From the "brilliant" deparment - Online story: "Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Sunday that the FBI is looking into whether the mother of one of the San Bernardino attackers knew anything about the shooting in advance. * "Obviously it's something that we're looking at very, very closely," Lynch told NBC's "Meet the Press," when asked about what the woman may or may have not known before the massacre." -- Let's see.. what are the options...1 - with the home being booby trapped, and she and the baby were there.. the mom knew...2 - if the mom wasn't there in the booby trapped home... she knew..So, if there's any question in Lynch's mind.. "brilliant"...NOT!

---
Another from the "brilliant" department - Online headline: "Iran's latest move mocks Obama's nuke agreement * U.S. officials said Monday the nation allegedly tested a new missile in a breach of U.N. sanctions, which are in place until a nuclear deal is finalized." -- Good grief..  Obamageddon and Kerry are so use to lying, neither can fault another liar.. Obamageddon and Kerry... "brilliant"... NOT!

---
Online headline: "As many as 200 sickened in Seattle" -- Ooooops, my bad.. thought this was a poll on how many in Seattle were sickened by G.I. JILLary's stance on Islamic terrorism that they have decided not to vote for her.

---
You see all the polls about whether some...or if any.. of the Republicans can beat G.I. JILLary next November, but why do any mainscream media polls even assume she can beat any of the Republicans? Good grief.. she's having a tough time even getting 50% of the Democrats vote against. "anyone but JILLary: and Bernie.

---
You know.. there's more talk about the origin on "Stonehenge".. that it may have been in Wales, them dismantled and moved to Wiltshire, England. I'm just curious as to why there is still "marvel" at a manmade object.. if you want "marvel" just look at a newborn baby or a towering mountain that God created.

---
Online headline: "World’s Worst Airline for Customer Service" -- Answer... ..drum roll please... (fill in the blank).

---
From the "what the ____" department: Friday, I made an online purchase, and got same day confirmation the product was picked up by FedEX..Saturday Morning, I got a FedEX tracking number and it re-confirmed it was in the FedEX system. Yesterday I entered the tracking number and it didn't show any "update" as to where the package "is", so I sent a "feedback" e-mail asking why my delivery info wasn't showing any updates. I got a response a few hours later.. only it was from FedEX Canada telling me they have no clue about what's being shipped in the US. It's TUesday AM.. still know change in the FedEX info, and no e-mail response from FedEX USA..

---
Got another e-mail from the G.I. JILLary campaign camp.. This time it's from Huma Abedin reminding us that she's a "proud Muslim" and she's "Vice Chair of Hillary for America". Hmm.. Does anyone recall any other "proud Muslims" who are married to a Jew, and what's her job as "Vice Chair" for G.I. JILary.. keeping Bill entertained?

Note on above item: Huma Abedin's message was about Trump's stance on Muslim's being banned or screened closer. Even says Trump "goes far enough to damage our country's reputation and could even threaten our national security". She doesn't mention any of the other Republican candidates at all.. This really sorta shows, perhaps fully illuminates, where JILLary's fears are.. that Trump will be the Republican nominee.

---
In response to Trump's outrage and passion for making America "great ..again", Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) said that Trump's statement about temporarily barring more Muslims from coming into America yet again proved that the real-estate mogul is unfit for higher office.  Huh? What America needs to do is stop feeling/thinking politically correct, career politicians can.. or will.. run this country well. It's a lack of resolve and passion in the White House that have undermined the respect even 3rd World counties have for America.

Online headline/story: "Whispers persist that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor  *  On the 74th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, rumors resurge that the president allowed the attacks to occur so Congress would join the war. *  Some claim there is evidence to suggest that President Franklin Roosevelt knew about plans for the attack in advance, and allowed it to happen specifically to justify entering the war. *  Within 24 hours, Congress had reversed its position of neutrality in World War II, declaring war on Japan and starting the chain of events that led to the U.S. forces joining the full war."  --  "Within 24 hours, Congress had reversed its position of neutrality in World War II"? Hmm.. guess what.. the Senate and the House were also Democrat majorities.. sorta remind you of the first two years of Obamageddon's and Clinton's reigns? And how Clinton failed to take out Osama bin Laden in the mid 1990s when he had the chance,, and how Obamageddon pulled American troops out of the mid-east which has allowed ISIS to emerge..

---
You know.. it's not the "beautiful" passages of the Quran that bother me.. it's the ones that demand death to non-Muslims that get my current attention...

There's a ratings list of the best/worst places to retire. There were 4 considerations, but the one comcerning healthcare costs is probably the most telling one. The bottom 15 out of the list of 150 cities, including their rank in healthcare costs, is:

136 Fontana, CA                                   135
137 Buffalo, NY                                     127
138 Washington, DC                              123
139 San Bernardino, CA                         119
140 Philadelphia, PA                              105
141 Detroit, MI                                       148
142 Worcester, MA                                132
143 Boston, MA                                      99
144 Chicago, IL                                      143
145 Yonkers, NY                                    138
146 New York, NY                                  147
147 Aurora, IL                                         145
148 Providence, RI                                  146
149 Jersey City, NJ                                 149
150 Newark, NJ                                       150

What's really condemning is that all these states voted for Obamageddon and, providing 169 of the necessary 270 Electoral votes to elect him in 2008, and provided 98 of the 218 votes Nancy Pelosi asked to pass OObamaCRAP without reading it.

Now for solely interest sake, Columbus only ranked 69th worst in healthcare costs, but that's somewhat tainted as we have so many veterans retired here that have to seek treatments elsewhere at VA Clinics.

Oh.. did you see the interview of G.I. JILLary by ABC's George Stephanopoulos?  Softball questions aside.. did you see any disclaimers that he donated $75,000.00 to the Clinton Foundations? Me.neither,,, of course it may have come after the first two questions, but I was about to gag so I switched to another channel.

Online NYT's story: "Calling for all Muslims to be barred from entering the United States, Mr. Trump cited a poll released in June by an organization called the Center for Security Policy. The group said that an online survey of 600 Muslims living in the United States found that 25 percent agreed with the statement that “violence against Americans here in the United States can be justified as part of the global jihad.” Mr. Trump vouched for the group at a rally on Monday night. But the poll — conducted by the Polling Company, a Republican firm — is in no way truly representative of all Muslim Americans because of its methodology. In addition, some of the questions were leading and biased." --

---
Online headline: "Demand for 1 job increased over 300 percent in 3 years" -- Oooops, my first guess was IRS agent, and my second was OObamaCRAP interpreter, but I guess I should have guessed "Physician's Assistant (PA) as since there aren't enough doctors to go around as it is.

From the "whoever would have thought we'd ever see this from HuffPOOPOO" department - HuffPOOPOO story: "In 2014, under the slogan "Energy access simplified", Greenpeace supplied Dharnai with a solar powered "micro-grid" - an electric grid that's not connected to India's central grid.  *  Greenpeace writes that "Dharnai refused to give into the trap of the fossil fuel industry." That is a somewhat loose paraphrasing of what the people who lived there wanted for themselves.  *  You see, back in 2010, Dharnai's inhabitants had collected $680 in the hope of buying their way into the power grid, which in the majority of India is supplied by coal-fired power plants. Four years later, still with no electricity, Greenpeace swooped in to the rescue with a solar system.  *  Today, power from the solar system costs up to three times as much as power from the central power grid, and it also requires the use of energy-efficient light bulbs, which cost 66 times more than normal light bulbs." -- Ha-ha-ha! Even the HuffPOOPOO is poopooing Greenpeace.. and solar energy!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Judge Grants Bail To Oscar Pistorius Pending Sentencing For Murder" -- Good grief.. bet the judge ordered his to wear a GPS anklet... around his removable and interchangeable prosthetic legs, too. Wanna bet when he leaves the country?

HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Former Drone Pilots Denounce 'Morally Outrageous' Program" -- Drone PILOTS"?  Can anybody "see" Randy Quaid strapping on a saddle and riding the drone in for a kill?

