Online headline: "Massive oil spill in Calif. stretches for four miles" -- Ooops, my bad.. Senator Feinstein may not have had a meltdown as was rumored.

---
Online headline: "Top Ten reasons Letterman is in a league of his own" -- Hmmm.. and the number one reason is: He's the only late night host who didn't make "the Majors".

---
Online headline: "Beau Biden hospitalized for unknown reason" -- You'd be sick, too, if the only family conversation involved your Dad outlining reasons he should be the next President.

---
Online headline: "Unions push for new policy after train crash * The group representing Amtrak's locomotive engineers urged the railroad to require a second crew member at the control of trains." -- Good grief.. all the union really cares about is creating another unneeded union job... As it stands, computers could run rail transport better than a speed demon with his hands on the throttle, but now the union wants to add a back-up speed demon in the cab. Sorta reminds me of how the union fought to keep coal shovelers on board after the engines were converted to diesel fuel.

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Los Angeles on Tuesday became the biggest U.S. city to raise its minimum wage to $15 an hour. * Following a hot debate, the city council voted 14 to 1 to approve a plan to gradually increase the required wage to $15 an hour by July 2020. The current $9-an-hour minimum wage was already slated to increase to $10 in January. * The pay bump will affect about 567,000 workers in the city. * “This is a game changer,” Tsedeye Gebreselassie, a senior staff attorney at the wage advocacy group National Employment Law Project, " -- Good grief.. minimum wage would be a lot better off if Obamageddon never took office.. the National Debt has nearly doubled since he took office.. which basically means the take-home dollar of everybody's paycheck has been devalued by half.

---
Online headline: "Cuba-US relations take substantial step forward * An American official said Tuesday the Cuban government's latest move clears another obstacle in re-establishing diplomatic ties." -- Hmm no steps should be taken until extradition protocol has been established.. starting with cop-killer Assata Shakur.

---
There's a class room at St Elmo Elementary School that lost its AC unit in the middle of March..it's been two months and it is not fixed. The MCSD is not looking after our kids. How many amongst us would not get the A/C fixed within days at our homes? As it stands now, the MCSD says it cannot..maybe will not.. fix the unit until August. Whether any kids will be using this classroom during the summer, materials, equipment, electronics ( computers/smart boards etc) will be exposed to excessive, and damaging heat for the next 2.5 months. The issue is basically an inadequate maintenance department because the budget doesn't allow enough money to "fix things".

---
A simple solution to the above would be to eliminate the MCSD "police".. The MCSD has 182 people on its "Security" staff.. at $20K per that equates to a quick $3.2 MILLION. With schools already equipped with cameras and alarms.. let the Columbus Police Department handle security problems.. besides, the students are better served with REAL police officers.

---
You know, Superintendent Lewis admitted that there are 127 unused classrooms..that's enough for 4 -to- 6 schools. In other words, utilities such as heat and air conditioning are bring used in basically 4-6 schools..How much is that in wasted taxpayer funded utility bills. No wonder GA Power was do generous in donating to the SPLOST.. more new buildings to heat/cool create more empty old rooms.

---
Online headline: "House approves another temporary highway aid fix * Lawmakers passed a bill Tuesday allowing states to receive funding for two months as they grapple with U.S.'s infrastructure financing woes.
* Fund relies on unpopular tax" -- "relies on unpopular tax"? IMF.. your job, if you chose to accept it, is to find a "popular tax".

---
You know size can be deceiving.. take road maintenance workers in a state.. you would think the larger states would have more roads, thus the most workers.. you'd be wrong..Forget Alaska.. it has very few roads outside of cities (and only 100 workers), Texas.. former biggest, now out second largest state.. it has almost 5,200 road workers..California.. it has 5030.. on the other hand.. New York has 14, 280, Pennsylvania has 11,360, and Illinois has 6,290. Wanna bet on which states have the strongest union impact on road worker jobs?

---
Online headline: "Kim Jong Un's wrath falls on an unlikely target * North Korea's supreme leader became angry at a turtle farm after it failed to follow through on a special 'mission' for his party's anniversary." -- Hmmm.. guess that deflates another adage about perseverance.. Remember the moral of the tortoise & hare fable.. "slow and steady wins the race"? .. Well, not in North Korea.. now it's "slow and steady wins disgrace".

---
Online headline: "Bill could squash ex-presidents' expense accounts" -- Ooops, my bad.. I thought Congress was reigning in "Bill Clinton" because of his Foundation and Campaign travel.. seems there's an actual bill to cap all ex-presidents' travel funds..couldn't come a better time.. in less than two years, Michelle Obama will be in permanent vacation mode.

---
Online headline: "Sandra Fluke: ‘‘I’d rather be a captive Nigerian girl than touched by a Republican’’ -- Whatta megalomaniac I'm pretty sure no Republican.. and few Democrats, want to "touch" a woman who's got such a sex life that she says she needs government help to afford her birth control pills.

---
You know..if we're not going to support Iraq with troops, perhaps there a better way to solve things than us sending hi-tech equipment there that ends up in the hands of ISIS. What if we send Michelle Obama in to confiscate all the guns like she wants to do here, and leave them an ample supply of rocks and swords, and just go at it Biblical style.

---
A fellow BCer came up with a good response for John Darr to send to Glenn Davis...perhaps Glenn should run his Hilton Garden Inn 8:00-5:00 on weekdays, and close on the weekends, too.

---
Online headline: "'A Sad State of Affairs': Dem Rep Says Members of Congress Deserve a Raise" -- Hmm, Las Vegas wouldn't even put a line out on whether this was a Democrat or Republican...

---
From above story: "At a hearing regarding the 2016 Legislative Branch appropriations bill yesterday, Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) said that his salary of $174,000 a year simply isn't enough to live on in Washington, D.C" -- Fancy that.. then how about LIVING in your District, and renting when you go to the actual Congressional Sessions.
---
Now it's being revealed that Bill Clinton doubled his speaking fee costs in foreign countries while Hillewinsky was Secretary of State, and since she resigned, his fee has dropped back down. If that's not a clear indication of conflicts of personal interest, and ethics violations, what us? Hey, and we are not going to let Bill define "IS" again!
---
Now it's being revealed that Hillewinsky was using a second personal e-mail address when she was Secretary of State. You know.. she'd lie at confession if she was Catholic.
---
L-E headline: "MCSD academic chief to be Pacelli principal" -- Congratulations to Pacelli for catching Ronie, and congrats to Ronie for knowing when to escape. Too bad us taxpayers will suffer.. Lewis will hire two of his friends to replace her.

