Let's parse Elizabeth Warren's attack on the wealth of this country.  Most accumulated wealth is put in managed accounts that bring in about 5% returns.. This creates a steady base for growing businesses that pump up the economy..and income tax is collected from this.  If Warren gets her way, she would separately extract 2% off the top of that 5%, an effective rate of 40% of growth which not only is on top of federal income taxes, it chips away the investment in America's growth.... just to pay off bogus loans for deadbeat recipients..

Had a nose bleed yesterday AM and couldn't get it stopped so we went to the Northside emergency hospital..it did stop, and when we left, I was given a prescription for Claritin...I thought, why would they give me a prescription for an over-the-counter drug..well, I looked it up on my GoodRX prescription guide..if I bought it "off the rack", it's be $4.00, but if I gave it to the pharmacist, it would have cost $20.00. This is one if the main reasons healthcare/healthcare insurance is so out of touch with citizens. One other thing.. had my nose not finally stopped bleeding after additional pressure treatment, they were seriously discussing calling an ambulance to carry me to Piedmont Midtown because the Northside facility did not have a ENT trained doctor on hand to cauterize the wound. Heck, my wife, who drove me there was standing right with me, and could do the same without causing undue expense to me or the insurance.

I've been thinking further about one of our Public Defenders who expressed sympathy about three men arrested for having a large cache of meth..He felt they were dealing drugs as a

First, I have a statement to correct.. the Tax Assessed C+Value of the Train Depot is separated to the main property plus an auxiliary section of property, and between them, they are assessed at the selling price.. This does not undermine my statement that the total of $1,000,000.00 is not an $865,000.00 LOSS for the taxpayers in Columbus, but it does reflect another $1,900.00 in lost tax revenues.

 

While I thought a more-than-arms-length willing buyer and seller determined current Fair Market Value of property...(of course when it's a sweetheart deal...general rules don't count) If you haven't guessed both aspects )the lack of an arms-length separation, and establishing Fair Market Value do not apply on the sale of the Train Depot to a group of "friends of Teresa".