Online headline/story: "Supreme Court From Itself * The biggest voting rights case of the year may depend on a few sentences that never saw the light of day -- until now.  *  Some 50 years ago, a Supreme Court footnote disappeared from the annals of history.  *  But as the Supreme Court gears up to tackle Evenwel v. Abbott, a politically charged voting rights case, this long-lost footnote from 1966 becomes more prescient than ever.  *  At the core of Evenwel, which the court hears on Tuesday, is the 14th Amendment's "one person, one vote" principle -- a tenet Americans understand to be fundamental as a matter of civics, even though few truly grasp what it means or where it came from  *  Maybe the Constitution is to blame. "One person, one vote" is nowhere in its text. Yet the Supreme Court allowed it to creep in, little by little, starting with the landmark Baker v. Carr in 1962 -- a case Chief Justice Earl Warren came to regard as more important than even Brown v. Board of Education  *  Or as the court put it in Baker, the 14th Amendment requires that a person's right to vote be "free of arbitrary impairment by state action."  *  That sounds like a laudable result. But not so for Pepperdine University law professor Derek Muller, the discoverer of the lost footnote. His research has led him to conclude that Baker and the cases that followed it -- including 1964's Reynolds v. Sims, which cemented "one person, on vote" as a constitutional maxim -- were all a big mistake.  *  Evenwel is a dangerous case because the challengers -- two Republican voters from Texas  *
They want the justices to read the "one person, one vote" principle to prohibit states from drawing legislative districts based on total population, currently the most popular method. Instead, they argue the principle compels the creation of equal districts based on the total number of eligible voters in the state. All as a matter of constitutional law.  *   a problem with such a sweeping result, as many election experts have observed, is that those hit hardest would include Latino immigrants and their families, children, people behind bars and those with mental illness. All stand to lose political clout if the Supreme Court blesses a rubric where only eligible voters count for map-drawing purposes." -- "Problem"? Why is "only eligible voters" a problem? Eligible voters are the ones with a stake and paying for the responsibilities of their states.

I'm for concealed carry on college campuses.. why shouldn't law abiding citizen/students be able to protect themselves from rampant shooters and annoying liberals..

---
Incredibly dumb and stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff" (and 40 lashes with a wet noodle for Dusty Nix for printing it):  " Republicans in Congress have voted to let terrorists and the mentally ill buy guns. Insanity!" Reagn was so under informed about how ignorant libs would become are compared to when he said, "libs know so much about what isn't so".

---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “War does not determine who is right — only who is left.” — Author unknown (although this sentiment is sometimes attributed to Bertrand Russell). -- Now. let your president and Comgressiona, representatives, especially if they Democrats, that you want to be one of the people left!

Online story: "The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected a challenge by gun rights activists to a Chicago suburb's ordinance banning assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, handing a victory to gun control advocates amid a fierce debate over the nation's firearms laws. * The Highland Park measure bans various semi-automatic weapons, including well-known guns such as the AR-15 and AK-47, in addition to magazines holding more than 10 rounds of bullets." -- You know, can any Supreme Court Justice show where any criminal will obey the Highland Park law? Can any Supreme Court Justice show why law abiding citizens cannot be as well equipped to defend their own and their families' lives?

Hillary Clinton leads the Republican presidential field in hypothetical general-election match-ups, with Ben Carson and Marco Rubio running the closest to her, according to a new national MSNBC/Telemundo/Marist poll.

And with just one exception, the margin of Clinton's lead among Latino voters determines just how competitive each match-up is. * Clinton's biggest lead is against current GOP frontrunner Donald Trump: She's ahead of him by 11 points among all voters, 52 percent to 41 percent, and a whopping 42 points among Latino voters, 69 percent to 27 percent. -- What BS.. just mainscream media trying to get Trump off the ballot and keep the RNC preoccupied with helping it.

Good grief...the officials of San Bernardino spoke yesterday about their grief...in a grieving demeanor.. Where's the rage about what happened and what hasn't happened by Obamageddon"s lack of grasp of Islamic terrorism? Where's the leadership from elected and government officials of San Bernardino? The wimpy responses just have to strengthen the resolve of other Islamic terrorists in the US.

---
Remember yesterday's mention of how the Venezuelan president would use a military-civil government to keep his power, but wouldn't violate the Constoitution as he believes it to be? Well, yesterdayAG Loretta Lynch sounded a lot like the president of Venezuela in her promise to  honor the Constitution as she purges the 1st Amendment as she and Obamageddon believe to be. LOck and load!

When was the last time you saw/heard about an Amish man running home, getting his wife and weapons and going back to shoot someone because he was teased about his beard?

Hey JILLary.. explain what difference this makes:

Monday, December 7, 2015

First .. today is December 7th...let us remember this day in infamy and the rebirth of American resolve.

Now, the Weekend Update:

Obamageddon scheduled a speech for Sunday night to reassure America about our safety. I was hoping he was going to take a page out of the U of Missouri event...and resign.

Online headline: "Obama: America will overcome 'new phase' of terror * 'We cannot turn against one another'" -- "cannot turn against one another"? That should be easy to correct.. all we need is for Obamageddon to announce he and the DOJ are "For America".

---
That California attack.... Obamageddon finally admitted it was an act of terrorism..now he just has to admit his assault on our Constitution is also an act of terrorism.

---
Online headline: "Donald Trump on Obama's national-security address: 'Is that all there is?'" -- Yep.. Trump is right... again... and as usual.... and succinct!

---
One thing for sure we can count on about what the White House will do is to downplay the presence of Tafsheen Malik. She single handedly has undermined Obamageddon's argument about women/wives as refugees.

---
From the "foxes guarding the henhouse" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: "Department Of Justice To Investigate Chicago Police: Report" -- and you think that the Lois Lerner clearance was suspicious?

---
Online headline: "Clinton says term 'radical Islam' an injustice to vast majority of Muslims" -- Vast majority"? Syria had 22,000,000 people.. 4,000,000 have left, another 250,000 have been executed .. that means 17,750,000 must think that being Muslim is "OK" , and that means those 17,750,000, the vast majority out of 22,000,000  don't think of themselves as radicals.. That's not what it appears to me.

---
Online headline: "Bush donor says if Trump wins the nomination, he'll vote for Hillary" -- Hmmm.. that about kills Bush's chances since the donor puts Bush closer to G.I. Jillary (which Bush's polling numbers support) than Trump. On the other hand, the RNC should probably make all major donors sign the same pledge as the candidates did.

---
HuffPOOPOO "headLIE": "Don't Forget That Climate Change Strengthens ISIS * by Eugene Jarecki *  This post was originally published at TIME.com." -- and more Obamageddon Kool-Aid makes this seem absolutely brilliant.. I hope G.I. Jillary and Bernie get asked to respond to this in their next debate...

---
Online story: "In Obamageddon's speech..."For example, right now, people on the No-Fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane. If you're too dangerous to board a plane, you're too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun. " -- You know.. the Obamageddon's own folks run the departments that make the decisions about issuing gun permits, if the federal "no fly" lists aren't used in screening guns capable of being smuggled onto planes, then Obamageddon must accept personal responsibility for this.

---
You know.. if a person is convicted of mass or multiple/serial murders, immediate executions, within a week or less, should be included in the sentencing. Obviously, all rights of appeal should be eliminated.

---
Online "headLIE"/story: "San Bernardino shooter was teased about beard, family lawyers say  *  had been made fun of by his co-workers for his beard, his family's lawyers claimed Friday.  *  " -- Good grief.. ..."regular" people rush home, get the wife, don military gear and weapons and return to where he had worked for five years, and open fire on whomever is around in retaliation because someone "teased" him about his beard. Yeah.. right..

---
Online story: "Scientists believe they may have found the key to living forever -- or at least 25 percent longer." -- Good grief.. we can't afford this as a country.. especially if you're working and paying taxes.. Democrats would want to raise the Social Security retirement age so those not working could have their welfare benefits extended for those living on government largesse.

---
Online headline/story: "Coca-Cola apologizes for ‘insensitive’ ad featuring indigenous Mexicans *  The ad, part of Coke’s “Open Your Heart” campaign, has been criticized for white hipster-like people building a Coca-Cola tree for the underprivileged villagers and delivering them coolers filled with soda.  *  The Alliance for Food Health, a coalition of consumer rights and health groups, wants the Mexican government to block the ad, saying it is an attack on the dignity of indigenous people. It also says the ad contributes to the deteriorating health of Mexico's indigenous communities. Mexico is a major consumer of soda and other sugared drinks and has skyrocketing rates of obesity and diabetes. The average Mexican consumes 43 gallons of soda per year, with Coca-Cola controlling a vast majority of the market share." --  First.. shame on Coca Cola... FOR APOLOGIZING!  Compassion is not" insensitive"!  Hmmm.. the "Alliance for Food Health" says  "the ad contributes to the deteriorating health of Mexico's indigenous communities."  Good grief.. then why isn't the "Alliance for Food Health" protesting that the Mexican government get its act together and clean up the water sources for safe and healthy human consumption?