---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I’m a Republican, but I praise the White House’s decision to remove federal funding supplying military gear to local police departments. They’ve become too militarized." -- Good grief.. Democrats will lie about anything.. including saying they are Republicans if they feel it will make their lie look semi-credible...Militarizing our police has been Obamageddon's game plan to creating his own personal civilian army that could do battle with our military if he challenged the US Constitution's limit of two terms.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “If you want to make peace, you don’t talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.” — Moshe Dayan (1915-1981)." -- That would have been good advice for Obamageddon when he was ignoring the Republican's in Congress. Sad though, is that any president of the people makes enemies instead of believers of those who voted against him in the beginning..
---
L-E story: "A Tennessee man and his family used much of the $187 million it collected for cancer patients to buy themselves cars, gym memberships and take luxury cruise vacations, pay for college tuition and employ family members with six-figure salaries, federal officials alleged Tuesday in one of the largest charity fraud cases ever, involving all 50 states." -- Surely, this guy is either kin to the Clintons or a former architect of the Clinton Foundations.
---
Councilman Bruce Huff says he wants to find budget money to cut the Municpal Clerk's budget cuts in half.. He says he's going to look for and find the money.. that should be easy enough .. start with Mayor TomLYINGson's pet projects....
---
L-E headline: "Clinton urges State Department to speed release of emails" -- Yeah.. right.. how'd her planned April Fool's Day press release get so delayed?
---
You know.. libs and mainstream media are attempting to tie-in "defunding" (blame Bush) with the recent AMTRAK disasters.. The solution is to stop ALL federal subsidies so either AMTRAK will run efficiently and profitably or go away.
---
L-E story: "Thanks to a $24.5 million federal grant designed to better prepare children from low-income families for post secondary education, nearly 1,000 Phenix City rising seventh- and eighth-graders are among approximately 9,300 Alabama students who will receive full scholarships to any public community or technical college in the state when they complete the program and graduate from high school." -- Good grief.. doesn't the L-E "know" where federal grants come from? It comes from taxpayer pockets and contributes to the reason that poverty and lower income segments are growing.
---
Althea S. Booth, 95, just passed last week... it was just announced or I would have been there to pay tribute to her influence on mine, and thousands of others who learned to love math at Wynnton Elementary, Columbus High, and later at Richards Junior High.
---
Hillewinsky says she's got to raise $2.5 BILLION dollars for her presidential election. Hmmm, you'd think that as long as she's been considered as "the smartest woman" in the world by libs & mainstream media, and all the exposure through the media as First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State, that she should be able to win without spending another dime. Why is she projecting that she has to spend $2.5 BILLION to buy enough votes?
---
Don't you wonder if George Stomped-his-nose-in-his-own-poo donated to Obamageddon, and if he didn't, don't you know Obamageddon is wondering why?
---
Now it looks like the "trigger" to the Waco (or is that Wacko?) Biker bloodbath was a parking issue.. Some 100 weapons were recovered. Hmmm..200 bikers and only 100 weapons recovered..sounds like half the bikers didn't get "the memo".
---
Online story: "Girl Scouts is proud to be the premiere leadership organization for girls in the country. Placement of transgender youth is handled on a case-by-case basis, with the welfare and best interests of the child and the members of the troop/group in question a top priority. That said, if the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe." -- "emotionally and physically safe"? What about the emotions and safety of REAL girls.. I think I may have bought my last box of Girl Scout cookies..seems GSA is getting it's own "cookies" elsewhere.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Fall of Ramadi calls US strategy into question" -- DOH! All of a sudden it's "US strategy"? It's been "Obamageddon's Stategy" all along, but why now does the mainstream media call his strategies into question...hasn't mainstream media looked at the failures of Obamageddon's foreign, domestic policies as well as his choices for DOJ heads, and Secretaries of State?
---
You know, George Stomped-his-own-nose-it hasn't just exposed himself to be journalistically biased, ABC has done it, too. ABC's struggle to exonerate Stomped-his-own-nose-it has basically revealed prior upper level executive knowledge of Stomped-his-own-nose-it's actions. Even Bernie Sanders should be upset at ABC being involved in the primary process.
---
Online headline: "Officials uncertain anything struck train before crash" -- To begin with, unless it was a meteor or missile, no small object could have derailed an Amtrak engine (there's no engineer control over anything but the direction, throttle and brake systems.. the rails control the turning of the train), whether the train was speeding or not.. The assertion of such an event being looked into is nothing but governmental subterfuge.
--
Online story: "The State Department has proposed releasing portions of 55,000 pages of emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton by next January. * The department made the proposal in a federal court filing Monday night, in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Vice News. * In the filing, John F. Hackett, who is responsible for the department's responses to FOIA requests, said that following a review of the emails, the department will post the releasable portions of the 55,000 pages on its website." -- Hmmm.. someone serving at the pleasure of a Democratic president is going to review/decide which Hillewinsky e-mails fit into being "released"? I think Congress need to assert itself and appoint a person repesenting the US citizens on this.
---
Random thought: You know.. Bill Clinton campaigned in key elections for Crist in FL, Nunn in GA, and Grimes in KY... and lost all three.. by wider than anticipated margins..
---
Online headline: "Prosecutors ask for gag order in Freddie Gray case" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought the DOJ and White House were being asked to "stick a sock in it". What was really demanded was the truth be muffled.
---
Online headline: "'It's Barack. Really!' Obama joins Twitter, 1M follow" -- Good grief.. transparency has finally emerged from the Obamageddon administration.. the president has confirmed to being a "BIG TWIT"!
---
Online headline: "Backlash builds over pope's confusing remark" -- "confusing remark"? Which one?
