Before there's any more discussion, why is the issue of separation of illegal alien families at the border... or not, even an issue? The situation revolves around a criminal act...a parent.. or parents.. decide to attempt to put themselves ABOVE ... or contrary to .. the law, are caught, and must be held responsible for his/her/their decision... Why should situations .. whether at the border.. or inland... be given any different consideration than CITIZENS of this country breaking a law and having to be separated from his/her/their children to serve the time in prison (consequences) of the decision?

And while we are discussing parental separations from families.. why is there more concern about the imbalance of ethnic groups serving time in prison rather than why there is an ethnic imbalance committing crimes?

One other thing, in 2009 and 2010, why did not the DIMocrats pass a law.. even though it would eventually be challenged and overruled based on Constitutional issues ... when they had super-majorities in the House and Senate.. dealing with the issues they now complain about.. Instead of addressing it, Obama dealt with it with Executive Orders which carry weight only until EITHER a new president or the Supreme Court eliminate such. DIMocrats are the BLAME for what's left for Trump.. and AMERICA.. to deal with..

---
From the "talk about separating illegal alien families!" - Online headline/story: "At least 5 dead after SUV carrying illegal immigrants crashes, sheriff says * Dimmit County Sheriff Marion Boyd said four people died at the scene off Highway 85 in Big Wells, Texas, at about noon, and one other person died at the hospital. A sixth person was said to be in "very" critical condition. * In all, 14 people were inside the SUV, including the driver and passenger, according to the sheriff. The driver, believed to be a United States citizen, was rushed to a hospital; the passenger, also believed to be a U.S. citizen, currently is in custody." -- Hmm ... at least 5, and probably 6 illegal aliens are dead.. this is a PERMANENT separation of families... Solution: "BUILD THE WALL, STOP IT ALL"

---
DIMocrats are out calling putting illegal aliens in containment is "unAmerican".. Excuse me? Aren't the illegals the unAmericans"?

---
From the "best example of irony in awhile" department - Online headline/story: "Trump quip about North Korea's Kim sparks outcry on social media * Trump indicated a White House visit by Kim was possible: "Hey he's the head of a country, * "He speaks and his people sit up" -- And in America, Trump is head of our country, and when he speaks, mainscream media and other socialist "spit up". Trump 2020!

---
Online headline: "Parkland students kick off nationwide bus tour in Chicago to promote young voters to register" -- Good grief.. whatta waste of time.. since most high schoolers are not OLD ENOUGH to vote, why didn't this group just appeal to Shicago teens not to shoot so many of each other so they could GET old enough to vote?

---
Online story: "Public works projects around the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago could cost Illinois taxpayers nearly $200 million, * The presidential center would sit in Chicago’s South Side neighborhood." -- In Shicago's South Side? What a brilliant plan.. Obama can place his school, travel records and Manifesto inside it without fear of them ever being discovered.. with it's ongoing street violence, who among historians will venture into South Shicago?

---
From the "Kenny Loggins, (This is it) Make no mistake where you are!" department - Online headline/story: "Tourists visiting San Francisco question if they're in 'bad side of town' * Since the beginning of the year, reports have surfaced of hypodermic needles dotting the streets, piles of human feces and expanding shanty towns for the increasing homeless population -- and now tourists are noticing * "Is this normal or am I in a 'bad part of town?'” an Australian Reddit user asked the San Francisco Reddit community Wednesday. * “Why is this city so terrifying?” a Canadian visitor asked on Reddit Sunday." -- Hmmm... seems rather obvious that California needs to start developing "Sanitary Cities" rather than "Sanctuary Cities".

---
From the "bias..what bias?" department - After years of mainscream media excoriating any network for bring Chelsea Clinton into the news, mainscream media certainly has no issue with going after all of Trump's family.

---
Not to be outdone by Reagan's "Evil Empire", Trump has nailed the Comey/Lynch-Holder/Obama Triangle of Terror as the "Den of Thieves".

---
Online headline: "Angela Merkel's German government facing collapse over her immigration stance * Angela Merkel’s government is on the brink as the German chancellor battles her coalition partners on immigration and asylum seekers. * The coalition between Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) and the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) has fractured over the latter’s new proposed policy that would turn away more asylum seekers at the country’s borders. * In 2015, her 'open door' policy to migrants saw approximately a million refugees flood into the country. Although migrant arrivals have dropped steeply in the past two years, Germany still registered around 11,000 new asylum-seekers each month." -- Whoa.. once you stop laughing at the thought of the possibility of their being a Christian Democrat, you'll thank yourself for not electing Hellary ...

---
From the "just as it should be" department - Online headline/story: "San Juan Mayor Who Criticized Trump Now Being Investigated for Corruption * Cruz may be the hypocritical one here. New reports suggest that corruption in San Juan prevented critical supplies from reaching Hurricane Maria victims. The FBI is investigating suppliers and Cruz's administration." -- Hmmm... who knew.. that her wearing the "Nasty Woman" t-shirt would turn out to actually be prophetic?

My go-to store for lightbulbs has been Lowe's for years... I started making them my exclusive and destination spot because they sold other brands than GE, and I swore off GE when Obama tapped GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his economic adviser and we would no longer buy 60, 75, or 100 watt incandescent bulbs. Well, no more..Went to Lowe's yesterday and saw nothing but GE bulbs..I'm looking for a new outlet.

L-E headline/story: "Judge drops charges against victim, suspect in Eagles Trace Apartments shooting * Charges against a man accused in Monday’s shooting at Eagles Trace Apartments were dismissed Thursday in Columbus Recorder’s Court. * Jasaan Alexis Marion, 19, was facing one count of reckless conduct and aggravated assault in the 6:18 p.m. shooting at 2001 Torch Hill Road. Police Detective Delante’ Odom asked Judge Michael Joyner to dismiss the charges during a 9 a.m. hearing. * Based on the investigation, he believed or made the determination that it was a self defense case. “It basically means my client had not violated the law,” he said. “I was pleased.” * Police said the shooting was sparked from an ongoing dispute between Marion and another man. The shooting between the two men left Marion and a third man injured. * The gunfire erupted in the parking lot near the mail boxes at the apartment complex, police said.-- "Based on the investigation"? Did the investigation include information as to whether the gun was legally owned (is 21 the age when a handgun can be owned?), and a carry permit issued.. and did the investigation reveal that this 19 year old was the victim of a random assault/robbery...did the investigation reveal all three of the men were carrying... We're doomed.. now a judge is kowtowing to knowing that this case would end up with another local "jury fail"..

---
Perhaps the the most damaging revelation of the IG's report is to Obama..mainly as to why Obama didn't fire Comey and McCabe before the election...or at least before Trump took office.

---
From the "most hypocritical comment of the 21st Century" department - Online headline: "Bill Clinton 'offended' over criticism of his tarmac meeting with ex-AG Lynch" -- Slick Willie was offended? Good grief.. the majority of 300 Million Americans had the right to be "offended".. not Clinton! In fact, I'm OFFENDED that all 300 Million plus Americans weren't offended by the Lynch/Clinton meeting!

---
Online story: "-- African-Americans made up 29 percent of the voting universe on May 22, counting both Republican and Democratic ballots. Which means that Stacey Abrams, the Democratic nominee for governor, still has turnout work to do. Thirty percent of the 6.1 million registered voters statewide are African-American, an area in which Abrams must overperform if she’s to have a chance in November." -- You know.. GA's black community should be offended that they are EXPECTED to support a candidate because of her color rather than a candidate's leadership and management skills! Sadly, they did it in the primary as well.

---
L-E headline: "MCSD reports reveal cleanest, dirtiest schools for past academic year" -- I just wish the MCSD/MCSB would be more revealing about the cleaning contracts companies..

---
Saw an ad in the Columbus L-E based on, "Don't Want a Cookie-Cutter Funeral"?" -- Good grief.. aside from does it really matter, but how would you know if your wish for a non-cookie-cutter-funeral was actually carried out?

---
I'd never play golf with Bill Clinton... like politics, I'm pretty sure he "lies as he plays it"

---
I see where George Cliff, longtime PGA professional affiliated with the Ft Benning Golf Course, has passed.. hope he joins my Dad for another round soon..

---
L-E headline: "Republicans blindsided by Trump opposition to immigration plan" -- Blindsided? Nah,, it's just some of them weren't listening.. then nor now.. Trump keeps his promises...

L-E story: "Google released its annual workforce diversity report Thursday, marking only modest changes from last year. The company remains mostly white and male. * Overall, Google’s global workforce is 69.1 percent male and 30.9 percent female, virtually unchanged from 2017. * In its breakdown on race and ethnicity, which only covers U.S. employees, 2.5 percent of Googlers are Black/African American, up from 2.4 percent in 2017. Black women make up only 1.2 percent of the workforce, compared with 1.8 percent for black men. Women identified as Latinx make up 1.7 percent." -- Amazing.. one of the most liberal companies and executive groups showing how it really feels about diversity... Follow the money to it's political donations.

Question: If you are a L-E Subscriber.. even just an occasional reader, who won the 89th Southeastern Invitational Amateur Championship this past weekend? It ended Saturday at the historic Donald Ross layout at the Country Club of Columbus yet there's NO mention of it in Sunday's or today's edition of the Columbus (via Macon) Ledger-Enquirer. To boot, a young accomplished Columbus golfer won! Congratulations Stanton Schorr.. oh, congrats, too, for Ben Carr finishing tied for 3rd.. he's another accomplished young Columbus golfer.. Of course, the Columbus/Macon L-E has no interest in PGA golfer Russell Henley.. a Macon product now building his home in Columbus.. PITIFUL!

