In hopes it would have already been corrected, I've refrained, until now, mentioning the sign above the doors of the old Kirven's/Synovus building bought by the City of Columbus, GA.. Why wasn't the name "Columbus" centered on the top line of the "Columbus City Hall" sign?

One protested held a sign that read “DOGE is Un-American”… Hmm. I thought… to me, politicians abusing and misusing tax dollars is what’s ‘UN-AMERICAN!

Former Sec of Transportation Buttigieg wanted to know why planes are crashing now, but he left all the systems as they were when he was in charge and didn't improve...He's also complaining that the 400 "fired" FAA employees would have made a difference ... people with less than a year in the job (of which none were in "safety" positions) and were less than 1% of the 45,000 who work in the FAA. Doesn't he ever check his facts?

Obviously, the FAA that Pete Buttigieg left had no improvements installed in the 4 years he was Secretary of Transportation. Why didn't he engage Elon Musk for help. It's pretty obvious to me that since Musk can shoot spaceships into the air and re-land the boosters at the blast off site.. heck, now he's even plucking them out of the air .... I think the FAA needs Musk to buy it out and bring his spaceship navigating software with him.

Looking at both the donations her campaign account made and  at the donors to Carolyn Hugley, GA State House District 141 legislator, GA House Minority Leader, and wife of Columbus GA's City Manager, who ran unopposed ..again, yet had a huge boost to her campaign donations. While I think no candidate should receive money from people who cannot vote for a candidate, two donations she was involved with: one from Allstate Insurance...I mean, she's a State Farm Agent and State Farm didn't make a contribution, and the other is one she made out of her campaign account to "Girls Inc of Columbus and Phenix City". While "Girls Inc" is certainly a worthy organization, but should politicians be able to use political donations to donate to 501-c-3 organizations? The donors who gave to Hugley's campaign to make her charitable  "gesture" possible, could have given directly to "Girl's Inc" and gotten a tax deduction.

 While TX Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett was in town keynoting how important it was not to "erase or alter" Black history, did she mention .. at all.. that the Jim Crow era was under the Democratic Party or that the KKK was founded and used by Democrats, or that it was the Republican Party that  championed the 1964/65 Civil Rights bills ?
