You know, the mainscream media and DIMocrats that are squealing the most about Trump's "proposed" tariffs are supporting squealing countries that already HAVE tariffs on American products... in effect, the "squealers" are the issue... sorta like the last "little piggy" going home, screaming oui, oui, oui.

From the "world of 'Pelosi believe' " department - Online headline/story: "Pelosi Speaks for Workers: ‘Hip, Hip Hooray, Unemployment is Down! What Does That Mean to Me?’ * "So, in terms of the national stability of America’s working families," said Pelosi, "unless we have an increase--a very significant increase in wages--bigger paychecks, we are going to increase the frustration of America’s families because they’ll be saying: Hip, hip hooray, unemployment is down! What does that mean to me in my life? I need a bigger paycheck.’ That’s the apprehension American families have had for a while and continue to have and we must address.”" -- What American "families" is she talking about... career Congresspersons families?

From the "Houston... uh... Georgia, we have a problem" department - Online headline/story: "26-Year-Old Wins Local Office in Georgia, Takes Her Oath of Office on Autobiography of Malcolm X * Since Tuesday’s elections held throughout the nation, an already iconic photo has been sweeping the internet—of 26-year-old Mariah Parker taking her oath of office as Athens-Clarke County, Ga., commissioner for District 2, with her mother holding, not the Bible or Quran, but another good book: Alex Haley’s Autobiography of Malcolm X. * Parker, who reportedly won by only 13 votes, ran as a progressive, and on her campaign website she declared that “it’s time for bold, progressive leadership in Athens.” * “My platform centers around economic and racial justice,” * She added: “The racists have all the money, still, so it’s economically advantageous to cater to them. If we had a black middle class, those places would integrate on their own.” Parker listed her No. 1 priority as setting aside 30 percent of city contracts for black- and Latino-owned companies, according to Flagpole." -- I see Columbus is not the only city in GA that suffers from having so few voters decide local elections during primary season... Oh. and I do have a point to make about Alex Haley's book... it's not and "Autobiography".. at best it's a biography but more than like;y supposition

There's a list of "Deadliest U.S. Cities out.. as I recall Columbus had 36 (possibly more depending on who was counting) murders in 2017 which puts us at 18 murders per 100,000. which should have put us in the 17th place (between Indianapolis and Pittsburgh) NATIONALLY, but somehow, Columbus did not get included in this list...Talk about a need for a FORENSIC AUDIT !

Online headline: "DOJ watchdog sets date for release of long-awaited review of Hillary Clinton probe" -- June 14th... Wow.. Talk about an America celebration.. that's FLAG DAY and Trump's birthday!

It was on again yesterday...the last two episodes of "Monk". I've seen them a half a dozen times or more over the years, and they still bring closure and a tear to my eye. At one time, I felt the last "M*A*S*H" was the best a show could end..but "Monk" is...

Gimme a break...how can hospitals offer to insert a "X" in the gender box of birth certificates?

--
Online story: "The White House on Thursday slammed the mayor of Philadelphia’s “disgusting” celebratory dance after a court ruled in favor of the city in a fight with the Trump administration on its sanctuary city status." -- This is getting ridiculous.. activist lower court judges feeling their feelings are more important than constitutional laws.. Hey, Supreme Court... how about squashing lower court judges trying to rule above their pay grade.

From the "what's so hard to believe" department - Online story: "NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover has found organic molecules on Mars, the space agency revealed in a major announcement Thursday. * During a press conference at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Goddard, Md., and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., scientists noted that the molecules provide fresh insight into the Red Planet. * “We found organic molecules in rocks from an ancient lake bed,” explained Jen Eigenbrode, research scientist at Goddard. A variety of molecules were identified, she added. * The rocks are billions of years old, according to NASA." -- You know.. I have no problem with believing that Mars could have had life at one time... one time when the Sun was hotter and made Mars a habitable entity.. Contrary to Global Warmist/Climate Changist "logic".. the Sun is actually cooling.. either naturally or by Divine concept.. and Mars cooled, Earth evolved into the place God chose to create "Man".