---
The left has made a major mistake in presenting the IG's report...they feel WE are the stupid ones...Well, as Forrest Gump would say, "Stupid is as stupid does".

---
Didn't see, I bet...at least not if you get your news from sources other than the Fox News channel, but the FED projects a GDP growth of over 4%....this would never have happened under a 3rd term of Hellary/Obama.

---
On Saturday, I felt this way: Say it ain't so, Phil! That awful exhibition on the 13th green on Saturday. If someone told me how you acted, I wouldn't believe they were talking about you...but I watched it myself...I'm still slack-jawed! Later, Phil Michelson explained that he was using an official rule to his best advantage..he knew the ball was about to roll off the green and would go another 50 yards back down the fairway.. In a way, you have to applaud Phil for his knowledge of, and using the rules of golf to his advantage.. and his QUICK thinking.

Hey, Mayor Tom-LYING-son.. you to new/old Councilpersons and those in the runoff next month.. before the fiscal year ends, how about P&L statements for the Natatorium, Ice Rink, Swimming Pools, and the Recycling Center..

Online headline/story: "Former IRS attorney says IRS 'should go after' Trump * “The New York State attorney general yesterday filed a lawsuit against the Donald J. Trump Foundation and its directors, accusing the charity and the Trump family of violating campaign finance laws, self-dealing and illegal coordination with the presidential campaign,” Philip T. Hackney wrote. * “I believe Mr. Trump is also criminally liable for his actions,” Hackney added. * “If I were still at the I.R.S., based on the lawsuit, I would make a criminal referral, on charges of tax evasion or false statements on a tax return, or both." -- "if I was still at the I.R.S."? Hmmm.. well Mr Sir Crabs-a-lot, when you WERE at the I.R.S., why didn't you GO AFTER the Clintons and their foundations, and Lois Lerner and Obama who used the I.R.S. to undermine new conservative 501 (c) 3&4 applications for creating foundations?

---
From the "it's not one world" department - Online headline/story: "Nigeria soccer fans are banned from taking their lucky chickens into World Cup matches * A Russian politician has told Nigeria soccer fans they cannot take live chickens to 2018 FIFA World Cup matches. * The chickens are seen as lucky mascots but the government has slapped a ban on taking them into games ahead of Nigeria's opening World Cup match against Croatia on Saturday." -- Whew! We dodged a bullet by Obama NOT getting the World Cups here during his terms.. some of the games would have been in California, and California would allow the Nigerians to marry their chickens and bring them into the stadium as spouses.

---
L-E headline: "Secret recording, unpaid loan stir governor’s race" - Didn't the Walton Family just deny that this was something they would do?

---
L-E headline/story: "Court reinstates California’s right-to-die law * A state appeals court has reinstated – at least for now – California’s law allowing terminally ill people to end their lives. * The Fourth District Court of Appeals in Riverside issued an immediate stay Friday putting the End of Life Option back into effect. * The law allows adults to obtain a prescription for life-ending drugs if a doctor has determined that they have six months or less to live." -- Good grief... a state appeals court has the power to determine life and death.. well it is California.. Of course, the judge could.. should have ruled that if someone was interested in dying in the next 6 months, just take daily walks in sanctuary cities wearing bling until some illegal alien kills them for it.

Online headline/story: "Seven highlights from bombshell IG report on the DOJ, FBI Clinton email probe:

1. New texts between FBI lovers Strzok and Page were 'disappointing' and cast a shadow over the integrity of the entire Clinton email probe

2. Five unnamed FBI employees -- including one lawyer who later worked on the Mueller probe -- are under scrutiny for anti-Trump bias

3. President Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Hillary Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account.

4. Despite Clinton connections, former Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe didn't fully recuse themselves

5. 'Insubordinate' Ex-FBI Director James Comey repeatedly violated policy and inaccurately described the legal situation surrounding Clinton's emails

6. Former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch made errors in judgment during the Clinton probe

7. FBI agents' actions surrounding the DOJ/FBI interview of Hillary Clinton were 'inappropriate' and created appearance of bias.

All are disastrous when it comes to the concept of an unbiased Bureau that the people believe in, but numbers 6 & 7 need to be fully investigated and acted on to restore the people's belief in the FBI..and specific policies and penalties be written down.

From the "have your pizza.. and streets, too" department - Dominos wants us to get our pizzas delivered intact and savory... so.. it is offering to repave the streets either you.. or its delivery personnel.. must travel ... to get it delivered home..maybe Council should just close the prison kitchens and court house snack bars and order Dominos everyday to we could get our streets up-to-snuff.. Just spent the weekend at some family property in Harris County, and it was sure relaxing to drive looking forward rather than down at the potholes I would have had to dodge driving in Muscogee County.

Went to "Denim and Diamonds" this weekend.. Charlie Daniels.. at age 81, is still incredible.. on the other hand, Marshall Tucker Band needed to retire years ago...

L-E headline: "22 wounded as gunfire erupts at NJ arts festival" -- Hmmm... I guess, in political speak, you could call this the beginning of a new art "movement"... "Splatter Art!"

Online story: "Clinton has remained steadfast that Comey’s letter (to Congress of October 28th) helped tip the election in Donald Trump‘s favor." -- Not "what happened"... "what didn't happen".. What didn't happen was Hellary losing a single vote from her followers. What didn't happen was Hellary didn't feel she needed to campaign in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. What didn't happen was Hellary showing concern about America's future or military. What didn't happen was that America's majority of states felt "she was the one".

Yesterday, the husband of one of my nieces by marriage sank a birdie putt on number 7 T Shinnecock Hills to take the lead at that moment, and ended the first round tied for the lead.

---
A little tidbit for all you golfers out here..Russell Henley..former UGA star and rising one on the PGA tour is married to a Columbus girl .. Tiel Duncan Henley..a rising star in the art world herself. Oh, and they are building a home here in Columbus.
Oh, and don't blame lack of coverage on the L-E's operations being sent to Macon, GA.. Russell Henley's hometown IS Macon.

---
The US Open is going on at Shinnecock Hills Golf Course in NY this week.. I'm wondering why NY liberals UpChuck Schumer and Hellary Clinton aren't protesting at the front entrance about the Shinnecock Hills logo of an Indian wearing a war bonnet.. Of course, they may believe it's an ancestor of Pocahontas Warren.

---
Also heard that in the restoration of Shinnecock Hills over 500 trees were removed.. Between the antifa, tree huggers, and libs in favor of returning America to its natives, you'd think the tournament could hardly be played there.

---
The most revealing, the most disturbing bias in the IG's report is that Peter Strzok still works for the FBI and has classified file clearances.

---
The DIMocrats are scared s***less.. They sent out the A-team spinmeisters over to Fox to combat Martha McCallum during the 7:00 hour..I say the A team because the primary defender/diverter appeared to be more Hollywood appealing than Brad Pitt ever thought he was rather than "the usual suspects".

---
Yep..the DIMocrats indeed are scared about the IG report.. The Congressional baseball game was played last night and not o e of the DIMocrats took a knee during the National Anthem.

L-E Guest Commentary headline/content: "Guess who's coming to a White House dinner? Dictators and despots * BY MARKOS KOUNALAKIS * Special to McClatchy * Kim Jong Un just got one of the most coveted invitations for any foreign leader — a White House visit. If the Singapore Summit delivers results and continues to serve President Trump politically, that door will stay open and the invitation will remain valid. That would make Kim the latest in a string of despots and dictators who over the years get to pose for an Oval Office grip and grin." -- Before going any further, we must know "Who is Markos Kounalakis?" He was born in Sacremento, CA, and now is a a resident of San Francisco, and he's a graduate of UC Berkeley, and Columbia University. He's currently a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and a guest foreign policy columnist for The Sacramento Bee and McClatchy-Tribune News. He served as Chairman of Internews Network and for two terms on the Board of Visitors at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. He remains active on the Board of Councilors at the University of Southern California’s (USC) Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism; and the Board of Advisors at USC’s Center on Public Diplomacy.. In other words, if Obama had met with Kim and gotten any American- benefiting concessions, Kounalakis would be praising him.

Purely a local issue moment - Just a reminder about the local run-off elections.. for MCSB Post 2.. vote for Mike Edmondson.. I still cannot get by a candidate - Bart Steed - can even be eligible to run when he has an open-ended $165,000 contract approved by Dr Lewis.. In Council Post 10.. definitely John House..I supported Tollie Strode as my first choice.. the best choice IMHO, but I also said I would not be upset if John House won.. To me, it's Columbus' loss that we couldn't have both serving on Council... or either one of them as our new Mayor. As for Bryan. only a loop-hole in the Chamber by-laws enables her to run... but that loop-hole still doesn't clear her of being eligible by common sense that no one with "day job" being paid with tax dollars being able to run without resigning from that job.. Mike Edmondson in MCSB Post 2 did such..

In an e-mail from Representative Hank Johnsom, D - GA4, comes this exclamation: "News that the Trump Administration’s Department of Justice will refuse to defend the constitutionality of key provisions of the historic, life-saving Affordable Care Act in an upcoming lawsuit in Texas proves there is a cynical sabotage campaign of Americans’ health care." -- DOH! OObamacare still exists and was ruled Constitutional by the US Supreme Court, so why does the DOJ HAVE to defend it... the burden of "proof" lies 100% with the filers.. What DIMocrats won't admit to is that OObamacare has been stripped of its penalties which will bring it unceremoniously to its knees.. Sorta like Guam tipping over with too much US government involvement.

