football, the argument that every player is good enough to get paid falls flat on its face. Less than one-half of 1% of players starting school as freshmen will get drafted by a pro-team. 99.5% get an opportunity to get a free education to prepare themselves for other paths in life
---
Ft Hood just demonstrates that disarming soldiers on base emboldens the few crackpots/terrorists who realize that they can cause havoc/chaos for several minutes before any armed army police can get close enough to confront/challenge them. The rarity of such events should demonstrate that most military personnel are perfectly "OK" with carrying guns on their bodies at all times.
---
Online headline: "Obama says troops' 'sense of safety has been broken' by shooting" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought Judas 00-Barnum was finally owning up to Benghazi.
---
L-E headline: "Alabama running back Tenpenny charged with marijuana possession" -- Wow! Never thought I'd see a tenpenny "nailed" anywhere but Lowes.
---
On April Fool's Day, Judas 00-Barn announced that the 7,000,000th OObamaCRAP signer had signed up, so his "Mission Accomplished' campaign kicked off. Hmmmm, 5 years ago, Judas 00-Barnum announced the recession was over. Did you believe him then? Do you believe him now? Do you believe he was elected and RE-elected?
---
Online headline: "“Rain tax:” Gainesville looking at creating stormwater utility" -- The Gainseville, GA City Council wants to impose a tax based on rain runoff from individuals' and businesses' property surfaces. I hope the property owners band together and corral and contain the rain water, and compete with the City Water Works and put it out of business.
---
L-E headline/story: "GEORGE ‘G.G.’ JOHNSON: 1938-2014 * Columbus native, PGA Tour golfer dies at age 75 * Born in Columbus in 1938, Johnson began his golf career at 15 years old as a caddy at the segregated club, now called Country Club of Columbus." -- What an injustice to "GG" AND the Country Club of Columbus! Just because the writer didn't know of GG's place in history doesn't excuse him from dishonoring him or the Country Club of Columbus... the "triple C" has been so since 1909.
---
From the "something is really wrong here" department - L-E headline/story: "Soldiers will help renovate PAWS Humane's dog play yard * The dogs at PAWS Humane in Columbus are getting a much needed renovated play yard this weekend. * Most of the materials for the play yard have been donated, but PAWS Humane, which relies on donations, is still $200 short of its $550 goal for the project." -- Can't put my finger on it, but this facility cost $7,000,000 not long ago and is now having maintenance trouble and needing $200.00?

When you really analyze the possibilities that the millions of GM vehicles on the road with ignitions that shut off and steering mechanisms that freeze make each of those vehicles a rolling IED for every other car on the road. Just because you do not own one, doesn't protect you from them. Contact your legislators to get GM to call all those vehicles into the repair shops and give the owners a safe car to drive while their's are getting satisfactorily repaired!

Online headline: "Court rules on Sandusky's bid for appeal" -- Thankfully, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court denied his appeal. Hopefully, an appeal to Delaware Judge Jan Jurden, who gave probation to a m(_*_)n who raped his 3 year old daughter, won't volunteer to hear Sandusky's appeal of the PA Supreme Court decision.

---
Discouraging news: Delaware Superior Judge Jan Jurden was APPOINTED for a 12 year term in 2001. Even more discouraging news: Delaware Superior Court Judge Jurden was RE-APPOINTED in 2103 and will be serving until 2024 and she's only 72 now!

---
Online story: "A soldier opened fire Wednesday on fellow service members at the Fort Hood military base, killing three people and wounding 16 before committing suicide at the same post where more than a dozen people were slain in a 2009 attack, authorities said." -- Hmmm ... not quite "deja vu" of when Major Nidal Malik Hasan yelled "Allah Akbar" as he fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others in 2009 and the act of terror was watered down to "workplace violence.. guess this (_*_)'s act of terror will be referred to as 'going POST-al'. At least he save us money by offing himself and won't continue to draw his salary until a conviction.

---
Oh, I forgot to mention (well, not really "forgot" as I was headed out of town, and didn't want to publicize it too much) that as we left Columbus (back today) for a little fun time in Florida, we drove across the Dillingham Street Bridge.. the one that such a ballyhoo was made about draping a fabric art under the bridge as part of the "Art Beat" promotion. Well, it was in shreds and flapping in the wind. If it had been an United States Flag, protocol would have been to take it down and dispose of it with honors. Wonder if it'll still be flapping when we return today?

