Roundabout round up: Couldn't resist...took a drive down River Road yesterday morning about 9:15 AM to see how the temporary lanes handled the transition and traffic..Guess the contractor saw what I posted picture-wise about the road bed material already collapsing over the weekend, and decided it best not to allow traffic on it yet..Maybe later Monday, maybe Tuesday... anybody interested in a pool? Will update you as things change.

 

Went by about 2:20, and traffic was moving on the east-side lanes. Will be interesting how traffic handles it tonight in the dark.. . Of course , a whole day of working on the west-side lanes was lost.

 

One last trip of the day.. went out last evening for an errand so tried the now opened east-side lanes and took a left on Bradley Park then returned that way later. I see that those concrete lane barriers have been placed near the edges of the River Road lane and wonder when the first big truck will send one toppling as it negotiates the much narrowed lane.

It's as refreshing as it is surprising to hear former DNC Chair, now "Fox contributor" Donna Brazile chastising the DemocRAT candidates for trying to pin the fault of the El Paso and Dayton shootings on President Trump. Of course when Juan Williams was just a "contributor" who got fired by NOR when he spoke honestly..but after Fox News actually hired him full time, Juan Williams morphed into a flaming liberal..I'm suspect this will happen with Brazile should Fox hire her full time.