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela's president, recently announced that if the opposition were to gain a majority in the National Assembly in elections this Sunday, "We would not give up the revolution and ... we would govern with the people in a civil-military union." To ensure that no one would accuse him of not being a true democrat, he clarified that "we would do this with the constitution in hand." The president conveniently ignored the small detail that the constitution does not have any provision for a "civil-military" government." --  "president conveniently ignored the small detail that the constitution does not have any provision for a "civil-military" government"?  Hmmm..."conveniently ignore the Constitution"... maybe Obamageddon does have "some influence" with other socialist leaders...

---
You know, Obamageddon has recently been taking away DOD donations of armored and riot control vehicles and high-tec weapons from local police departments across America. Combined with all his firings of top military brass that have disagreed with him, we might need to take an inventory check on who Obamageddon has put in charge.. especially the ones in charge of the nuclear missile buttons.

---
Online story: "Secretary of State John Kerry warned Israel on Saturday about the dangers of the possible collapse of the Palestinian Authority, saying it would lead to a situation that would threaten the security of Israel and the Palestinian people." -- Good grief.. when did someone give him a V-8 forehead bump?

---
How about some truth in advertising..No, not for political ads because that won't happen as long as Democrats can run for office, but how about pillow ads? How can a pillow help you achieve "deep REM sleep"? REM sleep is an acronym for Rapid Eye Movement which occurs during LIGHT sleep time when you dream.

---
There was a Goodyear blimp covering the Falcon's game. In these days, a "blimp" attack at a major stadium would be quite a terrorist coupe... in fact there was a movie about such in 1977.. "Black Sunday"..

---
Dr Pepper needs to rethink its scholarship game during halftime at the SEC Championship game. Having two people trying to ring the hole with footballs tossed into a giant soda can should not look like two-handed push shots from the free throw line.

---
There are 40 bowl games this year...80 teams will be playing..some of those..by necessity, will have 5-7 records..I vote for cutting bowl games in half.

---
Online story: "Ted Cruz offered an impassioned defense of gun rights in the wake of the San Bernardino terrorist attack on Friday, telling a crowd at an Iowa gun range, "you don't stop bad guys by taking away our guns, you stop bad guys by using our guns." * Cruz criticized the media for focusing on gun control in the wake of the shootings, telling his supporters: "Folks in the media ask on behalf of Democrats, 'isn't it insensitive to do a Second Amendment rally after the shooting.' I really don't view our job as being sensitive to Islamic terrorists." -- Ted Cruz is right.. the time to support the 2nd Amendment and shout down liberals is now and in the next election..while taxpayers are sensing the abandonment of personal safety  that Democrats want to achieve.

---
You know...the bowl committee, especially the playoff committee, need to get their act together..as of Saturday AM, Michigan State, ranked 5th, was line favored over home team Iowa, ranked 4th, in their championship game. We'll soon know whether Las Vegas or the NCAA should be the selector group for the playoffs.

---
Soapbox Moment:
Looking at the holiday schedule for garbage pick-up in Columbus.. just the garbage.. not recycling or lawn debris... When Mayor TomLYINGson first presented "her plan", it was to generate $250,000.00 in annual savings (that would have saved the average household less than $4.00 a year).. then she came back and said it would save the City $500,000.00 (yep, that would save the average household less than $8.00 a year).. Somehow, that passed Council's muster. Now we see that instead of picking two days a week, the garbage pick-ups are still 4 days a week. How come all of it cannot be picked up on two days as it was possible to get half the city done each pick-up day when we got twice-a-week service?

Now, the way I see it.. the two biggest ongoing (and scalable) costs are fuel and labor.. I can see saving about $10,000.00 per week if fuel and labor cost are only generated twice a week rather than 4 times, but that's not what's happening. The holiday schedule says there are still garbage pick-ups 4 days a week Why?

I'd also like to see a cost break down of how $10,000.00 a week can be generated when trucks are manned and using fuel the same amount of days as before.

---
Columbus just recorded its 18th murder of 2015.. in fairness to Mayor TomLYINGson, compared to Chicago, percentage wise, Columbus would have only 243 killed by guns if Columbus' population was as large as Chicago.

---
Hmmm.. does anyone know how many people have been shot, but not killed, on the streets of Columbus this year who didn't die? It seems we're reading about shootings 2 or 3 times a week.

---
There was an interview in the L-E Sunday with our Parks & Rec director, DR James Worsley. Here's a question not asked: If Columbus's Aquatic Center will lose $500,000.00 per year in to stay open for these events, how is staging theses events going to be a positive for the taxpayers? To boot.. the competition is NAIA.. not the NCAA.

---
The nerve of G.I. JILLary... she sent me a survey which I tried to send in, but it was kicked back because I didn't check off a category  that only had options to praise her past performances:

Why are you with Hillary? (check all that apply)
She’ll fight for me and my family
She’s a progressive who gets things done
She has a track record of success
She will be a great Commander in Chief
She’s going to be the first woman president

Unlike G.I. JILLary, I was raised not to lie. Today, I got another e-mail asking me to complete her earlier survey form. Yeah ..right.. like it'll let me send it in.. You know, this is her number one problem.. not only can she not speak the truth, she doesn't want to hear the truth.

---
Online story: "The Daily News has continued its streak of imaginative front-page covers since last week's mass shooting in San Bernardino, California. * The New York tabloid first stirred controversy by blasting Republican politicians for only offering "prayers" in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, which left 14 dead. Its provocative headline was "GOD ISN'T FIXING THIS," and the cover went on to attack "cowards" for not enacting gun-control measures in response. * In subsequent covers, the News doubled and tripled down on its attacks against the gun lobby. But the News will take a completely different tack on Monday, according to a Sunday-night tweet from the newspaper. * "To all those who have been offended by hearing the truth about our nation's gun scourge & the NRA & cowardly pols who think nothing's wrong: Everything is awesome!" the latest cover declared." -- "To all those who have been offended by hearing the truth"?  Good grief.. the "Daily News" does not know the truth.. nor would print it if it did.. The only cure for the situations of too many shootings in major cities is tougher penalties for gun crimes.. Death should be automatic and carried out within a week of convictions so those thinking there is a future in joining gangs would have something to really think about.

---
Online "headlie": "Price of a burger set to plummet for unusual reason" -- Oooops, thought it was because of Chick - fil - A ads... of course, the headline is a "headlie" because burgers won't be cheaper... just the meat they're made with..

---
From the "look what I randomly ran across on the I-net" department.. Did ypu know that 13 states collect taxes on your Social Security Income? What's worse is that 7 of those states voted for Romney in 2012.

Online headline: "Carter says cancer is gone from brain" -- Praise God! Now we'll see if he's truly cured by whether or not he retracts his membership from the Democratic Party.

Online headline: "Expert argues Tamir Rice was shot with his hands in pockets" -- Good grief.. what's the plaintiff's lawyer going to do.. "Photo-Shop " the video?

---
Online headline: "Carson slams transgender people in military  *  The GOP candidate told veterans at a town hall Saturday that he doesn't appreciate 'using our military as a laboratory for social experimentation.'" -- Carson is right... who wants their back covered by someone who's confused about who "she-it" is?

---
Online headline: "Calif. shooters reportedly planned to strike again" -- What a condemnation of Obamageddon! Two suicide jihadists "feeling" the police wouldn't shoot at them without prior White House approval..

---
L-E headline/story: "Inquirer: New problems surfacing with 11th Street closing *  Concerned downtown readers, frustrated by the city having to close 11th Street at Broadway to make sewer repairs, had better get used to it. While it might get a little better soon, workers have found a new subterranean problem near the one they just repaired.  *  If there is good news, it's that the city is going to hold off until after the holidays. (I can say holidays because I don't live in Harris County.)" --  You know, back in the early mid-90s, the CWW held a gun to our heads that if we didn't pass a $100,000,000 dollar bond issue, it would have to triole our rates to do the repairs necessary to our sewer system.  The CWW also promised that with this bond revenue, it would correct ALL of the old problems so Columbus would not suffer from problems such as this.  Columbus taxpayers gave the CWW what it asked for.. it's the CWW that has failed Columbus.

