Online headline: “With early voting open, some Columbus GA residents have already taken to the polls to cast their ballot in the Georgia Public Service Commission elections.” – Hmmm... one post vote casting interviewee said he just voted “DemoKrat.. and a woman agreed and said her bills have gone up the last "4 to 5 years"... hmmm ..that ties directly into the Biden term... Hmm… remind again what the definition of “insanity” is… you know.. something about doing the same thing over & over expecting different results…

I haven’t rechecked the local news in the past 30 minutes before publishing this, but yesterday afternoon, about 4:30, in UpTown Columbus GA, I witnessed at least 4 Police cars. Sirens and lights flashing roar west down 13th and 12th Streets but I haven’t seen any news stories about this.. There were Fire Truck and/or ambulance sirens I heard as well.. Any locals know what that was about.. When I’ve seen or heard such in the past, it’s been for violence or other major crimes/situations…

WRBL-TV3 online headline: "Sen. Jon Ossoff issues statement on release of Israeli hostages" --  Looks like he forget to mention that it was  President Trump made this happen...

---
Doesn't seem like any of the Columbus GA Council knows who the "convenience fee" contractor for processing card payments of local citizens  for paying property taxes or other City fees is... or how much in fees it collects...I've suggested Council out our an annual contract for competitive bidding so that 2.5% rate could come down .. but there is another option for online users, and that's for the City to accept checking/savings account payments instead of just cards.

---
Online headline: "Ten red states still deny low-income citizens this Obamacare benefit" -- Seriously! Name me one BLUE state that ObamaCare truly benefits users or taxpayers.… the legal name of "ObamaCare" is the Affordable Care Act, yet this act has been anything BUT AFFORDABLE since it was enacted by a DemoKrat  partisan Congress.

---
Online headline: "‘We have to do something.' Columbus restaurant fights to be seen as trees block sign" --  Simple solution... cut such trees on City property down, and replace them with specialty trees that do not grow as tall ... OH! Isn't that exactly what the City is doing at the corners of the new Judicial Center project on 10th Street?

---
WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Hundreds gather to support mayoral candidate Isaiah Hugley" -- Hmmm There's no actual "evidence" Columbus GA is the "12th Best Run City in the country". If there was, Hugley would still be our City Manager  Hey, Reverend Flakes... what's the 9th Commandment all about?

---
WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Columbus GA animal board tackles ordinance overhaul amid shelter concerns" --  Combining a public animal control operation with a "no kill" private operation was a mistake... a big one at that...to begin with.. I love dogs and cats, but housing unadoptable or feral ones 'for LIFE' is not a reasonable economic option for either, but especially not for the public facility ..

Hmmm ..and who was City Manager of Columbus GA then... Yep .. ex-City Manager & current Mayoral candidate "I-see-a-nothing" Hugley...self purported leader of "the 12th Best run City in the country".

---
WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Local organization hosts 'First Lady of Columbus Luncheon" --  Supporting the less fortunate people is admirable, but holding a luncheon raising $15,000.00 to administer to 1,100 only covers $13.64 per homeless students and sounds somewhat like spinning one's wheels...

---
WALB-TV10 in Albany GA online headline: "Synovus to pay $315k fine over claims of forgery, falsification of e-signatures" -- This story has escaped Columbus GA...proving this story needs more exposure and transparency! This is about people's savings, retirement and pension plans...

---
Online headline: "Columbus has the #3 best public high school in GA. See how your school ranks" --  Wow! Looks like there IS "trouble" in River City! Did Columbus High School slip to third best statewide, or did the new "2" school just improve? And the "teacher grades"... only 3 of our public high schools rated above the "C" range, and none, even at vaunted Columbus High School, rated an "A" grade. Is the School Board doing its job keeping the Columbus GA School Administration on task?

---
Online headline: "Inside Savannah's push to prosecute gang-affiliated youth" --  If a group looks like a gang, dresses like a gang, talks like a gang, 'sign' like a gang, it is a gang... it’s whether the "gang" gathers for the good or bad of the community that determines whether they need to be prosecuted!

---
Courier Eco Latino online headline: "Forum Aims to Empower Columbus Tenants Facing Poor Housing Conditions" -  Wow! Did you see the online ad Wain Hailes ran in his Courier Eco Latino publication? He's asking for DONATIONS! I assume to keep afloat... This just proves Hailes does not run a business to serve the whole community... it's so biased, potential advertisers realize the "ECL" does not reach enough customers they want to reach.

---
Did you see who’s listed as Columbus GA Mayoral candidate “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley’s “campaign manager”? Trip Tomlinson… ex-Mayor Queen TT Tom-LYING-son’s husband… betcha Trip won’t get many words of his own in….

---
Wane Hailes, publisher of the Courier Eco Latino news seems to be devoting his full time, effort, and media space to "I-see-a-nothing" Hugley's run for Mayor of Columbus .. I hope he's keeping up with that, because he's suppose to give "EQUAL TIME" to all the candidates....

---
Online headline: "'We are expecting absolute 100% transparency' | Georgia schools superintendent proposes major reforms" -- Huh? Unfortunately, there's literally no such thing as 100% transparency in politics...

---
Online headline: "Indictment of NY attorney general Letitia James stirs concerns for Black women leaders" -- You know, being a leader is not about being a color or a gender.. it's about earning respect regardless of either.. and whether you do the right things when the light is not shining directly on you…

---
WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Uptown Columbus hosting inaugural Halloween Gala Fundraiser" --   Interesting... the Columbus GA officials CANCELED 'the Fair" on the Southside of UpTown Columbus for "security cost reasons", yet is going all out with a masked, alcohol available Halloween fundraiser on the Northside of UpTown.

---
That story about the late night shooting of a Columbus GA State employee as she got home late that was immediately categorized an "accidental shooting" without an adequate investigation needs to be completely kept alive.. there are just too many unanswered issues for such a quick Coroner's decision..
