Online headline/story: "Oregon 1st state to decriminalize possession of hard drugs * Police in Oregon can no longer arrest someone for possession of small amounts of heroin, methamphetamine, LSD, oxycodone and other hard drugs as a ballot measure that decriminalized them took effect on Monday. * Instead of facing arrest, those found by law enforcement with personal-use amounts of drugs would face a civil citation, “like a traffic ticket,” and not a criminal citation," -- Good grief! So a drug dealer can now place kids out on every street corner with a couple of oxycodone, single hits of marijuana/LSD/Meth/Heroin and Xanax to sell, and, basically, there's not a thing a police officer can do!

From the "payback is awful" department - Online story: " A teary-eyed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed a sexual assault in her past as she talked about trauma. * “These folks who tell us to move on, that it’s not a big deal, that we should forget what’s happened" -- Hmmm... remember when AOC said, "Tara Reade's allegation against Joe Biden is not "clear cut" and that she will vote for the presumptive Democrat nominee in November."? -- Excuse me if I don't believe AOC on this... or anything else she claims...

Remember the "meme" of Bernie in his inauguration attire... the brown shoes and fluffy mittens and all? It reminds me of a 1962 Johnny Carson Tonight Show (https://www.quotes.net/mquote/930675) when George Gobel was sitting between Burt Reynolds and Johnny Carson who were dresses "to the 9s", and frumpily dressed Gobel spouted out, "Did you ever get the feeling that the world is a tuxedo and you're a pair of brown shoes." -- Though I picture Bernie wearing a pair of brown storm-trooper boots...

From the "Foghorn Leghorn, "hold your on there little lady" department - Online story: "Christie’s auction house said Monday that the Moroccan landscape “Tower of the Koutoubia Mosque” — a gift from Churchill to U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt — is being sold by Angelina Jolie next month with an estimated The image of the 12th-century mosque in Marrakech at sunset, with the Atlas Mountains in the background, is the only painting that Britain’s World War II leader completed during the 1939-45 conflict. * price of 1.5 million pounds to 2.5 million pounds ($2.1 million to $3.4 million). * The painting was sold by Roosevelt’s son after the president’s death in 1945, and had several owners before Jolie and partner Brad Pitt bought it in 2011. * In the past, all gifts from foreign dignitaries had to be approved by Congress, after which they could become the property of the recipient. But as the U.S. gained prominence on the world stage, a division of protocol was created in 1928 to help presidents entertain visiting dignitaries and of course, organize the customary gift exchanges. Today, foreign gifts—from paintings to ceremonial daggers—are sent to the National Archives." -- Excuse me, but how did FDR's son get hold of it to sell it? I thought gifts to the President while in office were property of the US unless he paid the government it's fair market c=value...

Online headline: "Blacks should move to the South to gain greater political, economic power: NYT columnist" -- Sounds like the Northern Blue States are taking segregation to an all time LOW! I remember back in the 50s/60's when powerful AM station WBAM.. the "Big Bam" broadcast out of Birmingham, AL and pretty covered the South, carried saturating ads.. Detroit I remember vividly... advertising free one-way tickets, and jobs galore for Blacks... I also remember recent stories that NY was giving homeless people one-way bus tickets to Southern cities.

There season is over... I'm talking about "The Washington Football Team", so why haven't the NFL and team owners announced the new marketing name to replace "Redskins"? I have a suggestion.. "the Washington Nikes" .. it even comes with a natural team song... "Swoop, there it is, Swoop, there it is."

From the "following by example?" department - Online headline: "Biden threatens sanctions on Myanmar after military coup" -- Good grief...note that the military coup in Myanmar comes after Trump has left Washington, and Prez JoKKKe Biden has Washington, DC defended by the National Guard and razor wire fencing...

---

Online story: "As promised, President Biden has halted construction of the massive wall — former President Donald Trump's signature project. The new administration has called for a two-month suspension while border security officials sort out what to do next.
* The government reportedly could save about $2.6 billion if construction doesn't resume." -- Wait a minute.. how does "saving $2.6 Billion" translate when you also figure that by finishing the WALL, the US would save $100 BILLION annually spent on increased border patrol expenses and care and upkeep for illegal Aliens invaders, and increased drug traffic?

---
CNN story: "A freeze by the new Biden administration on Trump-era regulations will hit at least two rules aimed at lowering drug prices, including one dealing with insulin and EpiPens for under-served patients." -- Excuse me, but why is this something CNN is celebrating?

