Columbus L-E headline: "Families of Alabama inmates describe violent conditions" -- I have a hard time invoking sympathy here.. I sympathize more with the families of THE VICTIMS of the felons convicted for violent.. sometimes heinous.. crimes. I'm tired, also, of violent criminals not receiving death sentences, and death sentences ordered not being carried out for 20-30 years. I'm tired hearing about prisoners complaining about their prison environment when it was totally unavoidable to begin with.
