Online story of Obama speech at Loyola University in 1998: "“The trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and hence facilitate some [wealth] redistribution -- because I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level to make sure that everybody’s got a shot.” -- "I believe... (repeat - I believe) in redistribution." King Arpege is no "Robin Hood', he's just a Chicago hood with taxing authority.

I hate that Romney defenders are using terms like "inelegant choice of words", and "obviously inarticulate". Romney is just some one we've needed in politics for a long time; some one who denounces political correctness in favor of straight talk and the truth. Romeny has a good right punch which is exactly what our foreign and domestic policies need.

From the 'you gotta be kidding me' department:

Indefinite Detention

The are Pakistani protesters 'protesting' Guantanamo on the 10th anniversary of 911 in 2011. Why would Pakistani protesters be holding uo signs in English except as a photo op for US libereals?

WTVM9 news story: "MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The U.S. Department of Education is awarding millions in grants to historically black colleges in Alabama. * The 5-year grants will affect curriculum and teaching programs, campus building improvements and the purchase of scientific equipment. * The department said the Alabama grants include nearly $4 million for Alabama State University, $3.2 million to Alabama A&M University, nearly $3 million to Lawson State Community College, and $2.3 million for Tuskegee University. Miles College is getting $2 million, Stillman College $1.7 million, and Oakwood College nearly $1.6 million." -- Historically white colleges of the past have been eliminated so everyone has the same opportunity; why do we still have colleges referred to as historically black colleges still in existence as such, and why is the 'givermint' rewarding poor management in the education department?

---

Online story: " WASHINGTON -- Vice President Joe Biden said Monday that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is so out of touch with regular Americans that he thinks the middle class extends to people making up to $250,000. * But Biden apparently forgot that that's the same benchmark that President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats regularly use when talking about extending the Bush-era tax cuts for the middle class." -- The mainstream media is not use to a DIM&DUMBERat confirming how out of touch he and his party and boss really are, either.
---
Chuck Williams made every argument he could for justifying his disobedience of bicycling laws, but failed to compare them to motorcycle riders. Motorcycle riders are even less visible to cars backing out of angle parking spots, but you don't hear them moaning about not being able to ride on sidewalks. Bet you'd hear Chuck complaining, though, if he heard one roaring up behind him.
---
Mainstream media wants to create havoc over an illegal recording of an open discussion, yet almost ignored a covert open mike slip of King Arpege telling a Russian to tell Putin he would be more flexible after the November election.

From a fellow BCer:

Do you think this might accurately describe our country's situation?

---

The lack of interest in the dog & pony show forums aimed at gathering imput from citizens proves two things: 1, that citizens correctly feel the school board is not going to listen anyway, and 2, that the school board should just do its job and decide on a great candidate, and the voters will let the board members know how they feel on the next election date.

---

The 'Igeek" campaign might be a little more successful if the subjects were identified. Some I do know, and the correlation makes sense, but when we don't know the person and his/her association with the subject matter, the effort is meaningless.

---

Council has hit rock bottom! First it is building a natatorium that cannot even be made profitable on paper, and now it's considering putting the facility under a third party... Yeah, like a third party management team is really going to care about earmarking revenues for maintaining the facility long term.

---

L-E headline/story: "Man faces DUI and hit-and-run charges * Anthony D. Rogers. 22, of Columbus also faces charges of driving while his license was suspended and no proof of insurance" -- Once again, people who have their license suspended should have the car/truck they were driving during the incident either impounded or Denver Booted during the time of suspension, and not get it back wiithout proof of insurance being in effect. It's not rocket science.

---

L-E headline/story: "Homebuilder confidence surges to 6-year high * The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo building sentiment index released Tuesday increased to 40 in September. That's up from 37 in August and the highest reading since June 2006, just before the housing bubble burst." -- There's no way to consider any rise to 40% a surge in anything, much less in 'confidence'. Of note is tying the low point to the Democrat Party congressional control in 2006.

