I just noticed something ....in 2000, Columbus GA was split about 50/50
between Congressional Districts 2 & 3. Today, District 2 has
about 90% of Columbus, and District 3 has about 10% isolated in the NW corer of
Columbus, GA.....No wonder the GA Republican Party pretty much ignores
Columbus..

Did I miss it? Even though the "dedication" didn't occur until
September of 1926, the Columbus GA High School main building on Cherokee Ave
was built in 1926..... That makes this the 100th Anniversary ....aren't
100ths worthy of celebrating?
