Maybe Trump should describe his plans for the wall based on he's now for "Climb-it Change " . PeLOUSY would have all Democrats supporting in by supper time.

What is it with CNN....after 2+ years of unwarranted public flogging, MSM-13 is horrified that Trump is effervescent about the Mueller Report. Trump took more low blows than Rocky did in the ring so he deserves his moment of exoneration!

From the "what are the chances?" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: "LAPD identifies Eric Holder as suspect in deadly Nipsey Hussle shooting" -- Eric Holder? Like the same name as our former gun-running US Attorney General? Their eyes look close enough for a DNA test .

From the "it depends" department - Online story: "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Monday expressed shock over the price of a croissant at a New York City airport and used it to make a point about raising the minimum wage. * “Croissants at LaGuardia are going for SEVEN DOLLARS A PIECE,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, adding a “Scream” emoji. “Yet some people think getting a whole hour of personal, dedicated human labor for $15 is too expensive?” _- Good grief.. Good grief! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's anger about the cost of living in New York City would be better served by going after Mayor de Bl@sio...de Bl@sio just got a new tax to go into effect in 2020 to charge cars an $11.52 per day tax to drive into New York City. The $7.00 charge at the airport is probably just another de Bl@sio "tax" to catch all the New Yorkers who are fleeing NYC to live anywhere else.

I was looking at a series of LA/Hollywood and San Francisco celebrities' mansions... and thought to my self.. these overly pious advocates for humanity issues probably have enough unused bedrooms in their collective mansions to eliminate all the homeless people from the streets of their cities. Hey, Michael Moore.. make a movie about this!

Biden is finally getting his due...well, since he Mueller Report didn't fare well for them, I guess the Democrats/MSM-13 needed a fall guy to sacrifice so Gov Northam, Jussie Smollett, and Gov Hickenlooper don't have to explain their various perversions.

---
Though meant as an April Fools Day joke, Tim Chitwood's column did touch too close to reality to totally ignore it...so if the Government Center runs short of helmets, perhaps people can be given orange barrels to protect themselves....there's certainly no shortage of them here in Columbus.

From the "new math certainly is a liars best friend" department - Online headline/story: "Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh takes indefinite leave of absence amid book controversy * In a letter released earlier Monday, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican, called on the state prosecutor to investigate allegations of self-dealing by Pugh. State Comptroller Peter Franchot, a Democrat, urged the mayor to step down immediately. * Hogan and Franchot's calls came hours after health care firm Kaiser Permanente disclosed to The Baltimore Sun that between 2015 and 2018, it paid $114,000 for roughly 20,000 copies of Pugh's self-published "Healthy Holly" children's book series. * Since 2011, Pugh has received $500,000 for selling the books to the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), The Associated Press reported. The $4 billion hospital network, one of the largest private employers in the state, reportedly paid Pugh for 100,000 copies of her books between 2011 and 2018. * Additionally, The Sun reported that CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, another city health provider, effectively bought Pugh's roughly 20-page illustrated books for $14,500 in 2011 and 2014. In an email, CareFirst said it made contributions to Associated Black Charities, a nonprofit that manages the city's Children and Youth Fund, to fund its purchase and distribution of books. * The firm Pugh identified as her books' printer said it produced only 60,000 copies and did not have any more orders from Pugh." -- Let me get this right.. 60,000 books were printed.. and one medical company bought 20,000 copies, another bought 100,000 copies, and another about $14,000.00 worth of them (number undisclosed).. So far, that sounds like 120,000 copies (plus the $14,000.00 worth) yet only 60,000 were initially printed. Sounds like a scam and political bribery.

Bernie says that if he is elected, he will cut prescription drug prices in half. Hmmm...I know of but one way he can do that, and that would be to Nationalize..like Cuba..private businesses, which, for all intents and purposes, would mean that there wouldn't be profits to tax for operating revenue..

From the "this probably explains Shicago's State Attorney's disdain for the Police in Shicago" department - Online headline/story: "Conference featuring 2020 Dems begins with fiery chant quoting fugitive cop-killer Assata Shakur * Conference featuring 2020 Dems begins with fiery chant quoting fugitive cop-killer Assata Shakur * Shakur was convicted of the 1973 murder of a New Jersey state trooper when she was in the Black Liberation Army. After escaping from prison in 1979, Shakur fled to Cuba, which granted her asylum even as she remains on the FBI's list of most-wanted fugitive terrorists. * Watkins said. "But I want you to do something with me. I'm gonna actually have you participate with me in repeating some words from a leader by the name of Assata Shakur. So if you could stand up -- if you can't stand, it's okay -- but I want you to repeat after me." * Watkins then quoted Shakur, pausing to let attendees repeat after him: “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.” * Shakur's words, in turn, were appropriated from the final sentences of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels' Communist Manifesto: "The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Proletarians of All Countries, Unite!" * Among the groups in attendance were the Sierra Club, MoveOn.org, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, SEIU and Communications Workers of America." -- You know, when you go to a baseball game, you will be told you can't tell the players apart unless you get a scorecard. Well, this list of attendees IS the political scorecard you need to print out.. and compare to every politician's donor list!

