So much for the credibility of the College Football Playoff Commission going forward! Including the Top 10 in the last rankings was one thing, but skipping from Number 10 to Numbers 20 & 24 to complete the 12 team brackets was another! There was one other questionable choice.. the University of Miami… not because of their record, but because Miami wasn’t in the ACC Championship game in which neither the winner nor runner-up were truly considered.. much less chosen… for the playoffs…

WRBL-TV3 online headline: "Columbus Council may slow down some critical decisions in the runup to the 2026 election" --  If Columbus GA Mayor Skippy the POO cannot find a candidate as good or  better than who was fired, why haven't the Deputy City Managers been fired as well? And..this also indicates that Columbus won't have a new City Manager at all until at least after the second Council meeting in January of 2026 after the new Mayor nominates a candidate, and Council can discuss and approve.

Columbus GA is getting blessed again! Former Columbus Council member Columbus John House is moving back to our community.. What a provident opportunity for our Mayor to see if Col House will serve as our new City Manager .. I remember how much better the organized and logical military mind of General Cavezza made in running our city when Gen Cavezza was City Manager... Colonel House would be a much needed blessing for Columbus!