Oh, and as far as Owen's cheap comment that "I can say holidays because I don't live in Harris County".. Merry Christmas,  (_*_)wen.

'Now, the CWW is campaigning for another bond issue to pay for what should be paid for by developers, and Mayor TomLYINGson has just sent the bond ratings for Columbus sky-rocketing up by reducing our "fund balance" below the all important 60 day level. When it comes up, just saym "Bah, Humbug!"
---
L-E Headline: "Police arrest mother of newborn baby who was buried alive" -- You know, it almost seems sort of hypocritical to arrest a woman for burying her baby alive when partial birth abortions are legal infanticide in abortion clinics.
---

L-E story: "(Kirby) Smart will also receive bonuses for participating in various bowl games. A College Football Playoff appearance is worth $500,000 and a national championship appearance is worth $600,000. A Sugar, Rose, Cotton, Orange, Fiesta or Peach Bowl appearance will net him $200,000. Appearing in the Citrus Bowl is worth $100,000. Getting a berth in the TaxSlayer, Outback, Belk, Music City, Texas and Liberty Bowl would earn Smart $75,000. Smart would receive $50,000 by going to the Birmingham Bowl." -- Good grief.. why are bonuses set for lesser bowl games.. UGA should just make it mandatory the coach show up for a lesser bowl so there will be evidence compiled to replace him in the following year or two.

Typical Obamageddon position

Saturday, December 5, 2015

I may have missed it if it's been covered by CNN or MSNBC, but I fully expect some lawyer to file a wrongful death suit against San Bernardino for making the terrorists' baby an orphan.

---
It took 3 days of looking death in the eye, but the FBI has finally called the San Bernardino "terrorist attack" a terrorist attack. Wonder who Obamageddon  will appoint as the next FBI director?

---
Just for the record: There was "rationale" in electing/re-electing Bush 43 --- Gore and Kerry were the options. In a way, there was "rationale" in electing Obamageddon--- McCain --- but not in re-electing him. There is no "rationale" in electing G.I. Jillary.

---
Got an e-mail from G.I. Jillary yesterday.. she said "let me know if you are in"... In this day and time, who needs a president that doesn't know where I stand?

---
The New York Daily News ran a headline... uh.. "headlie" that "God Isn't Fixing This" following the San Bernardino Islamist terrorist attack. Only a person of little or no faith would conceive an opinion such as this.. This is not God's problem to fix. God has endowed us with this ability, and stands with us who stand with Him. We just need to stand with the leaders He has put before us who will fix this.

---
You know.. that NY Daily News "headlie" demonstrates what has happened to liberals.. .. whether it's God or government.. liberals feel they can sit back, complain, do nothing, offer no help, and God or government is going to do everything for them.

---
Online story: ""To every survivor of sexual assault...You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We're with you." —Hillary" -- Hmmm... What about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and/or Paula Jones?

---
We don't have an education problem, we have a lack of good and proper education problem.

---
Online horror story: "the Assistant Chief of Police in Miami who is also a Muslim refuses to pay tribute to the flag, it’s easy to surmise that her beliefs have something to do with disrespecting the flag, which had Fraternal Order of Police President Javier Ortiz livid after he witnessed the action or inaction of Assistant Chief of Police Anita Najiy."  -- See for yourself http://usherald.com/video-muslim-police-chief-shows-this-act-of-complete-disrespect-to-america-and-is-under-heavy-fire-for-it/

---
From the "could it simply be" department - Online headline: "US is running out of bombs for 'long fight' against ISIS * The U.S. and a host of allies are now rushing to ensure a stable supply of weapons, but top arms makers are straining to meet the surging demand. * Why problem may take years to fix" -- "why problem may take years to fix"? Let's see .. could it simply be because Obamageddon has 1 year and 6 weeks left in office, and like when Bush 43 took over from Clinton, it took 18 months after 9-11-01 to rebuild our military capabilities that the preceding Democrat president had dismantled?

---
That kid in Irving, TX who brought his "homemade clock" to school.. the one that has a lawyer suing the city and school systems.. I have a question for the lawyer.. how are you going to get that"evidence" to the court room? I cannot think of a "Security Screener" letting that contraption into the Court House.

Our CSU Ladiy Cougars go for the NCAA Division II soccer championship today.. be pulling and praying for them!

L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE ECONOMY MAKES SLOW RECOVERY * POVERTY RATES A CHALLENGE THROUGHOUT THE REGION * U.S. census bureau provides data showing lasting impact of recession * In 2014, the poverty rate in Muscogee was around 20 percent, compared to about 19 percent in 2009 * Benjamin Blair, director of the Butler Center for Business and Economic Research at Columbus State University, said the changes in the poverty rate are statistically insignificant, but they reveal the lingering impact of the recession." -- Hmmm.. from 2009 to 2014...poverty rate up.. recession lingering...Hey.. this is Mayor TomLYINGson's "legacy". She's spent her energy (and our tax dollars" on "White Elephant" projects - Dog run, bike trails, natatorium, Queen TT $244K Lounge, ) on whims, eating up our fund balance, and trying to raise our taxes.

---
From above story: " However, there are certain sectors that are doing better than others, he said, most of those jobs requiring a college education." -- Good grief.. and 75% our high school graduates are performing below the state averages on the GA Milestone tests. Oh.. and let's not forget that "average" is either the "best of the worst,or worst of the best"..

---
L-E story: "With a flick of a smart phone switch, Columbus became the first “Safe City” in the world today.
 * At a formal announcement beside the Eagle-Phenix condominiums, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson capped a brief presentation of the new Piper app by activating a network of more than 1,000 beacons around Columbus that will communicate with users by smart phone." -- Hmmm... what an appropriate location to kick-off a Mayor TomLYINGson whim expense.. The Eagle-Phenix Condominiums have the lowest property taxes in the entire city. The CEO of the Ccompany that develpoed the E & P Condos lives there in a $996,000.00 valued condo and paid $5.60 in property taxes in 2015..  That's about $2.24 to the City and $3.36 to the MCSD.

Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Eighty-five percent of people in this country are locked up for substance abuse. Treatment is a much more humane and sensible approach. Good people are locked up and this only hurts them more." -- Good grief.. here's another of those libs pinpointed by Reagan,.. "libs know so much that just isn't so"...Let's start with his/her "fact".. 85% of the people in this country are locked up for substance abuse  if 85% of the people in America were locked up, that would mean less that 50 Million people were not in prison.. now if he/she meant 85% of criminal, he/she simply didn't do a Google search which would show less than 50% of prisoners are incarcerated on drug offenses, but that includes the drug dealers and manufacturers as well.

---
Another Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff":  "   If you can collect all the money that the Republicans and one-percenters don’t pay because of loopholes, Social Security and disability as they were meant to be, we would be in fine shape." -- Good grief.. truth is that if the 1-percenters paid their "fair share".. there wouldn't be any unearned tax refunds for Democrat voters.

---

L-E story: " President Barack Obama has signed into law a $305 billion bill that provides a modest increase in spending over the next five years to maintain and upgrade the nation’s aging transportation network." -- Wait a minute.. why is Obamageddon getting "the credit" for this bill.. it was poassed in both Houses of Congress which are Republican majorities. One other note.. G.I. Jillary's "big joib plane" is to pass a $275 Billion dollar infrastructure bill.. looks like she was asleep when that 3:00 AM call came in.

---
Listening to Obamageddon tap dance around truth about this and other terrorist attacks, why would even yellow dog Democrats want another president who's going to lie to them about what's going on?

---
Now we hear that neighbors of the terrorists had seen covert activities at the terrorists' home, but we're afraid to speak out because they could see the mainscream media and the DOJ persecuting them for profiling/bigotry. In addition, some lawyers would sue them and get big bucks from liberal courts which would further fund the terrorists activities. Political correctness will be the death of America as we use to know it.

---
One of the (_*_)s that killed 14 in Sanctuary city San Bernardino actually worked for "the government". If " the government" cannot ..will not "vet" the employees, why should we trust government to "vet" refugees?

---
I'm tired of American Muslims speaking out about being upset at radical Muslim's but not doing anything to stop it. When the creepy Westboro church started crashing veterans' funerals, Christians stepped up to the plate and got in between the Westboro hatred and the grieving families of our vets. Heck, even the LGBTs got into the defense (for a different reason) and bought a house across the street from their church and painted it Rainbow style.