---
Online headline: "Student turns down every Ivy League school for University of Alabama" -- Hallelujah and Amen... not so much that he's chosen the University of Alabama, but because a smart young man has decided to keep his mind open and productive for the future of this country..
---
Online story: "Within hours of learning about concerns over a mural on display on the Marquette University campus, school officials had it removed. The mural (murals on campus are usually reserved to honor someone.) showed Assata Shakur — an African-American activist convicted of killing a New Jersey state trooper in 1973. * The mural had been up since March — displayed on the fourth floor of the Marquette University Alumni Memorial Union. * Shakur is on the FBI's list of "Most Wanted Terrorists." -- Idolization and Pedestalization of hatred is the biggest stumbling block to the acceptance of diversity..
---
Note: Shakur is a fugitive in Cuba for the past 30+ years.. perhaps Obamageddon's first diplomatic reconnect with Cuba should include her extradition...
---
Online headline: "Appeals court sides with Google in anti-Muslim film case" -- Wanna bet Google voluntarily takes it down since the courts have ruled it's mainstream?
---
Online story: " Scientists have figured out all the steps to make morphine and similar painkillers without using opium poppies, opening the door for home-brewed drugs and even wider abuse. * no one has yet reported making morphine in the laboratory from scratch" -- Hmmm.. and these are the guys pointing out that man's pollution is climate change, and God doesn't exist? Now we know why...
---
Online story: "Arizona families can now get welfare for no more than one year in their lifetime - the shortest time limit in the nation. * Policy analysts say most states impose a five-year lifetime limit, while 13 states limit the benefits to two years or less." -- Good grief.. the government has created a class of migrant welfare recipients! Moving from state-to-state, one can live a lifetime on government dole.. No wonder the number of people not looking for work is approaching 100,000,000....who are not included in Obamageddon's "unemployment number".
---
Online headline: "British toymaker introduces dolls with disabilities, birthmarks" -- Hmmm.. bet the best selling one will be a Democrat doll.. one without a brain...
---
HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "'Have Your Own Standards': Stephen Colbert Offers Spot-On Life Advice In Wake Forest Commencement Speech * “I hope you find the courage to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong, and then please, expect as much of the world around you. Try to make the world good according to your standards.” -- And we wonder why liberals shun God and His laws... Setting one's own standards for what is right or wrong is basically anarchy. This is why our jails and court systems are clogged..
---
Yesterday, I wrote about Marble Slab Creamery charging 8% sales tax, and my taking charge to get my dime back. Well, last night, my bride and I dined at Atlanta Bread Company which is next door to the Marble Slab.. Yep..ABC charged me 8% sales tax as well. I asked to speak to the manager, and when I questioned her, it was obvious that I wasn't the first to notice and call it to her attention..she quickly said she would get my refund. That's pathetic...to knowingly cheat her customers ( as well as committing a crime of collecting an unauthorized tax). I reported Marble Slab Sunday night, and will add ABC today.
---
While I haven't seen it myself.. I have had two confirmations that Councilor Glenn Davis has sent an e-mail out into the Green Island area neighborhood saying that he feels the Sheriff's Department jobs should be Mon-Fri/8:00-5:00 jobs.. hmmm.. I assume he's implying that would make it easy to cut the Sheriff's Department budget. Sheriff Darr might want to give Glenn an example of running his office on such a basis. Send all the deputies home at 5:00 daily and give them the weekend off.. of course that would mean the jail would be unmanned at night and all weekend.. and since the DOJ would be consider it unsafe to have unattended prisoners locked up, then open all the cell and access doors and put the prisoners on the honor system to stay in their cells all night and weekends until the deputies return at 8:00.. oh.. and since the prisoners would have to eat and untrained people in the kitchen would be another safety violation, give all the prisoners Metra passes and Glenn's home address so they can stop by for an after hours snack or weekend barbeque.. maybe Glenn can even get his neighbors on board to open up their houses as well.
---
Tomorrow will be the filing date for merchants to report sales taxes/information to the GA Department of Revenue.. Gove Deal has already voiced his excitement over April tax revenues.. guess we';; get a great idea about how things are going in Columbus so we'll be better informed about what the 2015 SPLOST will bring in..
---
L-E headline/story: "Wife in Tax Time tax fraud case screams at husband; taken away by ambulance; trial delayed * Just before the trial of Lakeisha Nichole Degourville and her husband of 15 years, Ken Wilford Degourville Jr., was to start, she began yelling at him in the courtroom as they awaited the start of jury selection. * According to a 58-count indictment, the 36-year-old husband faces one count each of tax evasion and theft, two counts of identification fraud, and 17 counts each of filing false documents and computer forgery. His wife, 35, was indicted on one count each of theft and evading state income taxes, and nine counts each of filing false documents and computer forgery. * “She has had a nervous breakdown,” (Defense Attorney G*rner said, “because the tax people have come in and taken everything she has — six houses, three cars, all her jewelry, $20,000 in cash, they even took her bill money." ... -- "tax people have come in and taken...six houses, three cars, all her jewelry, $20,000 in cash, they even took her bill money"? She owned nothing! What she did was convert fraudulently acquired cash to material goods.. either way.. the government owns them, and if there was any known collusion involving the purchase of the houses, the sellers should be looked into as well.
---
L-E headline: "Proposal to roll back property taxes gains support on Muscogee County School Board" --
While this is fine and dandy, it's petty cash compared to what having the SPLOST projects monitored for competitive pricing.. Take the building costs alone for the multiple weight/wresting rooms... concrete slabs and 2400 square feet of metal construction... no way they should cost anywhere near $312.00 a square foot, but that's what the MCSD says they will. at MCSD projections, a 50X20 A-Action storage building should cost $312,000.00.
---
L-E headline: "IS militants look for collaborators door-to-door after taking Iraqi city" -- Hey... why don't we get Bill Clinton to define "IS"? Obviously, Obamageddon is not going go do the same.