---
From the "when is a "leak"... not a leak?" department - Online story: "The Department of Justice inspector general identified a number of instances where FBI employees regularly spoke with members of the media and received a number of free perks from journalists including meals and tickets to various events. * On page XII in the report, the IG says the department “identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.” * The IG expressed “profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel that we have uncovered our review.” * The contact between FBI agents and the media extended to receiving “improperly receiving benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events.” -- So, "when is a "leak"... not a leak?" -- When it's a planned bribe to get personal benefits.. I do think the IG needs to expand this probe throughout the full Obama terms and the last two years of the Bush terms when DIMocrats took control of the House.

---
Online headline/story: "Ellen DeGeneres returns to stand-up comedy after 15 years * Ellen DeGeneres is going back to her roots, launching her first stand-up comedy tour in 15 years in a limited run of shows on the U.S. West Coast in August. * Her stand-up tour will visit San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle from Aug. 10-23." -- Hmmm.. in the vernacular of liberalism, I guess Ellen "could" call this a "World Tour".. after all, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle ARE her world.

---
From the "if you can't be relevant, be insignificant" department - Online headline: "Jim Carrey marks Trump’s birthday with a grave-urinating pic" -- And what's worse than not having any talent for acting... acting like you have talent for artistic expression.

--
L-E headline/story: "DeKalb parents seek ouster of ex-Muscogee school official * The Champion newspaper in DeKalb quoted an unidentified parent as listing the following words teachers allegedly have used to describe Braaten: “Dictatorial, intimidating, negative, anxiety, punitive, bullying, abuse of power.” The newspaper reported that dozens of parents and supporters were at the meeting to call for her dismissal." -- While I don't find it hard that the L-E will "try" someone in the news, but I do have two questions.. Will Dr. Lewis testify in her h[behalf? and Will Braaten be willing to have him testify?

---
L-E story: "New York’s attorney general filed a lawsuit Thursday accusing Donald Trump of illegally using money from his charitable foundation to settle disputes involving his business empire and to burnish his image during his run for the White House. * The lawsuit seeks $2.8 million in restitution and the dissolution of the foundation. The two-year investigation detailed a closely coordinated effort between Trump’s campaign and the foundation. * Trump blasted the case as politically motivated. In tweets, he called the case “ridiculous.” “I won’t settle this case!” he wrote." -- Good grief.. the NY attorney general feels he can make a case against Trump for using $2,8 Million, when Trump spent $100,000,000,00 of his own multi-BILLION dollar holdings to get e;ected? Let's face it.. Trump's Foundation spendings/expenses are under IRS scrutiny annually separate from his personal and business reports. Yeah .. right. Now the Clinton Foundations.. especially the ones in Canada, need a lot more scrutiny... not only by the NY attorney general but IRS as well.

---
From the "strange bedfellows" department - L-E story: "Sens. Marco Rubio and Elizabeth Warren plan to introduce a bill that would prevent states from suspending residents’ driver’s and professional licenses over unpaid federal student loans. Critics have called the practice a self-defeating approach that denies borrowers the means to pay their debts." -- You know.. student loans would not be as grave a debt problem if loan companies had to use good business practices to issue them, and if government was not standing on ready to bail out the loan companies, colleges, or students.. the government cannot.. should not bail out individuals (banks for that matter, either) who aren't qualified by assets or job potential to get such loans.. One solution would be to limit loans only after students complete one year of non-remedial college courses. Another would be to limit loans except to majors in "professional studies" that will provide students with above average income streams. Better yet, limit loans for standard college majors to two years, and up to 3 years additional if going to a graduate degree in educational. medicine, legal, and/or business degrees.

L-E story: "Lamanta Reese lived much of his gang life in virtual reality, posting videos on YouTube of him and others taunting rivals. He died at age 19 in the real world, bleeding from his head onto a porch on Chicago’s South Side after one of those gang rivals, prosecutors say, shot him 11 times * Reese, whose nickname was Taedoe, was prolific on Twitter, posting 28,000 tweets under the handle @taedoeDaShoota. He displayed bravado but was also introspective, tweeting about his odds of dying a violent death. One of his last tweets read: “Death Gotta Be Easy Because Life is Hard.” -- 19.. 19 years of age and was already feeling "Life is hard" You know.. this is another failure of the public education system... it doesn't matter whether or not he received a diploma (betting he did.. for participation and legislative statistical "facts"), this young man of 19 left public education feeling hopeless and unprepared to end the cycle.

Hey.. wasn't Obama's Secretary of Education the former Shicago Superintendent?

---
L-E headline/story: "US support for death penalty inches up, poll finds * A Pew Research Center poll released Monday found that 54 percent of Americans are in favor of capital punishment for people convicted of murder, up from the 49 percent the same survey found two years ago." -- "inches up"? I guess, the pollsters started asking a few non-liberals how they "felt".. Without the death penalty.. and it's vigorous use of it in capital cases, there is no deterrent to curb street violence like we are experiencing now.

---
L-E "headLIE": "California’s low suicide rate is a direct result of its gun laws" -- What an impossible stance to assume... or claim... suicides are a decision carried out by personal choice.. it matters not whether it's by gun, drugs, hanging or even suicide-by-police-engagement.. It doesn't happen because of an outside element.. it happens because a person decides on ending one's own life.

Happy Birthday, American Flag... Happy Birthday, President Trump!

---
From the "Blue Wave? More like the toilet bowl swirl" department - Online headline/story: "Mueller's approval rating among Democrats and independents on the decline * According to the Politico Morning Consult Poll, Mueller’s favorability among Democrats and independents has gone down over the past 11 months. * Even though 50 percent of Democrats still approve of his work, overall, 53 percent of the respondents had an unfavorable reaction to Mueller, which is a 26-point jump since these same polls started." -- "26-point jump"? Just mainscream media bias... A "jump" usually indicates higher.. this is a "plummet"..Blue Wave? More like the whirlpool as the toilet flushes.

---
From the "bias... what bias?" department - Online story: " Just over half of all Americans say they approve of how President Donald Trump has handled North Korea, but only a quarter think that his summit this week with Kim Jong Un will lead to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Wednesday." -- Hmmm.. a poll taken within 24 hours of an event when most Americans have gotten the "scoop" from mainscream media and/or Robert De Niro is suspect, but it still shows most of America is proud of the work/efforts of President Trump has to be crushing to the DIMocrats' November aspect..

---
Oh! I keep hearing that the DIMocrats don't have a message to run on in this , or any , election..I disagree... The DIMocrats always run on a message hatred, deceit, delusion, and division.

---
L-E headline/story: "MCSD asks for $50,000 to plan $11 million sports complex that’s full of uncertainty * The Muscogee County School District’s proposed $11 million sports complex in south Columbus, which has been threatened to not come to fruition due to slower-than-expected sales tax collections, could take a step forward if the school board approves the administration’s request to spend $50,000 for preliminary planning." -- "has been threatened not to come to fruition"? -- I expect self-gratifying decisions to come from the MCSD, but the MCSB needs to be questioning even the THOUGHT of spending $50,000.00 MORE dollars on what could be wishful.. and wasteful.. spending. I also see that the MCSD has an option to build it within the existing revenue stream.. Simply scrap the $7.2 Million on revamping 2 baseball fields, and another $6+ Million earmarked for metal-on-slab utility buildings , and there's more than enough to build the South Columbus Sports site.
From the same L-E story above: "MCSD’s 2015 SPLOST collections through March 31 show revenue is $12.2 million less than the $102.5 million that was expected at that point. That’s a shortfall of 11.9 percent." -- $12.2 million SHORT... and in less than 3 years.. What this shows is that the SPLOST-2015 revenues will probably come in over $20 Million SHORT of "expectations"..

What it also shows is Mayor Tom-LYING-son's "budget" is super flawed.. She has the City LOST tax revenues coming in at $4 Million MORE than they are currently producing... looks like she is leaving Skip with one last fiasco..

---
Hmmm.. in 1773, the Citizens of Boston protested Britain's unfair taxes by throwing "tea" into the Boston Harbor... wonder if the Mayor is prepared for Columbus citizens to throw "Queen TT" into the Chattahoochee?

---
Online story: "Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood dominated the competition at Connecticut’s girls track and field state championships earlier this week. Miller took 1st place in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, while Yearwood finished second in the 100. According to News 8 in Hartford, CT, both Miller and Yearwood are transgender which has some people saying that the pair had an unfair advantage." -- You know, "feelings"that a person can decide whatever gender they can be is "fair" will basically destroy what women have earned over the past 50 years.. It's no different than former Olympic Decathlon champion Bruce Jenner just wanting to be able to play from "the red tees" in golf..

---
HuffPOOPOO "headLIE": "If You Really Love LGBTQ People, You Just Can’t Keep Eating Chick-fil-A" -- You know.. Dan Cathey has the right to practice and speak out on and for his religious beliefs, but not once have you heard Dan Cathey say he didn't welcome LGBTQ people into the Chick-fil-A stores so they could enjoy the best fried chicken sandwiches in America.. In fact, Cathey would probably DIS-Enfranchise any store owner that didn't welcome all people in to their stores.

