Online headline: “Georgia Secretary of State’s Office inspects voting equipment in Muscogee County” -- SOS (Same Old S***) Raffensperger has already admitted the Canadian-made Dominion system IS HACKABLE, but will still be used in 2024, so this "photo op" is just that... a "photo op"! Impeach Raffensperger!

---
WRBL-TV3 online headline: “Columbus, GA Animal Care and Control Center has reached compacity (sic) (capacity)” -- Hmmmm....... why not just give'm "no cash" or "personal recognizance" bail? Most are more loveable than a lot of "temporary holdees" at our jail.

Wanna understand why “Bidenomics” doesn’t… CANNOT… work for America? Our Columbus GA Council just authorized this: “Utility Assistance Program Administration Services: Columbus Consolidated Government (CCG) has allocated $1,500,000 to assist low-income households struggling with utility expenses. This initiative is part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP)-Utility Assistance Program.” – “part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP)-Utility Assistance Program.”? Just another Democrat “headLIE”! It’s a “buy the vote” campaign! The money used is not “free money” , it’s been taken out of the pockets of Middle-America’ which is also struggling with excessive utility rates! What our Columbus, GA Council need to do is be transparent, and inform our non-recipients as to how many actual families receive such “assistance”, what are the requirements to “qualify”, and what organizations actually distribute our tax dollars?

---
Another Columbus GA Council “questionable item” is: “Integrated Waste Study Update: We received a presentation from a consultant highlighting the need to adjust rates due to the rising cost of services.” – Hmmm… and how much did the consultant’s “fees” impact the “rising cost of services”?

---
Another “headLIE” Columbus GA Council “item” needs some clarity: “Clean Energy Columbus: The Clean Energy Columbus group explained the necessity of a Clean Energy resolution.” – “explained the necessity of a Clean Energy resolution”? No! They opined their personal beliefs which have no basis for being true in the time lines they presented! If we could believe such, according to their “leader”, Algore, Columbus GA would already be an Atlantic Ocean coastal city.

Another angle of aboves' Online headline: “Could Columbus see 100% clean energy by 2040? Local coalition asks city leaders to commit” -- Good grief! If Council agrees to a plan like this (versus making sure the most efficient options of energy are used) then the extra costs to taxpayers should be deducted from the funds used to provide salaries to Columbus, GA City employees. Council's job is to make Columbus an attractive place for growth.

---
Online headline: “$750,000 worth of crime prevention grants to be spread out among 44 agencies in Columbus GA” – Hmmm… you know, ..with the exception of a few… very few.. of the recipients, these taxpayer funds (about $17,000.00 per “grant”) will go mainly to the salaries of the organizations' principles..

Wow! That surge of hurricane speed wind-driven fire on Maui... guess Resident Biden will ship back up fire brigades via trains. Let’s all pray for the citizens of Maui..

---
What's happened to Burger King's enthusiasm for the "Impossible Whopper”? Guess the public figured they were actually "Imposter burgers”.

---
Online headline: “Manchin 'seriously' considering becoming independent, says Washington Dem brand 'so bad' * Manchin is potentially facing a tough reelection bid in GOP-friendly West Virginia” --

Seriously... If Manchin was interested in America, he'd changed his party affiliation to being a Republican, and would have done so ln January when it would have made a difference.. now he's just trying to save his own arse.

---
If not Trump, who can we vote for in 2024 that's FOR America]s future rather than their personal gain? By not supporting Trump's rights as a citizen, the other Republicans tell us they don't care FOR OUR RIGHTS either.. and as for the Democrats.. by not wanting to make an example out of Resident Biden for his corrupt practices, the Dems are telling us THEY are the ones above the law.