Monday, May 18, 2015

Online headline: "Iraq official: 500 killed, 8,000 fled as Ramadi fell to IS" -- You know.. US air support isnot going to stop ISIS.. ISIS knows.. KNOWS, Obamageddon is not going to stand strong at any "line drawn in the sand", and without the fear of American "boots" and know-how being deployed, ISIS has no fear of outside military intervention from the UN or other individual allies. And which Islamist leader is going to challenge another Islamist terrorist?
---
Online story: "Amtrak officials said Sunday that trains along the busy Northeast Corridor from Washington to Boston would resume service Monday in "complete compliance" with federal safety orders following last week's deadly derailment.* Federal regulators on Saturday ordered Amtrak to expand use of a speed-control system long in effect for southbound trains near the crash site to northbound trains in the same area. * Trains going through that section of track will be governed by the system, which alerts engineers to slow down when their trains go too fast and automatically applies the brakes if the train continues to speed." -- "a system that alerts drivers"? You know.. having a system of "alert" to drivers, but depending on the drivers to manually engage for some undefined period of time is akin to teaching your 15 year old how to brake safely and smoothly on the first "lesson". Then you have to worry for the next 5 or 6 years whether your young adult will drive safely without you in the passenger seat. All this has been done is to bolster the union stranglehold on "jobs". Remember when trains were coal fueled? Remember when diesel fuel replaced coal? Remember how unions demanded that coal attendants jobs were kept, even though there was no need for them? Well, basically, there's no need for train engineers today.. Electronic controls and rail sensors have been able to run trains over rail systems for years, and most, if not all train wrecks could have been avoided altogether (exception being when cars/trucks/buses do foolish things at crossings).
---
Online headline: "Kerry slams North Korea for 'horrific conduct'" -- That took "balls"... NOT! When, if ever, is Kerry, or any Obamageddon emissary going to slam ISIS or Iran or Boko Haram or Russia .. or for that matter Harry Reid & Nancy Pelosi and our own DOJ, for "horrific conduct"?
---
Local THEFT alert! It was bad enough in January when merchants did not adjust their cash register software to reflect the drop in sales tax when the 2009 SPLOST was retired, but I found one last night that was still charging 8% sales taxes. "Marble Slab Creamery" at Columbus Park Crossing still has its register configured to cheat us out of our money.. It's not like they don't know how to reprogram the registers, as all the merchandise price increases of late have been fixed, but 4 and a half months later, Marble Slab is still stealing that extra 1% straight from consumer pockets! Oh.. you can count on it not getting into the state or local tax coffers as sales tax reporting is figured out separately by the 20th of each following month based on merchandise sales.. the illegally collected-at-the-point-of-sales extra 1% is going straight into owners's pockets as undocumented revenue. If you order a $4.99 cone there, the total should be $5.34, not $5.39,, that nickel is the difference between being charged 7%, not 8%. I bought two cones and challenged the cashier.. I got my dime back..
---
Online headline: "Records offer murky view into Affleck's ancestor and slavery" -- Good grief.. it's a liberals nightmare to be confronted with their ancestors! People in America that have ancestral roots here before the 1850's probably have a good chance that someone in their family owned a slave.. that includes some successful blacks as well as whites..the difference then was, even though it was a morals issue, it was legal. Now it's illegal, has been for 150 +/- years.. but laws are pretty specific about not being retro-enforceable. Time has shaped us, even corrected us, and it''s time now that we accept the past and move on with the future.
---
Online headline: "Can ABC News' chief anchor repair his reputation? * George Stephanopoulos apologized to his viewers recently for failing to disclose $75,000 in contributions to the Clinton Foundation." -- Apparently, this is not going away too soon for Stephanopoulos and/or ABC... and rightfully so..ironically, Stephanopoulos has damaged himself while gaining no loyalty from the Clintons. What's $75K over 3 years to people who are garnering bribe donations in the 100s of millions of dollars and have lobbyist willing to give them upwards of $500,000.00 to cajole at a dinner or meeting? Stephanopoulos has stepped in,... and wallowed in his own poopoo..
---
Online headline: "Fears raised over Tsarnaev death penalty verdict * Experts are worried that the convicted marathon bomber's eventual execution may spark unintended consequences." -- Good grief.. if "experts" are concerned that executing Bomber Brother 2 will make him a martyr, the "experts" have definitely not analyzed that not executing him promptly makes the US look even more like the wussy Obamageddon has shown himself to be which has encouraged Islamic terrorist activities!
---
Online story: "Al Sharpton's daughter reportedly is suing New York City for $5 million after she fell in the street and sprained her ankle. * According to the New York Post, Dominique Sharpton, 28, says in court records she was "severely injured, bruised and wounded" after tripping on uneven pavement in downtown Manhattan in October. * Sharpton says she still suffers from the injury, the Post reported. * She reportedly was pictured in a walking boot in the weeks following the fall, but participated in a National Action Network March in December and was pictured climbing a ladder to decorate a Christmas tree." -- Good grief.. like father, like daughter.. no visible means of support other than stealing from the government.. Pay your taxes
Al Sharlatan... which are suspiciously near the same amount your daughter is suing for...
---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Nearly two decades ago, the political commentator Fareed Zakaria wrote a prophetic article called "The Rise of the Illiberal Democracy," in which he worried about the rise of popular autocrats with little regard for the rule of law and civil liberties. Governments may be elected in free and fair elections, he wrote, and yet routinely violate their citizens' basic rights." -- Good grief.. Zakaria was talking about 3rd World and Socialist counties, but has basically described the Obamageddon game plan... taking down the independence of middle-America to finance dependent America which expands the number of dependent Americans.
---
Online story: "In a surprise announcement coming nine months after police in riot gear dispelled racially charged protests, President Barack Obama is banning the federal government from providing some military-style equipment to local departments and putting stricter controls on other weapons and gear distributed to law enforcement." -- You know.. this is actually a blessing.. remember when Obamageddon first started campaigning, and said he wanted to create a 250,000 man civilian force... my thoughts were he wanted to create a personal army that would be equipped to handle a demoralized, downsized, and under armed US military force, because he feared that his plans might create a coupe movement, and the US military would fight for the Constitutional rights of the people rather than the whims of a rogue president. This just confirms Obamageddon had Zakaria's insight in mind.
---
I can't speak for the validity of the comments following this mention, but a severed goat's head was actually delivered to the security gate, Attn: Tom Ricketts, Cub owner, at Wrigley Field. The rest could be true even if it is actually a bit of wishful imagination:
Last night I was driving home from school and listening to a sports call-in program carried by WGN in Chicago on SIRIUS. * People were calling in, very upset, about the goat's head that was sent to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Wrigley Field. * Then some guy called in from here in Mississippi and said, "Why are you people so upset 'cause someone sent a goat's head to Wrigley Field? Aren't you Chicagoans the same guys that sent a horse's ass to the White House?"

---
You know, when mainstream media turns attention to promoting White House economic data, why does it have mental blanks about the Billions of dollars lost on the bailout of GM and Chrysler, and the loss of Billions on green energy companies who's principles made donations to his campaign?
---
How do you describe Democrats to your children? They support Obamageddon trading terrorists back to the enemy, but don't support free trade?
---
How do you explain Democrats to your children? They want higher minimum wages, but want taxes so high that businesses cannot afford such higher minimum wages?
---
Online headline: "SNL Continues Its Hot Streak of Trashing Hillary Clinton: 'They Don't Like You... And Never Will' -- You know,, what's sad is that all the humorous response now will have dissipated by the time the first primaries are held and Hillewinsky's past will be a yawn.. Let's wait til next year before we overdose on Hillewinsky so voters in primaries will at least remember how incompetent she is..
---
Online headline: "ISIS Threatens to 'Behead' Obama" -- Hmmm.. that would be a dilemma for even the most terroristic jihadist.. which end does he cut off.. Obamageddon spews diarrhea form both ends.
---
I'm gonna copy a paragraph from an online sensational court response by a Florida women to a judge. A lot lead ups to page 7 of her response, but this paragraph is one we should never gloss over or diminish its importance:
"The federal government was not created to replace the state governmentsby any means. It was created to tend to matters that fell without the sovereignty of any one particular state. After having been oppressed by the King of Great Britain, is that what the founding fathers did? They went through hell and fought the War for Independence just to relinquish their citizens to the federal government and set it up to be more oppressive than the King of Great Britain could have ever been? I think not.
---
Online story: "Espousing tax reform and regulatory reform as keys to boosting growth and opportunity in the United States, Senator Ted Cruz called for “a simple flat tax” on income that would “let every American fill out their taxes on a postcard, and when we do that, we need to abolish the IRS.” * Then, jokingly suggesting that the 90,000 IRS workers who would be out of a job should be put to work guarding America’s southern border, Cruz added, “Just imagine that the first thing you see [if you’re crossing the border from Mexico into the United States] is 90,000 IRS agents. You’d turn around and run home, too.” -- HmmmCruz has overlooked one important detail.. how are IRS agents that can't keep up with their e-mails gonna keep up with illegal males?
---
Online headline/story: "As they push ‘religious liberty’ bill, Georgia Republicans elect first gay state officer *
Yes, Teasley knew that McCord is gay, as did many others, including Virginia Galloway, a spokesman for Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition. “The state party has spoken. I’m good with that,” she said. “The great thing about [McCord] is that he doesn’t make a big deal of it.” * But it is unlikely that McCord’s sexual orientation was widely known among delegates in the convention. It was never mentioned in speeches on the floor, nor did McCord dwell on it in his campaign literature." --

"The great thing about [McCord] is that he doesn’t make a big deal of it"? Yes.. as it should be.. even heterosexuals should not be braggadocios about their lifestyles, particularly in the public arena..
---
L-E headline/story: "Michael's Law aimed at enforcing alcohol rules in Georgia * Gov. Nathan Deal has signed a bill that could force bars — mainly in college towns and rural areas where alcohol laws are often lax — to change their ways or go out of business." -- One more step.. they are readily available so why not required that any establishment.. including grocery stores, that sell alcohol have a driver's license reader connected to cash registers/card processors that can reveal whether the license is real or fake..
---
Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Congratulations to Mayor Tomlinson. She is hard- working, disciplined about spending, forward-looking and always elegant. Glad she is leading us in positive directions." -- Good grief.. has the L-E setup a direct e-mail access line for Soundoff from the Mayoral Office complex?

