WTVM-TV-9 online headline: "Columbus GA affordable housing development brings 90 new units for low-income families" --  Good grief!  Columbus GA Housing Authority is tap-dancing around the truth! What's "affordable" about 90 apartments of 1,200 sq ft (or less) that cost $27,000,000 to build on property Columbus ALREADY OWNED.... that's $300,000.00 per unit, which is $250.00 a sq ft (or $300 per sq ft if apts are only 1,000 sq ft)! On top of that, taxpayers ... especially those who own their own homes WITHOUT "government assistance", the supplements paid are taken out of their pockets in additional taxes...Oh! And how much  will be collected in property taxes to help pay for the ADDITIONAL police, fire, and garbage services...my guess is little or none...

When Jon Ossoff  first ran for a Senate seat from GA, I heard he'd been some sort of aide for Congressman John Lewis, which gave him pretty good standings in GA politics... but in reading his bio on Wikipedia after reading another article, I found out 🚽  Ossoff actually was the legislative aide for Hank "the Island is sinking" Johnson! Hell, 🚽 Ossoff may have been the source of Johnson's stupidity, and now 🚽 Ossoff represents Georgia to America. Georgia got screwed by the DemoKrats and LEFTist Media.. again!

WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Columbus GA  law enforcement reports crime decrease as 2025 ends" --  Wait a minute! Last January, the Columbus GA Police Department  figure for homicides was reported at 33 for 2024. But in this new report for only 27 homicides in 2025, last year's homicide comparison figure was reported at 35... We have to wonder if Columbus Council gets an AUDITED report for crime numbers or just a hearsay one....Or at least Columbus' Chief of Public Safety, Mayor Skippy the POO, should have to verify the Police Reports under oath!

The Wilson Apartments were renovated with new shingles, paint, and cosmetic tweaking for about $37 Million several years ago, and now new apartments at Victory Drive & Veterans Pkwy were bid out at over $300,000.00 per UNIT (at 1,000 sq ft, that's about $300 dollars per square ft...
