Columbus (GA) L-E headline/story: "Yellen has "no plans to leave" with goals far from accomplished * After more than 15 years at the Federal Reserve - culminating in her chairmanship that ended in 2018 - (the 75 year old) forecast in June that inflation *(from the American Rescue Plan) would slow in the second half to around 3%, it zoomed to a four-decade high of 7% in December" -- "no plans to leave with goals far from accomplished"? Hmmm it's time for Yellen to retire! The only plan she could possibly complete is collapsing the American economy!

---
After reading a Tim Chitwood article in the L-E, I have a couple of questions to ask.. First.. what has happened at the Columbus L-E.. has it collapsed to the point that it's actually doing pertinent stories again about Columbus , and trying to regain subscribers so it doesn't shit down completely (This article, and one a few days ago by Nick Wooten challenging the legitimacy of an elected official being in charge of a T.A.D. project). My second question was spurred by Toyia Tucker.. She asked for data (Thanks, Toyia!) about the number of shooting deaths by Council District, but the article only had data about shooting homicides. I'd really like to know.. and I believe ALL of Columbus would like to know as well... what was the breakdown of all 70 of 2021's homicides by Council District.

---
Was reading another Columbus L-E article about groups that have organized .. mainly out futility at the rampant homicide rates..... some mentioned are Rasheeda Ali's "Grannies on Guard", Shawna Love's "Boysz 2 men", and Ronzell Buckner's "Turn Around Columbus" .. If I can make a suggestion.. how about all those groups getting together and forming a single group and partner with their Council person, the CPD and MCSO to tackle the issue as one focused group...

---
Though no new homicides this past weekend (that have come to light), Columbus, GA has had a rash of shooting incidences, with and without injuries, that are beginning to rival last year's RECORD amount.

---
JoKKKe Biden tries and tries to deny inflation ... Well . just left Sam's and the M&Ms Peanut Butter I bought 2 months ago for $10.48 are now $13.48. That's a near 29% pop in prices!

---
WRBL-TV3 headline: "MCSD and Columbus City Council moving forward with different redistricting maps" -- One question: "Why?"... Why different district lines? It's confusing to say the least, and costs us taxpayers extra money every election period as ballots have to be printed and distributed and counted differently than if Council and the MCSB used the same district lines.

---
Online headline: "Beijing Olympics sponsor Procter & Gamble silent on Uyghur genocide after calling out US 'systemic racism' * 'Racial inequality is the inescapable reality of America,' P&G declared last year" -- Hey... Procter and Gamble.. sounds like you're in a quandary... you like the environment America was built with, but support the Socialist-Democrats' desire to convert to the government ways of China and Venezuela...

---
Online headline/story: "Tlaib has paid out $170,000 to firm of anti-Israel activist who supports defunding the police * Tlaib's campaign has paid $147,000 to Unbought Power LLC, a political consulting and advocacy firm run by Rasha Mubarak, since March 2020. Tlaib's leadership PAC, Rooted in Community Leadership, which lists Mubarak as a "treasurer," has paid Unbought Power another $23,000 since October 2020, according to Federal Elections Commission (FEC) filings" -- Where are the Ethics and Censure Committees?

 Hmmm... pretty mush self-explanatory:

From the "what planet is she from?" department - Online headline/story: "Chicago Mayor Lightfoot: Carjacking ‘crisis’ is linked to remote learning * Mayor says more than 50 of recent carjacking arrests are juveniles * Data compiled by CBS Chicago shows that there were 603 carjackings in 2019, before that number rose to 1,413 in 2020 and 1,850 last year." -- You know.. I have a feeling that no/low cash bonds and handcuffed police officers that Lightfoot controlled played a lot more a part that "zoom" classes...

Online headline: "Bromance over? Don Lemon slams former CNN bestie Chris Cuomo for breaking ‘journalistic standards’" -- Good grief! If CNN didn't have "double" and "flip=flop" standards, CNN wouldn't have standards any at all!

Online headline: "DeSantis insists narrative of Trump rivalry is 'total bunk': He's 'a friend of mine'" -- And what a Trump-DeSantis 2024 and a DeSantis+1 2028/2032 ticket would do to reverse the damages of JoKKKE and Chuckles!