---
We speak of mosques and Imams as nurturers of radicalism, but anybody got an idea of where Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Jr since he "retired" after being exposed for his rabidness preaching at Obamageddon?

---
Online story: "The Saudi's 7.37 million barrel a day in export business is in jeopardy of disappearing thanks -to a discovery that promises to unleash a massive supply of fuel... * Enough fuel, in fact, to power the entire globe for over 36,000 years. * As remarkable as it may sound, this fuel is so revolutionary that the International Energy Agency predicts $48 trillion could soon flow into this sector, making it the #1 source of energy on the planet. * The incredible thing is, it all starts with a tiny grain of sand." -- Good grief.. Suadi Arabia has more sand than it does oil.. why will Saudi Arabia be worried? Who should be worried are American vacationers.. now there will be "sand thieves" digging sand out of  the traps on golf courses and beaches.

---
Online headline: "Chicago to release video in police shooting of second black man" -- You know.. if a policeman is involved in a shooting, you can pretty much assume that the policeman has tried to get the other person to stop what he/she is doing and obey the law... but with out success. What Chicago NEEDS is video cameras on all its streets, and when some gangsta retaliates against another gangsta by executing his 9 -year-old child, show that video in every neighborhood church, school, and project community center 24/7 until the residents start cooperating with the police to get all gangs put away.

---
Online headline/story: "Donald Trump on Israel-Palestine rift: 'I can put both sides together'  *  "But I said it'll take six months ... maybe sooner," he told the audience. "Because with us, we have a deal instinct — a lot of us. And you walk into a room, you can tell almost like in two seconds whether or not you're going to make a deal. I will know very quickly whether or not I'll be able to put that deal together."" -- Now even I don't think Trump can pull this off. Neither nation actually wants to stop. This would be even tougher than getting Democrat Senators to vote for conviction of impeaching Obamageddon, or Congressman Elijah Cummings calling G. I. Jillary a liar at the Benghazi hearings.

---
Excuse me.. I'm a bit confused about the aim of Democrats...What makes Democrats believe that if they could only ban all guns that jihadists and gang members would obey the law? What makes Democrats believe America would be free of England's rule if guns hadn't been allowed in the hands of Americans?

---
Online headline: " Applebee's cut soft drinks from their kids menus" -- Good grief.. first, it will be available... but more BS-y is that how much more damage is a sugary drink compared to fried chicken nuggets and french fries?

---
Online headline/story: "The top 5 dangerous jobs in the US  * #1 - Loggers (109.5 fatalities in 2014), #2 Fishers (80.8 fatalities in 2014), #3 Other Extraction Workers (miners/oil folks) (51.9 fatalities in 2014), #4 Roofers (46.2 fatalities in 2014), and #5 Aircraft pilots and flight folks (63.2 fatalities in 2014)..

First.. how do you get "decimal deaths for a single year.. (I'd understand if it were the average over a number of years). but more importantly is this must be propaganda compiled and released by the Democrats.. How can a "list" like this be compiled that doesn't have American soldiers,Police officers and Firemen at the top of the list, and Chicago children as number 2 on the list? Why, because Democrats do not want to deal with either because they are trying not to be accountable for their failures.

---
Online story: "The U.S. Senate voted Thursday to repeal the core of Obamacare, bringing Congress closer to sending legislation to President Barack Obama for the first time that would dismantle his signature domestic achievement. * Congressional Republicans won't succeed in undoing the Affordable Care Act, though, because the president has said he would veto the measure and Democrats in Congress have the votes to block an override. Senators voted 52-47 to pass the legislation." -- Good grief.. why do the Republicans do this? By this, I mean provide fodder for a Democrat and mainscream media  assault that takes focus away from the real election issues.. Republicans should just post a board up in the House and Senate showing the current voting positions on OObamaCRAP, but not send it to Obamageddon less its veto proof or until after the 2016 election.

---
Mainscream media is aghast that one of the Muslim jihadists was a woman... Good grief.. mainscream media just couldn't get over itself that women passed the US Army Ranger tests.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Video Of Mount Etna Erupting Proves Mother Nature Still Rules" -- Try and "change" that.. you climate change advocates!

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/479319/Mount-Etna-spectacular-photos-electricity-eruption-Sicily

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Democrats Want To Try Giving Free Diapers To The Poor" -- Good grief.. beween millions of abortions, trillions already given out in welfare subsidies, and untold billions spent on sex education and birth control distributions, Democrats are just realizing their programs have all FAILED, and now want to "contain" it like Obamageddon has said ISIS is "contained".. Excuse me Democrats, but this "cup" will runneth over as well.

---
You know, we have our choice of many, many products that can kill 99.99% of gerns...who knows what that .01% germ(s) is/are! If we figure that out and find a product to kill it and we could make a fortune.

---
Online headline/story: "DOD spent $150M on private villas, security for 'handful' of employees in Afghanistan, watchdog claims 8 The Department of Defense employees worked for the now-defunct Task Force for Stability and Business Operations, known as TFBSO or the Task Force -- the DOD's premiere program to kick-start the Afghan economy. The $150 million spent on the villas and private security supported "only a handful" and "no more than 5 to 10" TFBSO staff members the majority of the time *  From 2010 through 2014, Congress appropriated approximately $822 million to TFBSO for Afghanistan, of which the Task Force spent approximately $766 million." --  Good grief.. and where were Rubio and  Paul when this was going on?It had to pass the Senate before Obamageddon passed it, but this is another reason we need Trump.. first he would have built it cheaper and had a golf course or two with it, but as president, he'll euther sell it, or make it the home of our soldiers and send the contractors over to the barracks!

---
Online headline/story: " A ‘sea change’ in Savannah politics as incumbent mayor gets the boot * Incumbent Savannah Mayor Edna Jackson was swept out of office Tuesday night by former Chatham County commissioner Eddie DeLoach after a campaign focused on the stew of race, crime and corruption that marred the coastal city’s government * “A city with 55 percent African-American population got so fed up with murders and crime that it showed up and voted,” he wrote. The conventional wisdom then wasthat a white person, especially one with Republican leanings, couldn’t be elected mayor."  -- "campaign focused on the stew of race, crime and corruption "? Are you listening Council/Mayor,, how about you, Varner? 2016 is coming up fast.

---
Online headline: "OBAMA TELLS TURKEY TO SEAL SYRIAN BORDER, TURKEY TELLS OBAMA TO HANDLE MEXICO FIRST" -- Good grief! The world wide opinion of Obamageddon has reached a new low.. Saudi's expect bows from Obamageddon, North Korea draws lines knowing Obamageddon won't cross them, and now one of out oldest allies just gave him the middle-finger salute!

---
L-E headline/story: ":COLUMBUS STATE UNIVERSITY SOCCER 8 Lady Cougars one game away from winning national title * will face two-time defending national champion Grand Valley State (21-1-2) in Saturday’s championship match at 1 p.m." -- Go, Cougars!

---
"Knowing" L-E "soundoff": " Having moved from Muscogee County to Harris County 15 years ago, I can say that the excellent school system, low crime rate and relative scarcity of entitled liberals are definitely a plus." -- Not to mention a government that doesn't waste tax dollars, doesn't want to raise taxes every time a whim arises, has about 50% lower taxes on homes and cars, has once a week garbage pick ups, better maintained streets, and water rated as good or better than Columbus'.

---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "   It’s incredible, but Republicans, including new boss Paul Ryan, while frantically boot-licking the NRA, are allowing people on the FBI’s Terrorist Watch List to purchase guns. The lights are on, but nobody’s home."  -- "Republicans ...are allowing people on the FBI Terrorist watch list to purchase guns"?  Good grief.. all person wanting to buy guns are processed by the Obamageddon led government.. The Republicans in Congress do not make those department head appointments.

---
L-E "headLIE": "CALIFORNIA SHOOTINGS * MOTIVES BEHIND MASS VIOLENCE CAN BE A COMPLEX COMBINATION" -- "complex combination"? Good grief, what's complicated about knowing a jihadist is motivated by Islam to kill anybody that thinks differently?

---
L-E headline: "Sandy Berger, ex-Clinton national security adviser, dies"-- Hmm.. this is the third time I've seen this or similar headlines in the L-E.. I guess iot's because the L-E is not use to writing about deaths of Clinton acquaintances that die of natural cause..

