Personally, I'm glad we are seeing the videos rehashing the January 6th melee in Washington, DC. We are seeing how ill-prepared the Capitol Building security has been under Nancy Pelosi's watch, and how our tax dollars have been wasted on windows and doors that could not withstand penetration by people wielding common everyday items that happened to be handy.

Columbus, GA just suffered it's 12th homicide of 2021...and less than 6 weeks have passed... Columbus, GA is heading toward a unfathomable 100 homicides this year (that's over 50 homicides per 100,000) if this rate continues! What flies in the face of Columbus citizens is NOW, the mayor shows some concern for the over 100 police jobs still not filled for several years.. Hey Council, it's time to "get it done" or either rescind the 2009 Safety LOST sales tax which was passed to pay for them...

I supported "Tunnels to Towers" when it was created to assist the families of First Responders who died or became sick serving after the 9-11-01 terrorist attack in New York City. Now, I'm concerned... even a bit skeptical that "Tunnels to Towers" is now soliciting donations via emotional ads for "wounded warriors". I don't feel assured that all the families of the First Responders have all their needs completely taken care of that frees up the "Tunnel to Towers" fund for a completely different mission direction. Does anyone have any information on what's the status of the First Responders' families ongoing needs?
