Online headline: “ Michigan ads target residents in red states with vows to protect their 'human freedoms'” -- Hmmm... So Michigan is wooing residents in "Red States" to move there so that their "human freedoms" will be protected... unless, of course, you think protection of your freedom of speech and thought, and your freedom of religion are important to you.

Online headline: “ Columbus GA Councilors question crime prevention grants. Here’s the list of awards for $750K” -- Wait a minute! There are only 43 "recipients" listed here though the story says there were 45 "grants"... Our tax dollars distributed to these 43 listed organizations was $700,000 out of $750,000 stated.. hmmm.... does this mean two orgs got $50,000 between them that we don't get to know about?

Though pre-disputed by the statement that "personnel in the grant requests are: Educators dealing with those individuals" and not the "executive staff or any administrative staff", we know better!

From the list of recipients, I saw 5... maybe 6 or 7 organizations deserving consideration to give our tax dollars . Columbus, GA would get more crime prevention value by using the $750,000.00 (plus Committee/staff expenses) to the Columbus GA Police Department as was the Public Safety LOST initiative's aim.

WTVM-TV9 online story: ” COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Concerns over safety at Columbus Parks has had some parents on high alert, and city leaders are taking action * help is coming from an unusual source. Muscogee County prison employees will join the fight to help keep all 30 plus Columbus parks safe. * Muscogee County Warden Herbert Walker says he and his team are rolling out three patrol vehicles. Behind the wheel, he and other prison staffers are ready and willing to lock you up if you break the city park’s laws. * Herbert adds that if the patrol needs additional assistance with anything, they’ll call the police department. An added perk to the park patrol is that it will not take any money out of the city’s budget due to it already being allocated in the city budget.” -- HUH? Columbus GA has enough qualified security personnel on staff at the jail to “loan” to the City for park patrol? Doesn’t that mean there are either too many personnel at the jail.. or not enough prisoners to keep personnel fully occupied? Now, since with either of these two scenarios, qualified security staff is available, why not just transfer them to the Columbus Police Department.. the jail would save money (taxpayers money at that), and since Council is supposedly “saving” the Public Safety LOST money not actually spent on securing the promised 100 new officers, the transferred security officers could be paid FROM that savings account, and the City of Columbus could reduce homeowners taxes now by paying police staff until the Safety LOST tax savings fund is depleted..

Please look over my personal involvement in this, but this is a very appropriate project Uptown Columbus is promoting:

Online headline/story: “Radical climate change activists ignore this real threat to the planet * All Americans can agree that we need clean air and water, but the radical ‘anti-fossil fuels’ climate stance oversimplifies a complex issue while threatening the supply of energy for Americans, our allies around the globe, and developing economies. * Contrary to the notion that fossil fuels are an insurmountable obstacle to progress, embracing American energy sources like liquified natural gas (LNG) will simultaneously lower harmful emissions, strengthen U.S. security and economic prowess, lift impoverished communities worldwide, and bolster democratic values. * We are not in an energy transition, but an energy expansion. * In fact, world demand for energy is projected to increase 47 percent by 2050 over 2020 demand. * Radical climate activists completely ignore this increase in energy needs and the critical importance of energy access to the economic development of a country.” – You know.. while Democrats and MSM parade about the world extolling the need for “green energy”, it’s becoming more and more apparent that he libs are more focused on “GREED energy” for themselves..

Online headline: “Philadelphia businesses setting up booby traps to protect themselves in this blue city's drug haven: recovering addict: --- Hey.. why don't the citizens just put up "DRUG FREE ZONE: signs up in front of their stores? Hey, most school systems do this ,,, and they say (contrary to popular opinions) this works.

Wow! Massachusetts... yep.. the home of the Catholic KENNEDY family as well as a wide spread Irish Catholic population has told a Catholic family their religion makes them unfit to be Foster Parents. This lawsuit will be fun to follow.

Online headline: “Special prosecutor to be named to probe Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones in Trump case” – Hmmm… if there is a GA official who needs to be investigated, it's SOS Raffensperger. Raffensperger admits the Dominion voting machine ARE HACKABLE but is going to use them again in 2024 without correcting the software.

Is Resident Biden just economically challenged or just doesn't know what he's reading off the Teleprompter? He said a loss of corporate profits is good for inflation drops. HUH? Corporate profits depend on consumer purchasing, but if profits drop, corporations lay off workers because they don't need as much production, and job losses trigger the Domino effect on consumer spending which then reduces corporate profits even faster.

Online headline: “AMA under fire for floating taxpayer-funded uterus transplants for biological men: 'An activist position'” -- Good grief! And my… and your… normal health needs costs will go up via higher insurance costs or higher taxes.

I really don't know what Columus, GA’s "Feeding the Valley".. (well, other than raising and spending millions of donated dollars building an edifice to itself) ... is trying to accomplish by adding more storage space for food when the biggest problem "Feeding the Valley" says it has is getting ENOUGH food to give away... You would think "FTV" would be more interest in acquiring enough food to give to those in need rather than to keep a bigger storage facility filled.

Online headline: “Special counsel obtained Trump’s Twitter DMs despite company’s efforts to block access” -- Doesn't.. well... SHOULDN'T this set a precedence for the government making Apple to release text and DM's on iPhones? How many times has Apple refused to assist FBI/DOJ when either has the locked iPhone of criminals and terrorists?

---
Hmmm.. you know the "powers that be" really made some dubious decisions to allow a 7,000 sq ft section of Columbus, GA's RiverWalk below the Synovus Building. First, it's almost hippie-psychodelic-60s- retro, but it's also going to be subject to damages by both Chattahoochee River flooding, and.. and being "tagged" by "spray paint" vandals.

Online story: “A police officer has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while escorting Vice President Kamala Harris through Seattle. * The security detail was driving through Seattle, Washington, on Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle officer plunged up to 60 feet off a highway ramp, the Bellevue Police Department said in a statement on Twitter. * The unnamed officer, 39, reportedly fell between 50 and 60 feet off the Michigan Street on-ramp and landed in the southbound lanes of I-5.” – Hmmmm… I thought I heard Chuckles “cackling”!

Online story: “An e-cigarette that looks exactly like a highlighter is being sold to U.S. retailers, allowing children to smuggle the camouflaged product into schools. * The High Light Office 4 e-cigarette is practically indistinguishable from a highlighter. Its angled, colorful tip makes it look ready for study hall even when uncapped. It provides 4,000 puffs, according to the company’s website, and is available in 20 flavors, from sweet mint to mango.” – Good grief! How could this design “slip” by the FDA (or whichever US department that took “Joe Camel” off the market)?