One thing that really gets me is that while mainscream media blasts people for "labeling", the outspoken "leadership" for homosexual rights LABELS all aspects as one bloc.. instead of looking at the rights of individuals as individual rights, all people they claim to represent are dumped into one group and will be "shunned" if they think or speak individually.

Haven't gotten a definitive answer about the extent of the new "distracted driving" law, but it may be that driving with only one hand on the steering wheel may get you a ticket..can't wait for a court challenge when an amputee veteran is stopped and ticketed.

Online headline/story: "California 'three states' plan OK'd for November ballot * An initiative to divide California into three states has received enough signatures to qualify it for the November ballot, the California secretary of state's office confirmed Tuesday. * The three-states campaign, dubbed “Cal-3,” submitted more than 600,000 signatures. * Tim Draper, a billionaire Silicon Valley venture capital investor, sponsored the ballot measure to divide America’s most populous state into three jurisdictions, the Mercury News of San Jose, Calif., reported. * “California government has rotted,” Draper told the Mercury News last month. “We need to empower our population to improve their government.” -- Hmmmm...I have say this will be interesting...of course it hasn't been decided whether the 49 states would recognized and approved of even 1 of the new states being accepted, much less all three of them, and which of the three would be responsible for the tremendous debt the present California is buried under.. Also.. this would be the hardest obstacle for the "3-Cal" states to overcome.. each would have to write a Constitution that doesn't conflict with the US Constitution in order to become a new state... fat chance...

I'm also curious is whether US citizenship of the 600,000 signers has been verified..

Hey.. I always like the symmetry of the 49-star US Flag better than the current 50, but let's make the 3-Cal committee to have to design a 52 state design that will be agreeable to the other 49 states.

After his shenanigans as governor, I was stunned that South Carolinians elected Mark Sanford but now South Carolina voters have corrected themselves. CONGRATS to Katie Arrington and...and the SC voters!

My in-laws are down-sizing. and my bride is helping them declutter .. going through a desk drawer, my bride found a miniature bark canoe souvenir of Canada with a mailing tag that assures it was made by "Canadian Indians"... Hmmm "Canadian Indians".. obviously Canada has not always been so liberal or politically correct as it "puts on" today..

From the "she who laughs last, lasts best" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story"'Roseanne': Roseanne Barr 'considering giving up' profits from potential spinoff * Since ABC canceled the highly-rated sitcom in response to Barr's racist Twitter activity at the end of May, sources close to the broadcast network have indicated that it plans on producing a spinoff centered on Sara Gilbert's character, Darlene Conner, and her family. * The biggest "stumbling block," however, was thought to be Barr herself: Because she's considered the creator of the show and its titular character, she would have a financial stake in any spinoff, and continuing to stay in business with Barr is exactly what everyone involved is seeking to avoid. * -- Reminds me of Br'er Rabbit pleading with Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear NOT to throw him into "dat der brier patch". Roseanne KNOWS that a "Roseanne Show" without her will be dead in the water as far as viewers tuning in, and ABC (A Buncha Clowns?) will take a huge profit hit...

Oh.. I just realized something.. my paternal grandfather was born on Dec 16, 1883.. the 100th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party...guess I come from real good genes..

From the "just because 'it didn't happen' doesn't mean 'it didn't happen'" department - Online headline/story: "Suspected Islamic extremist ricin attack plot foiled in Germany, prosecutors say * An Islamic terrorism plot to launch a deadly attack with the toxin ricin was reportedly thwarted in Germany, prosecutors revealed Thursday. * Authorities said a 29-year-old Tunisian, identified only as Sief Allah H., was taken into custody Wednesday after an investigation uncovered he had procured the materials needed to create ricin in mid-May and even succeeded in creating the toxin earlier this month." -- Once again.. Trump's decisions... and promises to keep us safe... are demonstrated successfully.. America cannot afford for the DIMocrats to get back involved in the future of America if we want our children and grandchildren to live freely.

---
From the "heaven help us.. liberalism will be the death of a safe society" department - Online headline/story: "Parole board to hear former juror's death sentence regrets * COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio Parole Board on Thursday planned to hear from a juror who recommended that a convicted killer be sentenced to death, but now believes he should be spared. * At issue is the case of death row inmate Raymond Tibbetts, who is set to die in October for killing Fred Hicks at Hicks' Cincinnati home in 1997. * After the parole board voted 11-1 last year against mercy for Tibbetts, ex-juror Ross Geiger came forward and said jurors were not given enough information about Tibbetts' tough childhood." -- Good grief.. 20 years later, one (_@_) is concerned about the home life of another (_@_)... and a government agency is going to listen to them! The only thing to consider.. IMHO... is what the guilty (_@_) deprived the victim and his family of... life.. maybe the (_@_) juror should be given the chance to swap places with the (_@_) felon in the death chamber...

L-E story: "A group backed by Democratic former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder wants one new majority-black congressional district in Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana in time for the 2020 general elections, according to new federal lawsuits filed Wednesday in each state." -- "wants one NEW majority-black congressional district in Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana"? Good grief... sounds like Pric Holder wants to create gerrymandered ethnic reservations... and against all the US Supreme Court decisions that have helped stop gerrymandering! Hey, Holder.. why not ask for all blacks be put in one district in each state... you'll get a guaranteed black DIMocrat representative in each state... on one hand, blacks would gain 5 representatives...but.. combined black representation in GA, AL, and LA would be reduced from 6 to 3.. maybe somebody should explain to Holder how segregation is more destructive than assimilation.

L-E headline: "Late CSU worker remembered as Santa, Candy Man" -- James "Sonny" Fitzpatrick .... What a really nice guy... my bride and I got to know him when we had "My Party Place" on Broadway, and Sonny was the man who took care of ant=y maintenance problems CSU had to address..

L-E headline: "Sports betting unlikely anytime soon in Georgia" -- Hmmm.. guess politicians know that if Georgians could easily place bets online, the lottery revenues would drop to next to nothing..

From the "who'da thunk" department - Online headline/story: "Rubio: Coverage of Trump’s North Korea summit exposes 'incredible hypocrisy' of media * “I too have concerns about how all this with #NorthKorea will turn out. But I don’t recall all the ‘experts’ criticizing Obama when he met with a brutal dictator in #Cuba who also oversaw a police state & also killed & jailed his opponents. #DoubleStandard,” Rubio tweeted. * “When Obama did these things, he was described as enlightened. When Trump does it he is reckless & foolish. 1 yr ago they attacked Trump for leading us towards war, now attack for being too quick for peace." -- Hmmm... who'da thunk that I would be citing Marco Rubio for nailing the mainscream media for hypocrisy... yet here I am...

So, a judge has given permission for AT&T to acquire Time Warner. President Trump is probably "LOL".. With his disdain for Time Warner's CNN, who but AT&T is better at destroying it's assets.

I just wonder why the FCC is concerned over the ownership of CNN...We know CNN ratings suck, so why does the FCC feel that CNN even deserves to be on every cable system?

---
Online headline/story: "Embarrassment for CNN as Chris Cuomo’s new show trounced by MSNBC in anti-Trump smackdown * “Cuomo Prime Time" finished its first week with viewership down 9 percent compared to CNN’s 9 p.m. programming the same week last year. In addition, Friday’s episode lost 23 percent of the viewers who tuned in for last Monday’s much-heralded premiere." -- Welcome to Liberalville, AT&T..

---
Online headline: "Trump's 2020 campaign manager calls for CNN's 'absolute disgrace,' Jim Acosta, to lose press credentials" -- Well, no rush here.. with AT&T in control, Costa will be gone via natural attrition that follows AT&T.

Have you seen the Experian ad telling you that you can get a free Dark Web scan of your SS#, e-mail address on the Experian site. Hmmm...isn't it BECAUSE of a hack into the Experian system that we have identity theft to fear? Sorry Experian, too little, too late.

From the "will Starbucks close again for sensitivity training?" department - Online headline/story: "Seattle City Council votes to repeal 'head tax' weeks after enactment * Seattle's city council, facing stiff opposition from the business establishment, voted on Tuesday to repeal a newly enacted "head tax" imposed on the city's largest companies, including Amazon.com, as a way of fighting an affordable housing crisis." -- You know, Starbuck's initial response to being singled out for discriminating against loiterers who wanted to use one of it's bathrooms was to "open up" to all.. that lasted.. what.. two days before coffee grinds weren't the only "dregs" taking up space...and now only weeks after Seattle passed the "head tax", Starbuck Schultz raised the price of coffee in his stores to fight City Hall. Well, at least this is the way it seems...

Online headline/story: "NFL, MLB will participate in NYC Pride March for the first time this month * The NFL and MLB will be making their debut in the parade, joining the NHL, NBA and WNBA on June 24. The five leagues are all currently registered to march in the parade and will have floats" -- Hmmm wonder how many of Colin KaeperPRICK's supporters will "take to their knees" on the streets of NYC?

From this story: "The MLB will send nearly 200 employees to the march, including Deputy Commissioner Dan Halem. Former umpire Dale Scott and former player and current league executive Billy Bean — who are both openly gay — will also participate." -- Just for clarity.. Billy Bean is not BILLY BEANE... of "Moneyball" fame.

From the "no new law would have mattered" department - Online headline/story: "Florida man kills four children, himself during standoff, police say * The standoff ended at about 9 p.m. local time on Monday, when police entered the apartment and found the children and the suspect Gary Wayne Lindsey Jr. dead of gunshot wounds, Orlando Police Chief John Mina told reporters during a press conference. * The officer who was shot was in critical condition, Mina said. * Two of the children were Lindsey's. The woman who called police was the mother of the other two children * Lindsey was a felon on probation after he pleaded no contest to arson and other charges stemming from an incident in 2008" -- Tis true, tis true, tis true.. when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns..

