Having gone to vote in person, and it taking 10 minutes or so to complete the process, it's hard to believe other precincts in Columbus, GA could have the nightmare confusions reported in two of them that caused election officials in the 23 other precincts to be penalized 2 extra hours! My bride and I found the voting process pretty much like the past two-plus decades of using the touch screen with only having to "print out" a paper ballot of the results and walking it across the room on our way out and inserting it into a secured scanner.

Speaking of Election results.. Zeph Baker is now officially over 2 years late to have reported his Campaign Disclosure forms for his 2018 run for Mayor here in Columbus. The State and Local Election offices need so new laws WITH TEETH to make sure of candidate compliance.

The Columbus area Republicans are going to have to start having contested primaries statewide and locally if Columbus wants to survive and improve... Without anything to really draw conservative voters to the local and primary polls when MCSD SPLOSTs are voted on, then, basically, only the liberals have a real say-so on these tax issues which are intentionally put on low turnout election ballots.