Jonathan Gruber double-extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Let’s see a show of hands. How many of you would feel safer if guns weren’t so easy to obtain in America?" -- Better yet.. put a sign in your yard that says, "Gun Free Zone".. I'm sure the home invaders would feel better about knowing this..
---
While probably a fun idea,, lack of water ( new meter governors?) sorta doused the fun on the 1000' slide on Saturday.. ironically, I witnessed a Whitewater Raft get stuck on a rock formation at the beginning of a rapid chute just south of the 14th Street Bridge last week. ("film" at 11:00 if you want) - I had the image of a beached whale at the thought of both events
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “A conference is a gathering of people who singly can do nothing, but together can decide that nothing can be done.” — Fred Allen, comedian (1894-1956)." -- Today, we just call that a Democrat Campaign or Obamageddon Cabinet meeting
.

From an L-E guest commentary from uber-liberal Millard Grimes: " A recent poll (and poll results should be questioned) found that 37 percent of registered Republican voters earned less than $50,000 last year and an additional 34 percent earned between $50,000 and $100,000. * These are not the income ranges that most Republican economic policies would seem to attract. For instance, their taxes would scarcely be lowered by the usual Republican promises to lower taxes on the highest income earners" - Hmm .. so Grimes feels that Republican efforts would not help the majority of Republicans in the under $100K income category.. then how come Grimes like the idea of more taxes on the same income group to fund those mot working?
---
From above guest commentary: "What Congress should be talking about is a way to help consumers, not punish them. Perdue, of all senators, should recognize that since he once headed one of the largest dollar store operations in the country whose customers come from the least affluent consumers." -- C'mon Grimes.. most of those customers of dollar stores are probably Republicans making ends meet off their personal income.. it's not Republicans rolling shopping carts loaded with steak up to the cahiers and producing a state issued EBT card in payment.

Pitch Perfect 2.. may just end up in U.S. History books... not just movie history. Remember Reagan's passionate demand to Gorbachev to "tear down that wall"? Well, Pitch Perfect 2 may have torn down the wall of political correctness. I was terrific.. any one, any group, that could be offended was.. but the audience LIKED IT! We laughed out loud... at others.. and at ourselves as our differences and imperfections were placed on the table like melons being setup to be smashed by Gallagher and his Sledge-o-matic. Go.. take your mate, even your in-laws and adult children. Make it a date or family venture. Be prepared to walk out of a movie theater with a smile on your face wondering what the sequel will bring.
---
After seeing that the Clintons have received $25,000,000.00 in "speaking fees" in the last 17 months.. do you wonder, now that it's been disclosed, if George George Stephanopoulos will now stay up at night thinking he looks like a cheapskate in their eyes for only giving $75K? Does Stephanopoulos really think smoozing with the Clintons makes them actually like him better?

Online headline: "Pope calls Palestinian leader "angel of peace" during visit" -- Now we know what that gray smoke is when the Cardinals are voting...
---
Online headline: "First lady speaks out on plans after the White House" -- Hmmm.. I wonder how many one-way tickets will flood the White House mail room?
---
You know, the White House, Department of Justice, and mainstream media have forgotten something police officers around the country.. and especially in the inner cities, are due...they are due respect, admiration, and due process...
---
Online story: "China and the U.S. did not budge Saturday over Beijing’s assertive development in the disputed territories of the South China Sea, with Foreign Minister Wang Ji politely but pointedly dismissing Washington’s push for a diplomatic solution to ease the tensions." -- Good grief.. seriously, does any sane person honestly believe that China,, hell, even Switzerland, wouldn't laugh at any line in the sand drawn by Obamageddon or his reps?
---
Online story: "An alliance of Asian American groups filed a federal complaint Friday against Harvard University, claiming that the school and other Ivy League institutions are using racial quotas to admit students other than high-scoring Asians. * More than 60 Chinese, Indian, Korean and Pakistani groups came together for the complaint, which was filed with the civil rights offices at the Justice and Education departments. The groups are calling for an investigation and say these schools need to stop using racial quotas or racial balancing in admission." -- How ironic.. the DOJ and DOE.. bastions of liberal bias, social diversity, would be exposed as the bigots they really are...
---
Online headline: "New York City councilman seeks to dim skyline at night to save energy" -- Good grief.. just what "the city that never sleeps" needs more darkness for the thugs to enjoy.
---
On CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS,” President Barack Obama said he was most proud of “saving the American economy” and he is”very confident that America is stronger, more prosperous, safer, and more influential today than it was when I took office.” -- "saving the American economy"? "safer"?...more influential"?... Good grief.. in a good economy, no toy store closes, but...F.A.O. Schwarz just announced it's shutting its doors... and as far as "more influential" goes, even North Korea rattles its sabers at Obamageddon, and "safer"... even the White House is putting up spikes on top of its fence, and I'll bet Obamageddon won't allow his daughters to become police officers...
---
Online story: "A prominent attorney admits to taking flags from the graves of soldiers, a move that's sparked both positive reaction and calls for him to be arrested and disbarred. He's also received death threats and hate mail. * The lawyer says his actions are meant to promote unity." -- "to promote unity"? this is about as unifying as the KKK walking through a housing project and stealing all the basketballs.. hey.. if you're going to seek unity, you do not wave a red flag at a bull...
---
Online headline: "James Taylor: Obama Is Greatest President 'Of All Time' -- Hmmm, and whom does James Taylor consider the second greatest and the worst.. it comes down understanding what James Taylor considers a "1" and a "10".. Right now, I'm going to dig my James Taylor 8-tracks out of my closet, and dispose of them..
---
As details come out, it seems that Tom Brady couldn't be shown to do any "deflating" himself, but he did conceal..not produce..emails, do the NFL "convicted" him. Wait a minute.. an IRS exec, and our Secretary of State would not produce their emails and mainstream media could care less..hmmm..Tom Brady for President!
---
Elected versus appointed school boards.. You know..common sense tells us that a person with a passion for "giving back", a person seeking the best interest of his community, a person with servant service as his/her motivation is going to give us more for our money in educating our children than a person who gets paid anything to make the same choices.
---
L-E headline: "State bill removes graduation tests, allows students to get diploma and pursue dreams" -- "allows students to get diploma and pursue dreams"? Good grief.. diplomas need to be EARNED so that students are actually equipped to move on and pursue dreams! 50 years ago, a high school diploma was as respected as most college degrees today, but a diploma given out for social reasons helps no one... especially the "graduate".
---
From above story: ""I'm trying to join the Air Force after I graduate," he said. "And if I couldn't graduate, I wouldn't be able to join at the time that I wanted to." -- Good grief.. you have to be able to fill out the application, and pass the entry test/interviews to into the military.. I remember my days of working retail.. sometimes, I would go to personnel and scan recent applications to see if anyone was available that could handle a new position I was considering.. one such applicant wrote in the "Previous Work Experience" section, "Non... I just been graduated.. " Tell me, would you have considered "him/her" for a position of representing your business to current and potential customers?
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Why do they make seniors take this new Georgia Milestones Test when the results won’t even be known until next fall?" -- Hmmm.. so that student progress can be evaluated as a whole to help make it better for the following graduates?
---
L-E headline: "FBI looks into shattered glass in new twist in derailment" -- Gimmee a break... if it wasn't a bus sized meteor that hit the windshield, a rock of even bullet wouldn't matter.. it's not like something causing a car driver to be startled and jerk the steering wheel so that the car will veer off the road.. trains do not have STEERING WHEELS.. now.. 102 mph in a 55 limit curve probably would send a train off the track.
---
So Egypt has sentence ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi to death.. Hmmm... bet the odds are better in Vegas that Morsi will die a lot sooner than Bomber Brother 2.