---
Online headline: "Black history through the years: 10 famous figures in the US" -- Year after year we are exposed to the same names in Black History Month. One Black American who is not not mentioned is Dr. A. Seale Harris (definitely not to be confused with Chuckles Harris). He was from a very accomplished Cedartown, GA family, and basically created the building blocks of diabetes treatments. Maybe the Democrats don't want people to know about him because he wrote a book in 1952 about them..."

Online headline/story: "Supreme Court sides with GOP in Alabama election map case * Alabama lawmakers redrew the state’s congressional districts following the results of the 2020 census. Several groups of voters sued, arguing that the new maps diluted the voting power of Black residents." -- Good grief! If Democrats want Districts based on racial population, all 7 Congressional Districts should be based of a 69% White base and 31% Black,Hispanic, Asian as is the racial demographics of the Census. Even TRYING to create two majority districts intentionally based on race would be in violation of everyone's civil rights.

Online headline/story: "Seattle vows quicker charging decisions to deter petty crime * City Attorney Ann Davison, a Republican who won election in November over progressive former public defender Nicole Thomas-Kennedy, said that her office will make charging decisions on all incoming cases within five business days. * "The best way to interrupt crime happening on the streets today is by quickly and efficiently moving on the cases referred to us by the Seattle Police Department,” Davison said." -- Hmmm.. A Republican DA amidst a liberal Mayor/Council.. Even sadder is that a liberal Mayor/Council is not going to want a Republican DA to be successful...even though Seattle voters rejected the progressive DA candidate...

---
Online story: " New Jersey's Governor Phil Murphy announced plans Monday to lift the statewide mask requirement in schools a month from now because of the rapid easing of COVID-19's omicron surge, calling the move “a huge step back to normalcy for our kids.” -- "a huge step back to normalcy"? ---
Biden said he was looking for new sources of gas for Germany to replace the Russian pipeline. Huh? Resident Biden shut down OUR gasoline industry to appease Bernie and AOC, and his "new sources" have created shortages and 40-to-50% pet gallon increases. Now, if Resident Biden cuts deliveries from our import sources to help Germany, how much higher..if even available.. will Americans have to pay per gallon?

---
Shame of Resident Biden...did you know that Biden buys oil for Russia, too?... and that Biden won't restart oil production or the Keystone EX Pipeline construct to help America?

From the "hypocrisy personified" department - Online headline: "GoFundMe, now nixing Canadian trucker fundraiser, promoted Capitol Hill Occupied Protest appeal" -- And at least 2 were killed in "CHOP", and arson/lootings galore!

I'm not a subscriber/listener of Joe Rogan... I'm also not a subscriber or listener to Howard Stern... nor will I ever be for either.. but after listening to some words they've used, and in the context they've used, Howard Stern uses them intentionally to offend.. he loves his label of "Shock Jock", which is way more offensive to me than Joe Rogan. And, I'm way more offended by "rap" songs built on "in community" offensive ethnic slurs, and promoting crime and assault of law enforcement officers and derision of women.

Online headline/story: "Stacey Abrams receives backlash for posing maskless with room full of young masked children * Mask hypocrisy is practically a status symbol now,' National Review's Rich Lowry tweeted * Abrams visited Glennwood Elementary School outside of Atlanta this past week to kick off the third annual African American read-in, where she met with young students and teachers. The principal, Dr. Holly Brookins, took to Twitter after the visit to post four pictures on her Twitter account of Abrams' visit, which included three pictures of Abrams without a mask, despite the Decatur City Commission reinstating a mandatory masking ordinance last month. " -- Guess she was being truthful and wanted the students and administration to actually see her lying between her teeth.. .. Hmmm...Pictures ARE worth 1,000 words.. even more in this case:

---
Online story: "Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin on Sunday endorsed Republican colleague Lisa Murkowski for reelection, crossing party lines to back the incumbent from Alaska who faces a primary challenger supported by former President Donald Trump." -- Hmmm... This is not really a cross-over endorsement..it's" politician interference" with another state's election...because there's really not a Democrat who can win in Alaska so the DNC probably promised Joe Manchin some "forgiveness" to get Murkowski reelected because she can't win without crossover Dems voting for her..

