Online headline: "Iraq official: 500 killed, 8,000 fled as Ramadi fell to
IS" -- You know.. US air support isnot going to stop ISIS.. ISIS knows.. KNOWS,
Obamageddon is not going to stand strong at any "line drawn in the sand", and
without the fear of American "boots" and know-how being deployed, ISIS has no
fear of outside military intervention from the UN or other individual allies.
And which Islamist leader is going to challenge another Islamist
terrorist?

Online story: "Amtrak officials said Sunday that trains along the busy
Northeast Corridor from Washington to Boston would resume service Monday in
"complete compliance" with federal safety orders following last week's deadly
derailment.* Federal regulators on Saturday ordered Amtrak to expand use of a
speed-control system long in effect for southbound trains near the crash site to
northbound trains in the same area. * Trains going through that section of track
will be governed by the system, which alerts engineers to slow down when their
trains go too fast and automatically applies the brakes if the train continues
to speed." -- "a system that alerts drivers"? You know.. having a system of
"alert" to drivers, but depending on the drivers to manually engage for some
undefined period of time is akin to teaching your 15 year old how to brake
safely and smoothly on the first "lesson". Then you have to worry for the next 5
or 6 years whether your young adult will drive safely without you in the
passenger seat. All this has been done is to bolster the union stranglehold on
"jobs". Remember when trains were coal fueled? Remember when diesel fuel
replaced coal? Remember how unions demanded that coal attendants jobs were kept,
even though there was no need for them? Well, basically, there's no need for
train engineers today.. Electronic controls and rail sensors have been able to
run trains over rail systems for years, and most, if not all train wrecks could
have been avoided altogether (exception being when cars/trucks/buses do foolish
things at crossings).

Online headline: "Kerry slams North Korea for 'horrific conduct'" -- That
took "balls"... NOT! When, if ever, is Kerry, or any Obamageddon emissary going
to slam ISIS or Iran or Boko Haram or Russia .. or for that matter Harry Reid
& Nancy Pelosi and our own DOJ, for "horrific conduct"?

Local THEFT alert! It was bad enough in January when merchants did not
adjust their cash register software to reflect the drop in sales tax when the
2009 SPLOST was retired, but I found one last night that was still charging 8%
sales taxes. "Marble Slab Creamery" at Columbus Park Crossing still has its
register configured to cheat us out of our money.. It's not like they don't know
how to reprogram the registers, as all the merchandise price increases of late
have been fixed, but 4 and a half months later, Marble Slab is still stealing
that extra 1% straight from consumer pockets! Oh.. you can count on it not
getting into the state or local tax coffers as sales tax reporting is figured
out separately by the 20th of each following month based on merchandise sales..
the illegally collected-at-the-point-of-sales extra 1% is going straight into
owners's pockets as undocumented revenue. If you order a $4.99 cone there, the
total should be $5.34, not $5.39,, that nickel is the difference between being
charged 7%, not 8%. I bought two cones and challenged the cashier.. I got my
dime back..

Online headline: "Records offer murky view into Affleck's ancestor and
slavery" -- Good grief.. it's a liberals nightmare to be confronted with their
ancestors! People in America that have ancestral roots here before the 1850's
probably have a good chance that someone in their family owned a slave.. that
includes some successful blacks as well as whites..the difference then was, even
though it was a morals issue, it was legal. Now it's illegal, has been for 150
+/- years.. but laws are pretty specific about not being retro-enforceable. Time
has shaped us, even corrected us, and it''s time now that we accept the past and
move on with the future.

Online headline: "Can ABC News' chief anchor repair his reputation? *
George Stephanopoulos apologized to his viewers recently for failing to disclose
$75,000 in contributions to the Clinton Foundation." -- Apparently, this is not
going away too soon for Stephanopoulos and/or ABC... and rightfully
so..ironically, Stephanopoulos has damaged himself while gaining no loyalty from
the Clintons. What's $75K over 3 years to people who are garnering bribe
donations in the 100s of millions of dollars and have lobbyist willing to give
them upwards of $500,000.00 to cajole at a dinner or meeting? Stephanopoulos has
stepped in,... and wallowed in his own poopoo..

