Dodgers 6, Blue Jays 5 …. 18 innings….6 hours & 39 minutes… One word… USA!

Online headline: "Trump Administration Doubles US Citizenship Test
Requirements, Making It Harder To Pass Amid Immigration Battle" --
Hmmmm ...Just twice as many questions, but still only knowing 60% of answers is
required... Hmmm... you know, it probably would be a good test to require high
school grads to pass before they are eligible to vote, drive, or be covered by
government social programs.

Online story: “It’s wild to see how Bill Clinton’s past scandals, especially
the Monica Lewinsky affair, still echo through American culture and politics
decades later. Even as his presidency is praised for economic growth and key
policy wins, those headline-grabbing controversies just won’t let go” -- Wait a
minute! Clinton should not be given much..if any..credit for a booming economic
period..... than credit should go to House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
---
Online headline: "This is no way to run a railroad, much less a river
system" -- Hmmm.. we're talking about the triad of rivers.. the
Chattahoochee, the Flint, and Apalachicola Rivers that merge into Lake Seminole
before eventually emptying into the Gulf of America.. The locks and dam systems
haven’t been maintained since the 90s.In other words, Representative Sanford
Bullship, D-GA2, has been around for 33 years, and has, literally, not done a
positive thing about this situation his entire career!
---
Online headline: "Harvard says it’s been giving away too many “A” grades
to undergrad students" -- If 60% of grades are "A",
then a "B".. actually, any grade less than “A”, is basically
failing! You know, to really be of value to graduates, the standards for A's
should be higher than 90% of students can attain. Years ago, Stanford went to a
grading system of "Pass/Fail"... after a couple of years, the
STUDENTS demanded to go back on the old system, because if every graduate had
the same "PASS" grade, superior students had nothing to show they
were better applicants than any other Stanford grad ... or, for that matter, a
Stanford diploma was no more impressive than a mail-order one.

Online headline/story: “You’re Fired: Actvist loses job due to statements made
at No Kings. * Moises Bernal Puentes, an Adult Education Manager at
Wilbur Wright College (part of the City Colleges of Chicago system), was
recorded making inflammatory statements. In the video, Bernal urged protesters
to “grab a gun” and “turn around the guns on this fascist system,” specifically
calling for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents to “get shot and
wiped out,” along with other elements of the “state machinery.” -- Hey....
now he'll probably run for Mayor of Chicago ....and win....
---
WRBL-TV3 online headline: "Columbus mayor Skip Henderson visits South
Korea with business and civic leaders" -- Hmmm ...about the
only value Mayor Skippy could bring back to Columbus, GA would be in recruiting
from our "new sister city", Jinju's City Manager to come here.

Listening to videos of BERNIE & AOC at a Mamdani Rally ranting about being
for the working class vs billionaires was disturbing. Hmmm... isn't it the
successful working class becoming wealthier that's creating more jobs so more
working class families can become successful a good thing? Especially
compared to government wanting just to make the working class equal in poverty
versus being motivated to rise above it...

It's a plaintive ..even IGNORANT.. complaint the DemoKrats are yapping about...
They feel everything would fall… be in place… if House Speaker Johnson
would just call "the House" back into session.. Hey, the HOUSE has
already approved the Continuing Resolution, so until the DemoKrats in the
Senate vote to pass to the CR bill, there's no reason.. or even new money… for
House members even be in Washington.. literally!