---
Online headline: "Canada 'Freedom Convoy': Ottawa police arrest 7, threaten charges for others caught bringing fuel to truckers" -- Wow! "WOKE" up folks need to "WAKE UP"! The "WOKE" have been voting like Canadians and are creating a new Canada on this side of the Northern Border.

Reports indicate that over 240 people made a drop-off of over 5,000 ballots for the 2020 election. * John Doe admitted being paid $45,000 to harvest 4,500 ballots in the Atlanta metropolitan area. * Georgia Secretary of State (SOS), Brad Raffensperger acknowledged the reports of ballot harvesting and agreed to an investigation. Raffensperger gave the following statement to the National Desk reporter, Jan Jeffcoat. * “Credible evidence was given to us that people were harvesting ballots. This information was provided to us and they said there’s a witness, a ‘John Doe.’ And so we’re looking at subpoenaing that person to get the information.” * Raffensperger previously refuted any claims of voter fraud from former President Donald Trump and the Republican party." -- you know.. when "fraud" comes to light, it seems that only the tip of the iceberg gets addressed.. The video also shows that Locke was holding a gun at the time." -- Excuse me.. but this is more of a matter of "bad choices" by Amir Locke.. being in the wrong place with the wrong person and holding a gun when a authorized raid was granted by evidence presented to a judge.. I feel for his family, but "bad choices" do result in bad consequences...

She also allegedly failed to disclose past unpaid federal taxes on the mortgage applications, the indictment said. I'm going to inject that most losses are conservatives who realize that the accounts Facebook has banned were the only good reason to be on Facebook...

Why haven't the members of the Congressional Black Caucus been censured? Hey.. once elected, they swear an oath to represent all people's interest in their Districts.. Mark Zuckerberg did not have a very good week... He personally lost $30 BILLION (about 26% of his total net worth), and Facebook/Meta lost $240 Billion for it's investors. Cashe should be the name of a military base in GA. I'm sure SFC Alwyn Cashe was a brave ..honorable.. heroic soldier and worthy of much acclaim, but I also feel that since Ft Benning in a Georgia base named for a Columbus historical figure, that the name change should only consider a Georgia military figure, and Columbus has many to choose from.

From the "history repeats itself.. guess that's why libs want to erase it" department - Online headline/story:
"Whoopi Goldberg’s 1993 recipe, ‘Jewish American Princess Fried Chicken,’ for charity cookbook resurfaces
In 1993, the "Sister Act" star, whose real name is Caryn Johnson, submitted a recipe called "Jewish American Princess Fried Chicken" for a charity cookbook, according to the Daily Mail.
The outlet reported Friday that Goldberg’s recipe entry for the "Cooking in The Litchfield Hills" cookbook featured a step-by-step process for creating the dish with off-color anecdotes in jest (in writer's opinion).
1 - Send chauffeur to your favorite butcher shop for the chicken (save the brown paper bag)," Goldberg's recipe reportedly says. "Have your cook 1) Melt equal parts oil and butter 3/4 deep in skillet over moderate heat."
2) Put flour, seasoned with remaining ingredients, into brown paper bag. 3) Rinse chicken parts and place in bag."
"Then you tightly close top of bag (watch your nails) and shake 10 times.
"Hand bag to Cook, go dress for dinner. While you dress, have Cook preheat oven to 350 degrees and brown chicken slowly in skillet. When evenly browned, have Cook place chicken in dish in oven. Have Cook prepare rest of meal while you touch up your makeup.
"In about half an hour, voila! Dinner is served! You must be exhausted," Goldberg’s recipe concludes.

Hmmm... even 30 years ago, this was Racial Hatred unchecked!

As "peaceful" as January seemed in shootings and homicides here in Columbus, it looks... and sounds like February may catch up all too fast.. looks like we just experienced homicide number 4 for 2022... .. Of course it's number 4! The hospital does not call the coroner to be on hand for a pending second opinion...

---
February is here.. Question for Council: Since Whitewater doesn't collect any sales taxes, how much in user fees did Columbus, GA get.. and how much did Phenix City, AL get for 2021?