---
From the "One more reason why we need our local elections to be held in November" department - L-E headline/story: "Mayor Tomlinson’s last budget includes changes to garbage fee, city pay * Mayor Teresa Tomlinson won approval Tuesday from Columbus Council on a 2019 fiscal year budget of $275.3 million. * “It’s an important day,” Tomlinson said before council approved the budget that raises the garbage collection fee by $1 to $18 a month and gives all full-time city employees a raise of 1.5 percent." -- We have a "lame duck" Mayor making decisions for the next mayor to deal with 7 months after the election.. the whole premise of her budget is based on the two LOST taxes bringing in $71 Million dollars when actual ongoing results show that $67 Million is all that should be counted on which means when the new mayor takes control, 9 or 10 more days of the Fund Balance may have been carved out of the City Savings Account for "rainy days".

Hmmm... I see Columbus has it's Second Annual Columbus Black Rodeo coming in July * will be filled with loads of fun as some of the best black cowboys around converge on the Columbus Civic Center... Really.. how inclusive does this make the rest of Columbus "feel"? Oh, and why did the Civic Center even book ab event that is upfront about it's segregation?

You know..when I woke up this morning, I could sit up in bed and say, "What a great day!" Jesus is my Savior and Trump is my President. And I can do that every day! God is good.

Almost had a heart attack yesterday...was partially tuned in to my radio and I heard clips that said DeNiro had apologized for...what he said about Trump...uh oh..to good to be true..De Niro apologized to Canada...well...he's been on my movie boycott list for awhile..any suggestions of additional sanctions I can add?

Looking back I can remember when Hellary was held up to us as "the smartest woman in the world ..In retrospect, what mainscream media meant was Hellary was the smartest DIMocrat women in their world...Of course, her competition was/is the likes of Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Washerwoman Schultz, and Pocahontas Warren...I can see why DIMocrats could believe Hellary was smart in comparison.

Can you believe UpChuck Schumer complaining about whether or not President Trump gave Kim Jong Ooops too much leverage in negotiations? Now, where was Schumer when Obama gave Iran pallets of cash and a clear route to develop nuclear bomb capability?

---
Online headline/story: "Reporter Asked Trump if He’s Being Outsmarted by Kim Jong Un, What He Said Next Left The Room in Silence * Leave it up to the mainstream media to try and devalue Pres. Trump’s historic accomplishment. Things got pretty heated as Pres. Trump was repeatedly asked if he is being outsmarted by North Korea. His response was epic. * “You have a different Administration. You have a different President.” * “We get it done… The other groups, maybe it wasn’t a priority. I don’t think they could’ve done it if it was a priority, frankly. And it would’ve been easier back then. For me, it would’ve been much easier if it were 5 years ago, 10 years ago. This goes back… for 25 years this should’ve happened.” _- You know, Trump is the deal-maker he claims to be... he out-dealt the establishment Republicans and the DIMocratic Party by dealing directly with the American voters who wanted America to be Great Again, and has kept our confidence.. and loyalty.. by keeping his promises..Trump 2020!

---
Online headline: "Weeping Dennis Rodman praises Trump's meeting with friend Kim Jong Un, blasts Obama for ignoring him" -- How about Rodman in a "Make America Great Again" hat! Rodman joins Kanye West in enlightening the DIMocrat "taken-for-granted-too-long" database.

Mainscream media seems to have... no, has forgotten..well, more like demolished the sacred rule of good journalism....report the news, not your views.

Anybody know how the Columbus teams fared in the Memorial Day Weekend tournament that had to be moved to Atlanta ... How about which teams won?

---
You know.. the primary elections are actually unnecessary.. each party could nominate a candidate for placement on the November ballot WITHOUT having a public primary, but they don't because they like the publicity of their candidates names to get media time. Now, why should the taxpayers shoulder the costs of these non-elections? I doubt this mention will get more than a ripple in the community, but I do think the community should be treated fairly.. How about a rule that political parties cannot participate in the primary elections unless... unless they put up at least two candidates for every post on the ballot..even with a great incumbent, voters should have a way to show their approval OR disdain.

There's a new list out ranking states by "best & Worst Economies". Georgia fares well ... we're in the "Top 10"..but... no telling where GA could rank if it didn't have to count Columbus's declining economy and rising unemployment figures.
Overall Rank

Hey Council.. stop the bleeding from our business and retail closures! Amy Bryan.. isn't this YOUR Chamber department's business?

Oh.. one question.. why do pollsters include Washington, DC as a "state"? Our Founding Fathers specifically did not want Washington, DC to be in any one state no be considered a state.

Have you seen the Experian ad telling you that you can get a free Dark Web scan of your SS#, e-mail address on the Experian site. Hmmm...isn't it BECAUSE of a hack into the Experian system that we have identity theft to fear? Sorry Experian, too little too late.

Got another "Chamber Invite" today... this time for a Military Appreciation Breakfast sponsored by Liberty Utilities.. How appropriate.. The Chamber is presenting Casey Cagle,,, you know the one with the "open mike" problem like Obama had when telling the Russians he "would be more flexible after the (2012) election"? One thing for sure.. with Liberty and Cagle present, there's no chance of a "gas shortage"...

From the "bias. what bias?" department - Online headline/story: "GOP moderates' bid to force DACA vote falls 2 signatures short * Republican moderates in the U.S. House late Tuesday were reportedly two signatures shy of forcing a vote on a proposal addressing DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), the Obama-era program for delaying deportations of those who entered the U.S. illegally as children." -- From this headline, you'd think Republican is LOADED with moderates.. in truth, there are only about 22 of them.. the rest of the 216 votes "for" were made by Pelosi DIMocrats...

Yep.. another good reason for political parties to have at least two candidates running for every post in their primaries..

Epic... a simple yet powerful word.. describes the meeting of President Trump with Kim Jong Oooops.. Remember when Obama went on his "Apology Tour"... and bowed down to other despots? Well, sorry Chris Rock, this is the best "No Apologies Tour" of 2018.

Hey...all you folks who live on 54th Street here in Columbus, GA between Veterans Pkwy and River Rd...order a Dominos pizza for delivery then call Dominos about how the road condition shook up your pizza, and Dominos may come out and fix the road... hey, what have you got to lose.. there's an equal... or better... chance with Dominos coming sooner than Council will send help.

I like baseball, but....but baseball needs to make some changes to speed it up..Let's start with the pitchers ...pitchers control game t I'm me too much..especially with runners on base. How about limiting pitchers to 7 throws per batter...and I'm talking a total of 7..including pick-off throws. Keep the same balls/strikes, but if pitcher uses 7 throws and the batter hasn't struck out, got a hit or made an out, then send him to first base as a "walk".

Anybody heard ( or if on Council or running for a seat....know) what's going on about wasting more money on Golden Park for softball?

---
"Ihob"? You know, my bride and I enjoy periodic evening breakfast meals, and I can say unequivocally that even though burgers have always been on the menu, none pictured have ever enticed me to order one.

---
Ihop could have saved itself of a lot of costs just changing out signs and letterheads.. and still brought notice to "Burgers".. I H O P .. "It's Burgers Or Pancakes"

Yesterday marked 3 weeks since Zeph Baker promised he would post his Campaign Disclosures that were already delinquent. Hey Zeph...now "IT'S TIME!"... in fact.. WAY PAST time...

While this is not a rhetorical question, I do know the answer... but.. why hasn't.. why doesn't the Board of Elections enforce the rules of Campaign Disclosures? First step would be to put "teeth" into the penalty fines, but there comes a point that failure to comply must have physical penalties as well as fiscal ones.

Something needs to be done to restore tradition in college sports...Was watching my Mississippi State Bulldogs defeat Vanderbilt for a trip to Omaha, NE for the 2018 College World Series...but something was just not right..State...traditionally in Maroon and White/Gray, was wearing uniforms of black and white...and Vandy..which has Black & Gold listed as its school colors wore uniforms of navy, red, and white. When I first turned on the game, I was wrongly pulling against State defensively because they were wearing black uniforms and I mistook them for Vandy.

---
The College World Series teams meeting in Omaha include 3 SEC teams.. Joining Mississippi State (Hail STATE!) are Arkansas and Nationally number 1 ranked Florida.

FOX News has announced a new News Panel called the "A Team" .. with Juan Williams among them... looks like an "A Team" consisting of 3 Anchors and an (_@_).

Looks like we're in for rain for the next 8 days. Go ahead and replace that broken umbrella.

Soapbox Moment: Let's make the GA Legislators rue the new Cellphone law they inflicted on us...and make the impetus to change be something the Law Enforcement Officers demand..When you get in your car, initiate the blue tooth connection, then put your phone into the glove box and lock it. Then every time you see a police car put your right hand over your ear and "scratch an itch"..if the police put on their "lights", keep your hand over your ear until the officer comes to your door..then show him/her you have nothing in your hand. Enough "bad arrests" will get the bill moderated to fairness... and practicality.