---
You know, if a person doesn't want to be working in a prisoner public works job, it's within his/her ability to avoid such. Simply rethinking what one is tempted to do illegally will do that.

Online story: "BERLIN (AP) — A new burial area for lesbians only is being inaugurated in a two-century-old cemetery in the German capital this weekend. * A 400-square-meter (-yard) area of the Lutheran Georgen Parochial cemetery, established in 1814 in central Berlin, will be reserved as a graveyard for up to 80 lesbians, Safia association spokeswoman Usah Zachau said Tuesday. * The association, a national group primarily for elderly lesbians, says it expects the burial area to be inaugurated Sunday, as a space "where the lesbian community can live together in the afterlife." -- Good grief! Because of the presentation, there will be lesbian activists heralding this as a wonderful acknowledgement and acceptance of the lesbian lifestyle... but in fact, what has happened is that the people in charge of the cemetery have become segregationists.

---
Online quote source: "“All things are subject to interpretation. Whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.” - Friedrich Nietzsche" -- This totally the mainstream media's ability to usurp the 1st Amendment.

---
HuffPost headline: "Bill Clinton believes in aliens?" -- Well, only if they know how to scam the voter registrars..

---
Online story: "The Washington Post wasn't surprised that Bill dodged Jimmy's questions about wife Hillary possibly running for President. He did strike down the idea of being her running mate, though. * He said, "I don't believe I could do that ... It would undermine the spirit of the Constitution." -- "undermine the SPIRIT of the Constitution"? There were very few Amendments he didn't try to undermine the actual wording when he was in office!

---
Online headline: "Almost 2/3 of the Top 1,000 of the 2012 election donors primarily support Republicans" -- Yeah, I can see that.. and probably half of those were liberals and independents who supported Judas 00-Barnum in 2008.

---
Online story: " The U.S. objected Wednesday to Iran's anticipated selection of a former hostage-taker at the American Embassy in Tehran as its newest ambassador to the United Nations. But the Obama administration stopped short of saying it would refuse him a visa to enter the United States." -- Just confirms that Iran considers Judas 00-Barnum even weaker than Carter, and knows he want draw a line he will cross.

---
Mainstream media and liberal wackos are chomping at the bit to label Hobby Lobby as hypocritical because Hobby Lobby's pension accounts have mutual funds with pharmaceutical companies in it that make birth and anti-birth control pills. Name me a money management company that doesn't have pharmaceutical companies in its portfolios, and I'll show you a failed money management company.

---
With the news of widespread voter fraud of voters voting in two or more states in the same election, Pric Holder will probably drop his assault on photo IDs being required and go for eliminating social security numbers being required to register.

---
L-E headline: "Columbus among most ‘miserable’ places to live * City receives 7th lowest grade in Gallup poll" -- Mainstream media.. especially the Columbus L-E and the Mayor Obamalinson press team, must hate the Internet.. Breakfast Club readers learned of this last week, and some from the L-E must have realized the rest of Columbus was already knowing about this so it finally had to run the story. Interestingly (yet predictable), Mayor Obamalinson's response was to parse "miserable" like Clinton did "is".
---
L-E "headlie": "Army bans ethnic hairstyles * Fort Benning soldiers weigh in on new regulations banning twists, dreadlocks" -- You know, it's not an ethnic nor racial matter.. bans of certain hair stylings are banned for all in the interest of safety for all soldiers.. male, female, black or white or any other color. If there IS a confrontation with someone's preferences, it's cultural, and that should not be an issue to attack military concerns for its members' safety. Naturally, this story was composed by Hasn't Ever Ben Wright.
---
Good grief... according to an ad in the Columbus L-E, men's diapers are covered by MediCare.

It's obvious that the Atlanta Archbishop did not.. or has maybe suffered a oather's remorse moment.. take a vow of poverty oath.

You know, all the apologies GM makes now for not recalling millions of cars are just as hollow as the years of silence preceding them if the CEO of GM doesn't tell current owners to bring their effected vehicles into a dealership, and give them a free rental until the problems are satisfactorily fixed. Until they are repaired properly, those vehicles are moving time bombs.

---
As prophesied, Judas 00-Barnum did come out on April Fool's day proclaiming the 7th million signer-upper was recorded. Now, the real number before was 45 million+ being uninsured, so... why was even 7 million even considered by mainstream media as a level of success for getting everybody enrolled?

---
As predicted... Judas 00-Barnum was out yesterday spouting his OObamaCRAP sign-ups hit the 7,000,000 mark, which means more signed up in March than in the other 5 months combined. April Fools! Wonder if mainstream media will start referring to this event as Judas 00-Barnum's Bush43 "Mission Accomplished" banner moment.