2 more questions for Columbus GA Council: 1 - The new 96 gallon trash cans are starting to be delivered in February.. Do citizens need to order one or will they just be "dropped off"? 2 - How do we get rid of our existing.. now obsolete.. trash cans?

---
Wow! Here's another question for Council... In today's electronic atmosphere...why hasn't Council had the City Manager compile an e-mail list of property owners and send out monthly reports on any/all tax, crime, and job openings, and other vital public interest issues (like street/public facility closures for maintenance/events), and why doesn't the Election Office do the same for registered voters.. It would be a quick/easy/low cost way to communicate physical address changes, and 2 year inactive.. (or suddenly active) voting activity so voting lists can be kept up-to-date.

---
Online headline: "ICE deports two illegal immigrants wanted for aggravated homicide in El Salvador * ICE has narrowed its arrest priorities dramatically in the last year" -- Hmmm... "ICE has narrow down it's arrest priorities"? Not exactly... "The Biden administration has dramatically narrowed the priorities for ICE officers, reducing where they can make arrests, stopping mass workforce enforcement operations and limiting enforcement priorities to three categories – recent border crossers, "aggravated felons" and national security threats." You know.. our borders if the WALL was built, and ICE could go to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and arrest the White House "handlers" for "obstruction of justice", violation of their "oath of office", and "aiding and abetting" felonies..

---
Online story: "President Biden said Monday that his administration is committed to improving the border crisis by trying to "figure out" why migrants are leaving their home countries for the U.S. in the first place. " -- Good grief! Venezuela won't even accept back the criminals it's banished to our country, and the Biden Administration openly encouraged illegal aliens as he campaigned, and then has basically guaranteed their passage to the US location of their choice!

---
Looks like the White House "handlers" have realized their attempt to make Resident Biden "look/sound" tough for the World Leaders (and CNN/MSNBC) has been a failure, so the "handlers" are "softening their aggressive rhetoric" about what they feel Putin is thinking. I could have told them that Putin.. like most other World leaders, and the vast majority of Americans... has been thinking "whatta joke Resident JoKKKe Biden is".

---
I'm getting a little more suspect about whether the raid in Syria actually got rid of the ISIS terrorist target Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi... Based the ruthless manner the "terrorist" took out friends and family by blowing up his own house, I do wonder if he left the building, then blew it up to cover up his trail...

---
Online headline/story: " Schumer falsely claims Supreme Court 'was all White men' until 1981, ignoring Thurgood Marshall * Marshall served on the Supreme Court from 1967 until 1991 * Schumer forgot about Marshall, a member of the high court’s liberal wing who served as associate justice from 1967 until his retirement in 1991. He died in 1993 at the age of 84." -- Of course Schumer forgot about Thurgood Marshall.. Schumer;s a Democrat isn't he.. and Democrats always forget what the promise r=to get votes..

---
Online headline: "Pelosi says it’s ‘so sad’ ISIS leader blew up civilians along with himself" -- Hmm ... other than it's questionable if al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi did die in the explosion, it's sadder that every time Queen PeLOUSY open her MOUTH, America's future BLOWS UP!

---
From the "what she says versus what she means" department - Online headline: " Pelosi warns US athletes not to risk 'incurring the anger' of 'ruthless' Chinese government during Olympics" -- Yeah.. Queen PeLOUSY doesn't want Americans hear how about her plans being the same as the Chinese plan of government ...

---
Online headline: "Biden says the answer 'is not to defund the police,' but to invest in law enforcement" -- Good grief! Like Resident Biden is such a good example of upholding and enforcing our laws he swore to protect...

---
Online headline: "CNN president Jeff Zucker resigns after failing to disclose relationship with colleague * The decision came after he was asked about a “consensual relationship with my closest colleague” as part of the investigation into former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo. " -- You know.. CNN lost any credibility it ever had when CNN spokespersons stated they did not know this was going on...Now... what about his partner .. Allison Gollust? Has she resigned? I haven't seen it, but she's as culpable for as she's used her connection to be the previous "next in line" to replace Zucker... but it's even deeper since she worked with Zucker in a previous job, and she also had worked in the NY Governor's office before coming to CNN.