L-E's "Thought for Today" : “Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” — William Faulkner, American author (1897-1962)." -- Hmmm.. wow.. and an obvious pariah to be avoided at all cost by the MCSD.. how can encouraging individual achievement be tolerated that would go against the teachings of Marx to make sure no one knows any more than the others... unless of course, some of the others are more equal than the rest.

Online headline: "Boston marathon bomber sentenced to death" -- There's but one question left to ask... what took the jury more than 5 minutes to decide this?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "7 Things You Should Know About The Death Penalty, Even If You Support It" -- Hmmm, aside from the mantra liberal reasons against the death penalty.. here are two more reasons that should be included in this lib rant.. 1 - it's not used enough, and 2 - too much time elapses between sentences and results.. Ironically, this "report" was published in connection with Bomber Brother 2's sentence, and the libs reason #1 is "We're likely putting innocent people to death.".. Yeah, right...
---
Online story: "The Amtrak train that derailed Tuesday, killing eight people and injuring more than 200, may have been struck in the windshield by an object, possibly a rock or bullet, before it careened off the tracks," -- Hmmm.. this excuse sounds like something Jon Lovitz would use in a SNL skit... "yeah..that's the ticket", but unless "an object" had been a meteor, I cannot see it having any effect on a train's stability. It's not like the driver could have "jerked the steering wheel" in a sudden reaction. My bet is still on excessive speed in a curve..
---
Online story: "Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton reported Friday they earned more than $25 million combined in speaking fees since January 2014." -- Hmmm... must be nice to be "dead broke" and unemployed...Oh... and how does that compare with what their lowest paid employee made?
---
F.A.O. Schwarz is closing its 5Th Ave NYC icon location.. What a shame.. we got to take our daughters there in 2002, so they will have that memory (plus pictures) to remember.. it's citing the high and rising costs of running the retail space as the reason... but.. toy stores don't close doing good economic times.. This will be another nail in Obamageddon's legacy coffin.... wish it was the final one.
---
Online headline: "Obama speaks out on 'rift' between police and citizens" -- "speaks out on rift"? Obamageddon IS the rift!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "UN Issues Scathing Assessment of U.S. Human Rights Record" -- Hmmm.. I tell you what.. why doesn't the UN set up a border operation to stop illegals crossing illegally into out "horror house", the contract with individual state to come in and remove existing illegals back to the utopian countries they came from...
---
Online story: "ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos apologized Friday to his viewers for his failure to disclose $75,000 in gifts he made to the Clinton Foundation while he was covering Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and foundation controversies." -- "apologized... for failure to disclose"? He should be apologizing BECAUSE he gave them something...
---
You know.. I'd be real interested in seeing George Stephanopoulos' donations to other charitable organizations focused on poverty and 3rd world counties' health issues...over the past 20 years...
---
L-E headline: "Seven principal changes on Muscogee County School Board agenda" -- Ooops. my bad.. well, any way, maybe next meetings agenda will be about "seven PRINCIPLE changes"..
---
You know.. I'm really not a proponent of the state taking over any of our schools.. the state's (as well as the federal's) influence is built into the system already.. what I would like to see is an appointed school board again.. that way.. if a current member wanted a second or third appointment, he/she would have to show the Grand Jury how he/she has been effective for the general education of our children.
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double (well, the NBA uses this term) extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " After years of watching and sitting on either side of the fence from time to time, I decided that it’s impossible to have a conservative form of government and freedom at the same time." -- Good grief... a conservative form of government is the ONLY kind of government that can guarantee our freedom.. we have to do something... fast.. about public education.. it seems educators have been serving Kool-Aid in class as well.
---
A "gets it" L-E "soundoff": " I’m still waiting for documented proof from “income inequality” whiners (Millard Grimes, Clinton, Obama, etc.), that they have distributed all their personal assets, over median family wealth, to the poor." -- Hey, don't leave Gates and Buffett out of the mix...
---
Another "get it" L-E "soundoff": " Instead of “No Justice! No Peace!” try “No Crime! No police!” -- -- hmmm.. pretty much self-explanatory....
---
L-E story: "Part of the erotic movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” was shown in a West Virginia high school classroom this week after students convinced their teacher to let them watch it as a reward for good work.
* The Charleston Daily Mail reports that the teacher apparently didn’t know what the film was about. * Hampshire High principal Jeff Woofter says the film was shut down after 10 minutes when an assistant principal walked by and saw what they were watching" -- "teacher apparently didn't know what the film was about"? ...Right off we know this is lie.. I have... won't for that matter.. read the book nor seen the movie.. but I know it's not what I want to watch with my wife, much less my young adult children.. but the giveaway is that the movie was showing for 10 minutes when the assistant-principal saw it, so how did the teacher not see in the 9 minutes/59 seconds prior to the assistant-principal walking by?
---
You know.. in the above story, it was stated that "It is unclear if the students or teacher will face disciplinary action.".. you got to be kidding me..
---

This ad ran in today's edition of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer:
"all the allotted grant funds have been expended to assist thousands of residents in Muscogee County" - Excuse me.. seems like some money was still available to run this ad.. I wonder how this can possibly be considered an expenditure that assists those in need?

