From the "and her point?" department - Online headline: "Ocasio-Cortez defends Omar amid 9/11 controversy: GOP is 'happy to weaponize her faith" -- "weaponize her faith"? You mean that "faith" which sanctifies death to "infidels", promotes death as a family problem solver, and uses a dagger/scimitar versus a cross as it's symbol of power?

---
From the "Stephen King inspirations" department - Online headline/story: "Father, son accused of selling body parts infected with HIV, hepatitis to unknowing recipients * A father and son have been federally charged for allegedly selling body parts on the black market they knew were contaminated with infectious diseases. * Donald Greene Sr. was charged with wire fraud in relation to a years-long operation that involved selling diseased cadavers to unwitting researchers, the Associated Press reports. His son, Donald Greene II, was charged with intentionally concealing a crime." -- Even Hell will have to step up it's "game" to justify it's reputation for after life for people like this!

---
From the "Oprah gets something right" department - Online story: "Oprah Winfrey delivered the keynote address Wednesday at the 10th annual Women in the World Summit in New York City, where she urged women to "redefine" problematic cultural norms plaguing the United States. * "We live in a country that has somehow confused... what is moral with what is legal." -- Yes, this country's Democrats.. men and WOMEN, have decided laxity in discipline .. whether it's decimating our country by not building a wall against "illegal/immoral entries", or promoting terror on the streets of our major urban areas by abandoning strict punishment for violent criminals.. are how they define "moral". Both aspects allow criminals to roam about our country too freely..

From the "did I hear Mueller's investigation in this?" department - Online headline/story: "Ex-Obama WH counsel charged with lying in lobbying probe * (Greg) Craig, 74, was charged in a two-count indictment that accuses him of willfully concealing material facts from the Justice Department (making false statements and concealing information in a federal foreign lobbying investigation that intersected with the Russia probe) about work he performed for the Ukrainian government. The indictment, announced by the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, came a day after Craig's lawyers said he expected to be charged in the probe spun off from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation." -- Wow! Democrats and MSM-13 are having a meltdown! They want to side with Mueller against Barr, but Mueller and Barr are on the same page!

---
Hmmm...you know, PeLOUSY and Schumer et al Democrats clamored constantly that Trump harassing Mueller was "obstruction of justice"! What are they going to call it on themselves for harassing Attorney General Bill Barr?!

---
Online headline: "Chicago sues Jussie Smollett for investigative costs" -- Yes! Even Shicagoans' patience with Democrats has worn thin!

---
From the "flea-nomics 101" department - Online headline: "Warren targets big business with $1 trillion tax" -- Hmmm.. good grief.. this is exactly why Democrats do not deserve to live in America.. they want to make Big Businesses SMALL or extinct.. I suggest we deport all Democrats outside our borders and make them apply for re-entry based on whether they can show they cab be a "contributing asset" to our economy!

From the "excuse me.. but isn't this exactly he same argument Trump made?" department - From the above story: "Companies with profits over $100 million would face new corporate taxes under a proposal released Thursday by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. * The 2020 presidential hopeful said her "real corporate profits tax" is aimed at companies that report large annual gains but pay little in taxes thanks to a variety of tax credits and deductions that are available to lower their overall bill. * The senator pointed to Amazon as an example. The company paid no federal taxes on $11.2 billion in income last year, according to ITEP. An Amazon spokesman said at the time that the company "pays all the taxes we are required to pay" in response to the study." -- Amazon paid no taxes because it's founder, Jeff Bezos, says it "pays all pays all the taxes we are required to pay...Hey Jeff Bezos.. you own the WaPo, too, so how about running your tax forms next to Trumps when you get them! Better yet, post yours since you are the only one you need permission from to do so.. also post ALL your political donations!

From the "couldn't happen top a "vicer" guy" department - Online story: "Federal prosecutors said Thursday that attorney Michael Avenatti has been charged in a 36-count federal indictment in Southern California." -- Heh, heh, heh.. so.. California laws are not ABOVE Federal Laws.. it's about time California politicians understands this.