---
Online headline: "Dutch City agrees to dismantle historic bridge to make room for Jeff Bezos' superyacht" -- The next time you hear a liberal rant about conservative White Privilege, remind them of Jeff Bezos having a yacht built in Netherlands that is so big, it can't be moved to the open sea unless a bridge in Rotterdam is dismantled just for him. Uh-uh.. don't even try to say he wasn't aware of the logistics when he contracted to have the 417 foot yacht built...Bezos is the mastermind of Amazon and delivery logistics are what made it successful!

---
From the "but we know better" department - Online headline: "Inflation hits Amazon: Price of Prime memberships going up * Amazon cited increases in wage and transportation costs as the reason behind the move" -- "Inflation"? How about the cost of dismantling and rebuilding a Dutch bridge?

---
Online headline: "Pelosi backs possible union for Capitol Hill staff as workplace horror stories bubble up online * Many Capitol Hill staff feel underpaid, overworked" -- Wait a minute! There's no incentive for Congresspersons to be concerned with the costs of their staff so this is just allowing Congress to pass on it's lack of efficiency directly to the taxpayers! If Congress wants their staff "unionized" (and basically "unfireable" and eligible for pensions at taxpayer expense) let Congresspersons be personally responsible for their staff salaries out of what we taxpayers pay Congresspersons to do!

WRBL-TV3 headline/story: "Nearly 5,000 high school drama students descend on Columbus as ThesCon resumes after a 2021 COVID intermission * COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — After a year off because of COVID-19, the Georgia Thespian Conference is back in Columbus. * And the three-day high school theater gathering — known as ThesCon — is back in full force. * The buses from across the state are lining up in downtown Columbus. And according to the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event brings a direct economic impact of nearly $1 million." -- What a great community effort! Getting back to normalcy!!

Our public education... (well.. the LACK of it might be more accurate)... system IS the reason crime is now so rampant.. Today's youthful criminal force doesn't understand the "Golden Rule" nor meanings of words that could prevent criminal activity. Remember when your child was 2-ish and corporal punishment was necessary to educate them on "consequences"? When your command of "No", "Stop", "Don't", "Put that down!" were met with 'yeah.. right... "? Well, now those "Terrible 2s" have become the "Terrible Teens/Twenties" Once again, I emphasize the need for "CRT" programs that will make a difference... "Constant READING Training" and "Consequences Retrain Thinking".

Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby says a leaked document to European media "confirms" what "we" are saying "publicly"....HUH? Basically, this was not an accidental "leak"... just a ruse to make it seem like what's being said publicly reflects private conversations, but it's certainly not "confirmation" of policy.

---
From the "straight out of the Democrat Political "Wag the Dog" Playbook " department - Online headline/story: "U.S. forces launch raid in Syria, civilians also reported dead * U.S. special forces carried out what the Pentagon said was a successful, large-scale counterterrorism raid in northwestern Syria early Thursday. First responders at the scene reported 13 people had been killed, including six children and four women. * The target of the raid was not immediately clear. * Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said in a brief statement that the mission was a success. “There were no U.S. casualties. " -- Wow! Resident Biden has really lost the MSM support! Usually the "Wag the Dog" military plans divert MSM attention away from other troublesome issues, but it's not going to work this time... Oh.. Hey John Kirby... there's a good reason there were "no U.S. casualties.. 10 of the 13 Syrians killed were unarmed women and children...

---
I don't understand why the US Supreme Court did not put a stop on "House proxy voting" in Congress? Think about it.. If a "proxy" can be sent to "vote", what's gonna stop a Congressperson from just hiring a flunky to sit in his/her seat while the elected person just stays home while texting instructions to the "proxy"

---
Online headline/story: "With one senator absent, Biden and Democrats' agenda at risk *
Without New Mexico Sen. Ben Ray Luján's presence, the party no longer has full day-to-day control of what has been an evenly split Senate, throwing Biden’s potential Supreme Court nomination, big priorities and even routine business into doubt in the face of Republican objections." -- Hmmm... You know... With only 47 Democrats and the two Socialists, Schumer has only 49 votes while the Republicans have 50... seems like the Republicans should be naming the Senate Majority Leader...