---
Okay.. there's a second ad (page B4) and a 3rd ad (page C6) about out the eminent domain process to claim land at or around 3737 Cusseta Road at a price that's higher for fringe acreage than the property those low-income, public assisted apartments. It's being sought at $10,000.00 more than what it is assessed for, and you bet it'll be challenged and the tax dollar ante pumped up. Good grief.. it's being "taken" to supposedly improve traffic for those apartment.. What aren't the owners donating it? For that matter, why aren't the owners participating in paying for the improvement as well?

To say the least, it will be interesting which side of the stands old UGS/new U of Miami coach Richt will stand on if the two teams meet in a bowl game..

Thursday, December 3, 2015

Online headline: "SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec 2 (Reuters) - A couple who were suspected of killing 14 people in a mass shooting in California and were later slain in a shootout with police were identified by authorities on Wednesday as Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, described as possibly married or engaged." -- Hmmm... Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik...I guess we can expect... no, assume, that the White House spin will be that this was another case of "workplace violence" by the right-wing.. and the two were devout Christians...who thought they were in a Planned Parenthood Clinic...

---
From the "who'd guessed it, but you're not surprised" department: Guess what... San Bernardino, CA is a SANCTUARY city !

---
Online story: "President Barack Obama responded to the mass shooting in San Bernardino, California in an interview Wednesday with CBS News.  * "We should never think that this is something that just happens in the ordinary course of events, because it doesn't happen with the same frequency in other countries" -- Good grief.. I guess today he'll have more to say ONCE HE READS ABOUT IT IN  THE NEWSPAPER!

--
From the "what's wrong with this" department - Online headline: "British bombers make first strikes targeting ISIS" -- So... now the British have joined in with Russia, FRance, and the US is striking against ISIS.. hmm.. how come we don't headlines where Saudi Arabia or Egypt or Jordan or Lebanon or Kuwait et al have made strikes against ISIS?

---
There was a report on the number of fatalities in America from "mass shootings".. looks like in the last 18 years, 409 people have been killed. Of course, Mayor Rahm Emanuel would celebrate that as a blessing. Just in this year, so far, 411 people in Chicago have died from shootings.

---
Online headline: "There's an E. coli scare at Starbucks now, too" -- Hmmm.. I wondered why Starbucks coffee always tasted crappy the few times I tried it. I guess, too, that's why Starbucks pushes so hard to add syrups to cover the taste.

---
L-E story: "US first lady Michelle Obama gave military families a first glimpse at the White House holiday decorations on Wednesday, which included 62 trees bearing more than 70,000 ornaments. * "This time of year, it's easy to get caught up in all the holiday whirlwind, making the lists and the errands and the travel plans, that we sometimes forget what the holiday season is all about," she told the audience before kicking off the festivities. * "But sharing this special time with our military families reminds us that this season is about so much more. It's about giving more than we receive, right guys? It's about serving others," Mrs. Obama added, before joking that, "it's about toys too."" -- "the lists..the errands.. the travel plans.. toys... we sometimes forget what the holiday season is all about"?  Keep on talking Michelle... you might stumble on the right words to say about why we celebrate CHRISTmas.

---
You know.. why does MIchelle try to take credit for anything she said or did in the above item?  She has a staff.. a huge personal staff plus the White House staff that has done all the work she takes credit for....

---
Online story: "Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Wednesday that his administration would try to "take out" terrorists' families, in addition to the militants themselves. * "With the terrorists, you have to take out their families," Trump said during an interview." -- And.as usual.. Trump is right.. no spouse.. or child of a terrorist is not going to know and support what's going on in a jihadist's home. Sorry mainscream media, the real world is not so oblivious to reality.

---
A South African  appeals court has overturned Oscar Pissed-al-over-us's wrist-slap manslaughter conviction and turned it into a murder ... which it was..... Now the re-sentencing phase.. he could get leniency because it was his first offense...HUH? Excuse me, but a "first offense" that's a murder is not the same as vandalism  as a teen...

---
Of course I will be pulling for Kirby Smart to have success at UGA,  but how many major colleges have brought in a head coach that's never been a head coach before?  Learning to delegate is not an easy change to make.

---
U of Miami has scored a coupe.. it has snapped up Mark Richt.. while some of the expectations of a fast turn-around for Miami will not happen, the players that play for Richt will be of a more reputable nature when they graduate.

---
I'm sick of Mayor TomLYONGson's greedy and misdirected leadership... She will not balance a budget as long as she can dip into the fund balance, but now that it has dropped below the 60 day mark, our bond rating has weakened. This has happened just as she has announced support for a bond issue for the Columbus Water Works which will raise our rates again.

---
Speaking of the Columbus Water Works.. Mayor TomLYINGson and the other board members keep telling us that our rates are competitive or lower that other "comparable" cities. You know, since the Columbus Water Works is owned by the city, why are the powers that be more interested in milking as much money from the taxpayers as they can, rather than giving us the lowest rates they can do. It would be nice to point that out to prospective home owners and businesses interested in moving here.

---
Another thing.. the proposed bond issue by the Columbus Water Works board is to pay for expansion.. excuse me,, but that should be paid for by the developers.. it;s the developers that will benefit most from their land becoming more valuable from having water and sewage access.

---
Obviously, the GA DOT truck that was here Monday, wasn't here yesterday.. you could tell with the "back-to-normal "lax-tivity" on the Whittlesey Rpad wodening project..

---
Wonder what G.I. Jillary or Obamageddon, ..or for that matter, mainscream media would have said in 1942 if German or Italian or Japanese "refugees"   demanded to be let in?

---
Hmmm... wonder how many Democrats ran for office in 1942, 1944, or 1946 based on being "for" open free refugee admissions?

---
Online story: "The U.S. is sending more special operations forces to Iraq and Syria to help Iraqi and Kurdish forces battling ISIS, as well as capture senior terror leaders to learn more about the group's networks." -- Once again.. the best use of our soldiers would be to drop them into Saudi Arabia with instructions to shoot any able bodied Muslim male who was not heading in the direction of an ISIS skirmish.

---
L-E story: "The city has announced the holiday trash and recycling collection schedule for the holiday weeks of Christmas and New Year. * During both weeks, household garbage and recycling for Monday’s and Thursday’s routes will be picked up on Monday. Household garbage and recycling from Tuesday’s and Friday’s routes will be picked up on Tuesday. * Because of the heavy holiday loads for Christmas and New Year, if the city is unable to collect all trash and recycling on the scheduled Monday or Tuesday, workers will complete pick up on Wednesday." -- Excuse me.. why are there still Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday garbage pick ups? If the garbage could be picked up at every residence twice week before stopping the twice-a-week pickups, why are all the residences now taking two days to service since we had one of our pick-up days taken away?  Saving fuel and labor are basically the only ways to cut costs like Mayor TomLYINGson said she wanted, but in effect, our fuel and labor costs haven't been cut. We're basically just paying twice as much for one pick up.

---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Facing it, always facing it, that’s the way to get through. Face it.” — Joseph Conrad, Polish-born English novelist (born this date in 1857, died 1924)." -- Hmmm... remember how Obamageddon talks to us when he speaks? He darts back and forth between his TelePrompters and never stops and looks directly at the camera.

---
L-E editorial comment headline: "Westville will make its move in coming year" -- Westville coming to Columbus will be a benefit, and Council .. Mayor included, is to be congratulated for recognizing this.. Now, that said, let's make sure that other than the "gifT' of the land, that no other local tax dollars are involved.. while we are looking at it, let's re-evaluate using tax dollars to supplement the Civil War Museum and the Columbus Museum.. in fact any museum in Columbus. Those should be kept open by the interest of visitors/donors and efficiency of staff employed to run them.

---
L-E headline: "2014 U.S. HEALTH SPENDING GREW AT FASTEST RATE OF OBAMA YEARS" -- Or as Yogi might say,, "ya hadn't seen nothing uet,, wait'll next year!"  Good grief.. and it's not like the mainscream media and Democrat voters weren't warned 'enough'..by the "Party of Know".

---
The local high school rifle season just opened.. It's nice to know that our schools are at least teaching one thing that will help them after they graduate.. On a sad note, one of Mescon's last "gifts" before he left CSU was to dismantle the CSU Rifle Team.. guess he didn't want CSU students actually learning about how to control a gun.