Online headline: "'King of the Blues' B.B. King has died at age 89" -- A moment... a long moment of refection and warm memories.

B.B. King... died... not the Boo Boo King in the White House.. we won't have memories .. warm or otherwise.. of him until January 2017.
---
You know,, what's really sad is that if Hillewinsky wins in 2016, we might miss Obamageddon by 2018....nah...
---
Online headline: "Official: Amount of money VA wastes is 'staggering' * A memo on Thursday revealed the department spends at least $5 billion yearly on illegal purchases, exposing it to 'fraud, waste and abuse." -- How disgusting... Since 2001, 37,000+ US military men and women have been killed or wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq.. at $5,000,000,000.00 wasted by the VA annually, that's $30,000,000,000.00 in the 6 years of Obamageddon calling the shots. That's over $800,000.00 per killed or wounded soldier that the VA has wasted under Obamageddon alone. After all of those involved are fired, all new purchasers should be HQ'd in an office building overlooking Arlington National Cemetery where both buyers and sellers must see visual proof of men and women who sacrificed their all for the USA. Maybe the guilt of cheating them will work better than just the honor system.
---
Online headline: "Gulf tensions rise as Iran fires shots at tanker" -- Looks like Iran has crossed another red line drawn by Obamageddon....we need a man in the White House as soon as possible!
---
Online headline: "Jobless Claims Near 15-Year Low" -- Whoa... not so fast with the celebrations... 264,000 last week is still on an annual rate of over 13 MILLION.. and don't forget, we are at an all time high of the number of adults not working/not looking for work in history plus only 44% of working adults are doing so 30 or more hours per week.

While a white woman principal in a GA high school got fired for her "racially insensitive" remarks, an incoming black woman assistant professor of sociology and African-American studies Boston U has been given a pass for "indelicate" tweets blasting white men. She tweeted in recent weeks that "white masculinity" is THE problem for america’s (sic) colleges, that white men are a "problem population,” and that “Every MLK week I commit myself to not spending a dime in white-owned businesses." Her soon-to-be boss, Boston University president Robert Brown, a white male, responded, "“We are disappointed and concerned by statements that reduce individuals to stereotypes on the basis of a broad category such as sex, race, or ethnicity," * Brown wrote in a blast e-mail to the "Boston University community." "I believe Dr. Grundy’s remarks fit this characterization,” * Then Brown said in a statement. * Boston University says no action will be taken against Grundy, saying that the tweets are her free speech. She will start working at the university in June." -- Forget the bias of describing one remark as "racially insensitive" and the other as "indelicate", will someone ask Dr Brown whether the GA high school principal has a right to free speech as well?
---
Online story: "A New Jersey public school teacher who instructed her third-grade students to write “get well” letters to a convicted cop killer was fired at a raucous school board meeting that stretched into the wee hours of Wednesday morning, despite her pleas that “there’s a community behind me.” -- Good grief.. well her "community" needs a swift kick in the ass! Wanna bet whether Al Sharlatan is in her "community"?
---
Online story: "JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – School officials say two students have been shot on a school bus in Florida. * Both victims were taken to the hospital, and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the injuries are not life-threatening * Duval County Public Schools spokeswoman Tia Ford says two people fired shots at the school bus. She says it is not clear if the people who fired the shots were students or adults. The suspects are described as black males in their late teens, one of them shirtless, according to the Sheriff's Office. * Ford says the bus serves three alternative educational schools in the area of the shooting." -- Two teens firing shots at a bus that services "alternative" schools... wonder if any of the suspects or wounded could have looked like Obamageddon's "son"? Hey, Al Sharlatan... hey, NAACP... where are you! To boot.. this is not the only school bus shooting in Jacksonville in the last 6 months. A 16 year-old was shot and killed in December.
---
Soapbox moment: "Since a new SPLOST was passed, and most, if not all, projects were guesstimates at best, then when each project is started under the general umbrella of the funds sought, an audit of what is actually spent should be done. If an audit shows such a project was done under the guesstimate, then the unused funds should be escrowed rather than spent on other things, and such amounts then be used to reduce the next years property tax. For example, when slab based, metal buildings for wrestling and weight rooms are guesstimated at $312.00 a square foot, then there should be plenty unspent.. and if not, there should be a complete audit of where the money actually went.
---
Online story: "ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos never disclosed to his network -- or viewers -- $75,000 in contributions he made to the Clinton Foundation in recent years, even as he waded into covering Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and foundation controversies." -- Why is this man still employed by ABC? Sad thing is that I really don't believe other mediaites or executives at ABC didn't know this.. it's a ego thing.. now, did he deduct the donations on his tax forms?
---
L-E headline/story: "Construction crew working on improving Chattahoochee whitewater wave shaper * Scott Bridge Co. was the original construction company to build the nearly $25 million course that was created by the demolition of the Eagle & Phenix and City Mills dams. The work that is being done now will cost more than $50,000, Bishop said. It should be completed by the end of next week. * In addition to that work, three stadium-style lights have been installed on the Eagle & Phenix powerhouse, allowing the kayakers to frolic in the river past dark. The lights have been operating until 11 p.m." -- Well, neither the replacement wave-breaker nor light work cost were disclosed as to who (like we don't know) is paying there's another issue. Adding stadium lights for night kayaking? I'm sure this is appreciated by the wildlife...NOT!..Oh, what's next. A kayak-through beverage station ?

Obamageddon still feels that people who are successful in business ..successful in life...are merely "life's lottery winners" . you know, coming from someone who gas never held a job responsible for producing a revenue stream that pays the salary of himself and his employees, I guess people who have earned their successes do look like they are "lottery winners" to people who have no ethics..work nor moral.
---
You know.. one thing must haunt.. well, maybe "haunt" isn't the best word, but one thing must be on every person's mind (the women, the fathers, the medical personnel) at some time in their life who decides to participate in an abortion: What was God's plan for this child? It could have been that a woman was chosen to birth a baby for another couple to raise...
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "You need to remember that Mary and Joseph, and later Jesus, chose to ride a donkey, not an elephant, everywhere they went. That tells me a lot." -- Well, there they go again.. the donkeys had no clue where they were, where they were going, or who they were carrying...
---

L-E's " Thought for Today, “Behavior is what a man does, not what he thinks, feels, or believes.” — Emily Dickinson, American poet (born 1830, died this date in 1886)." -- Hmmm this even better advice when you apply it when considering whether to re-elect a politician.. especially a Democrat because they never plan to complete the promises they make to buy votes.

Soapbox Moment: These lynch mod mentality responses to "police abuse":
Crime is Crime...period, While abuse by police should not .. must not, be tolerated.. neither should the police be victimized because they wear "blue" . They have families they wish to return home to at the end of their day. They have a sworn duty to uphold the laws of their nation, state, community, and God. They are humans as well, and have human frailties and limitations, too. They are necessary because of people who will not restrain themselves within the expectations of their communities. They have an expectation that people respect the badge/uniform they wear. They have a right to expect community support from the citizens they work for. They should get the benefit of the doubt when faced with the possible loss of their own lives versus criminals violating laws. This is what should not be diverted from the issue!