Online headline: "Fears raised over Tsarnaev death penalty verdict *
Experts are worried that the convicted marathon bomber's eventual execution may
spark unintended consequences." -- Good grief.. if "experts" are concerned that
executing Bomber Brother 2 will make him a martyr, the "experts" have definitely
not analyzed that not executing him promptly makes the US look even more like
the wussy Obamageddon has shown himself to be which has encouraged Islamic
terrorist activities!

Online story: "Al Sharpton's daughter reportedly is suing New York City for
$5 million after she fell in the street and sprained her ankle. * According to
the New York Post, Dominique Sharpton, 28, says in court records she was
"severely injured, bruised and wounded" after tripping on uneven pavement in
downtown Manhattan in October. * Sharpton says she still suffers from the
injury, the Post reported. * She reportedly was pictured in a walking boot in
the weeks following the fall, but participated in a National Action Network
March in December and was pictured climbing a ladder to decorate a Christmas
tree." -- Good grief.. like father, like daughter.. no visible means of support
other than stealing from the government.. Pay your taxes
Al Sharlatan... which are suspiciously near the same amount your daughter
is suing for...

HuffPOOPOO story: "Nearly two decades ago, the political commentator Fareed
Zakaria wrote a prophetic article called "The Rise of the Illiberal Democracy,"
in which he worried about the rise of popular autocrats with little regard for
the rule of law and civil liberties. Governments may be elected in free and fair
elections, he wrote, and yet routinely violate their citizens' basic rights." --
Good grief.. Zakaria was talking about 3rd World and Socialist counties, but has
basically described the Obamageddon game plan... taking down the independence of
middle-America to finance dependent America which expands the number of
dependent Americans.

Online story: "In a surprise announcement coming nine months after police
in riot gear dispelled racially charged protests, President Barack Obama is
banning the federal government from providing some military-style equipment to
local departments and putting stricter controls on other weapons and gear
distributed to law enforcement." -- You know.. this is actually a blessing..
remember when Obamageddon first started campaigning, and said he wanted to
create a 250,000 man civilian force... my thoughts were he wanted to create a
personal army that would be equipped to handle a demoralized, downsized, and
under armed US military force, because he feared that his plans might create a
coupe movement, and the US military would fight for the Constitutional rights of
the people rather than the whims of a rogue president. This just confirms
Obamageddon had Zakaria's insight in mind.

I can't speak for the validity of the comments following this mention, but
a severed goat's head was actually delivered to the security gate, Attn: Tom
Ricketts, Cub owner, at Wrigley Field. The rest could be true even if it is
actually a bit of wishful imagination:
Last night I was driving home from school and listening to a sports call-in
program carried by WGN in Chicago on SIRIUS. * People were calling in, very
upset, about the goat's head that was sent to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Wrigley
Field. * Then some guy called in from here in Mississippi and said, "Why are you
people so upset 'cause someone sent a goat's head to Wrigley Field? Aren't you
Chicagoans the same guys that sent a horse's ass to the White House?"
---
---
You know, when mainstream media turns attention to promoting White House
economic data, why does it have mental blanks about the Billions of dollars lost
on the bailout of GM and Chrysler, and the loss of Billions on green energy
companies who's principles made donations to his campaign?
---
How do you describe Democrats to your children? They support Obamageddon
trading terrorists back to the enemy, but don't support free trade?
---
How do you explain Democrats to your children? They want higher minimum
wages, but want taxes so high that businesses cannot afford such higher minimum
wages?

Online headline: "SNL Continues Its Hot Streak of Trashing Hillary Clinton:
'They Don't Like You... And Never Will' -- You know,, what's sad is that all the
humorous response now will have dissipated by the time the first primaries are
held and Hillewinsky's past will be a yawn.. Let's wait til next year before we
overdose on Hillewinsky so voters in primaries will at least remember how
incompetent she is..
---
Online headline: "ISIS Threatens to 'Behead' Obama" -- Hmmm.. that would be
a dilemma for even the most terroristic jihadist.. which end does he cut off..
Obamageddon spews diarrhea form both ends.

I'm gonna copy a paragraph from an online sensational court response by a
Florida women to a judge. A lot lead ups to page 7 of her response, but this
paragraph is one we should never gloss over or diminish its importance:
"The federal government was not created to replace the state governmentsby
any means. It was created to tend to matters that fell without the sovereignty
of any one particular state. After having been oppressed by the King of Great
Britain, is that what the founding fathers did? They went through hell and
fought the War for Independence just to relinquish their citizens to the federal
government and set it up to be more oppressive than the King of Great Britain
could have ever been? I think not.

