It's "follow up time"! Two months ago this week, I posted pictures of the decrepit shape one of those Columbus GA authorized vandalism murals is on Veterans Parkway. Paint has flaked off, big holes permeate.. and there appear to be possible gunshot holes in it as well.. It was a Mayoral “Photo-Op” when new, now is an opportunity for  Mayor Skippy the POO to clean up this mess.

Mayor Skippy the POO of Columbus GA just let the cat-out-of-the-bag....When he announced that he wasn't going to name any of the 5 finalists for the open City Manager's job... at least not until closer to the local May elections...,  he more or less  said that either it wasn't going to be one of the current Deputy City Managers, or Hugley probably told him he would fire any other one named on January 1, 2026.

Columbus GA Parks & Recreation holds public meeting for proposed street hockey rink" -- Rink? more like a concrete pond...  Hmmm..... like every neighborhood child is gonna show up with his/her own hockey stick and roller-blades? A basketball game on a public court just needs a ball, and a baseball or softball game just needs a ball and one bat. Everybody in street hockey needs a stick, and probably a face mask and body armor as well as he skates.

Since the East Doors to the Columbus GA Service Center are now only available to City Employees with proper ID, then, I think all those "special" City employees and officials reserved parking spaces in the garage need to be eliminated so the Public can have access to ALL the first floor parking spaces.
