WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Columbus City Councilors debate over paying HR Director legal fees" --  Good grief! This must be the only debate where the taxpayers, not the debaters, lost!! There's a heck of a difference in charges that ''could/might" have been made/filed versus charges that "could possibly" have been filed. For an employee to have run up $40K in legal fees when no charges were ever brought up or filed makes you wonder about WHAT "bases" said employee felt she needed to cover... just in case....

Hmmm... Senator Padilla of California has sent out a fundraising email claiming he "will not be intimidated"... Hmmm... seems like he was the one trying.. unsuccessfully, I might add ..  to intimidate DHS Secretary Noem, and he was the one who cried on the floor of the Senate.
