WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Columbus GA City Council questions shrinking rainy day fund" --  Wait a minute...I'll find out the exact number needed, but if our "rainy day" fund goes below a certain level, our bond rating takes a hit, and our debt will increase! Columbus GA Council has a right to know why it's taken so long for the Finance Director to bring this huge "dip" forward... Betcha Mayor/acting City Manager  Skippy the POO knew way before Council did... well, way before 7 of our Councilors did.

Also thought it was revealing that one of the issues brought up by the Finance Director is the unbudgeted cost eruption of PAWS Humane’s takeover of Columbus’ Animal Control Center. That “No Kill” policy needs to be reviewed ….

Online headline: "Judge orders Georgia to continue hormone therapy for transgender inmates" --  Hmmm .... I think that judge needs to have her office moved to a prison cell wing, and share the same bathroom facilities so she'll have a clue to what she's deciding her ruling on.

---
Online headline: "Democrat flips northeast Georgia state House seat, pulling off special election upset" --  The fact that a DemoKrat could barely get 50% in a special election in a  liberal college town during a school year is definitely "NOT an UPSET nor  MOMENTUM".

---
Online headline: "Brand behind Mountain Dew, Pepsi & Doritos confirms 20% cut in products after devastating factory closure" --  Hey, Columbus GA Council.. this should be a great time to reinstate Coca Cola as the official supplier for non-alcoholic beverages at our City facilities... To begin with, Pepsi should never have had exclusive contracts here in Columbus where Coca Cola was invented, and local investors used Coca Cola share growth as its main source of local Foundation funding.

WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Columbus GA adopts ‘Safe Streets for All’ plan to reduce traffic deaths, injuries" --  The number one way to reduce pedestrian deaths and injuries on our streets would be to ban dark clothing after “first dusk moment” daily.

---
Online headline: "Sorry, KBJ: America is a democracy, never meant for rule by unelected experts" – Hmmm… US Supreme Court Justices are empowered to interpret and protect our Constitution, not change or rewrite it… so how does a Supreme Court Justice get nominated, much less confirmed, that OBVIOUSLY doesn't understand our Constitution?

---
Online headline: "Hamas grows ranks to 20,000 terrorists, fills coffers with tariffs — as Israel questions whether peacekeepers can disarm them" -- Hmmm.... Which countries or businesses are paying tariffs to HamASS to ship their goods into Gaza? We need a full list of names so they can be banned from shipping their goods "into-or-out of" the USA!

---
Online headline: "Pritzker signs bill to further shield illegal immigrants in Illinois from deportations" --  Reality is that they are "illegal aliens", not illegal immigrants... hmmm .. what's the next ploy by Gov PUTZker...to rename them "non-legal or waiting-to-be  citizens"?

---
Online headline: "Canada's US Travel Boycott Backfires at Border" -- Hmmm .... Looks like the "Snowbirds" will be spending all their usually planned-travel-to-America money on much higher winter heating utilities.

---
According to Wane Hailes headline: "Columbus Mayor Has the Right to Pause the Search for City Manager" --  Seems Mayor Skippy the POO is confirming  that Columbus GA  operating without a City Manager for what could be more than a year indicates that two Deputy City Managers & a City Manager aren't really needed...

PRICES are down! Overall..especially gas...bought some regular in Columbus GA for $2.429 a gallon last week... and that includes more than 50¢ in state and local taxes ..in other words, less than $2.00 a gallon for the actual product. While "beef" is up, that's because of Biden policies reaching full effect now, but that'll change as well!

---
Online headline: “Secretary of State Raffensperger challenges state fundraising laws” --  RATTensperger’s right on this… but the only solution is one that the Supreme Court will have to establish… and that is to limit politicians from accepting direct donations from individuals who cannot vote in a politicians local or state or National Election. and PAC’s from donating fiscal support to an individual unless over 50% of such groups are eligible to vote for said candidate. Oh! But don't vote for him... while he's not a DemoKrat, he's closer to a RINO than a conservative.

---
Online headline: "Ex-Synovus employee banned from banking industry after misappropriating money" --  Shouldn't his current address be in a jail?

---
Online headline: “MN fraudsters blew taxpayer cash on luxuries out of reach for most Americans, feds say * More than 70 individuals charged in the sprawling 'Feeding Our Future' fraud scheme" --  Whoa! And every one of them needs to be audited to see any political donations were made to Minnesota politicians!

Despite news that 2025 will be the last year of "penny" production in the US, there will actaully be a new 2026 'Penny'! Yes, our to-be-born-in-April-of-2026-granddaughter, has been official designated as  "Penny" (for Penelope) who will grace our world.