---

Be praying and pulling for the CSU Lady Cougar's soccer team today as they line up in a semi-final match for the NCAA Division II National Championship!

Online headline: "Chicago police head fired after officer charged with murder"  -- Almost like baseball.. the team not doing well.. but fire the Assistant coach instead. Hey, Mayor Rahm Emanuel you're the head coach!

---
Since 1955, there have been 37,377 murders in Chicago.. that's almost 623 murders annually.. In the almost 4 years/6 months Rahm Emanuel has been Mayor, there have been 1,931 murders.. that's an annualized rate of 429 murders per year. In liberal speak.. that's a remarkable improvement... in reality, it sucks.

---
Oh.. since 1955, there have been no murders in Chicago when a Republican has been mayor.

---
Hmmm... you know, what if one of Bruce Jenner's kids wants to name a baby after him... Caitlyn, Jr?

---
L-E editorial headline/content: "Aquatic finals are godsend for city swim center  *  The timing could hardly have been better for the Columbus Aquatics Center.  *  Just days after learning that the lowest viable private bid for operation of the troubled city swim center is almost a half-million dollars more than what the city budgeted, Columbus has landed the first major swimming and diving competition since the facility opened two years ago." --  You know, for one event, especially a non-major one,  to be a godsend to Columbus, it needs to offset the nearly $500,000.00 annual loss that operating the Natatorium will cost taxpayers. Whatever claim Mayor TomLYINGson says about the savings of once-a-week garbage pickups is completely offset by the Albatross the Natatorium has proven to be.

---
Online story: "Convicted serial killer Peter Sutcliffe -- the "Yorkshire Ripper" -- has been deemed no longer mentally ill by psychiatrists, *  Medical professionals have recommended Sutcliffe, who murdered 13 women and attempted to kill seven others in Yorkshire, England, be moved out of a high-security psychiatric hospital and into a special prison unit. * They argue the 69-year-old cannot continue to be held at Broadmoor Hospital because its staff lacks the means to protect other patients." -- "because the staff lacks the means to protect other patients"? Wait a minute..didn't "they" just say he was "no longer mentally ill"? Can't wait for "miracle cures" to be announced for Charlie Manson and Bomber Brother 2, or Tomothy McVeigh's family to file a "wrongful death" lawsuit based on he may have been curable.

---
From the "we'll I'll be hornswoggled" department - Online story: * Lawyers representing Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev sought Tuesday to spare him from the death penalty * Tsarnaev, now 22, was sentenced to death in June after being convicted of working with his brother to plant pressure cooker bombs at the 2013 race's finish line in an attack that killed three and injured hundreds *  A jury found Tsarnaev responsible for the three deaths, horrific injuries to hundreds of people and for the brutal ambush killing of an MIT police officer. At sentencing Tsarnaev confessed and apologized." -- IT'S ALREADY BEGINNING....

---
Online headline: "State Department 'troubled' by Moscow's move against Soros groups" -- Hmmm.. well, we should all be troubled by the US State Department defending Soros.

---
What's with mainscream media being pumped up at G.I. Jillary taking a 51% lead in the Iowa caucus? It should be embarrassing that the only real Democrat candidate can only scrape up 51% of Democratic Party Iowans' support when her only opposition is a feeble Socialist white guy.

---
I don't get it...how people vote for a Democrat in a general election based on the promises the candidate made during the primary season, that she/he didn't plan on ever keeping them if elected?

---
What gives.. one toothpaste company says that once you've lost your enamel, it's gone forever, yet a mouthwash company claims its product can restore enamel?

---
From the "did you know" department: Against the objections of the FOP... and sanity in general,  the NFL banned armed security personnel. including off-duty police officers, from the football stadiums in 2013?  Heck, there have been guns found tuck into uniforms at high school football games.. and don't you know this is known to suicide jihadists?

---
Online headline/story: "Netanyahu’s New Media Chief Calls Obama Antisemitic, Claims Kerry Has Mental Ability Of 12 Year-Old"  *    "In response, State Department spokesman John Kirby said, His comments about U.S. officials, including the president and Secretary Kerry, we believe were troubling and offensive. We obviously expect government officials from any country, especially our closest allies, to speak respectfully and truthfully about senior U.S. government officials".-- Hmmm.. I think the Israeli guy was sorta lenient on his assessments.. especially on Kerry. I also think the statement by our State Department spokesperson demonstrates why the world no longer respects America under the Obamageddon administration.

---
Online story: "Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump suggested to a Georgia crowd Monday night that he may charge CNN $5 million to appear at the next GOP primary debate, money he said could go to wounded warriors or veterans." -- Hmm.. now if Trump really wants to do some good, offer to donate another $1,000,000.00 per each candis=date if CNN will match that.

---
I'd like to know why large groups can be organized by Al Sharlatan, Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, and "Black Lives Matter", yet none of those "leaders" will get their protesters to go out in inner city crime areas and taken on the gang/street issues...

---
Can we all say, "Hallelujah!" Yesterday, I actually saw a GA DOT truck on site at the Whittlesey Road widening project. I also saw equipment moving that's been sitting idle for weeks. I didn't see any more work getting done, but people were actually "busy". I guess squeaking about things does get attention eventually. Now the project is 1 month and two days behind on tye 6 month (plus extra Million + dollars the GA DOT "gave" them).

So ISIS has threatened to kill Poop Pat.. why? Most of the time he seems like he's on their side..

---
L-E headline: "JURY AGAINST CRIMINAL PROBE OF CSU POLICE SHOOTING * Family of slain campus visitor now will consider filing a civil lawsuit" -- Good grief.. the man was running away and had been associated with a gun.. who knows what wrath and agony he would have, could have, created had not the CSU security officer not stopped him! Even mentioning the possibility of a civil suit just demonstartes why the public perception of lawyers is that 99% of them give the other 1% a bad name.

---
L-E headline/story: "December-born drivers won’t get tag renewal forms  *  The Department of Revenue has contracted with a new vendor to take over the job, but vehicle owners whose tags expire in December will not receive notification from the state and must apply for and pay for their tags in person, the release states. It does not say whether they expect the situation to be rectified by January." -- Good grief.. who had this brilliant idea to switch horses in mid-stream? Unless the vendor switch was caused by something corrupt happening, the new vendor should not have been hired if it was incapable of a seamless transition.

---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L=E "soundoff": " A cigarette butt in water takes 10-12 years to disintegrate. Don’t throw these in our rivers, streams or oceans — please." -- Good grief.. how much did this cost the taxpayers... to have to pay some doofusses to sit around on their BUTT and monitor a cigarette BUTT disintegrate? I also wonder how mant BUTTS the But-sitting monitors threw on the ground as they watched.

---
Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid L-E "soundoff": " Teachers are only one part of success. What is the parent involvement at your child’s school? Proficient schools have single parents, welfare recipients, special needs students … the parents care and work with the teacher." -- Whoa! The decline did not start with teachers nor parents.. it started when busing kids out of their neighborhoods began.. Too many kids spend a hour of more each way that could be used for learning their lessons. Instead, they learn new and creative ways to amuse themselves to pass the time away.. It's sorta like being in a prison..

---
L-E headline: "Obama connects climate change to world events" -- Good grief..now Obamageddon is trying to associate "climate change" in mid-east desert countries as making it so hot that Jihadists who decapitate and rape men, women and children do so because of it being too hot to do anything else. Double good grief.. Obamageddon has made jihadists VICTIMS!

 ---
L-E's "   Thought for Today": “When your work speaks for itself, don’t interrupt.” — Henry J. Kaiser, American industrialist (1882-1967). -- Good grief.. Obamageddon and G.I. Jillary must be in competition to set a Guinness Records for most spokespersons and mainscream media anchors out explaining/defending their work.

---
The most effective use of American "boots on the ground" in the Mid-East would be to drop them into Saudi Arabia and start shooting Muslims who are not on their way to the front lines to combat ISIS.

---
L-E headline: "Woman charged with cruelty in taping of dog’s mouth" -- Now that's a crime liberals could feel the death sentence is warranted!