---
Online headline: "All that COVID aid included $366 billion for the wealthy: "All that COVID aid included $366 billion for the wealthy * New research by MIT economist David Autor and nine others finds that the Paycheck Protection Program, an $800 billion aid package Congress passed in March 2020, was one of the costliest but least effective Congressional efforts to combat the COVID recession. The PPP was supposed to help workers by keeping their employers afloat. * But the Autor research also found that “the distribution of Paycheck Protection Program loans overwhelmingly accrued to high-income households.” That’s because the money went principally to business owners and shareholders, who tend to be wealthy." -- Hmmm... and wanta guess how many recipients were Democrat donors/voters, and how much of the "promo money" will end up back as Democrat candidate donations until Election Day in November?

---
Online headline: "AOC: 'No mystery' why it's hard to ban lawmaker stock trading" -- Well....no hock Sherlock.. Simply a case "we write our own rules!"

Online headline: "Jerry West destroys Lakers for revoking his lifetime season tickets: ‘No one had the nerve to call me, but that’s how petty they are’" -- Whoa! and this was after Jerry West sold his soul to the NBA... as did Alabama Coach Nick Satan to the NCAA last week with their signing on to browbeat Democrat Sen Joe Manchin. Now we will have to see what the Alabama Football donors strip Coach Satan of...

From the "sounds like being "woke" isn't working in the entertainment field... either" department - Online headline/story: "Joe Rogan critics Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have their history of offenses * The aging artists pulled their music from Spotify in protest of podcast giant Joe Rogan * both Young and Mitchell have their own history of controversy. * During the height of the AIDS epidemic, Neil Young attacked the gay community, suggesting anyone can catch the disease at the grocery store and using a homophobic slur. * "You go to a supermarket and you see a f----t behind the f---in’ cash register, you don’t want him to handle your potatoes," Young said in a 1985 interview * Joni Mitchell has a history of wearing blackface. * Mitchell appeared at a 1976 Halloween party as a "pimp-like character" described as a "svelte black man in a zoot suit with matching chapeau, meticulous afro, wide moustache and big, dark shades." * Mitchell was dressing as her alter ego "Art Nouveau." * In fact, "Nouveau" appeared on the cover of her 1977 album "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter." -- Yep... Times have changes.. MSM is no longer covering up White liberal indiscretions

---
From the "it also looks like "woke" is being redefined altogether" department - Online headline story: "Black Lives Matter exploited the death of George Floyd for profit, Pastor Corey Brooks says * Cancel me, do whatever the heck you want, but I’m always going to state the truth. And the truth today is that Black Lives Matter exploited the death of George Floyd and made millions off what they call the pain of black people. This is simply reprehensible. * I just read the Washington Examiner report that said millions are unaccounted for after all of the original three Black Lives Matter leaders quit. The amount given was $60 million. $60 million. I believe it was far more. If there is no accountability with the BLM board, and if there is such shadiness within the organization over all this money, then you can bet there’s even more money that’s being hid. * What makes me especially mad is that we have had blacks like these who milked black pain for money ever since we came out of slavery. We called them trickster figures. When Booker T. Washington wrote these words over 100 years ago, he was describing BLM:
"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs—partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs." * Let me repeat: "Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances." -- "Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances"? This is an ABSOLUTE TRUTH and the "some" are ALL Democrats!.. It's why Dr Martin Luther was a Republican.... and assassinated!

From the "since now it's "safe", let's all PILE ON!" department - Online headline: "Black Lives Matter 'delinquent' on financial disclosures, risks tax-exempt status, California AG warns" -- Hmmm... Guess Facebook and Apple want their donations back!

From the "no wonder universities are trying to keep conservative opinions off campuses" department - Online headline: "SUNY professor under review for 'reprehensible' video defending pedophilia * The professor says it's 'not obvious to me' that pedophilia is wrong" -- I'm cutting short some of the most egregious comments of SUNY Fredonia philosophy professor Stephen Kershnar but you can read/hear/see them at this link -

https://www.foxnews.com/us/suny-professor-under-review-for-reprehensible-video-defending-pedophilia

My only question is, "Why is this monster "under review" versus being 6' under ground?

