You know, reducing income and eliminating  property taxes is being bounced around a lot in GA as helping "the middle class" voters, but eliminating sales/SPLOST taxes would do so even better. This would encourage the consumers 9% more cash to spend on other products/services.

Senator PASTOR  Warnock called the US Supreme Court "illegitimate". And *Supreme Court dealt 'devastating blow' to democracy with Voting Rights Act”--  What an insult to our Constitution! You know, by consolidating any group. - racial, or for that matter, political. - into districts, you actually DILUTE the the impact such groups make statewide. In fact, this was proposed here in GA in the past, and the Supreme Court ruled that 3 super-Black districts diluted the overall distribution of voters. Besides, only KNOWing fraud exists at the pools would make a politician oppose such! Warnock.. Ossoff for that matter .. does not represent the majority of Georgians today!

Listened to both segments of WRBL-TV3's Chuck Williams interviewing Gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson .. Chuck threw some hard inside fast ones and a couple of nasty curves at him that Jackson handled well .. Now, looking back at Chuck's interview with Columbus GA Mayoral candidate "I-see-a-nothing" Hugley, all we Chuck toss in were slow softballs.. What a disservice to the citizens of Columbus GA!

At best.. solo lower level federal judges are a “screening service” and only have “power” to pass upward to a judicial panel and the Supreme Court if successful.

I don’t know what went on in the recent coup of all three of our Juvenile judges… but something less than kosher happened.. 4 years ago, no challenges were offered yet this year 13.. maybe 14.. lawyers applied to be considered over the existing judges.. and as a member of the area, I don’t know the names of who else was in the running, but it really has caused a smell that needs to be explained…Starting with “who voted”?  Was it just the existing Superior Court Judges or did the “candidates” also get a vote… I know I didn’t as a registered voter… Bet two years from now, the Superior Court races will be “interesting”.
