From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Biden lashes out at reporter who suggested he misquoted Trump on Charlottesville * “He did not,” Biden said. “Let’s get this straight. He said there were very fine people in both groups. They were chanting anti-Semitic slogans, carrying flags.” -- Hmmm so Biden-been-Botoxed feels that EVERYONE with a different opinion than him is a "deplorable", too. On the other hand, has Biden-been-Botoxed ever blanket-condemned groups that support him even though a few members of those groups yelled for the death of law enforcement officers and military personnel?

Wow! Twitter has suspended a Sen. Mitch McConnell account based on him posting a video of a violent protest group outside his home.. Mind you, the protest was not one initiated nor supported by McConnell, it was a left wing protest AGAINST McConnell... in front of his home in Kentucky! Censorship such as this is what socialist/fascist groups do.

From the "as if it really mattered" department - Online headline: "Taylor Swift explains why she didn't publicly endorse Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election" -- Hmmm what it boiled down to was that Swift didn't want to sully her own name and future by dropping Hellary's name... that's "What Happened".

From the "Collusion?" department - Amazing.. within days., Peter Strzok and Andrew McCabe are suing the government because they got fired from their government jobs.. never-mind both served at the discretion of the president.. regardless of who is the president, and never-mind that both made conscious efforts to undermine Trump's presidency .. before and after the election.. these two illuminate a very bad concept in government service... they feel they were OWED these jobs.. . Sadly, they enter the judicial processes where the judges have lifetime political appointments given by possibly.. no... PROBABLY.. the same politician that Strzok and McCabe worked for. The process needs review.. the best one is that all top agency personnel must submit a resignation dated the date of every Presidential election, and it must to be signed off on by the next sitting president .. to accept or reject it.

You know.. this sorta brings up "tenure" at our colleges... "tenure" was suppose to give free thought continuity and protection.. now "tenure" protects only the teachings of socialism/fascism at these institutions...

What's wrong with this picture? M/C L-E story: "Renovations: HCSD spent about $500,000 on painting, paving, carpeting and air conditioning and $200,000 on roofs. " -- Hmmm.. wow.. what a list of improvements and maintenance for $700,000.00.. Compare that to what $700,000.00 got in the MCSD.. about 93% of a single 2,400 sq ft wresting building.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Columbus on track to host USA Softball again — this time on way to Tokyo Olympics * The complete financial numbers aren’t available yet, but it’s already clear Columbus impressed the right people as host of last month’s USA Softball International Cup. As a result, the city is on track to have the women’s national team return here next year on the way to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo." -- "complete financial numbers aren’t available yet"? Hmm... well, how about the costs of reconstruction plus the local costs to run the event... those should be available... or how about the figures from 1996 when the Olympic Softball was played here..surely those available though I don't remember them ever being published. At this point, I'd love just to see the daily "gate" receipts from this summer's event...surely those were recorded daily.. Anyway, Council does not need to commit until all these figures can be digested ..OH! and a new plan for a design to be in the grandstands beg-hind home plate.. the one this summer had the first 2.. sometimes 3.. letters of Columbus blacked out by the pitcher's "pitch clock" so most of the TV audience (and I'm sure those numbers are available NOW) saw that the game was in Lumbus or Umbus, GA... wherever that is..

Thomasville (GA) Times-Enterprise headline.story: "Tomlinson says track record shows she can deliver * THOMASVILLE — If you ask Teresa Tomlinson, what the U.S. Senate really needs is a mayor. * "Mayors are required to make government run," said Tomlinson, the former two-term mayor of Columbus who's now running for the Senate as a Democrat." -- Huh? Is there a second Teresa Tomlinson we don't know about running against the ex-Mayor Teresa Tom-LYING-son we know very well?. Obviously the Thomasville newspaper didn't bother to check Queen TT the PP's record.

M/C L-E headline: "After deadly wrecks, Atlanta bans electric scooters at night" -- R-i-i-g-g-g-h-h-h-h-t-t-t-t-t!.. That'll stop issues....NOT.. and after this proves it isn't working, maybe the Atlanta folks can pass a law requiring "background checks" to use them...

M/C L-E headline/story: "McClatchy reports 2Q earnings loss — SACRAMENTO BEE * The McClatchy Co. reported Thursday a second-quarter net loss of $17.5 million and declining revenues. * The losses shrank for the Sacramento, California-based media company compared with the previous quarter for the third time. The company, which publishes this (M/C Ledger-Enquirer) newspaper and 29 others, said digital-only subscriptions grew by nearly 52 percent over the last year." -- "digital-only subscriptions grew by nearly 52 percent over the last year."? You know.. when a business is FLOUNDERING, it focuses only on the few good things happening.. yet while it's important to maximize the few "good things", a 52% increase based of a low number last year is not such a good celebration when the ship is sinking..

M/C L-E headline: "‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ hopes for a breakthrough" -- Excuse me, but what audience is this movie aimed at? There's a 25 year old woman playing the part of a teenaged version of the 9 or 10 year old version depicted in the TV series aimed at pre and early elementary school aged girls.
