Excuse me....Don't know what my typing finger was thinking yesterday, but Jamie Dimon is Chair/CEO of JPMorgan, not Goldman-Sachs

headline/story: "Maine legislature censures Rep. Laurel Libby for pointing
out trans athlete who won girls' competition * Libby will not be able to speak
or vote on the floor until she apologizes" -- GOOD GRIEF! If the US House censured Representatives for not
apologizing for what they say truthfully, then only lying Representatives would
ever get to vote because it's much easier to give a hollow apology for an
untruth than to back down from the truth.

headline: "Columbus GA Council explores Indian heritage, future of sports
facilities" -- You know, Columbus GA used to have a really neat
"Indian Cultural Festival" held on the campus of Columbus State
University... until... until Columbus Mayor and Council destroyed it
in1996.. Remember the 1996 Olympics? Well, the City was so intent to overload
hoped for visitors that it coerced the Board of the Festival (primarily School,
University and Museum employees plus myself and the late Steve Woodruff) to
move the traditional October Festival date up to August to correspond with the
Olympic softball. Steve and I objected furiously to no avail.. The Cultural
Festival was an outside daytime event with tents to shade vendors and
participants, but no temperature contolled facilities. The Festival events were
focused around ceremonies, dancing, authentic food options, and other rituals
with Native Americans wearing traditional wardrobes that included animal pelts,
woven woolen fabrics and animal/bead focused headwear.. all of which were heavy
and rather warm. This was a huge factor in scheduling the event in October, but
the City wanted it to be held in conjunction with the Softball event in
August... you know August.. when 99 degrees is considered a cold snap. The 100+
degree temperatures made it to uncomfortable for daytime visitors to attend and
inhumane for people to dress in their ritual wardrobes and perform physically
in that heat. Needless to say, the Festival was a catastrophe... and the
financial holdings of the Foundation were drained and the Festival was
discontinued.. There was an attempt for another such Festival to be started in
Harris County, but I don't think it lasted too long.. Now, if Columbus GA
Council is going to consider another attempt at such a Cultural Festival, STAY
OUT OF THE WAY!

headline: "GA Secretary of State wants to change runoffs, but lawmakers
say ranked choice isn’t the answer" -- Ranked Choice actually hurts the EDUCATED and Independent
Voters!... If there are really 2 realistic choices, but several other 3rd Party
or Independent candidates, and no one gets the 50%+1 vote, the leading vote
getter has little chance of winning the "ranked choice elimination
format" because the major Parties "loyals" will vote for their
candidate, but either not vote for the other Party's candidate at all, or vote
for it way down the list so that candidate starts losing votes on the first
"Ranked Choice" recount.

Here's
something Democrat voters should think about .. there's basically only one
reason any government official/employee would want to assist in covering up the
misuse of tax funds... said official/employee doesn't want to be found
personally benefiting from it... Remember who wanted to "discover and
recover" versus "detain and restrain" the truth when you step
into your voting booth.

Why
are the Democrats attacking Trump on the 2017 Tax Policy he started? Neither
Biden nor the Democrat majority House or Senate tried to change it back, and
without the increases in tax revenues Trump's tax policies brought in during
the Biden 4-years, the inflation rate and economic impact would have been way
worse than they were.

Bought
two books of "Forever" stamps this week, and they cost me $29.20.
That's 73 cents per stamp. I looked at the postal agent and said, I can
remember when a whole book of 20 stamps costs less than a single stamp today...