---
Gun safety... why don't liberal Congresspersons and other anti-gun advocates understand that aiming more restrictions at the 2nd Amendment cannot be effective because only people who respect life and the law will live within the parameters of those laws. Restricting law abiding gun owners from easy.. as needed... access to the weapons with which they use to protect their families, homes and themselves just gives an advantage to criminals that are not going to exercise personal restraint and responsibility, regardless of how many laws regulating guns that are in effect.

---
With the massive recalls being made by GM and Chrysler, maybe a class action suit against Judas 00-Barnum is in order. He takes all the credit for "bailing them out", which makes him personally responsible for the travesties that have happened since.

---
With the knowledge of the depth of the scandals in GM, and for not correcting what has been discovered to have caused a number if deaths, shouldn't the SEC being investigating the unions and Judas 00-Barnum on insider trading ?

---
Wonder if there is a pool among the White House Press Corps as to when Judas 00-Barnum will reveal that he didn't know about anything about the GM recall cover ups until he read it in the newspaper?

---
Online story: "Embattled District of Columbia mayor Vincent Gray was defeated in the Democratic primary Tuesday by Councilmember Muriel Bowser. * The primary result in the heavily Democratic city has traditionally decided the race. * a series of guilty pleas in federal court have revealed that top aides to Gray broke the law to help him get elected. Three weeks ago, prosecutors said the mayor knew about an illegal, $668,000 slush fund that aided his get-out-the-vote efforts. * Gray has not been charged and insists he did nothing wrong. His attorney has said he is preparing for a possible indictment." -- "knew about an illegal $668,000 slush fund"? "Gray..insists he did nothing wrong"? "attorney..preparing for POSSIBLE indictment"? Is it any surprise that Washington's, therefore. America's ills are escalating as the Democratic Party culture drags down the morals and morale of our country?
---
Online headline: "NO SMOKING? Pentagon mulls cigarette sale ban on ships, bases" -- Good grief.. Men and women volunteer to give their lives to our country, and Judas 00-Barnum wants to deny some the solace they get form 'lighting up" in times of stress? Ironically, such a law probably doesn't affect smoking marijuana. Hey.. why not just use the now dormant, "don't ask, don't tell" policy?
---
Judas 00-Barnum would do well if he concentrated on protecting our borders with barrier restraints. Fact is, he may need to build them higher to keep the super wealthy from 'escaping' when they find out his future tax plans for them.
---
Online story: "More than 94 million passengers went through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in 2013, a decrease of 1.1% over the previous year, according to Airports Council International's preliminary passenger traffic results for 2013" -- "a decrease"? If you're not growing, you're dying...wonder if Mayor Obamalinson has figured in what continued decreases in Atlanta flights will do for her grandiose idea of a high speed rail system making the Columbus Airport a "feeder/satellite" destination for overflow Atlanta flights?
---
Two more deaths of young black men occurred in Columbus in the past few days. One while hanging about the local college campus with a loaded gun, and another killed in the parking lot of a strip club. The racists will posture about the circumstances, but the breakdown is not racist based.. it's a disintegration of morals and culture that the Jacksons and Sharptons will not let discussions about happen. If there is ever a time that the NAACP needs to step up to the plate and take control of a healing process, it is NOW!
---
You know, if there were simply less crimes committed, the statistics would look better. Unfortunately, the lack of preventative discipline actions that have pervaded our court system do little to discourage recidivism.
---
While GA does have good laws concerning IDs at precinct polling places, there are literally zero constraints on acquiring and using an absentee ballot, and that's where fraud is most likely to occur. Perhaps requiring ballots sent to nursing/group homes should have to be validated by an in-house notary public as to who filled the ballot out and signed it.
---
Blob Beckel, Democratic Party strategist and contributor on Fox, was on his soapbox claiming that, according to 772 scientists, global warming/climate change is a definite threat to our current lives. Beckel tries to make the # 772 sound authoritive and impressive, but the truth is, in America alone, we have over 500,000 scientists. 772 is akin to a flea running up an elephant's leg with sex on its mind.