Online headline/story: "Read Barack Obama’s tribute to Nipsey Hussle * Obama’s speech follows in full:

Dear Friends and Family of Nipsey:

I’d never met Nipsey Hussle, but I’d heard some of his music through my daughters, and after his passing, I had the chance to learn more about his transformation and his community work.

While most folks look at the Crenshaw neighborhood where he grew up and see only gangs, bullets and despair, Nipsey saw potential. He saw hope. He saw a community that, even through its flaws, taught him to always keep going. His choice to invest in that community rather than ignore it — to build a skills-training center and a coworking space in Crenshaw; to lift up the Eritrean-American community; to set an example for young people to follow — is a legacy worthy of celebration. I hope his memory inspires more work in Crenshaw and communities like it.

Michelle and I send our sympathies to Lauren, Emani, Kross and the entire Asghedom family and to all those who loved Nipsey.

Sincerely,
Barack Obama

Hmmm.. and how did Obama completely avoid using the name of Eric Holder in his eulogy?

---
Julian Assange.. how can the left blame Trump for Julian Assange? Trump wasn't elected when all this went down.. Hmmm.. I guess, Assange arrest.. and imminent extradition... just reminds Democrats again that Hellary didn't lose because of "Russian influence", but because of Hellary being Hellary..

From the "MSM-13 can't... just doesn't want.. to get things right" department - Online story: " China's exports rebounded from a contraction in March and sales to the United States grew strongly despite President Donald Trump's tariff hikes." -- "despite President Donald Trump's tariff hikes? Good grief.. and most tariff's haven't been actually been implemented, and the ones that have are a boon to America. China just NEEDS America's markets.

---
From the "Chester A. Riley, "What a What a revoltin' development this is!" department - Online headline: ""I Was Built for the Battle": Chris Cuomo Is Fighting for His Life on CNN" -- Hmmm.. What an awful position Chris Cuomo has found himself in..fighting for existence on a dead end network.

Online story: "City officials are looking into the idea of having drivers who live outside Atlanta pay up when they drive into Buckhead and Midtown. * Councilman J.P. Matzigheit says traffic has gotten so bad in Buckhead from drivers outside the city, that he has commissioned a study to look at possibly creating what is essentially a congestion tax. * “Over 90 percent, in fact, of the people that work in Buckhead, don’t live in Buckhead, so they have to commute in every single day,” Matzigheit said." - You know.. lack of parking and congestion are a COUNCIL created problem.. It started when Council abrogated their responsibilities by not requiring businesses and high-rise residential buildings having MORE than adequate .. and accessible.. parking for either their employees and customers, or residents and their guests before approving any construction plans.

---
Did I see right....that the Psalmond Road Swimming Complex would be closed AGAIN this summer as well? Seriously, does Council really believe kids and families would equate a day during the summer at an indoor pool versus playing in an outdoor fun pool?

---
Eric Smalwell...another California Democrat socialist presidential candidate with the distinction of making Algore seem warm and fuzzy and smart...

From the " let's help re-elect Maxine Waters again and again" department - Online headline/story: "Maxine Waters Grills Big Bank CEOs About Student Loans — Which Were Nationalized in 2010 * During a hearing examining the practices of some of the nation's biggest banks, Waters complained to a panel of seven bank CEOs that there are more than 44 million Americans that owe … $1.56 trillion in student loan debt." * She added, “Last year, one million student loan borrowers defaulted, which is on top of the one million borrowers who defaulted the year before.” * She then demanded to know what they intended to do about this massive problem. “What are you guys doing to help us with this student loan debt?" she asked. "Who would like to answer first? Mr. Monahan, big bank.” * Bank of America chairman and CEO Brian Monahan replied, “We stopped making student loans in 2007 or so.” * James Dimon, JPMorgan Chase chairman and CEO, finally spilled the beans: “When the government took over student lending in 2010 or so, we stopped doing all student lending,” he said. * Waters then quickly changed the subject to small businesses. -- Good grief.. Maxine Waters is about to create a new level for Superlatives.. she's obviously bypassed "Most ignorant" and achieved "Total or Ultimate ignorance"

---
Online headline: "From 'no crisis' to 'breaking point': Mainstream media outlets change their tune on border crisis amid illegal immigration surge" -- Hmmm..combined with the collapses of Venezuela and Cuba as examples of successful Socialism, looks like MSM-13 is finally more worried about its image than helping the Democrats wanting to establish themselves as Despots.