Once again, mainstream media is more interested in Mitt Romney's tax returns that they are about King Arpege's college grades/admission records/travel documents. or Harry Reid's budget plans. Romney should just produce copies of all the checks he's written for his taxes, and say he'll show the returns to the media as soon as the media gets copies of Arpege's and Reid's items.

---

BCer Sen. Josh McKoon will be joined by Lt. Governor Casey Cagle at GICC this afternoon at 5:30. Fund raiser, but donations not necessary. Drop by and welcome and encourage them.

---

Tyler Perry cancels "Madea Gets a Job" tour. Guess he feels King Arpege might get re-elected, and his audience will laugh at him for his suggestion rather tham with him for his jokes. Jobs are no laughing matter.

---

Latest from barackobama.com: "President Obama says his faith has informed how he lives his life as a husband, a father, and as president. In his own words: "My faith helps me to keep my eyes on the prize and focus on what is good and truly important." -- "faith"? Faith in what... faith in those who voted for him in 2008 still believe in him; faith in the media to continue blasting Romeny for how he spends his own money versus how King Arpege spends tax dollars; or faith in Christian people turning their cheeks for the next slap?

---

From passed along e-mails from a fellow BCer, it seems there's a tsunami sized crime wave in the Hilton/Clubview area. Keep alert and call in any suspicious activities. Seems like the local media is not reporting much of this as it's Mayor Obamalinson's beloved MidTown project area.

---

An obscure video, one which probably has been viewed by very, very few Muslims in Libya, is being blamed by the White House for the assault and death of our late ambassador there. Even if the video had been widely broadcast, even if our government produced the video, the assault was not based on the anger that it is being blamed for, but because the terrorists have no respect for King Arpege who helped them overthrow Gadhafi.

---

King Arpege days there was no "actionable intelligence" available to foresee the attacks on our embassy. Isn't that what we've been saying since before King Arpege was sworn in back in 2009?
---

Do you think our embassies would be under attack if Reagan or Bush were in office? I don't think they will be when Romney sits in the Oval Office.
---

Why would a forum that drew maybe 50 people and was absent at least 5 candidates be worthy of being reported as news?

---

Billboard in Michigan passed along by a fellow BCer:

---

Say what they will, 911, and the war in Afghanistan did not begin with Bush43. XpotUS Clinton had Bin Laden's head offered to him on a platter but refused it.

---

You know, if you are a "royal", and know papparazi are ever present, then don't take off your clothes when outside! Case closed.

---

There is no "I" in team. That's probably why King Arpege doesn't meet with his cabinet advisors very often.

---

Republicans have offered "Contracts With and For America". King Arpege has offered to rewrite and rename Thomas Jefferson's document, 'The Declaration of MeDependence".

---

In a L-E story today, the MCSD board cut furlough days by eliminating some programs. Nice...NOT... to know our board will find ways to put more money in people's pockets versus putting that 'found' money into proven student programs. I know wher the MCSD can find $17,000.00 a month that's wasted and could be saved.

---

Why is the MCSD so concerned about a bill that could redirect tax dollars from its revenue flow and put it into charter school ventures? All the MCSD needs to do is a better job so parents wouldn't look for alternatives. Also, why is the MCSD so proud of the 31,000 students under its wing? That number is not a growing one... actually it is a declining one as more parents are willing to sacrifice their disposable income for their children to go to private schools.

---

L-E story: "Columbus, Ohio - A condemned Ohio inmate who weighs at least 480 pounds wants his upcoming execution delayed, saying his weight could lead to a "torturous and lingering death". * (Ronald) Post is scheduled to die Jan. 16 (2013) for the 1983 (shooting) death of Helen Vantz" -- For nearly 30 years Post has fattened himself at the expense of the taxpayers, and made Helen Vantz's friends and family have lingering and torturous unrequited memories of her death. Give him another choice of deaths... let him die of starvation in his cell...don't feed him again (unless they feed him a jolt of electricity).

L-E's "Thought for Today": "We want the facts to fit the preconceptions. When they don't it is easier to ignore the facts than to change the preconceptions." - Jessamyn West, American author (1902-1984) --American author... maybe she wrote the campaign strategy policy of the DIM&DUMBERats.. that or either the quote was really made by David Axelrod under a pseudonym.