From the "let's see how good our Chamber is" department - Online headline: "America’s Most Miserable Cities" -- What a list no one wants to be on.. a Top 35 "America's Most Miserable Cities" -- One thing pretty much in common is that I think all of hem are under local Democrat management...New Jersey has the most on the list with 9, while california comes in second with 5.. but Georgia's two cities are close to home.. Albany at #22, and COLUMBUS at # 17!
Here's what the Seattle based Michelle Rankin's article said about Albany and Columbus:

"Number 22 - Albany, GA - Joblessness is a huge problem for the people of Albany, as the unemployment rate is more than double the national average, so it makes sense that the city makes the top 10% of worst poverty rates in America. The rate of violent crimes is also in the top 10."

"Number 17 - Columbus, GA - Columbus residents are some of the most depressed people in the country – reportedly nearly one-quarter of everyone living there has been diagnosed with depression by a medical professional. It’s not too hard to see why when you consider that 23% of people living there do not like the city, and many do not have access to basic needs – namely medication and food."
And after reading the details of Albany's violent crime and poverty position both being in the WORST 10, I really wonder what she felt about Columbus as she ranked us worse. There's a troublesome connection when looking at Albany and Columbus, the future doesn't look much brighter..... both have been represented by Congressman Sanford Bishop since 1993, and neither Albany nor Columbus is going to vote county-wide for for anything else but a Democrat...

Online headline: "Biden asks Supreme Court to cancel arguments on border wall, asylum cases" -- Hmmm... Sounds like there's political meddling and possibly coercion going on.. Biden already has bypassed Congress with his Executive Orders, and now wants to bypass the Supreme Court.. and I don't see any attempts "unity" nor "Democracy" at work here...

---
From the "don't hold your breath" department - Online headline: "Climate Czar Kerry Wants Ex-Keystone Workers To Make Solar Panels. That Will Require Importing Less China Solar Panels." -- Seriously? Biden is gonna sanction/tariff solar panels from China.. but that's probably the least of Biden's troubles with our unions.. the unions supported Biden.. I guess because they didn't really believe he would actually keep his campaign promise to stop pipelines and new drilling on federal property, but even if the United Steelworks and LIUNA unions vote to "re-skill" themselves, the Electrical Unions are not going to allow them to install solar panels..

---
From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline: "Tennessee Police Officer Resigns over 'Forrest Gump' Blackface Photo" -- Hmmm... why is a Tennessee police officer being eviscerated for having his child be dressed as a star of "Forrest Gump", while Democrat VA Governor Northam dressed in "blackface" portraying a generic minstrel character when he was in medical school and knew better?

Online headline/story: "How Socialism Wiped Out Venezuela's Spectacular Oil Wealth * Venezuela has the world's largest proven oil reserves and yet the country has run out of gasoline. The socialist government has lost the capacity to extract oil from the ground or refine it into a usable form. The industry's gradual deterioration was 18 years in the making, tracing back to then-President Hugo Chávez's 2003 decision to fire the oil industry's most experienced engineers in an act of petty political retribution." -- Can't you see what happened when Biden's Executive Order just took away America's oil dependence of our selves..

---
From the "maybe his is why" Online headline/story: "Venezuela hired Democratic Party donor for $6 million * Newly filed lobbying records show Venezuela’s socialist government previously hired a longtime Democratic Party donor for $6 million at the same time it was lobbying to discourage the U.S. from imposing sanctions on the oil-rich nation. * he documents, which were disclosed Thursday, show a U.S. subsidiary of Venezuela’s state oil giant PDVSA agreed to hire Marcia Wiss’ Washington law firm in March 2017. That’s the same month it signed a consulting deal for $50 million with scandal-tainted former Congressman David Rivera. * Wiss, an international trade lawyer with a history of donations to the Democratic Party, including a $1,500 contribution to Joe Biden last year, denies she did any lobbying work." -- Hmmm... Don't you know, Hunter Biden is clamoring to renegotiate his old deal with Burisma and upcoming China deals!

---
CNN story: "(CNN) — Luis Tapia would finally get a driver's license. * Marilú Saldaña would visit her mom in Mexico before it's too late. * Karina Ruiz De Diaz would register to vote -- something she's helped thousands of others do, but never had a chance to do herself. * They're among the undocumented immigrants President Joe Biden has pledged to help with a new bill he's pushing Congress to pass." -- Wait a minute.. Karina Ruiz De Diaz" - Isn't this the same Karina Ruiz De Diaz that leads the Arizona Dream Act Coalition advocating for legal status of immigrants brought to the United States as children. Knowing this, WHY were Arizona's election results VERIFIED!

Online headline: " NYC City Council plans to "REDUCE THE FOOTPRINT" of the NYPD" -- Sounds pretty much like NYC's Council is "DEFUNDING" their police.

---
Gov Fredo Cuomo must be ecstatic about the 2-feet of snow NYC is getting ... it will keep patrons from keeping their restaurant reservations and Fredo can say, "See, 25% usage for indoor dining was more than enough!"