---
From the "solidifying the Tom-LYING-son legacy" department - WTVM story: "According to the website, yourlocalsecurity.com, Columbus ranked No. 5 in Georgia and Phenix City ranked No. 4 in Alabama for most armed robberies." -- Good grief.. after knowing that Columbus' violent crime rate (https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/ga/columbus/crime) is 50+% higher than the overall state of GA's violent crime rate, I'm most surprised that GA has 4 cities higher in such than Columbus!

---
While I haven't had time to thoroughly research the timeline on the widening of Warm Springs Road, I do know it was being discussed in 1990.. perhaps even earlier. In 1990, the GA DOT was hell-bent on RAPING the Lakebottom area of Columbus by making a 5 lane "parallel" emergency route to relieve congestion on Wynnton Road, as a mayoral candidate, I opposed such, and brought up a better such emergency route.. widening Warm Springs Road and building another bridge across the Chattahoochee between the then existing 14th Street Bridge and the North Bypass one. The 13th Street "raping" was eventually nixed by Council, but the state did build the much need 13th Street Bridge, and plans were focused on widening Warm Springs Road (but without an additional bridge crossing). Some oldtimers have remembered talk of expanding Warm Springs Road going back into the late 1970s, but regardless, this is where we are in 2019 and it's still a long way from completion.

Online story: "The Boston Globe posted an Op-Ed by a one-time waiter expressing regret he didn't urinate on the dinner of a conservative pundit and hoping outgoing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen be kept unemployed and face confrontation in public over what he deemed "ethnic cleansing." -- Whatta digression ..but just highlights..well, underscores the lack of civility among the liberals.

---
M/C L-E headline: "DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY * PREPARING FOR SUPER TUESDAY * Democrats are working out strategies to claim sweep in 2020" -- Hmm.. and the best "sweep" for America would be to "sweep out" the old Democrat guard and the new freshmen additions...

---
From the "it finally appears in the M/C L-E" department - M/C L-E headline: "Applications for jobless aid fall to lowest in 50 years" -- I haven't figured out why it's now finally appearing but I guess even McClatchy is looking for ways to disassociate it's connection with the Democrats now that Mueller's Report has burst the Democrats' hot air balloon. The most interesting aspect (after digesting 50 years ago was 1969) is that with the addition of Eric Smalwell to the line-up of Democrat-Socialists running for president, 8 of of those weren't even born when the economy was so fully employed!

---
M/C L-E story: "Rain and thunderstorms expected this weekend may have shortened a much-anticipated kayak competition, bur organizers say it won’t ruin their water parade. * The third annual Paddle South Kayak Competition and Festival is still expected to draw up to 5,000 visitors and, combined with three other downtown events, could bring more than $880,000 in revenue, according to Visit Columbus Ga. based on a formula including expected attendance and hotel room stays. * with a 90 percent chance of rain in Sunday’s National Weather Service forecast, organizers canceled the second day." -- Good grief.. with competition now only a one-day affair, all those "expected" room revenues and restaurant revenues will disappear as well. What I want to know is whether the City will receive any revenues from the actual competition since sales taxes aren't collected on river commerce, and competition fees are surely not in the agreed-to-contract the City has for whitewater rafting services on its day-to-day business plan.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Judge postpones execution of Alabama man who killed pastor with sword, dagger * (U.S. District Judge Kristi K. DuBose) A federal judge on Thursday postponed the scheduled execution of an Alabama man convicted of using a sword and dagger to fatally stab a pastor in 1991 as he prepared Christmas gifts for his grandchildren. * Price’s attorneys argued that Alabama’s lethal injection drug combination has led to “botched” executions and asked that Price instead be put to death by nitrogen hypoxia, a method the state has authorized but not used." -- Good grief! Hey Hellary.. now we NEED your commentary, "What difference does it make!" Personally, I think Alabama should have counter proposed bring in an ISIS terrorist and behead the @sshole with the same sword he used to kill his victim!