From the "McClatchy just confirmed our suspicions" department - L-E headline: "McClatchy names South Region editor, to be based in Macon" * Macon resident Tim Regan-Porter has been named editor for McClatchy’s South Region, which includes newsrooms in Macon, Columbus and Biloxi, Miss." -- As tough as it was to get the Columbus L-E actually involved in the growth of the community, eliminating another Executive job here and putting us under a Macon entity is just the "shooting gun" that the Columbus "jury" needs to put the Columbus L-E out-of-its-misery. I do have two questions to ask.. Isn't Columbus' location better set to serve divisions in Mississippi and Macon, than Macon is? And, is this another reason the Chamber of Commerce is holding it's June "After Hours" at Strifler-Hamby at Parkhill Cemetery?

Oh, Mayor Tom-LYING-son.. be sure and add this to your "Legacy" on your political resume`...

It was bad enough that our mail.. even local-to-local address mail goes to Macon to get postmarked, but now local news will need Macon approval to get published.

From the "there is a clear answer right in front of us" department - Online headline/story: 'DOJ excoriates University of Michigan's 'bias response team,' says free speech is 'under attack' * The University of Michigan's sweeping "bias response policy" violates the First Amendment by punishing students for offenses as minor as hurting their classmates' "feelings," the Justice Department said Monday in a statement of interest filed in federal court." -- Good grief! Wasn't the original purpose of a higher education to expose... enlighten.. students to new ideas and thoughts.. well, universities under liberalism/Socialism are little more than "candle snuffers" any more. IDEA!. Maybe Trump should think about stepping down after this term.. the economy and America's Greatness have returned so he could hand the controls off to Mike Pence, then... then Pence could name Trump the Education GURU, and put him in charge of remaking university policies, and curriculum.

---
From the "another celebrity needs to be put on 24/7 watch" department - Online headline: "Ireland Baldwin says she's suffered from suicidal thoughts: 'I have been at the lowest low in my life'" -- "lowest low in my life"? Wow.. I'd have thought having Alec Baldwin, her "Father", tell her, ""You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. "I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned." -- Having my dad say something like this would have been the absolute lowest moment in any my life. Maybe Ireland Baldwin has a "#MeToo" moment coming out soon.

With this in mind, how does NBC justify allowing Alec Baldwin appear on SNL?

---
From the land of "big TWITS" department - Online headline: "Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey forced to apologize for eating Chick-fil-A during Pride Month" -- You know, if the LGBTQ...WYZ community cannot get past Chick-fil-A's owner being a Christian, then there really isn't anything they need to be PRIDEFUL about.. How can one group deny another groups freedom of speech and still demand it for themselves.. Hey... the street is a two-way street.

---
L-E headline: "Columbus man faces armed robbery charges after stealing Nikes at gunpoint, police say * BY CHUCK WILLIAMS" -- Hey, UpChuck.. what
s the difference between these Nikes and the "sneakers" you headlined in another story recently.. they were Nikes as well, and a gun was used in both cases..

---
From the "one of the saddest and bravest acts a father has done" department - L-E headline/story: "Chief assistant district attorney held at gunpoint by his son, Columbus police say * A family dispute turned violent Saturday night when one of Muscogee County’s top law enforcement officials was kidnapped and held at gunpoint, according to Columbus police." -- All other thoughts aside.. let's pray for the entire Whitaker family.. Raise them up in this time of need...

---
From the "maybe he should have parked his ego back at home" department - Online headline/story: "Atlanta Braves pitcher Anibal Sanchez reportedly burglarized during start, $100G in jewelry stolen * Atlanta Braves pitcher Anibal Sanchez's Los Angeles hotel room was burglarized Saturday night while he was on the mound against the Dodgers, TMZ reported Sunday. * The website, citing law enforcement sources, reported that more than $100,000 in jewelry was taken from Sanchez's suite near downtown Los Angeles, including four watches. Investigators told TMZ there doesn't appear to have been forced entry to the room." -- "doesn't appear to have been forced entry to the room"? Good grief.. how many "master keys" does the hotel staff have? Question 1 of two: "Why would anyone playing baseball carry more jewelry than he could wear at one time? Question two, why didn't he place them in either the room or Front Desk safe?

Online headline/story: "Supreme Court gives green light to Ohio's voting roll purge * The Supreme Court ruled Monday that Ohio is allowed to purge eligible voters from the state’s registration records if they have not cast ballots in a while. * In a 5-4 ruling issued by Justice Samuel Alito, the high court ruled that Ohio’s law to trigger the removal of inactive voters from the state’s registry can be enforced. * We have no authority to second-guess Congress or to decide whether Ohio’s Supplemental Process is the ideal method for keeping its voting rolls up to date. The only question before us is whether it violates federal law. It does not. * We have no authority to second-guess Congress or to decide whether Ohio’s Supplemental Process is the ideal method for keeping its voting rolls up to date. * State officials argued that the process used by Ohio for more than 20 years is constitutional and legal, and meant to ensure election security. * The only question before us is whether it violates federal law. It does not."" -- Allows? It should be mandatory...in fact, before any other district or state...precinct even...accepts a transfer from another district, state or precinct, the new registration should be temporary based on getting confirmation from the previous registration office that the old form has been purged.

From the "no wonder teenagers are confused" department - L-E headline/story: "Parkland students excited to see Fey * Tina Fey was the star the drama students from Marjory Stone-man Douglas High School were most excited to see at the Tonys on Sunday, they told NBC’s Today show hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on Monday morning, just hours after bringing down the house with their rendition of “Seasons of Love” from Rent. * Fey’s “Mean Girls,” nominated for a dozen Tonys, including best book of a musical, ended the night by taking home exactly none, but her presence, at least, meant something to the students from Parkland, Fla., whose school was the site of the Feb. 14 school shooting that claimed 17 lives." -- Good grief.. with "role models" like Tina Fey, no wonder kids get bullied at school, and turn violent when there's no relief available.

---
From the "bias, what bias?" department - L-E headline: "Singapore summit: Excitement high, expectations lower" -- "expectations lower"? Mainscream media just will not look at itself in a mirror.. Hey, Mainscream Media, what could be lower than Obama bowing to despots, but not even talking with Kim Jong Oooops?

---
L-E headline: "Judge quizzes lawyers on Trump business with foreign nations" -- Good grief.. before he won the presidency, Trump WAS AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESSMAN! It's what prepared him better than any president since Eisenhower.

---
Online headline: "DNC votes to require Dem 2020 primary candidates be registered party members" -- Hmm.. then Congress should set guidelines about Bernie and Lieberman meeting with and supporting the DIMocrats in lockstep. Oh, and while the DIMs are at how about requiring primary candidates to show proof of American citizenship certification.. let's avoid a repeat of 2008. And also while they're at it, how about requiring the DIMocrat voter base and new voter registrants do the same.

---
From the "Message must have already been delivered" department - Online headline: "Bernie Sanders: Starbucks CEO 'dead wrong' on government-run health care" -- Hmmm.. and didn't Bernie vote against eliminating OObamaCRAP?

Online headline: "Robert De Niro says Trump not welcome at Nobu restaurants: 'I'd walk out'" -- You know, even though we haven't met, I consider President Trump a good friend...of me, my country, and our future..If someone disses my friend, he disses me as well.. Guess Deniro might want to change the name of his restaurants from "Nobu" to "No BUY", because me and my friends won't be dining there either.

From the "let's parse this closely" department - Online headline/story: "George Soros: Trump Is ‘willing to destroy the world’" * Billionaire investor George Soros has called President Trump a “narcissist [who is] perfectly willing to destroy the world in order to maintain his narcissism.”" -- For clarity's sake, let's examine Soros statement... "Trump is willing to destroy the world"? Correctly, Trump is MORE than willing to destroy SOROS' WORLD.. you know, the New World Order Soros wants for his own benefit. Trump just wants America to be the WORLD's greatest country... AGAIN!

Another failure of the new GA Cellphone Law...let's say you have your phone connected to your car's blue tooth connection, and the rings. It's a very personal call involving a family member being in an urgent situation..you have children or non-family members riding in your car, and the subject matter needs to be shielded. You want to make it private..you transfer to your hand unit..you're now breaking the law as it stands... Bad Law!

From the "imagine that.... DOH!" department - Online headline/story: "Dick’s Says Firearms Policy Hurt Their Hunting Business, Will Continue to Hurt Going Forward * CEO says Dick's may stop selling firearms altogether * Dick's Sporting Goods announced on Wednesday that their recent endorsement of gun control policies and hiring of gun control lobbyists has hurt their sales of firearms and hunting accessories. * The store announced in February it would be re-instituting a ban on sales of AR-15s and similar rifles as well as certain firearms magazines * "As expected, our firearms policy changes impacted our hunt business which saw an accelerated decline in an already challenged category," Dick's CFO Lee Belitsky told analysts. "We expect these businesses to remain under significant pressure throughout the remainder of the year." -- "our firearms policy impacted our hunt business"? Hmmm... Hey, Prick's, your firearm policy impacted EVERY aspect of your business... we haven't bought a golf ball. exercise clothing of sports shoes since.

Online headline/story: "Gay Democratic Candidate Sends Message to Trump By Kissing His Partner * "Here are a few things I've done that already infuriate him:

Protected Planned Parenthood from Republicans in Congress -- "Take that Trump!"
Helped ban assault weapons in Maryland -- "Take that NRA!"
Believes in public schools, not vouchers -- "Take that Trump, and Betsy DeVos. YEAH!"

Hmmmm...seems that with a 33-14 DIMocrat majority in the Maryland Senate, there's hardly any chance Republicans have a say about any of the claims this candidate makes. but what he doesn't say is that he fights for law enforcement officers rights and lives. Typical DIMocrat.

