WRBL-TV3 online headline: "Columbus GA's City Services building to tighten security with new AI-based screening system' --  Hmmm.... well, you know if Columbus GA's Property Tax and Finance Department collectors didn't charge a 2.5% "convenience" fee for paying taxes and fees  online, more people would do so, and the savings on staff and  expenses, versus opening the Public Service Center for collecting in-person payments,  would more than offset eliminating any amount the 2.5% "convenience" fee produces.

In summer, GA Power advises us to keep our thermostats at "78", and in the winter, GA Power will tell us to keep our thermostats in the mid-to-low 60s, but GA Power WILL NOT TO FOLLOW THOSE 'tips' in their offices because GA Power is NOT WORRIED about not having the  revenues to pay it.