Online headline/story: "Winter Olympics: Team USA selects flag bearers for opening ceremonies * Olympic bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor and curler John Shuster were named the flag bearers for Team USA. However, Meyers Taylor will be unable to attend Friday's opening ceremonies because she tested positive for COVID-19. Speed skater Brittany Bowe will replace her" -- "Curling"? Is that a sport or a salon option?

---
Hmmm...CNN chief Zucker has tendered his resignation. You know, I think I'll take a new look at AT&T as an investment since it looks like AT&T will try to turn CNN into a profit center since it hasn't been able to unload it since buying Time-Warner.

---
Let's pray: Surely.. in the Democrat Primary, some candidate in District 14 not only supports the NYPD and attended the two recent funerals of the Police Officers ambushed on a "domestics" call, and surely the Democrat base of the Bronx and Queens will hold it against AOC for not being there at those funerals.

---
Online headline: "Biden aims to reduce cancer deaths by 50% over next 25 years" -- Good grief! JoKKKe Biden campaigned that he HAD THE CURE for cancer yet wouldn't share it unless he won.. now he's claiming someone will have to 25 year to educe cancer deaths by 50%... Is there any subject we can trust what Resident Biden claims?

---
Online headline: "The Wall Street Journal: China Fortifies Its Borders With a ‘Southern Great Wall,’ Citing Covid-19." -- It even looks like a partial knock-off of Trump's wall but with barbed wire, surveillance cameras and sensors... Hmmm... Maybe JoKKKe and Hunter Biden sold Xi the plans....

-----------------
From the "talk about painting one's-self in a corner" department --- Good grief.. Jeff Bezos had a $480 Million dollar yacht built in the Netherlands and it's so big, he can't get it to the open sea because a bridge in the route isn't high or wide enough for the "boat" to get through...so...he's asked that the middle of the bridge be dismantled for him.. I'm sure he can afford it, but it really exposes how shallow he is about any lesser donations he makes for "humanitarian" reasons...

“It's been a really long journey for me, embracing my gender,” LeDuc said. “I've had some amazing people in my life help me through that journey." -- What actually is a "nonbinary" person? Dictionary.Com defines it as: "Nonbinary people have a gender identity that does not fit into the male/female binary." -- Hmmm... and transgenders and Democrats thought they had trouble deciding on a bathroom to use...

---
Online headline: "OPEC, allies agree to pump more oil amid supply concerns * Oil prices have surged in recent months to the highest levels in about seven years" -- Good grief! Of course OPEC wants to pump more oil... now that prices have hot $100.00 a barrel! Now.. the real question is "Why doesn't Resident Biden want to open up the oil production he shut down "on day one" which have put OPEC back in charge of our country's independence?

"Milltown Mel" will not see his shadow today... he passed a couple of days ago without an heir. New Jersey wasn't going to see it's future anyway until the Mid-term elections....On the other hand, I bet if you checked the voting records, "Mel" voted for he Republican candidate for governor for the first time, and the DNC wasn't going to give Mel any spotlight today!

Wow! Columbus, GA "escaped" with a single Coroner-"approved" homicide in January, a 71-year old grandmother caught in a crossfire, but yesterday, a 3-year old boy was shot and killed. While Columbus is definitely off to a quieter start than last year when we had a record 70 "countable homicides", losing a 71 year old grandmother and a 3 year old child is a stark reminder all-is-not-well....

---
It's all very well that "Willie Demps pled guilty to his embezzlement charges and is going to payback $1,000.000-plus to the local government and $350,000 to IRS, but two big questions still remaining unasked/unanswered.. There was MORE than $5,000,000.00 missing from the accounts Demps was in charge of, and where's the $350,000.00 to pay IRS coming from?

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "6-year-old recovering after hit by mail truck in Columbus * is now recovering at home after being transferred to an Atlanta hospital where he received treatment for his injuries." -- Really glad the child is back home, but it sounds like the attorney' eyeballs are rolling over like a slot machine reel... and while I know a 6 year old child doesn't understand the dangers of riding or standing behind a vehicle, but his mother should have....and while even a mother cannot always have her eyes on her child, was she outside with him while he rode his bike?

