What is going on in Columbus GA news… a huge highway block by Columbus GA law enforcement was made yesterday morning of a major commuter artery connecting Harris County and Columbus GA.. and I cannot find online information about what happened.. There have been speculations of gun shots, or “road rage” but nothing official I’m aware of… it’s like information from the Columbus law enforcement officials has been silenced… and local media is cooperating… so much for claims that violent crimes are declining.

Is this correct? I read a reader’s comment on a local story about ongoing projects around Columbus, GA, and someone stated they had to pay $10.00 to park in the Columbus Civic Center lot... Hmmm... if the City is getting $10.00 per parking space, wouldn't it be advantageous to tear down Synovus Park and convert the space to a parking lot? 😇

Talk about epitomizing ineptness, when you go on the Columbus GA website, and scroll down the “Departments” menu, and get to the link to the City Manager’s Office, it says hat fired City Manager “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley is STILL the City Manager… This is inexcusable!
