Let's face it , South Bend, IN where he was mayor has about 100,000 residents, and 47 buses in it's Transportation department and South Bend has a budget of $338,000,000.00.. Now he's going to be in charge of an $87 +/- BILLION dollar budget and a National Transportation System.. why isn't the Senate more concerned about a Transportation Secretary with a more extensive financial and budgetary skill set?

Another question about Buttigieg's qualifications.. his city had a budget of $338 Million for 100,000 people.. our town has between 190,000 and 200,000 and our budget is $278 Million... doesn't sound .. or look like Buttigieg is much for budget analysis or constraints.