The lack of success in finding the Malaysia airliner at sea should make the powers-that-be still keep a land based landing in mind.
---
L-E headline: "Health care law meets its goal of 7 million enrollees * BY ROBERT PEAR New York Times News Service" -- Yeah, headline on page A8 of the Columbus Leftist-Enquirer should be a stark wake up call to liberals at how little regard Judas 00-Barnum media supporters have for him or his claims.
---
L-E headline: "Puig hits 410-foot HR in Dodger 3-2 win" -- I really do not care about, actually, I have no clue who Puig is or what position he plays, someone getting a headline for a 410 foot home run. I have memories of Mickey Mantle hitting prodigious 500+ foot home runs, but my favorite memory is one I can turn to at any time and relive. In 1957, my Dad attended a game between Boston and Washington in Griffith Stadium. It's special in that Dad got the program signed by Ted Williams, my baseball hero. At 10 years old, that alone made this a treasure I still cherish today, but there's more. Dad kept the scorebook as did most ardent fans of the day. In the middle of his pen scratches (as he recorded the actions of every play), in the column next to the line scores, he made a personal note about the home run Ted Williams hit that day. He noted, "Williams hit home run over the 438' foot marker. It hit 30' above the fence. That, my friends was a home run that deserved a newspaper headline!
---
Another stupid Republican trick... A house committee is grilling the new CEO of GM.. unfortunately, Judas 00-Barnum saw the GM scandal of recall cover ups, and put a woman in the hot seat. Bet your bottom dollar that mainstream media will pounce on this as another Republican 'war on women" tactic.

HuffPost headline: "Obamacare Enrollment Surging With Last-Minute Sign-Ups" -- Relax... obviously it's April Fool's Day.
---
Talk about providential timing.. OObamaCRAP's web site crashed yesterday so liberals reading the April Fool's Day papers will think it's a prank.
---
HuffPost headline: "On Last Day To Sign Up For Obamacare, Healthcare.gov Goes Down Again" -- Ooops, not an April Fools' Day joke.
---
Online headline: "GM Recalling 1.3 Million More Cars" -- OK, stop laughing.. this is one not a joke.
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Obama To Endorse Candidate In Hawaii's Heated Senate Democratic Primary * President Barack Obama on Monday endorsed Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) over his challenger, Rep. Colleen Hanabusa (D-Hawaii), in the state's competitive Senate Democratic primary * UPDATE: 4:30 p.m. -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) added his name to the list of people endorsing Schatz" -- Whoa.. this probably should have been another April Fools' Day joke, but it's more like a 'war on a woman'!
---
Online horror story: "A Delaware man convicted of raping his three-year-old daughter only faced probation after a state Superior Court judge ruled he "will not fare well" in prison. * In her decision, Judge Jan Jurden suggested Robert H. Richards IV ( is an unemployed heir living off his trust fund - great grandson of du Pont family patriarch Irenee du Pont) would benefit more from treatment * In her sentence, Jurden said he would benefit from participating in a sex offenders rehabilitation program rather than serving prison time. * The light sentence has only became public as the result of a subsequent lawsuit filed by his ex-wife * Delaware Public Defender Brendan J. O'Neill told The News Journal that it was "extremely rare" for an individual to fare well in prison. "Prison is to punish, to segregate the offender from society, and the notion that prison serves people well hasn't proven to be true in most circumstances,"" -- "will not fare well in prison"? "the notion prison serves people well hasn't been proven true in most circumstances"? In the paternal rape of a 3 year old, who really cares! In no particular order, where do we start in being outraged! The fact that a judge and public defender even think that prison will serve a prisoner "well" is a start. The fact that the (_*_) was appointed a "public defender" is another! The fact that the (_*_) wasn't shot on the spot for raping his daughter yet is allowed to walk around in society is still another. Oh, and let's not forget why public outrage hasn't resulted in the judge being recalled and the Public Defender (what an ironic JOKE) being fired and disbarred! Now, on the other hand, in a way I have to agree with the judge/public defender in that prison would not rehab this (_*_)... he should have been taken directly from the courtroom, and hung on the courthouse steps!

Have subscribed to a couple of movie sites that broadcast to TV via Chromecast. Yesterday, I watched the 1956 movie, The Lone Ranger. It was as good, and corny, and refreshing as I remembered it nearly 60 years ago. Justice was served by good men standing their ground. Today, with activist judges, it's not so easy.
---
Baseball season has opened.. you'd think Judas 00-Barnum would have been back in the country to throw out the "first pitch", but he may be a little gun shy, He threw his best pitch at Putin, and Putin hit it into the next country.