When the NCAA bumped the allowable games scheduled to 11, then 12, it was suppose to allow for conference schools to be able to schedule games against other conferences' teams for some interregional interest/competition. It's not working that way. In 1965, Alabama's 12 game schedule included 9 SEC opponents plus Houston and Miami. In 2012 Alabama is plays 13 games. With the newest setup after adding 2 new teams to the SEC, Alabama plays 8 SEC games, Michigan, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, and Western Carolina. The Michigan game was a set-up for the Cowboy Classic season opener, but what's the interest in seeing Alabama versus WK, FA, or WC?

Alabama is only an example, the rest of the SEC is about the same. We would get even better football if the SEC schedules took out the powder puff games and let/made the teams schedule more teams in the other SEC division.

How can American Jews support Israel and King Arpege?

---

I think I've figured out Donald Trump's hairdo... Seen those TV commercials for "Magic Hair" in a can? Don't tell me you cannot see this, too.

---

So now Afghani terrorists are wearing US military uniforms to stage raids on our men. Where are they getting them... Is this another scandalous operation of Eric Holder and DOJ? Maybe "Flash & Fashionista?
---

There are five "I-words" King Arpege has to deal with daily. Three of them he spews out as world problem solvers, "I", iPhone, and iPad. The other he avoids at all costs for he is the cause of the problem, "inflation and ineptness"!

---

King Arpege will do/say anything to appease his base or any voter bloc with a single issue. To prove it, he's currently moving back further to the Wright.
---

I'm real curious as to why a natural born or naturalized, law abiding citizen of any U state can be perceived as not being able to easily secure a voter ID card.

---

L-E headline: "Lake Lanier nine feet below full" -- Guess this time next year, the Whitewater project will have to be jockeying for water in the Chattahoochee like Alabama and Florida do.

Sunday, September 16, 2012

Online story: "The federal prison system has been unable to keep pace with the stream of inmates flooding its facilities over the last five years despite adding space for thousands of new convicts * The already-taxed Bureau of Prisons network swelled to 39 percent above capacity through last September" -- Well, maybe King Arpege's spinmeisters can convert this situation into the one campaign promise he's kept to those voting for him... free government housing, food, and healthcare.

---

Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed by David Gregory on NBC, and said, "I mean I heard some people suggest, David, I actually read this in the American press. They said, "Well, you know, if you take action, that's a lot worse than having Iran with nuclear weapons." Some have even said that Iran with nuclear weapons would stabilize the Middle East, stabilize the Middle East. I think the people who say this have set a new standard for human stupidity." -- Now we know how the world perceives King Arpege.

---

King Arpege has caused another review of how we must think of the White House compound. When Jack & Jackie reside their, the mainstream media created "Camelot". With the Arpege's in house, thoughts turn to "Camel lot".

---

Thank goodness for UGA's route of FAU! My bride allowed me to change the channel just in time to catch the last Stanford TD against Southern Cal. Stanford completed a 4 year sweep of Barkley as a QB and a serious Heisman candidate.

---

Rumor has it that the next iPhone will be gold and in the shape of a calf.

---

Guess U of Louisiana at Monroe will be the next SEC invitee. After two weeks, ULM has something Texas A&M, and Missouri don't...a SEC win under its belt..almost two.

---

Missouri must have been listening this past week. Mizzu ditched their really ugly uniforms for some less ugly, and got an ugly win!

---

When the Founding Fathers drew up our Constitution, great effort was .made to keep one religion from being favored by the government over any other. Little did they know that segments of society would use the Founding Fathers' determination to undermine the importance of Christianity, and the importance of Christianity in America's future.
---

Yesterday was a whirlwind! We retired from My Party Place, and had a inventory sale. Even sold the paint off the walls. Fun day for sure.

---

Some schools are now banning rosaries because they are too similar to gang symbols... So now faith in Christ makes you a gang member to school officials? Well, call me gang member, too!