Wow... The NYTimes is suing to get Hunter Biden's e-mails from the State Department! The ones exchanged about deals in Ukraine, China, and Rumania that in 2020 the NYTimes didn't feel were relevant. What a difference now that the NYTimes has seen the Progressive agenda in action affecting the NYTimes bottom line.

Wow! $60-MILLION... that's right SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS is missing from the BLM Foundation coffers. $60,000,000.00 has just gone poof... Interviews with Minnesota official and leaders say none..zip..zilch..nada of that money has reached them as promised. And, of course we've heard about the BLM founder Buying Large Mansions (B.L.M. 2), about untold $MILLION$ being socked away in a Canadian Foundation which doesn't have to reveal it's donations, contributions, or current financial condition. Wonder if the "woke" corporations which donated to BLM might ask BLM before ever donating more money to them?

Alex Halderman and was filed last summer under seal in a federal court case that alleges hackers had “the capability” and “easy access” to voting machines in Georgia, according to the Epoch Times. * Little has been released in public about the report though the Atlanta Constitution-Journal has reported it found hackers could change votes if they penetrated the machines…" -- My first question is, "Why was the report sealed?"... Now this housing development is in disarray. The vast majority of the recently constructed homes are riddled with construction-related problems that have led to mold, termites, rotting wood, flooding and other woes. * At least six are boarded up and abandoned. Many residents have filed lawsuits that are still pending. That is, a nonprofit that built houses with input from Frank Gehry and other prominent architects amid much fanfare for survivors of one disaster then ushered in another disaster. * Structural and other problems are making many residents fear for their health. Make It Right, despite what its name might suggest, has not resolved these issues and has stopped assisting residents. Instead, the movie star-led nonprofit has apparently become defunct. * Make It Right reported spending $26.8 million on the housing. To make the homes, which fell short of the group's original goal of 150 residences, affordable, they were sold for less than it cost to build them, mostly around $150,000." -- Hmmm... sorta sounds like the blue print for a recently thrown together LOCAL Columbus, GA project.. this is a vision of what we can expect in 10-15 years with bottom tier building materials..

Raskin, a former Fed governor and senior Treasury Department official who is strongly backed by progressive Democrats, has become a lightning rod for criticism from business groups and fiscal conservatives for her views on climate change." -- Wow! She's married to the embittered impeachment manager, and is supported by AOC and the Progressives ..sounds like a "match made in HELL for America's future...

Online headline: "'The View' host Whoopi Goldberg claims Holocaust wasn’t about race: ‘These are two White groups’" -- You know, if Whoopi uses her "same race/no foul logic" as an analogy, then, in a sense, she's yawning off slavery since African tribal leaders sold/traded captured Black warriors/women/children captured in tribal battles/raids.

Well... The Super Bowl will have teams with SEC quarterbacks squaring off (GA vs LSU) ...I must admit if it weren't the policies of the NFL, I might have interest in watching the game this year. The key word is "might", but don't bet on it.

Online headline/story: "Top US diplomat in Ukraine performing several balancing acts at once * Kristina Kvien has a lot on her hands. She’s the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, or chargé d'affaires. She’s been staying on top of the crisis created by Russia deploying some 130,000 troops near the country. That carries with it the implicit threat of invasion if Moscow doesn’t get its way. * She also has to straddle a fine line with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. He’s been saying that the U.S. is exaggerating the risk of a Russian invasion" -- Ah! Now we know what's going on...With Zelenskky's observations about how much more Biden is concerned about the Russian invasion, Zelenskyy probably has figured out that Resident Biden wants to promote this a more chaotic than it is so if Putin doesn't invade, Biden can claim credit for his tough stance...say.. sometime a couple of weeks before the mid-term elections?

Online headline: 'At Texas rally, Donald Trump Jr. says 'male kindergarten teachers' can take paternity leave but slams Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for doing the same" -- Hmmm.. what's really going on here is MSM and the Democrats wanting to downplay the issue that Pete Buttigieg is not actually ELIGIBLE for paternity leave because he had not fulfilled the requirement of being a federal worker for 1 year or more.