Another online horror story happened to a 14 year teacher in Tennessee. "Tennessee teacher Jennifer Mitts says she was forced to resign from her post at Red Bank High School after taking a student to the emergency room and footing the bill. * Mitts reportedly took an ill 20-year-old student, who did not have health insurance, to the emergency room, according to area news station WTVC-TV. Upon learning of her actions, Mitts told the outlet that school officials “dictated to (me) what (I) should write in the resignation letter, including forcing (me) to waive (my) right to a hearing. * the student whom Mitts took to the doctor last year. * “I was the student that she took to the er [emergency room] last year. I had a temp of 105, pneumonia, a kidney infection && a bladder infection. I was also 7 months pregnant. Ms. Mitts saved my baby boys life as well as mine! And she did it out of the kindness of her heart, NOT because I asked * The school response: "However, Stacey Stewart, assistant superintendent of human resources for the district, said that Mitts resigned on her own and that she was never forced to waive her rights, according to local outlet WDEF-TV. She also said that Mitts has been in trouble for similar issues in the past and had been warned not to take students in her car from campus. * "It's a liability issue. It's an issue of insubordination after doing something you were officially warned not to do and doing it again. It's an issue of neglect of duty because the classroom was left unattended. There's several issues," Stewart said." -- I guess we're going to hear that this is another case of a school system's "zero tolerance" policy... Red Bank High has a "zero tolerance" for decency, compassion, common sense, and being human.
---
Remember the other October travesty in Washington..the murder of Miriam Carey? Her family has about $75 MILLION in wrongful death law suits on the books. You'd think mainstream media would keep us informed. Hmm, they won't... so I will.
---
Online story: "The Secret Service says a man has been arrested after he climbed over a fence at the White House. * Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary says the man climbed over the fence around 4 p.m. Sunday and was immediately arrested. The White House briefly went into lockdown after the incident, which is standard procedure." -- "standard procedure"? Then why was Miriam Carey chased down and shot last October? Guess it's just another real example of the Judas 00-Barnum "war on women".
---
Online headline: "Did GM choose profits over safety? -- DOH! That's like asking Judas 00-Barnum if he wants higher taxes or ask for more efficiency ...
---
Online story: "As the deaths are tallied from General Motors’ delayed recall of compact cars, one thing is becoming clear: Of those killed, the majority were young." -- Hmmm guess Judas 00-Barnum's plea for the young to get insured... fast... had other motivations as well.
---
Online story: "Beer brewers are objecting to a proposed federal rule that would make it harder for breweries to sell leftover grains as animal feed instead of throwing them away. * The Food and Drug Administration rule change would mean brewers would have to meet the same standards as livestock and pet-food manufacturers, imposing new sanitary handling procedures, record keeping and other food safety processes on brewers. * Beer makers complain that the new rules, if adopted, would force them to dump millions of tons of "spent grains," which are left over after barley, wheat and other grains are steeped in hot water." -- looks to me like Judas 00-Barnum has been overusing his "pen and phone"... again. Wonder if the FDA is so particular about the oil used to grease the rotating parts on reaper machine that harvest the feedstock from the fields? One good note to the brewers is that they might just have another option for their "spent grains". Fertilizer.. steeped coffee and tea grounds are used as such.
---
Thought generated on the above story: What does Judas 00-Barnum do with his used grounds from his craft brewery in the White House... smoke'm?
---
Online story: "WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Transportation Department issued a rule Monday that will require rearview technology in many new vehicles — an effort to reduce deaths and serious injuries caused by backup accidents. * The final rule issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will require new vehicles under 10,000 pounds (4,535 kilograms) and built on-or-after May 1, 2018 to meet the new rear-visibility standards. The rule includes buses and trucks. Motorcycles and trailers are exempt." -- Good grief.. will someone take Judas 00-Barnum's "pen and phone away"? First, I would never attempt to back-up without turning around to see what person/object could be approaching by destination from the side not within the camera's scope of vision. Secondly.. very few motorcycles and zero (to my knowledge) trailers have reverse gears of any kind?
---
Hmmm... maybe our Council should take a lesson from the MCSD board and appoint the Mayor/City Manager.. The Top 10 Most Content/Most Miserable Cities was released last week, and Columbus made one of them. I'll let you guess, but running-for-re-election Mayor Obamalinson is not going to advertise which one. On second thought.. Better not let Council vote on this.... besides, Council would never get 6 votes on anyone considered.
---
