Heading for church yesterday reminded me of how former Columbus GA Mayor Queen TT Tom-LYING-son promoted the River Road Round-about as a way to save money by not having to pay the utilities for the Traffic Directional Lights that were there.. but yesterday, the sprinklers were on and watering the  brick “apron” and surrounding roadways more so than the landscaping… to boot, it’s not gonna be long before the brick “apron” will collapse from the logging trucks that ride their loads of tree trucks across it… and the water pipes under it will collapse as well. Also, instead of the 4 traffic lights that used to be there, we have over 50 SIGNS .. including at least 4 flashing light signs… so where are the savings promised?