From the "mainscream media just can't deal with prosperity" department - Online story: "Kicking off Wednesday's monologue, Stephen Colbert issued Late Show viewers a warning before addressing President Trump's decision to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson. "I want you to brace yourself," he said, "because here's a sentence I don't often say: Donald Trump did somethin' good." * Colbert said "(Trump) did the right thing" concerning the 63-year-old who'd been sentenced to life for cocaine trafficking, but worried "maybe he did the right thing for the wrong reason." * "Trump just commuted her sentence because of a meeting with Kim Kardashian (West)," Colbert said. "So executive clemency is now just a reality TV show." -- Good grief..Since when is being a humanitarian and fair person ?wrong"? What we have here is just a liberal not  able to admit he was wrong in supporting Hellary and Obama,

Starbuck Schultz has stepped down from his Executive Chairmanship .. He's preparing to run for the DIMocrat presidential nomination. He says the DIMocrats are "overpromising" things like free College, free medical care, and free school lunches. Good grief...what does it matter what DIMocrats promise... they aren't going keep any of them anyway...they won't even TRY to keep them!

---
Online headline: "LeBron's dunk sets social media on fire, but Warriors win Game 3" --
He should have been called for traveling rather than be given 2-points..he basically passed the ball to himself which is an "air dribble" and a turn over.

Online headline: "Soros push to elect progressive DAs in California fails to attract voters" -- Talk about trying to "influence" an election...

---
L-E headline/story: "Concerned residents raise $100,000 in opposition to Columbus development * That letter from the group was accompanied by another from Mayor Teresa Tomlinson — and with a resolution from Columbus Council members — saying the city could not recommend the development under the current circumstances, which include TBG Residential’s lack of community input and involvement." -- " letter... was accompanied by another from Mayor Teresa Tomlinson"? Good grief.. talk about an extreme "I was for it before I was against it" flip-flop.. It's her program she fought so hard for that's made this a reality..... and $100,000.00 ain't gonna do it.. I'm sure the Atlanta company has promised more than that to buy the property, and will not sell it back for a loss..

L-E headline/story: "Save the Date * Historic Westville has just completed moving its first phase of buildings to the new site in Columbus. The unveiling is scheduled for Friday, August 31. In the new location, 1130 MLK, Jr. Blvd., Historic Westville will be expanding its interpretation to cover the entire 19th century, opening up exciting opportunities for programs and special events. Contributions can be made towards the 2018 Annual Fund Drive. This money will be used for covering operational costs of the museum to include things such as day-to-day operations, educational programming for students and the ongoing development of new and exciting exhibits. Call 706-940-0057 for more details." -- "new location, 1130 MLK, Jr Blvd"? What was all the ground breaking out on South Lumpkin Road past the National Infantry Museum last year?

---
Just curious, but in this world of gender equality, why are men allowed to run topless in street/fund-raising races, or wander about the community?

---
L-E headline: "War of 1812 is suddenly relevant again' -- Good grief.. the US has beaten Great Britain twice and saved Great Britain's butt twice.. that's what's relevant...

---
L-E "headLIE": "Democrats have blind spot when it comes to Bill Clinton" -- WRONG! The DIMocrats knew exactly what Bill Clinton was... and is.. but considered him a role model and hero... and above the law!

--
L-E headline/story: "Foster makes ‘Hotel Artemis’ first-class * The film looks at “a typical Wednesday night” in the year 2028. The streets of downtown Los Angeles are the location for the most violent riot in the city’s history. All the blue war-painted protestors want is clean water, something that has become a premium in the state because of corporate greed." -- "because of corporate greed"? WRONG.. because of VOTERS/Politicians GREED... when people elect politicians who are more concerned about how much revenue it can extort to spend on programs that dissipate human self-sufficiency, the wheels eventually "fall off" civility...