Let's parse the definition of "affectionate style"...this is the phrase being bandied around to excuse the hands on antics of Creepy Uncle Joe Biden... how is this any different than the "affectionate style" of Bill Clinton...or..Teddy Kennedy, or Gary Hart, or Ted Bundy even..I'm listening.

From the "absolute absurdity" department - Online story: "The Supreme Court on Monday ruled in a 5-4 decision against a death row inmate in Missouri who claimed that his execution by lethal injection would cause him "severe harm and suffering" because he suffers from a rare disease. * lawyers for Bucklew argued that in his particular case, the disease, called cavernous hemangioma, is progressive and causes an "unstable blood-filled tumor to grow in his head, neck and throat," and they concluded that if he were to undergo lethal injection he could suffer from prolonged suffocation." -- My first question is "How did this ever get into the US Supreme Court's docket! It's not like the lethal injection is suppose to give him new life!Oh,, and my second question is, "Why doesn't the lawyer just shoot his client so his death sentence won't cause him any more suffering?

Wow...just thought about this...I actually enjoyed watching the NCAA basketball games this weekend...and it wasn't just the results...I just realized that I enjoyed them because. I didn't have to listen to Dick Vitale.

From the "this should be painted above the entrance door of every Planned Parenthood facility, and printed in every Democrat's political ad" department - Online headline: "Democrat Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg: “You’re Not Free” if You Can’t Kill Your Baby in Abortion" -- And Pete Butt-gig's mother should be asked why her son feels this way but she wasn't...

---
I've enjoyed not seeing Geraldo on Fox News recently. Today, he confirmed why I feel this way. He criticized Trump for stopping foreign aid to Central American countries because the money is needed to improve the conditions for the citizens there. DOH! That's exactly why Trump is right to stop those funds.. they don't get to the people's needs as it is.

---
From the "good luck with that" department - Online fairy tale: "Beto O’Rourke pledged Monday to sign an executive order requiring his Cabinet secretaries to hold monthly public town halls if he’s elected president." -- you know, to begin with, even IF Beto O'Jerk COULD get elected, no worthwhile choices for a Cabinet position would subject themselves to the indignity of a monthly public flogging. Of course, I'm dying to know who.. or what.. he would appoint to be Secretary of Agriculture.. who..or whatever would probably scare cattle ranchers to death!

While it's hard not to question the addition of a Chief-of-Staff to the Columbus, GA Mayor's office since the Columbus has a City Manager and two Deputy City Managers, little is known about the C-o-S's salary.. His name has not been added to the publicly accessible salary database..

---
Online headline: "Is race at play in Atlanta airport takeover bid?" -- Well, if not, it will be before this ends.. In politics, if there isn't a legitimate defense, you can count on those under pressure to toss out the race card whenever possible.

Online story: "Computer science courses will be required in every Georgia high school, if new legislation is signed into law. * Senate Bill 108 requires a course in at least one high school in every school district by the fall of 2022 and in half the high schools per district the next year. The course would have to be available in every public high school by the 2024-25 school year. * Less than half a percent of high school graduates have taken computer science, his bill says, yet there are “thousands” of unfilled jobs. And the logic learned in computer science can be generally applied." -- Good grief.. when I ran for Mayor of Columbus in 1990.. that's almost 30 years ago now, I made the statement that all our high schools should be required.. mandated... to teach computer spread sheet math and a computer English writing courses to all Juniors and Seniors so that they would be prepared to either go to college or enter the work field with the needed skills. Where did these 30 year go that it's now finally being addressed?

Online headline: "Abrams calls Georgia's abortion bill 'evil,' says it could influence her political future" -- Good grief.. if Stacey Abrams' momma is still living, I hope Stacey goes to see her and thank her for NOT having an abortion. It's likely to be the ONLY "thanks" she will get.

---
M/C L-E headline: "US officers to be reassigned to deal with crush at border" -- I can hear Fred Sanford now, "Elizabeth.. it's the BIG one.. I'm coming to see you!" The M/C L-E actually described the happenings at the US/Mexican border like it is a crisis.. yet would not go so far as to actually call it one...

Well, after 27 years of construction, the RiverWalk is officially completed... let's see.. this means that in just 20 more years, the RiverWalk will be 47 years old.. the same as our Government Center is now.. Guess we can expect the City to say we need to replace it then.

From the "meanwhile, buried on page 6A" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Manufacturing activity increased in March * U.S. manufacturers grew at a faster pace in March, as the pace of employment jumped and new orders and production improved. * The Institute for Supply Management, an association of purchasing managers, said Monday that its manufacturing index rose to 55.3 last month, up from 54.2 in February. Readings above 50 point toward an expansion in manufacturing. * ISM’s survey of companies for the index is a sign that economic growth should continue, despite concern about the global economy." -- Even with the exoneration by the Mueller Report, the M/C L-E is not going to show good news about the Trump economy where the casual reader will ever see it.