Why are cars now more costly to purchase than lease? When you look at cars, lease agreements are more realistic at valuing the worth, and dealers look like they are more interested in leasing than selling the cars yet dealers have more to lose on a lease being turned back in without an extension of renewal on a newer model. .this same philosophy brought down many dealers even though GM was bailed out. Just compared a base 2016 Buick Enclave priced out at about $40,000. To buy it involved a $4,000,00 down payment plus 72 payments of $578 at 4.9% while a lease for 39 months costs a $4,300.00 upfront payment and 39 months at $307.00, or a cash discount on only $750.00,if you write a check. (not including 7% sales taxes or tag fees in ColumbusAfter 39 months you either have put in about $26,000 if you financed it, or about $16,000 if you leased. Let me get this straight.. the dealer 'feels" a turned in lease car is worth $10,000.00 more than if you wanted to trade in your financed version at the same time interval?  Hey, local dealers.. I'm buying 2 new vehicles in Jan/Feb of 2016.. I'm paying cash.. you'll have to do a lot better than a $750.00 sale price" discount.

--

Note: Carefully watch the sales estimate.deal the car dealer quotes you including price, taxes fees and "dealer's fee". Your quote will probably be at 8% sales tax for you to approve, but when the computer gets it, it adjusts the sales taxes back to the proper 7% level, and just adds that other 1% back into the dealer's profit margin.

Online headline: "Suspect told he may face death in clinic shooting * The man accused of killing 3 people and injuring 9 in a rampage at a Colo. Planned Parenthood facility appeared in court for the first time on Monday." -- "may face death"? MAY? What's with "MAY"? Premeditated shootings..gang shootings.. they should all be mandatory death sentences regardless of mental state or capacity.

---
Online headline: "Powerful New York politician found guilty of corruption" -- Oooops, my bad.. it's not one of the Clintons.

---
Instant repeat- headline/story: "Powerful New York politician found guilty of corruption  *  Sheldon Silver, a Democrat who as speaker of the New York State Assembly enjoyed immense political influence before his arrest in January, and one of New York's most powerful politicians for two decades, was convicted on Monday of abusing his office to collect as much as $4 million in illegal bribes and kickbacks." -- Hmmm.. guess Silver should have taken a page out of the Clintons' playbook.. form a "foundation" .. from what I can tell, that's basically "what the difference " is.

---
Online headline/story: "Motive behind Univ. of Chicago threats revealed  *  Authorities disclosed the horrifying reason behind a student's racially-charged online threat that forced the university to shut down on Monday.  *  Jabari R. Dean, a 21 black man, of Chicago, who sought to 'rid the world of white devils', threatened to kill 16 white male students or staff at the school on Chicago's South Side, according to the criminal complaint." -- What? Did I read this right? A black man has been arrested for making a "racially-charged" threat? Hallelujah! Al Sharlatan, Jesse Jackson,  Sheila Jackson Lee. John Lewis, Charlie Rangel, and  Pric Holder may no longer be protected by mainscream media!

---
Online headline/story: "Donald Trump meets with black pastors in 'amazing' meeting *  "We had a wonderful time in the meeting," said Darrell Scott, the senior pastor of New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, who helped to organize the meeting. "We made a lot of progress. It's not the last one.""  -- Hmmm... this could be the beginning of a political change that will help .. insure.. America's return to greatness.. or.. it could be just to see how much G.I. Jillary will up "the ante" to buy votes.

---
Online headline: "Hillary's nickname for Mitt revealed in new leaked emails" -- Hmmm.. I'm more interested in what Bill's "nickname" for her is when neither she nor mainscream media is not around. One thing I'll bet on is that it is not "MITTens".

---
Online "headLIE": "Obama takes hard stance on Russia-Turkey conflict" --

---
Online headline: "The No. 1 safest city in the world named" -- Well.. it's mayor is not Queen "TT" TomLYINGson.

---
Online headline/story: "US reportedly supplying Ukraine military with obsolete equipment * Among the outdated supplies are Humvees dating from the late 1980s and early 1990s, according to the Post, which cited the vehicles' serial numbers in its report. In another case, an infantry unit of 120 soldiers received a single bulletproof vest, of a type that U.S. forces stopped using in the mid-2000s." -- Hmm.. guess Obamageddon sent all the "good stuff" to ISIS via Iraqi desserters.

---
Online headline/story: "University president rebukes 'self-absorbed, narcissistic' students  *  A chapel sermon on love left a student at Oklahoma Wesleyan University feeling “offended” and “victimized.” * But instead of capitulating to the offended young scholar, OWU President Everett Piper pushed back with a blistering rebuke of what he called “self-absorbed and narcissistic” students. *  “This is not a day care. This is a university,” he wrote in a blog that has since gone viral. * Back home in Tennessee, we call that a “Come to Jesus” moment.   *  “Our culture has actually taught our kids to be this self-absorbed and narcissistic,” he wrote. “Any time their feelings are hurt, they are victims! Anyone who dares challenge them and, thus, makes them ‘feel bad’ about themselves, is a ‘hater,’ a  ‘bigot,’ an ‘oppressor,’ and a ‘victimizer.’" -- Hmmm... I hope our MCSB puts Dr Piper on it's next search  list of Superintendents!

---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "A rogue Chicago policeman shot an unarmed man and was rightfully charged with first-degree murder. So why are protesters making local merchants and other cops suffer? That’s mob rule." -- "rightfully charged with first-degree murder"? NO policeman should ever be charged with first-degree murder when he's answering a call, and there are other witnesses there, and the person is armed... PERIOD! Do I think that the policeman should have emptied his clip into him.. NO! But that is not what we're talking about., and I wasn't there.. as most most of you weren't, to see what actually was going on as the man lay on the ground. As an experienced umpire for 30 years, the critics in the stands are too far away from the tag made at 2nd base. Only the umpire is close enough to see whether the fielder lose control of the ball in an obvious "looked out" situation, or whether the base runner's foot came inches short of reaching the bag when he slid in.

---
Another Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Save the rhetoric about Dr. Lewis not doing a good job. A teacher cannot educate a student who does not want an education. The same fact applies to test scores." -- Whoa! When you look at a baseball team roster and see starts everywhere who are not performing up to expectations, you don't fire the team, you get rid of the coach.. The coach's main job is to create an atmosphere and goals that the players will respond to and do their best.

---
L-E story: "Columbus has scored its first swimming and diving national championships since opening the Columbus Aquatics Center in 2013.  * The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Monday it entered a two-year agreement with the Columbus Sports Council to host the 2016 and 2017 men's and women's swimming and diving national championships." --  Too little, too late perhaps? Looks like we have to plan on losing about $1,000,000.00 over thye next two years to keep this commitment.

---
Declaring war on ISIS is not enough..a coalition is needed..how about if the US supply air strikes and other Muslim countries supply, and pay for,  the ground troops as a show of cooperation and intent to rid radicalism.

---
Mainscream media seemed impressed with Obamageddon's bravery at eating out in public in Paris. Huh? Why should he be worried about a jihadist attack..the jihadists would be stupid on taking out their main ally.

---
Up until now, Biden has been Obamageddon's "safety plan" to keep conservatives at bay, but now, Obamageddon has to worry about Biden being mighty attractive to liberals. It could be time for House impeachment and a Senate conviction that wasn't previously in the cards.

---
After experiencing the government's boondoggle results of the Moon Rd and Whittlesey Rd projects, who wants infrastructure projects controlled by G.I. Jillary's plans?

---
Good grief...illegal aliens in Oregon are suing to get driver's licenses. I'm beginning to believe illegal aliens have almost as much disregard of our Constitution as Obamageddon does..

---
Here's a name to send to Trump  to name as Secretary of Welfare.....Ron White. He'll dismantle it because he knows "you can't fix stupid!"

---
L-E headline: "World leaders gather to try to save Earth from overheating" --  Good grief.. if the world leaders haven't figured out that the most pressing threat to Earth "overheating" is ISIS, then ISIS is going to win!
---
Letter writers in the L-E today have taken sucker punches at Harris County Sheriff, Mike Jolley.. one from Harris County must think the L-E is going to pay him by the word.. I'm glad he wasn't responding about what time it is.. he's probably tell us how to make a watch.. the other is, like the ranch hands sitting aroud a campfire describe a certain salsa as being from "New Yoprk City, sent in his latest diatribe on a local area issue in which he's doesn't have a dog in the hunt. Why does the L-E print outside drivel.. I guess if the L-E can't find local opposition, it relies on, (maybe even recruits) getting outside agitation...

Wow! The Columbus State University Lady Cougars soccer team has reached the Final 4. Kudos for Coach Entlich and his team... OUR team..
