When the NCAA bumped the allowable games scheduled to 11, then 12, it was
suppose to allow for conference schools to be able to schedule games against
other conferences' teams for some interregional interest/competition. It's not
working that way. In 1965, Alabama's 12 game schedule included 9 SEC opponents
plus Houston and Miami. In 2012 Alabama is plays 13 games. With the newest setup
after adding 2 new teams to the SEC, Alabama plays 8 SEC games, Michigan,
Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, and Western Carolina. The Michigan game was
a set-up for the Cowboy Classic season opener, but what's the interest in seeing
Alabama versus WK, FA, or WC?
Alabama is only an example, the rest of the SEC is about the same. We would
get even better football if the SEC schedules took out the powder puff games and
let/made the teams schedule more teams in the other SEC division.

There are five "I-words" King Arpege has to deal with daily. Three of them
he spews out as world problem solvers, "I", iPhone, and iPad. The other he
avoids at all costs for he is the cause of the problem, "inflation and
