On a local Columbus, GA issue...Why is it necessary for "gun permits" in Muscogee County, GA to be "by appointment only", and appointments are booked up into September, and no new applications can be booked until July 5th?  I get the "Soc-Dem government's aspect".. slow down the 2nd Amendment rights of patriots, and especially Soc-Dem government's  desire to get past July 4th when national patriotism is of overall interest, but why the appointments? Obviously, the applicants are law-abiding, so they would have no issue with wearing safety masks during the process.

When will Black Lives Matter realize it is being "used"... George Soros feels "he owns them". This year, Soro's Open Society Foundations are on record with giving Black Lives Matter $33 million dollars this year alone.  (Hmm wonder if any of the frontline BLM followers are getting their fair share?) I also wonder if followers have realized Soros is using them to achieve a Socialist-Democrat government in the US.. THROUGH racism?

Good grief! Land-o-Lakes really started something when it removed its "Native American Maiden" from it's butter products.. now makers of "Aunt Jemima Syrup" and "Uncle Ben's Rice" are replacing their images and names to "correct racism"... "Correct racism?" I grew up with Aunt Jemima loving Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben! I admired Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben! They made and represented great stuff and made me happy. Then I learned that the maker of "Mrs Butterworth's Syrup" is also removing her image because "they" feel she does not represent a "loving grandmother" of today. I feel deflated..I remember  my "loving grandmothers" and the times they spent with us in their kitchens making us "special pancakes" and smothering them with Land-o-Lakes butter and  Aunt Jemima syrup... Hmmm.. will "Log Cabin Syrup" change it's name because a conservative gay political group by that name supports Republicans? Oh.. and did I tell you, I hated that white line on the buses...

"Chop" is now emblazoned everywhere.. wonder if they even considered how "racist" and "insensitive" Native Americans feel "chop" is? You know, if baseball was being played now, instead of being in Seattle,  some of the "CHOP" protesters would be protesting in the Atlanta Braves ballpark.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned how the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer was having such revenue issues that it was soliciting "donations" to keep it viable... I suggested that the L-E do a better job informing Columbus.. in other words, "Earn it!. Now the AJC is running similar ads.. What do the Columbus and Atlanta newspapers trying to do.. convince legislators that they are just as worthy at NPR and PBS so taxpayers must be penalized to keep them in business?
