Just rethinking about the fact that some hospitals will put in an "X" in the Gender box on a certified birth certificate of a new born baby.. even liberals acquiesce that a fetus not aborted is a person. but surely no baby born can make the decision to alter what God has made him or her, so, in effect.. the baby's parent (s) and doctor have "aborted" the living baby's civil rights.

Spectrum needs to be hit with a CLASS ACTION Law Suit.. for FALSE ADVERTISING! In January of 2017, I switched from WOW to Spectrum based on Spectrum's "promise" of a 2 year package agreement that my rates would stay the same.. After box charges and fees, my bundled package came to $122.XX a month... 2 months later, Spectrum took the "Golf Channel" out and said it would be an additional $12.00 a month.. I told them , "No", the networks carry it on Saturdays and Sundays.. a couple of months later, my bill went to $126.XX a month as Spectrum add another dollar (times 4 boxes) to our bill.. toay, I received our next auto-pay bill, and it's now $132.XX.. It's not so much the increase amounts, but the fact that I was told my bill would be the same for 2 years.. I am so cutting the cable..SPECTRUM...out this Fall..as soon as I can get my best setup of digital antenna and streaming services along with a reliable WiFi provider.

Piedras Negras, Mexico is nearly a 13 hour drive to Mexico City and only a 2.5 hour dive to San Antonio, TX.. in fact, Piedras Negras, Mexico is only a 15 hour dive to Columbus, GA.

From Columbus Council Agenda: "CLAFLIN SCHOOL PROJECT LEASE AMENDMENT: Approval is requested to amend the current lease agreement with Friends of Historic Claflin Inc. to extend the lease term, and incorporate additional requirements needed to satisfy the investors for the project. FHC and Oracle Consulting Services are requesting amendments to the existing lease agreement in order to finalize the financing needed to start construction. Based on the request, staff is recommending that the lease agreement and any other agreements between the parties be revised as follows: Extend the term of the lease agreement from 45 years to 65 years. Allow provisions to be added to the lease agreement to use the building as collateral to allow for financing to be obtained. -- "Allow provisions to be added to the lease agreement to use the building as collateral to allow for financing to be obtained"? you know.. something reeks about this.. I remember when our family built at Columbus Square back in the 1970s.. We thought we would buy the building ourselves, but found out quickly we could only get about 40% of it's value as collateral as the building had "no guaranteed access" from a City Street. I'd be weary about even loaning money on such a project, and the City should be careful about getting mixed up in such a quandary.

Got an e-mail from the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce.. one of the events it's advocating is it's "Business After Hours" on June 21st... at... get this... at "Strifler-Hamby Mortuary at Parkhill Cemetery".. Guess the Chamber wants to have a proper send-off for Mayor Tom-LYING-son while she's still with us..

State sees rise in deadly crashes with pedestrians * So far this year, 111 pedestrians have been killed on state roads – an increase of 16 percent from this time last year, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. * In 2017, 260 pedestrians were struck and killed in the state, up from 232 in 2016. The 260 deaths last year was double the number killed in 2011." -- Like I said.. I'm not the least bit surprised... well, I am surprised a bit we don't have more of it in Columbus. Just look at shopping areas.. people walk across the drive areas and step off curbs without bothering to look in either direction.. and then there's the Veterans Parkway... especially at the section south of the River Road intersection.. people... sometimes with toddlers in tow, leave Wilson Homes, cross over the railroad tracks, then walk straight across to either the liquor store or Family Dollar Store and back.. Seriously. there needs to be some sort of barrier fence erected to guide foot traffic to the intersection crosswalk..

Good grief.. had the "reporter" simply logged into the Columbus Tax Database.. he'd quickly seen the property changed hands in June of 2016 and is now owned by one MANJIT SINGH... possibly of the same family.