---
Huh? ... Maine is having an election in which voters rate candidates from 1 to ever how many are running...and if the number 1 vote getter doesn't get a majority the low man on the totem pole is eliminated, and his/her votes go to o the next level..and the process repeats until one person gets a majority..depending on how voters rank the candidates, the 3rd or 4th best vote-getter could win .. and without a run off.

We need to get liberalism declared a mental health epidemic and a disqualifier to vote or hold office.

---
Online headline: "Pelosi scoffs at strong US consumer confidence figures" -- Hmmm... just confirmation that the DIMocrats do not want the DIMocrat voter base to prosper and shed the shackles of a liberal government...

---
I'm tired...it's not enough for the L-E to report the murders,...too many other shooting are occurring that only get mentioned on a local crime page on Facebook. I really would like to know how many people get shot that don't die.. and the L-E doesn't feel other Columbus citizens should know about..

Online headline/story: "Eatery workers: Boycott Army base that called ICE on pizza delivery guy * If an army marches on its stomach, the forces at Fort Hamilton had better learn to cook. * Villavicencio, 35, wound up in immigration detention Friday after dropping off Italian food at the base — where officials refused to accept his IDNYC card as identification and then ran a background check, revealing he has an outstanding deportation order from 2010. * Eateries near the Brooklyn Army base, which handed over an undocumented pizza deliveryman to immigration agents last week, are now refusing to send their own workers into the garrison. * “I won’t send my guys there anymore,” said Josefina Cardoso, owner of the El Puente restaurant in Bay Ridge. * “I would feel guilty if something happened.” -- What "good business".... NOT.. Obviously, the owner is in violation of federal hiring practices, but who jeopardizes the jobs of actual American citizens by shutting down deliveries that probably will shut down the business and their jobs?

I'm curious.. you know, if an American prisoner "breaks out" of jail, gets away.. and starts a "new life" under another name...even becomes law abiding and productive..but gets discovered years.. even decades later, the escapee still goes back to prison.. why should illegal aliens be treated any different for "breaking in"?

Online headline/story: "Veteran of Senate Intel Committee charged with lying to investigators in leak investigation * Federal prosecutors accuse James Wolfe, the former security director for the Senate Intelligence Committee, of lying to FBI agents in December 2017 about his contacts with three reporters, including through his use of encrypted messaging applications. According to the indictment, Wolfe made false statements to the FBI about providing two reporters with non-public information related to the matters occurring before the committee. * The indictment provides a detailed account of Wolfe's interactions with one specific unnamed reporter. Prosecutors say Wolfe eventually admitted to being in a personal relationship with that reporter, dating back to 2014. * Investigators obtained email and phone records for the pair allegedly showing "tens of thousands of electronic communications," including a text message from Wolfe that read in part: "I've watched your career take off even before you ever had a career in journalism. . . . I always tried to give you as much information that I could and to do the right thing with it so you could get that scoop before anyone else . . . ." -- Hmmm ...more "pay-for-play and "tit-for THAT"" antics DIMocrats feel is warranted by their Machiavellian approach to end results.

Online headline/story: "BARACK OBAMA DENIED 3 Requests By Alice Johnson’s Family To Commute Her Life Sentence * Alice Johnson was ecstatic. First, she thanked Jesus Christ and then she thanked President Trump. * “I want to, first of all, thank my Lord and Savior, thank Jesus Christ. Without Him, I can do nothing, but with Him, I can do everything! I want to thank President Donald John Trump. Hallelujuah! For giving me another chance to live and restoring me to my family.” * After four years and two presidential administrations, Alice Marie Johnson is finally going home." -- Hmmm.. maybe Alice Johnson's words.. that her life matters... should be the rally call for the black community in the 2018 and 2020 elections..

We had Vacation Bible School at First Baptist last week, and children's voices were raised in praise.. one of the songs they learned really caught my eye .. and imagination..The song had the words," God the Spirit. God the Father. God the son...one plus one plus one equals ONE.. I thought how appropriate for today's " new math" classes...and it would get God back into our schools.

From the "run, Toto, run" department - Online headline/story: "Kansas Officials Rule That Dog Candidate Cannot Run For Governor * Kansas officials recently ruled that a three-year-old Wirehaired Vizsla named Angus P. Woolley would not be allowed to run for governor of the Sunflower State" -- Thank heaven's for Trump! Can you imagine government officials response had Hellary won... it would have been all about "diversity"..

From the L-E finally gets a headline right" department - L-E headline: "Critics blast US move to imprison border detainees" -- Yes.. "critics" is correct... on the other hand, PATRIOTS celebrate each capture and incarceration until they can be deported again..

Did you blink? If you haven't noticed, Richard Mahone is no longer publisher of the Columbus L-E... No, Mahone has been moved to the Charlotte, NC area and put over 5 McClatchy newspapers... guess McClatchy liked the way Mahone brought the Columbus paper to it's knees. It's going to be interesting when the L-E publishes a "Board Editorial" when there is only one person left on what use to be a 5 person board..

Online headline:"In bombshell, Trump says US backs out of G-7 communique, criticizes Trudeau" -- G7? MORE LIKE "USA and the g6"..seems America has more GDP than the other 6 combined... sorta like the mice that roared.... or the little piggie that went wee, wee, wee all the way home..

Just rethinking about the fact that some hospitals will put in an "X" in the Gender box on a certified birth certificate of a new born baby.. even liberals acquiesce that a fetus not aborted is a person. but surely no baby born can make the decision to alter what God has made him or her, so, in effect.. the baby's parent (s) and doctor have "aborted" the living baby's civil rights.

I predict that Prick's Sporting Goods existence in Columbus, GA is soon to be closed.. With all the hullabaloo the Prick's chairman has made about removing firearms from it's inventory, in comes Academy Sports down the street..and sending out mailers proudly showing Smith & Wesson, Ruger , Sig, Remington, and Glock are brands they offer.

Online headline/story: "'Communism will win' officer receives 'other than honorable' discharge from Army * Spenser Rapone, the former second lieutenant whose “Communism will win” photos went viral in 2017, has received an “other than honorable” discharge from the Army. * The former West Point cadet who called himself “Commie Beebop” on Twitter rejoined civilian life without an honorable discharge. Mr. Rapone used the social media platform on Wednesday to promote an upcoming Socialism 2018 talk in Chicago titled “War Resister in the Ranks.” -- Wow... WE dodged a bullet... If Hellary had won, this (_@_) would probably be our Secretary of Defense.

From the "Communism is RAMPANT within the liberal ranks... hmmm.. rewind... the rank liberals" department - Online headline/story: "'Bring on the Recession': Bill Maher 'Hoping' for Economic Crash to Oust Trump * Maher made the remarks on his HBO talk show, "Real Time with Bill Maher." * "I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point," he said. * "By the way, I'm hoping for it because one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession." -- Sad... but even sadder is that the DIMocratic Base Voters and mainscream media feel this is "humor".

The new GA Cellphone law demonstrates how out of touch our legislators are with reality...they feel it will make the streets safer and produce more revenue (and more importantly "the latter")..Actually, what will happen is the increased time officers will be required to be in court to testify will remove law enforcement FROM being on the streets to respond to violent street crimes.

Remember last week when I mentioned the error in a L-E story listing Westville being on MLK Blvd..Well, one if our Breakfast Clubbers sent pics showing it's definitely out on South Lumpkin Road as I mentioned.

Spectrum needs to be hit with a CLASS ACTION Law Suit.. for FALSE ADVERTISING! In January of 2017, I switched from WOW to Spectrum based on Spectrum's "promise" of a 2 year package agreement that my rates would stay the same.. After box charges and fees, my bundled package came to $122.XX a month... 2 months later, Spectrum took the "Golf Channel" out and said it would be an additional $12.00 a month.. I told them , "No", the networks carry it on Saturdays and Sundays.. a couple of months later, my bill went to $126.XX a month as Spectrum add another dollar (times 4 boxes) to our bill.. toay, I received our next auto-pay bill, and it's now $132.XX.. It's not so much the increase amounts, but the fact that I was told my bill would be the same for 2 years.. I am so cutting the cable..SPECTRUM...out this Fall..as soon as I can get my best setup of digital antenna and streaming services along with a reliable WiFi provider.

From the "the other shoe is dropping" department - Online headline/story: "Canada warns immigrants in the US about fleeing to the north * Canada officials want to make it clear for would-be immigrants looking to cross the US-Canada border that they should do so legally. * Randy Boissonnault, an adviser to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is trying to spread the message amid a surge of immigrants in the U.S crossing illegally into Canada, mostly via the Quebec province. * In August alone, Royal Canadian police caught more than 5,000 mostly Haitian immigrants trying to cross in the country. " -- Hmmm... Hey Canada... Build a WALL!

From the "rich get richer" department - L-E headline/story: "Georgia to end collection of local sales tax on jet fuel" -- Forget Delta.. besides there won't be any savings for any class of passenger, but the biggest beneficiaries will be private and corporate jet owners..sadly, down the road.. as the economy grows, even the Governors "plan" to "make-up" the local tax revenues lost will not keep up actually jet fuel local sales taxes lost.... Hey, Representative Pezold.. how'd you vote... or recuse yourself? Hmmm... guess it doesn't matter since you'll benefit anyway...