Online story: "Espousing tax reform and regulatory reform as keys to
boosting growth and opportunity in the United States, Senator Ted Cruz called
for “a simple flat tax” on income that would “let every American fill out their
taxes on a postcard, and when we do that, we need to abolish the IRS.” * Then,
jokingly suggesting that the 90,000 IRS workers who would be out of a job should
be put to work guarding America’s southern border, Cruz added, “Just imagine
that the first thing you see [if you’re crossing the border from Mexico into the
United States] is 90,000 IRS agents. You’d turn around and run home, too.” --
HmmmCruz has overlooked one important detail.. how are IRS agents that can't
keep up with their e-mails gonna keep up with illegal males?

Online headline/story: "As they push ‘religious liberty’ bill, Georgia
Republicans elect first gay state officer *
Yes, Teasley knew that McCord is gay, as did many others, including
Virginia Galloway, a spokesman for Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition.
“The state party has spoken. I’m good with that,” she said. “The great thing
about [McCord] is that he doesn’t make a big deal of it.” * But it is unlikely
that McCord’s sexual orientation was widely known among delegates in the
convention. It was never mentioned in speeches on the floor, nor did McCord
dwell on it in his campaign literature." --
"The great thing about [McCord] is that he doesn’t make a big deal of it"? Yes.. as it should be.. even heterosexuals should not be braggadocios about their lifestyles, particularly in the public arena..

L-E headline/story: "Michael's Law aimed at enforcing alcohol rules in
Georgia * Gov. Nathan Deal has signed a bill that could force bars — mainly in
college towns and rural areas where alcohol laws are often lax — to change their
ways or go out of business." -- One more step.. they are readily available so
why not required that any establishment.. including grocery stores, that sell
alcohol have a driver's license reader connected to cash registers/card
processors that can reveal whether the license is real or fake..

Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Congratulations to Mayor Tomlinson.
She is hard- working, disciplined about spending, forward-looking and always
elegant. Glad she is leading us in positive directions." -- Good grief.. has the
L-E setup a direct e-mail access line for Soundoff from the Mayoral Office
complex?
---
Jonathan Gruber double-extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Let’s see a show
of hands. How many of you would feel safer if guns weren’t so easy to obtain in
America?" -- Better yet.. put a sign in your yard that says, "Gun Free Zone"..
I'm sure the home invaders would feel better about knowing this..

While probably a fun idea,, lack of water ( new meter governors?) sorta
doused the fun on the 1000' slide on Saturday.. ironically, I witnessed a
Whitewater Raft get stuck on a rock formation at the beginning of a rapid chute
just south of the 14th Street Bridge last week. ("film" at 11:00 if you want) -
I had the image of a beached whale at the thought of both events
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “A conference is a gathering of people who
singly can do nothing, but together can decide that nothing can be done.” — Fred
Allen, comedian (1894-1956)." -- Today, we just call that a Democrat Campaign or
Obamageddon Cabinet meeting
.

From an L-E guest commentary from uber-liberal Millard Grimes: " A recent
poll (and poll results should be questioned) found that 37 percent of registered
Republican voters earned less than $50,000 last year and an additional 34
percent earned between $50,000 and $100,000. * These are not the income ranges
that most Republican economic policies would seem to attract. For instance,
their taxes would scarcely be lowered by the usual Republican promises to lower
taxes on the highest income earners" - Hmm .. so Grimes feels that Republican
efforts would not help the majority of Republicans in the under $100K income
category.. then how come Grimes like the idea of more taxes on the same income
group to fund those mot working?
---
From above guest commentary: "What Congress should be talking about is a
way to help consumers, not punish them. Perdue, of all senators, should
recognize that since he once headed one of the largest dollar store operations
in the country whose customers come from the least affluent consumers." -- C'mon
Grimes.. most of those customers of dollar stores are probably Republicans
making ends meet off their personal income.. it's not Republicans rolling
shopping carts loaded with steak up to the cahiers and producing a state issued
EBT card in payment.