---

NYC mayor Bloomberg has really outsmarted himself by banning large "sugary" drinks. Now he and King Arpege will not be able to sell their 'kool-aid' to NYC voters.

---

Can it get any worse than mainstream media wonks getting together to compare notes and coordinate their plans/questions to attack a presidential candidate here in America? Sounds more like an election in a third world country.

---

My bride is really coming around. King Arpege's "Camel Lot" spinmeister Jay Carney blamed the death of a US ambassador on the anti-Muslim 'movie' on YouTube, then added that if King Arpege is going to blame the American diplomat's death on a movie, then King Arpege needs to blame Hollywood for our nation's violence and moral degeneration. Will he do that? No way... not and cut off their donations to him.

---

It is not racial profiling for an American policeman to hear Mexican adults, even school-aged children speaking only in Spanish, and ask them questions.. it's really just basic common sense.
---

L-E headline: "Location of Updyke's trial still undecided" -- Hmmm, under the bare branches of the Toomer's Corner oaks would be convenient... the bare limbs will still support a noose for a while longer.

---

While Karl Douglass usually pens worthwhile columns, today's fall way short. The public elects the Board of Education to oversee today and direct the future. The Board should make the decision of finding a new Superintendent without having to salve political ramblings/feelings of persons/groups that have only their own agenda needs in mind. The one thing all of the Superintendents since Dr Shaw have had in common is that they all were ending their careers here, and none planned to be here long enough to implement their programs and see them come to fruition. The next Superintendent, and subsequent ones, should have at least 10-15 years left before being able/ready to retire.

---

L-E "headlie": "Priority One: Getting voters to the polls" -- WRONG! Getting qualified and legal voters to the polls should be the Priority One!

---

L-E's "Quotable": "All change is not growth, as all movement is not forward." - Ellen Glasgow, American Author (1973 (sic) 1873-1945) -- Obviously King Arpege is not well read on American authors. Had he been, he never would have run his campaigns on slogans of "Hope and Change" and "Forward".

---

L-E's editorial cartoon:

Liberals must really anguish over their feelings about conservatives and King Arpege. If this had been run for years ago, it would have had King Arpege behind the podium and McCain missiles would have had "hate" rather than "apologies" written on the sides.

---

L-E headline: "Teen charged with trying to blow up Chicago bar" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought some first time voter was going to eliminate a bunch of lawyers from running for election.

---

Instant repeat headline/story: ""Teen charged with trying to blow up Chicago bar * The FBI started monitoring (18 year old Adel Daaoud) after he allegedly posted material online about violent jihad and the killing of Americans, federal prosecutors said. -- There went the case! Now some court will overturn any conviction on a 'profiling' basis because the FBI associated an Arab sounding name and 'jihad' with a potential crime.

---

Jarvis Jones was as impressive on the sidelines this week as he was on the field last week. Usually when a player is not going to play because of an injury, the player may be seen on the sidelines wearing his jersey and a pair of shorts/jeans. Jarvis was decked out in full pads, ready to play if his coach and teams needed him to play injured.

---

You know, I've rarely been a Florida fan (other than in most non-conference and non-SEC bowl opponent games), but I'm glad Florida beat Texas A&M, and Tennessee. Both of those teams need to earn their respect as a SEC team.

---

WDAK-540-AM had some cockamamie excuse for not having the Troy State-MSU game on last night. Would really like to know the true reason.

---

L-E headline/story: "Hundreds march in NYC to mark Occupy anniversary * About 300 people observing the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street marched to a small concrete park in New York's lower Manhattan that served as headquarters for the protest movement and was its birthplace." -- And still not-looking for a job.

Saturday, September 15, 2012

Online headline/story: "Wisconsin Collective Bargaining Law Struck Down By County Judge * Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas ruled that the law violates both the state and U.S. Constitution and is null and void. * In his 27-page ruling, the judge said sections of the law "single out and encumber the rights of those employees who choose union membership and representation solely because of that association and therefore infringe upon the rights of free speech and association guaranteed by both the Wisconsin and United States Constitutions." -- More political BS. The D&Ds just cannot accept the people's will, and abuse the court system for preferences of a private entity (the union hierarchy itself) who can leverage its own power at the expense of an individuals right to work.