L-E headline: "China hacked Navy contractor, got sensitive sub data" -- well. well, well... I guess since Clapper and previous Obama linked FBI/Security personnel are insisting that "informants" are not spies, China already has its defense strategy

From the "Build the Wall... NOW!" department - L-E story: "Officials in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila have confirmed the killing of a candidate for Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies. * The state prosecutors’ office says it is investigating a video circulated in local media showing a man approach ruling party candidate Fernando Purón at the end of an electoral debate Friday in the border city of Piedras Negras. * Purón had served as mayor of Piedras Negras, which has been hard-hit by organized crime. * More than 20 candidates have been killed ahead of the July 1 elections." -- Good grief.. Piedras Negras, Mexico is nearly a 13 hour drive to Mexico City and only a 2.5 hour dive to San Antonio, TX.. in fact, Piedras Negras, Mexico is only a 15 hour dive to Columbus, GA.

From Columbus Council Agenda: "CLAFLIN SCHOOL PROJECT LEASE AMENDMENT: Approval is requested to amend the current lease agreement with Friends of Historic Claflin Inc. to extend the lease term, and incorporate additional requirements needed to satisfy the investors for the project. FHC and Oracle Consulting Services are requesting amendments to the existing lease agreement in order to finalize the financing needed to start construction. Based on the request, staff is recommending that the lease agreement and any other agreements between the parties be revised as follows: Extend the term of the lease agreement from 45 years to 65 years. Allow provisions to be added to the lease agreement to use the building as collateral to allow for financing to be obtained. -- "Allow provisions to be added to the lease agreement to use the building as collateral to allow for financing to be obtained"? you know.. something reeks about this.. I remember when our family built at Columbus Square back in the 1970s.. We thought we would buy the building ourselves, but found out quickly we could only get about 40% of it's value as collateral as the building had "no guaranteed access" from a City Street. I'd be weary about even loaning money on such a project, and the City should be careful about getting mixed up in such a quandary.

Online headline/story: "There's a 'special place in hell' for Trudeau after his G7 'stunt,' top WH Trade Adviser Peter Navarro says * "There's a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad faith diplomacy with President Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door," Navarro said. "And that's what bad faith Justin Trudeau did with that stunt press conference. That's what weak, dishonest Justin Trudeau did. And that comes right from Air Force One." -- Hmmm.. looks like Trudeau will scurry home going wee, wee, wee, instead of saying oui, oui, oui.

From the "I'm not the least bit surprised" department - L-E headline/story: "TRAFFIC
State sees rise in deadly crashes with pedestrians * So far this year, 111 pedestrians have been killed on state roads – an increase of 16 percent from this time last year, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. * In 2017, 260 pedestrians were struck and killed in the state, up from 232 in 2016. The 260 deaths last year was double the number killed in 2011." -- Like I said.. I'm not the least bit surprised... well, I am surprised a bit we don't have more of it in Columbus. Just look at shopping areas.. people walk across the drive areas and step off curbs without bothering to look in either direction.. and then there's the Veterans Parkway... especially at the section south of the River Road intersection.. people... sometimes with toddlers in tow, leave Wilson Homes, cross over the railroad tracks, then walk straight across to either the liquor store or Family Dollar Store and back.. Seriously. there needs to be some sort of barrier fence erected to guide foot traffic to the intersection crosswalk..

From the "lazy... lazy... reporting job" department - L-E story: "Harpreet Singh, 26, was arrested Friday on charges of commercial gambling, keeping a gaming place and possession of burglary tools, according to the police report. * The report lists 1600 Floyd Road as the location. * Google Maps identifies the site as Jay Dee’s Cleaners, but the owner of that business, Bobby Graham, told the Ledger-Enquirer in a phone interview Sunday he sold that property in July 2016 and a convenience store is now at that address." -- "Google maps"? Good grief.. had the "reporter" simply logged into the Columbus Tax Database.. he'd quickly seen the property changed hands in June of 2016 and is now owned by one MANJIT SINGH... possibly of the same family.

L-E guest commentary headline: "Democrats sometimes act just like Trump * BY NICHOLAS KRISTOF * The New York Times" -- Sometimes ACT just like Trump"? Only on their best behavior days..DIMocrats are just not use to having somebody stand up and call them out.

Friday, June 8, 2018

You know, the mainscream media and DIMocrats that are squealing the most about Trump's "proposed" tariffs are supporting squealing countries that already HAVE tariffs on American products... in effect, the "squealers" are the issue... sorta like the last "little piggy" going home, screaming oui, oui, oui.

From the "world of 'Pelosi believe' " department - Online headline/story: "Pelosi Speaks for Workers: ‘Hip, Hip Hooray, Unemployment is Down! What Does That Mean to Me?’ * "So, in terms of the national stability of America’s working families," said Pelosi, "unless we have an increase--a very significant increase in wages--bigger paychecks, we are going to increase the frustration of America’s families because they’ll be saying: Hip, hip hooray, unemployment is down! What does that mean to me in my life? I need a bigger paycheck.’ That’s the apprehension American families have had for a while and continue to have and we must address.”" -- What American "families" is she talking about... career Congresspersons families?

From the "Houston... uh... Georgia, we have a problem" department - Online headline/story: "26-Year-Old Wins Local Office in Georgia, Takes Her Oath of Office on Autobiography of Malcolm X * Since Tuesday’s elections held throughout the nation, an already iconic photo has been sweeping the internet—of 26-year-old Mariah Parker taking her oath of office as Athens-Clarke County, Ga., commissioner for District 2, with her mother holding, not the Bible or Quran, but another good book: Alex Haley’s Autobiography of Malcolm X. * Parker, who reportedly won by only 13 votes, ran as a progressive, and on her campaign website she declared that “it’s time for bold, progressive leadership in Athens.” * “My platform centers around economic and racial justice,” * She added: “The racists have all the money, still, so it’s economically advantageous to cater to them. If we had a black middle class, those places would integrate on their own.” Parker listed her No. 1 priority as setting aside 30 percent of city contracts for black- and Latino-owned companies, according to Flagpole." -- I see Columbus is not the only city in GA that suffers from having so few voters decide local elections during primary season... Oh. and I do have a point to make about Alex Haley's book... it's not and "Autobiography".. at best it's a biography but more than like;y supposition

There's a list of "Deadliest U.S. Cities out.. as I recall Columbus had 36 (possibly more depending on who was counting) murders in 2017 which puts us at 18 murders per 100,000. which should have put us in the 17th place (between Indianapolis and Pittsburgh) NATIONALLY, but somehow, Columbus did not get included in this list...Talk about a need for a FORENSIC AUDIT !

Online story: "The White House on Thursday slammed the mayor of Philadelphia’s “disgusting” celebratory dance after a court ruled in favor of the city in a fight with the Trump administration on its sanctuary city status." -- This is getting ridiculous.. activist lower court judges feeling their feelings are more important than constitutional laws.. Hey, Supreme Court... how about squashing lower court judges trying to rule above their pay grade.

From the "what's so hard to believe" department - Online story: "NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover has found organic molecules on Mars, the space agency revealed in a major announcement Thursday. * During a press conference at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Goddard, Md., and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., scientists noted that the molecules provide fresh insight into the Red Planet. * “We found organic molecules in rocks from an ancient lake bed,” explained Jen Eigenbrode, research scientist at Goddard. A variety of molecules were identified, she added. * The rocks are billions of years old, according to NASA." -- You know.. I have no problem with believing that Mars could have had life at one time... one time when the Sun was hotter and made Mars a habitable entity.. Contrary to Global Warmist/Climate Changist "logic".. the Sun is actually cooling.. either naturally or by Divine concept.. and Mars cooled, Earth evolved into the place God chose to create "Man".

From the "mainscream media just can't deal with prosperity" department - Online story: "Kicking off Wednesday's monologue, Stephen Colbert issued Late Show viewers a warning before addressing President Trump's decision to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson. "I want you to brace yourself," he said, "because here's a sentence I don't often say: Donald Trump did somethin' good." * Colbert said "(Trump) did the right thing" concerning the 63-year-old who'd been sentenced to life for cocaine trafficking, but worried "maybe he did the right thing for the wrong reason." * "Trump just commuted her sentence because of a meeting with Kim Kardashian (West)," Colbert said. "So executive clemency is now just a reality TV show." -- Good grief..Since when is being a humanitarian and fair person ?wrong"? What we have here is just a liberal not  able to admit he was wrong in supporting Hellary and Obama,

Starbuck Schultz has stepped down from his Executive Chairmanship .. He's preparing to run for the DIMocrat presidential nomination. Good grief.. talk about an extreme "I was for it before I was against it" flip-flop.. It's her program she fought so hard for that's made this a reality..... and $100,000.00 ain't gonna do it.. I'm sure the Atlanta company has promised more than that to buy the property, and will not sell it back for a loss..

L-E headline/story: "Save the Date * Historic Westville has just completed moving its first phase of buildings to the new site in Columbus. The unveiling is scheduled for Friday, August 31. This money will be used for covering operational costs of the museum to include things such as day-to-day operations, educational programming for students and the ongoing development of new and exciting exhibits. L-E headline/story: "Foster makes ‘Hotel Artemis’ first-class * The film looks at “a typical Wednesday night” in the year 2028. The streets of downtown Los Angeles are the location for the most violent riot in the city’s history. All the blue war-painted protestors want is clean water, something that has become a premium in the state because of corporate greed." -- "because of corporate greed"? WRONG.. because of VOTERS/Politicians GREED... when people elect politicians who are more concerned about how much revenue it can extort to spend on programs that dissipate human self-sufficiency, the wheels eventually "fall off" civility...
