There were a few surprises in Columbus GA elections yesterday… One was the almost absence of new votes in South Columbus GA following 3 weeks of “early” voting….Second was the much lower percent of votes “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley finally got on election day and overall…maybe  South Columbus voters were not as blind as “I-see-a-nothing” hoped they would still be..Oh… congrats to Charmaine Crabb for her re-election to Council Post 5 after leftist criticism about her taking gutsy hard positions that help Columbus’ future, and to the winners in Council Posts 1 & 3.. We’ll have to return in 4 weeks to get definitive results in Council Post 7 (Maybe ‘None of the Above’ will win this one this time) and Post 9 and for Mayor.. The only unexpected  surprise was how DemoKrats abandoned the legacy of retired State Senator Ed Harbison…and the biggest disappointment was that 3 School Board members (Posts 6, 8 & 9) who have no improvements to show for  reading & math test scores were overwhelmingly re-elected… I was especially shocked at Mark Cantrell getting 76% of the votes in Post 6… all I can figure is a lot of teachers and school employees live in District 6 and have real sway with these low turnout election in May than there would be in November elections.

Hey... don't think Jeffries will care if SEC teams lose more games , either...and don't expect Jeffries to let DemoKrat Congresspersons in SEC states vote differently. I think we now know why the DemoKrat politicians are SO AGAINST the White House Ballroom being built by President Trump... TRUMP and other DONORS are paying for it, not the taxpayers! That is why the DemoKrats are upset... If it WAS a tax issue, then the House would have to vote for it, and tax bills are DemoKrats favorite way to add unrelated spending bills that DemoKrats can use to pay back their donors.