---

Online headline/story: "Walmart Warehouse Workers Pilgrimage For 50 Miles Over 6 Days To Protest Working Conditions * The Inland Empire group began on Thursday a six-day, 50-mile march, which they are calling a "pilgrimage," to draw attention to the poor working conditions that they say they can no longer tolerate." -- If the workers who walked out want sympathy, they lost it by announcing they would walk 50 miles in 6 days. If that's as productive as they can be, the what ever Walmart paid them was too much. This is just more union politicking.

---

WRBL3 story: "Georgia's resolve will be tested this week. Florida Atlantic (1-1) has just two victories in the last 22 months, and one of those was an ugly 7-3 win over lower-division Wagner in the season opener. *The Bulldogs (2-0) opened as a 44½-point favorite. * Florida Atlantic is essentially playing this game for the money. The Owls will receive $1 million from Georgia, and another $1 million payout next week to get beaten by ... uh, to play top-ranked Alabama." -- The NCAA expanded the game schedules to allow matches like this? Why don't teams just schedule a "varsity versus alumni" game if they just want a "W". Some athlete on one of the fodder teams is going to get injured bad enough to sue his own school/coach for reckless endangerment, and get this insaneness stopped.

---

Online headline/story: "Ratings Agency Egan-Jones Downgrades US Debt * Egan-Jones cited "the potential for the Federal Reserve's third round of large-scale asset purchases to weaken the dollar and drive up inflation," without significantly raising the country's real gross domestic product. * Egan-Jones was also the first to downgrade Enron and WorldCom, two of corporate history's most notorious failures." -- King Arpege just cemented his place in history... he was the first president to get the US downgraded, and now it has become a trend. Hurry November!

---

At this point, I'm really glad the national media and polls are trying to show King Arpege is still viable... this makes sure those of us who see the continued destruction of this country will be out in force on election day to stop it.

---

Judging from his remarks concerning the deaths of the US ambassador, it seems King Arpege has graduated from Biden's School of Gaffes.

Paul Ryan said King Arpege didn't fail because his agenda was blocked in Congress, it failed because it was passed!

Thursday, I witnessed a CSU student purchasing Camel cigarettes at "The Den" (the CSU student meal/convenience store downtown). He paid $6.31 for a pack and used his CSU student account to pay for them (Hey dads, are you watching where your son's meal money you provided is being siphoned up by CSU). Even worse was that the Camel package was blue... what are they?

---

While we talking about CSU selling cigarettes on its campus, I also note that I haven't seen a designated smoking area nor a single butt disposal unit anywhere on the CSU downtown campus.

---

Had a harrowing experience at St Francis Hospital Wednesday! Went up early to support a family member's procedure, parked unknowingly in the garage serving the main lobby, then called family member to see where they were located. The hall and floor setup is akin to an English Boxwood hedge maze. You can't get to the endoscopy waiting room by verbal direction from the main lobby. Fortunately, one staffer guided me there the last half of thr trek.

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "It is very sad that while Condi Rice was a speaker at the RNC, delegates were throwing peanuts at a black female, saying "This is how we feed animals." Who more represents this party?" -- Don't know which entity is the most ignorant and racist... the writer for his/her undocumented claim, or the L-E for printing such undocumented garbage?

---

Another hateful liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Mitt Romney is about as un-American as one can get. He banks overseas, he did his military service as a missionary overseas, he sends jobs overseas, and his grandparents came from Mexico." -- What is it about personal success in life that get's liberal's shorts in a wad? To me, Mitt Romney and his family have achieved the American dream by hard work, perseverance, and personal effort.

So President Obama told us that, " You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth." Then he went on to explain his college education plan:
· Cut the growth of college tuition in half over the next 10 years
· Recruit 100,000 math and science teachers over the next 10 years
· Train two million workers for real jobs at community colleges --

This has the reality factor of a 21st Century Mother Goose story written for a remake of the Twilight Zone!