Online story: “The Biden administration on Thursday asked Congress to provide more than $13 billion in emergency defense aid to Ukraine and an additional $8 billion for humanitarian support through the end of the year, another massive infusion of cash as the Russian invasion wears on and Ukraine pushes a counteroffensive against the Kremlin's deeply entrenched forces. * The package includes $12 billion to replenish U.S. federal disaster funds at home after a deadly climate season of heat and storms, and funds to bolster the enforcement at the Southern border with Mexico, including money to curb the flow of deadly fentanyl. All told, it’s a $40 billion package.” – Let’s do a “little traditional math” parsing… $13 BILLION for Ukraine defense.. an additional $8 BILLION for humanitarian support (implied.. tough not specified) for Ukraine, and $12 BILLION to replenish U.S. federal disaster funds at home… hmmm that’s $33 BILLION.. yet the “bill” is for $40 BILLION… $7 BILLION is not accounted for.. that’s 17.5% … basically 1/6th of the total bill that’s not disclosed.. that’s a lot of “pork” to buy votes with!

---
Online headline: “Cook shortage at Army post shutters some mess halls, leaving hungry soldiers scrambling” – Excuse me… but can’t someone in charge simply order “cook training” for the soldiers at the bases?

Hey! Why not simply rename Ft Hood to Camp Bobby Flay" and watch culinary students line up to enlist!

---
From the “do you reckon Massachusetts voters may vote straight Republican in 2024?” department – Online headline/story: “Massachusetts officials ask residents to lend a 'helping hand' and offer migrants 'an extra room' * Massachusetts declared state of emergency in response to a migrant housing shortage * Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll asked state residents Wednesday to open their doors and assist housing migrants after the Democratic governor, Maura Healey, declared a state of emergency Tuesday as the state is faced with a vast shortage of shelters. * "Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family," Driscoll said.” – Wow! Wanna bet over/under as to how many Massachusetts citizens will open their homes to unvetted illegal aliens? The betting number is 1. Democrats have forgotten why the 3rd Constitutional Amendment was so dear to Massachusetts when it was written!

---
Online headline: “The chair from the Alabama Riverboat has been interviewed; here is what it had to say” – Hey.. Wait a minute! If Clint Eastwood didn't interview “the chair”, it doesn't count! (Smile.. you know this is FUNNY!)

---
Online headline: “Three in a row: State breaks economic development records” -- Wow! Three straight years of record growth... hmmm... sure would be nice if Columbus, GA had such a record!

---
Online headline: ‘Changes to Macon post office may move dozens of jobs out of county” -- Wow... what does this mean for Columbus GA ! Our local processing ended years ago, and if we mail a card to our next door neighbor, it goes to Macon then back to Columbus. Where will our mail go now?

---
Online headline: “Columbus Animal Care & Control to host Doggy Swim Day on Aug. 12" --
Good grief! It's common knowledge Columbus GA Council has let the City's outdoor pool system "go to the dogs".... but GIVING THE POOL TO THEM is ridiculous! The Double Churches pool is the only outdoor City pool open, and the City is going to let dogs use it which means the water will need to be drained, all pool surfaces cleaned, and the water replaced... before it will be fit for human use again.. Wonder if the Columbus Water Works talked the Parks and Rec Department into doing this!

---
Online headline: “Sen. Ossoff Pushing for Onion Breeder Position at ARS” -- Why are these fluff stories all we hear about Senator Ossoff? When are we gonna see stories about whether or not Ossoff supports improved border security, lower taxes and crime, and better education?

---
Online headline: ““No Talking” policy being enforced at Cook County middle schools, parents outraged” -- Wow! No talking.... guess the school's hall and lunchroom monitors wear "BROWN SHIRTS", and are in a training program for jobs as prison guards.

---
Online headline: “This Georgia City… Albany… has been Named the Most Miserable in the State” -- Wow! 30 plus years or electing and re-electing Congressman Sanford Bishop hasn't really paid off for GA District 2... wish some FBI info would be compiled showing CRIME RATE stats by Congressional Districts.. with Bishop's District also includes Macon, and south Columbus as well as Albany, GA, District 2 would be one of .. if not THE… worst.

---
You know.. Columbus, GA voters got screwed when our legislators did not change the law that says our non-partisan local elections have to be held during the private state primaries! Our Council and School Board elections in 2024 may be in MARCH if GA joins "Super Tuesday" in March of 2024... Sadly, our Charter Review Committee has not pressured Columbus Council nor our Legislative group to improve local elections...
