Online headline: "Obama Calls GOP Medicare, Spending Plan 'Radical'" -- Looks like a pattern is being defined for Emperor Scarlet Obama... he's no good as a leader, but excels in 'name calling', and 'bullying'. Hey, maybe the Secretary of Education can send him to "alternative school'.

Online headline/story: "Obama White House, Pentagon At Odds Over Libya Policy * The White House wanted the Pentagon to come up with a low-cost regime-change plan for Libya. Ideally, this strategy would have toppled Col. Muammar Gaddafi without bogging the U.S. down in another inconclusive foreign adventure. And by no means could the plan have included young American infantrymen advancing under fire across the sand. * The military kept insisting that no such option existed. A real regime-change operation, some officers argued, requires "boots on the ground." -- Once again, Emperor Scarlet Obama proves the job of thr President is one of leadership, not organizing. If he will decide what he wants, and lets the military know the desired results, then let the military do what the military does best, we see desired results.

L-E headline: "TOOMER’S CORNER TREE POSIONING CASE * Updyke says he was attacked in Opelika " -- Since "we" are too civil to hang Updyke from the oak trees at Toomer's Corner, it would be more appropriate that some wood be saved from the trees to build Updyke a coffin for the appropriate time.

Online story: "In February, a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Pennsylvania donated some sandwiches and brownies to a marriage seminar hosted by the Pennsylvania Family Institute. Because the seminar promoted marriage as between one man and one woman, pro-homosexual activists launched an all-out attack on Chick-fil-A. * Some started calling the company's main product "Jesus Chicken," while others mocked and belittled the company's "Not Open on Sunday" policy. They even smeared company employees, calling them "anti-gay." -- "Anti-gay"? Is it because Chik-fil-A serves chicken but not rooster?

We recently received this message from our child's school: "We will not give out Attendance Awards in an effort to comply with the Health Department recommendations to discourage attendance when students are ill." -- Parents who send children to school when the children are sick do so for the convenience of it . No Health Department policy will change this. Now, high school students who attend every day will have no incentive on the days they feel like just rolling over and going back to sleep rather than go to school.

The DUMB&DUMBERats killed most of the housing market by forcing banks and mortgage companies to make loans to unqualified applicants, then converting them to investment packages backed by Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac which took down most investment portfolios, and now Emperor Scarlet Obama wants to to take away the mortgage interest deduction which has kept many families afloat through all of this. What's the man thinking...excuse me, this is not thinking, it's planned destruction.

Florida recently spent $14,000.00 on buying 6,000 red capes to distribute to the unemployed as a symbol that they have "Cape-A-Bility". Two things come to mind: Does Florida only think 6,000 of their unemployed are "Cape-able", and how much money did the government agency spend in deciding to who to distribute the capes and at what costs to do so?

From L-E story: "While the Easter Bunny presides over many local egg hunts, the bunny at My-Church in Midland will be dropping plastic eggs from a helicopter after each of four Sunday services. * And yes, the pastor, the Rev. Jeff Murphy, confirms that the eggs will be filled with candy. " -- Does this bring flashbacks of a classic "WKRP" show involving dropping live turkeys out of a helicopter into a shopping center parking lot, too?

Obviously, Lisa Goodwin must not have lived in Columbus when Mayor Jernigan addressed the 'cruising' on 4th Ave (now Veterans Parkway).
---
L-E headline: "City’s neighborhood improvement commission tours blighted areas" -- Who was the sponsor of this venture...Johnson&Johnson Band-aids? Poorinbg good money into a declining market is just another way to pour money down the drain. One day (take Eastlake in Atlanta as a great example), the areas will become attractive for private dollars to turn around, but it is not a project to spend tax dollars on. Just look at the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacle!
