This was a local Columbus event Sunday evening, but it was driven by a unified love of Christ worldwide.. First Baptist Church of Columbus presented it inaugural "A Night in Bethlehem". Scenes were stationed along 3rd Avenue and 12th Street depicting the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ, and Columbus was invited to experience it visually via a family and safety-oriented drive by protocol complete with audio via FM radio. My bride and I participated as the "inn Keepers" (the Holy-day Inn) and the world got a glimpse of our month old grandson representing Jesus... with his "angelic" big sister hovering close-by to keep him safe and protected. God is good.

So "nothing" was out of the ordinary in the Atlanta area vote counting arena? Hmmm How about some figures that will raise an eyebrow or two.. In the Atlanta area counties of Fulton, Cobb, Dekalb, and Gwinnett, there were 1,153,044 votes counted for Biden yet those 4 counties only had 1,106,086 votes counted vote Jon Ossoff which means that 46,958 Biden counted ballots did not have Ossoff votes counted.. Seriously, does anyone believe that "count" was honest..especially when Biden is given an 11,000 vote lead, and Ossoff had 88,000 less than Perdue statewide?

 

In GA, statewide, there was only about 800 votes difference in Trump's and Perdue's totals.. while for the Democrats Biden had nearly 100,000 MORE votes counted for him than Ossoff got..

 

GA has 159 counties...only 30 voted for Biden...even less, 29, for Ossoff.

On a Columbus, GA issue.. I've heard that certain South Columbus properties have been "secured" by those aimed on building a gambling facility here.. I would ask how Council "feels" about this... but seeing as the property transaction has been made, my guess is that "enough" Council (as the late Red McDaniel said, "With 6 votes, we can do anything we want) members are on board already.. and their re-election donations have been assured.

I wish I could say "IF" Columbus becomes a gambling center, but the reality is more "WHEN", I'm guessing there will be some slogan and name changes soon following.. One suggestion is "Columbus GA.. What-A-Hoot" to play off the new baseball club's name.. but one that may be more appropriate would be one previously used by what is now Phenix City .. with it's raucous reputation of non-legalized activities, it was known informally by a Biblical reference in the 1830's.. Sodom.