Talk about having a Marie Antoinette "eat-your-cake-and-have-it-too" complex..the national debt clock is climbing faster and higher than ever yet Judas 00-Barnum spinmeisters are claiming he's cut the debt .
---
Dang! I had "donate by Midnight" requests from the DNC, Hank Johnson, and Judas 00-Barnum in my "in box" last night. None of them promised they would go away if I did donate, so I didn't.
---
Another DNC e-mail from earlier in the day said, "We're not even close, Hal". I almost sent a donation because I finally heard something from the Democrats that wasn't a lie. I said "almost"...
---
Online headline/story: "Report: Obama administration released 68,000 convicted criminal aliens last year * In addition, "A Center for Immigration Studies report found that last year ICE reported nearly 722,000 encounters with illegal or criminal immigrants. But ICE officers filed immigration charges against less than 195,000 aliens * According to ICE personnel, the vast gap between the number of encounters reported and the number of aliens put on the path to removal exists because officers are not permitted to file charges against aliens who do not fall into the administration’s narrowly defined criteria for enforcement, regardless of the criminal charges or the circumstances in which the alien was identified" -- We don't need immigration 'reform', we need the DOJ in "reform school"!
---
You know,, I'm not sure what scares me most.. another 2+ years with Harry Reid as the Senate majority leader, or putting Mitch McConnell in charge.
---
Remember when Judas 00-Barnum suggested that our soldiers be responsible for their own healthcare because they volunteered to be in harm's way? Well, now that they've been under the military OObamaCRAP version, they are probably rethinking about that option. Trouble is, if they had done so, and liked it, 00-Barnum would want to take it away.
---
Online story: "The Georgia Supreme Court has disbarred former Georgia Congresswoman Denise Majette, finding she overbilled clients and misled the court about how much she was owed in fees." -- Hmmm, how soon before the rest of the Government lawyers's cases come up for review?
---
Online story: "The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday that Georgia spent about $138 million in overpayments to benefit recipients in 2013 and risks an outside intervention since the program is federally funded. * Georgia Department of Family and Children Services spokeswoman Ashely Fielding says the agency doesn't have enough staff to deal with the number of applications for assistance, which have risen since the economic downturn" -- You know, for a lot less than $138,000,000.00, GA's DFCS could have hired more staff to handle the influx more efficiently. FIRE the ADMINISTRATORS!
---
Online headline: "Once Again, Press Ignores Illinois' Billions in Unpaid Bills in Covering 'Soak the Rich' Proposals" -- To boot, mainstream media does not want to connect-the-dots to Chicagoans Judas 00-Barnum, his former henchman, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, or current Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and the bills they've run up.
---
Online headline: "California Obamacare exchange sent out voter ballots pre-marked as ‘Democratic’ -- To boot, most Americans are registered to vote already, but why should non-American citizens ever get a voter registration form, much less one they can mail back in?
---
You know, while details are being accumulated and digested about the man killed on the CSU campus, lawyers have already been circling the site like vultures. Now, ambulance chasers seem "OK" in comparison.
---
You know.. evolutionists' theory has a fatal flaw.. Which came first.. the Adam or the Eve, and from what did the first one evolve?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The governor of New Jersey has been cleared by a group that was hired by Gov. Christie to check into things, and they found he did nothing wrong. Well, what do you expect for them to say" -- Hmmm, well, you can say the same thing about the group Mayor Obamalinson selected to give her a report on the viability of high speed trains.
---
Those unionized football players are probably already wondering if they will have to pay for their own "jock straps" and are they going to be a tax deduction.
---
L-E story: "Ga. launches online, mobile voter registration" -- Good grief.. Voting should be understood to be a privilege, not something to do while driving. Locally, we have spent MILLIONS.. many MILLIONS re-centralizing our voters' needs to MidTown. Now we find out it's another political waste of money.
---
L-E headline: "ALABAMA FOOTBALL * Nick Saban: Players should have a voice * Saban in favor of players unionizing" -- Hmmm, I reckon so... forget the deep pockets of a prominent football program.. the is would be a head coach's "best dream ever". Imagine, their prime players could be convicted of felonies, and instead of kicking them off the team for disciplinary reasons to please the NCAA, the coaches could now just point a finger at the union's player agent for blocking such action.
---
Online story: " Janet Yellen, the Federal Reserve chairwoman, devoted more than an hour last week talking by telephone with three Chicago area residents struggling to find jobs. * On Monday, she made their stories the centerpiece of the first public speech in her new job, delivering a strong statement about her concern over unemployment, her conviction that the Fed has the power to help, and her determination to do so." -- Results? She should have spent that hour + doing something constructive.
