California has 2.4 Million government employees. Probability is that each of those has 1 to 6 relatives with some dependence on those employees who can vote also (spouses, parents, in-laws, grown children). Therefore, there are 4.8 to 14.4 million voters with major interest in electing DUMB&DUMBERats to their state and US Congresses. In 2010, the CA population topped 37 million people, so there is a range of government dependent employees ranging from 13 to 38% of the population and a much higher percent of the voters base. Throw in all government program recipients and it's easy to see why CA is so pro-DUMB&DUMBERat, as well as why CA is bankrupt!

Mike Cameron.... name rings a bell, but until today, when I read in the paper that he makes nearly $8 million a year playing baseball, I wanted to know more. Turns out he's the centerfielder for Boston. Sure would have been nice if the L-E had mentioned that in the article, but I guess that's why Google stock is where it is , and McClatchy stock is where it is.
