While I'm "sure" the Atlanta Braves know more about baseball than I do 🙄, I do have to wonder about the recent promotion of just turned 20 year old pitcher Didier Fuentes. He's been on all four GA Braves baseball teams this season ("A" Rome (0-1), "AA" Columbus (0-5), "AAA" Gwinnett (0-1), and the NL Atlanta Braves (0-2)) but has yet to record a single victory for any of them.  Sure, he's young, but is he ready for Major League Baseball today?

Dupont Kirven, Jr. won it twice..in 1933 & 1935, and his youngest son (and my brother)  Elliott Kirven, Sr, also won it twice.. in 1981 & 1987. They are the only Father & Son champions in Southeastern Amateur history. One other tidbit was when my Dad won, the format was Match Play, and he beat his father, J. Dupont Kirven, Sr, in the 36 hole finals in 1933.

You know, there are pictures of convoys hauling what's thought to be uranium away from the  Fordow site in Iran. Think about it.... if Trump or Israel wanted to blow that up, it would have been real easy, but then again, what good would it be to have partially enrich uranium all over Iran? The success of the bombing of Fordow was shutting down the capability of Iran to do anymore enrichment processing.

Gotta email from Sen Tim “Kandi” Kaine yesterday… The subject line was, “Have We Learned Nothing?”.. I thought about it for about 2 seconds, and muttered, “Apparently NOT!”