Take Baltimore.. since the end of the curfew following Freddie Gray riots.. since the Baltimore Attorney General arrested the police officers involved, since the presidential emissary, the DOJ's Attorney General joined in the circus, there have been 50 +/- shootings (10 each this past Thursday and Sunday alone) NOT involving police officers in any capacity. Where is the mainstream media coverage.. where is the Attorney General's and DOJ's outrage? Where is Al Sharlatan? Where are the arrests? Where is there a sign of Baltimore citizens ready to start voting for accountable leadership? Dream on...
---
You know...there are 2 places I'd actually like to see Al Sharlatan show up with his "Black Lives Matter" signs/protesters... on the streets of south Chicago, and at Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinics anywhere.
---
When Obamageddon opens his Presidential Library in south Chicago... don't you reckon all borrowers will have to have "photo IDs"? Why not voters?
---
There's a poll from a group that shows Harriet Tubman is its choice to replace Andrew Jackson,, PRESIDENT Andrew Jackson, on the US $20.00 bill. I have another solution.. keep Jackson on the $20.00, but create a $19.99 bill for a woman's picture.. Women who hesitate to break $20.00 bills would flinch at doing so with a $19.99 one.. it would be like it's on sale.

I think there needs to be a referendum on whether Tom Brady should be suspended from the NFL, versus Hillewinsky being suspended from any more federal jobs.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Report: Amtrak train didn't have safety system" -- Good grief.. nothing the government dreams up or controls have safety systems.. why would AMTRAK be any different?
---
You know..AMTRAK is suppose to be a mass transit form of transportation for the masses...how come it has First Class tickets/cars? Are some of the masses more equal than others?
---
You know... First Class accommodations on AMTRAK seem to be conflictory seeing as AMTRAK does not run at a profit, and taxpayers are forced to supplement First Class riders.

AP Online story: " Senators reached a deal Wednesday to move forward on President Barack Obama's trade agenda only one day after Democrats embarrassed him by blocking it. * Lawmakers said roughly a dozen Senate Democrats agreed to let full-blown debate begin after both parties' leaders consented to tweak the package that failed on a procedural vote Tuesday. Those Democrats' votes were the difference between blocking the agenda and letting it move ahead." -- "Democrats' votes were the difference between blocking the agenda and letting it move ahead"? I'm almost speechless.. some news source other than Fox has stated what has always been the case.. Democrats, whether in the minority or majority have always been the party of gridlock and stumbling blocks when it comes to helping our economy to grow and jobs to be created.
---
Online headline/story: "House approves bill banning late-term (partial birth) abortion * The near party-line 242-184 vote marked a victory for anti-abortion lawmakers and organizations." -- Marked a victory for whom? This just makes infanticide the criminal act of what it is.. murder. I do not think abortion in general are a legislative moral issue because its a personal relationship issue for people with God, but God spoke specifically about murder. Snuffing life from a fully developed, ready for life baby is a crime of murder.
---
Online headline: "Marvel debuts new female Thor" -- Good grief.. what a gender fiasco.. THOR is and always should be a male.. Years ago, when softball was introduced in the Little League program I was involved with, the Board voted to use the same team names that the baseball teams used.. I had no problems with names like Foxes, Cubs, or even Tigers.. but I was a little skeptical about calling our little girls Lions, Beavers, or Rams.

Spring Break for March 2016, Panama City, FL will curtail alcohol on the beach, drinking in parking lots, and shutting down alcoholic sales at 2:00 AM. Hmmm..Teens will flock to PC, and Panama City coffers will soar on alcohol arrest fines.

Online story: "On the campaign trail, Hillary threw out a line that was such total and complete bullshit that even The Washington Post had to call her on it. * At a roundtable discussion in North Las Vegas, Clinton made the claim that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than “some corporations. * Said Hillary: "The facts are really clear, we know how much people who are working hard contribute to our economy both in what they buy and what they pay in taxes. In fact, in New York, which I know a little bit about because I represented it for eight years and I live there now, our undocumented workers in New York pay more in taxes that some of the biggest corporations in New York.” -- Good grief.. talk about Hillewinsky not being in touch with anything.. as we speak.. NY is trying to attract businesses back to NY by offering them 10 years of "no taxes" because they left after being obsessively and excessively taxed. Her only aspect of truth is that corporations who come or comeback now will get a tax break to do so, but those corporations will be bringing jobs. Hillewinsky claiming illegals pay more taxes than THOSE corporations is akin to her husband parsing the word "is" as used in his status of "is having sex with his intern".. He could "truthfully" say "No" if the reporter was referring to whether "he is" at that very moment he's in the press conference.
---
You know.. the only difference between Bill and Hillewinsky is that Bill has a way to make himself likable..
---
Online story: "The Food and Drug Administration is proposing relaxing its blood donation guidelines for gay and bisexual men. * Currently, there is a full ban of donated blood from men who have had sex with men. * Under the proposed recommendations, gay men can donate after abstaining from sex for a year." -- You know.. personally, I think that if blood is properly tested and screened, there should be no problems, but when a person says "I was born this/that way", its a medical claim, and if true, what kind of DNA is in such blood cells. Until that is determined one way or the other, I think the ban should stay in effect.

Yesterday, my bride and I picked up our 3 year old granddaughter at school and took her to the Columbus Museum. We got there at 4:45 and were met with a door signage that the Museum Closed at 5:00. Undaunted, we went in and as we passed through the lobby receptionist, we acknowledged the time and that we would only be there a few minutes as that would about as long as our 3-year old's attention span would tolerate a Museum tour. We went directly to the Chattahoochee Legacy door, and as we approached, a security man came out the door and shut it back before we could go in. When asked if it was open, he said that the museum was closing at 5:00 so the Legacy was closed so that staff could leave at 5:00. There were still 12 minutes +/- 1 until then, and 10 minutes would have been plenty with our granddaughter. To be honest, I do think closing a public museum before most people get off work is not a very inclusive policy, but the main thing I am upset about is that employees were shutting down before 5:00.
If it had been my business, and I observed an employee telling a customer he/she wasn't going to show them anything because he/she was going to be ready to leave promptly once the business closed in 10 or so minutes, I'd have fired the person on the spot.
---
Obamageddon just labeled Fox News as a pariah...not in such word, but in claiming Fox basically hunts down and finds poor people who complain about the government . Good grief..Obamageddon's narcissism has reached a new depth (or maybe a lack of depth). Even if he points his finger of blame at himself in a mirror, his finger would still point at someone else.

L-E headline/story: "Wine Tasting Mingle to benefit Homeless Resource Network * It is a way to have fun and help a good cause." -- You know.. while I'm sure everyone's hearts are in the right place, it does seem insensitive to highlight one of the addictions that contribute to many of the situations that cause homelessness.