Friday, September 14, 2012

Online story: "WASHINGTON -- Fiery Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert (Texas) hammered President Barack Obama Thursday for his response to the deaths of four Americans in Libya, suggesting the commander-in-chief handled it cavalierly and was more interested in a "whoop dee doo" campaign stop in Las Vegas. * "We have a leader who takes a minute and a half out on a big whoop dee doo campaign stop, to say 'Wait, wait wait, it's been a tough week, we've lost some people ... an ambassador. Ah, now back to the fundraising and the fun and the cheering for me,'" Gohmert said." -- King Arpege's spinmeisters were mighty upset... yeah, because there's no way for them to spin it any differently.

From the 'it's not one world' department - Online headline/story: "BAMAKO, Mali -- Speaking from his hospital bed, a young man whose hand and foot were amputated this week by the radical Islamic group controlling northern Mali described an agony unlike any other – "a pain that made me forget everything." * He is one of five cousins, all in their 20s, and all but one from the village of Fafa, who were convicted of carrying out highway robberies. * It's a crime punishable by double amputation, according to the strict form of Islamic law known as Shariah that is being applied with increasing frequency in the northern half of Mali, which fell to al-Qaida-linked rebels five months ago." -- And we have liberal judges that think American justice should consider international laws...

Online headline: "California's Largest College Faces Bankruptcy" -- I guess they mean financial bankruptcy as it's been evident for years the California college system was morally bankrupt.

The White House is backtracking on its statement that King Arpege has missed over half of the foreign policy briefings since he was elected because he read them himself and didn't need to be at those briefings. This just confirms that he doesn't listen to his advisors but it also indicates that perhaps he writes them all, and his policy wonks are just as misinformed as he is.
---
The Inspector General's report on "Fast and Furious" is out,. * "Attorney General Eric Holder has said the report, which will be scrutinized on Capitol Hill, will provide him the basis to discipline or fire those found most culpable" (quote from Fox News)" -- Hmmm, looks like we need to take the firing and discipline into our on hands. The "fastest and most furious" route is by the ballot box November 6th. By mid January, Eric Holder will be booted out of his office, and into the hot seat he's created.

If you've traveled down 2nd Ave in the last three weeks, you've noticed a City 'message sign' warning us about paving work ahead beginning August 25th. The work was completed by August 26th. L-E's "Today in History": "September 14, 1861, the first naval engagement of the Civil War took place as the USS Colorado attacked and sank the Confederate private schooner Judah off Pensacola, FL." -- "sand\k the Confederate private schooner"? Sounds like the same situation that got the country involved in WW1 when the Germans sank a private liner, the Lusitania.

The Salisbury Fair started out and grew as a family-driven event. Riverfest died because it became an alcohol-driven event. There's a lesson in there.

Richard Hyatt is spot-on about what our government built buildings are lacking... style, grace, function, and staying power. Who's going to want 100-year-old picture post cards of city buildings 100 years from now? In fact 50 years from now, most of these building will need to be torn down for lack of proper maintenance.. just look at the MCSD schools as a really good example.
---
There's going to be another whin-a-thon forum at 4th Street Baptist Church lead by the regional director of Southern Anti-Racism Network. Good grief, there has been too much finger-pointing at the wrong reasons. If these involved 'leaders' want to accomplish something, they should be leading by example by motivating individuals to take control of their lives; to set personal goals; to rise up against their community crime tolerance; rebuild proper family structure, and shake off the dependence of government entitlement shackles.
---
Looks like the King Arpege regime is going to blame Hurricane Isaac for the jump in first time unemployment claims. Wait! How can this be? The media has pretty much moved on from Isaac since King Arpege personally addressed/solved the problems, and anything wrong there is still Bush's fault.
---
Before any mainstream media tries to associate the rising DOW to King Arpege, facts should be assembled. The main one will be comparing how many people were employed by the DOW components the first time it reached the 13,500 mark versus how many are employed by the same DOW component companies yesterday.

L-E story: "Protesters in Libya and Egypt stormed US diplomatic missions Tuesday.
