Let's hear it for Columbus, GA's latest celebrity golfer.. Russell Henley! Russ
just finished tied for 2nd in the FedEx Cup standings just completed in Atlanta
yesterday. A couple tidbits: His bride, Teil, is a celebrity in her own
right... a popular and established art world, and she's one of my
stepdaughters' "First Cousins". And this weekend, a huge
American Junior Golf Association golf tournament, The Russell Henley Junior
Championship, is being held at Green Island Country Club in Columbus GA
featuring 78 of the worlds best 12-19 year old boys and girls golfers. Oh.. and
a reminder that Russ was the 2010 Fred Haskins Collegiate Player of the
year... awarded in the name of Fred Haskins, former teaching golf pro at
Country Club of Columbus Ga.
