From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Trump not ready to commit to election results if he loses" -- Good grief.. Trump is the LAST person to ask about "accepting " the choice of the American voters.. The ones to ask are Socialist-Democrats! Tell me the date that Hellary, Stacey Abrams, accepted their losses? Tell me the date that Pelosi, Schumer, Schi**, Lord Farquaad Nadler, AOC, Ilhan Omar .. Obama or JoKKKe Biden accepted Trump as America's choice..Oh! And the WORST group to not accept the 2016 results.. that's right.. Mainstream Media itself!

Weekly Update: Death by abortions worldwide has reached the 23,443,000 level this year, up from 22,639,000 last Monday.. Hmmm that's over 800,000 in one week. Worldwide Covid-19 "associated" deaths for 2020 this morning are 609,279..up from 572,271 last Monday.. that's an additional 37,008 since last week Let's put a little perspective on it.. there were more babies killed ... intentionally.... LAST WEEK alone than people who have died with Covid-19 during the entirety of 2020!

I read that some of the most brilliant "scientists" want to learn all they can from.. and about apes.. Hmmm... what's "brilliant" about some of the world's most brilliant people dumbing themselves down?

Re[eat item from July 13, 2020 Breakfast Club blog:
From the "hmmm... and what's the difference" department - Online headline: "Biden says some funding should 'absolutely' be redirected from police" -- JoKKKe Biden says he's NOT for "defunding" the police... but he is for "redirecting" funds from the police". What's the difference!

---
From the "Hey Chris Wallace.. when you were "researching", why didn't you look at the Fox files?" department - Chris Wallace is a liar.. technically, Wallace can infer JoKKKe Biden did not specifically say "Defund Police", but Biden did say he was FOR "REDIRECTING" Police funding.. Wallace .. and Biden.. wee having a Clinton "IS" moment.
Here is the 'link" to a Fox news story of July 8th:

From the "Looks like Kanye West just got victimized...as no longer Black enough" department - Online headline: "Audience at Kanye West's campaign rally walk out over 'disrespectful' Harriet Tubman remarks" -- You know... I will "fact check" West's statements as it's something I haven't heard before, but I cannot see West saying it unless it is documented.. History today is taught in a "gloss over facts that don't fit the Socialist agenda manner" so I'm sure West's statements were not what his audience was taught...

From the "DEFINITELY Not Ready For Prime Time" department - Online headline/story: "Wrong absentee ballots mailed to over 700 Georgia voters * More than 700 Georgia voters incorrectly received nonpartisan absentee ballots instead of Democratic or Republican ballots for the state’s upcoming primary runoff election, the secretary of state’s office said Friday. Those voters are being mailed replacement ballots, along with a letter asking them to destroy their old ballots." -- Hmmm.. Election officials are asking people to "destroy" their wrong "mail-in" ballots? Yeah ... right.. This is why mailing out/in ballots for all cannot be justified...there's no accountability for the wrong ballots being destroyed, and there's more likelihood such ballots will be "harvested" and returned from different voters on a Party's registration list who did not vote the first time around..

Online headline/story: "After Reparations Study Suggests $151 Million for Each African American, Experts Say Money Alone Isn't Enough" -- The truth is that when you GIVE STUFF, no one actually appreciates or does GOOD much with it.. it would be worse than "The Lottery! But as far as reparations go.... in my opinion, any reparations for damages paid should be paid by the origins of the damages. Of course, that will take us back to a subject liberals don't want to touch... it all started in Africa.. by Africans in collusion with slave traders and marketers of the time .. Let those who feel "owed", pursue the original causes and ancestors in Africa, England, America and elsewhere, but it's not something owed by 21st Century American taxpayers.

From the "Socialism runs amok!" department - Online headline/story: "Kentucky couple fit with ankle monitors, placed on house arrest, for refusing to sign quarantine documents * Elizabeth Linscott said she got tested for COVID-19 as a precaution because she was planning to visit her parents in Michigan. She received a positive test result but showed no symptoms. * She said the Hardin County Health Department asked her to sign documents agreeing to call them any time she left her house. The young mother claims she never refused to self-quarantine but said she would not sign the documents because of how they were worded * After opting not to sign the health department papers, Linscott said she received a text message informing her that the situation would be escalated and law enforcement would be involved * Her husband, Isaiah, said he was greeted by officers at their front door later that week. * "I open up the door, and there's like eight different people, five different cars, and I'm like 'what the heck's going on?' This guy's in a suit with a mask. It's the health department guy, and they have three papers for us. For me, her and my daughter," -- This IS Socialism.. It's no different than what China, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Russia and Iran are today... or what Germany was under Hitler..

From the "telling it like it is/was" department - Online headline/story: "'My Nigerian great-grandfather sold slaves' * Nigerian journalist and novelist Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani writes that one of her ancestors sold slaves, but argues that he should not be judged by today's standards or values. * People from ethnic groups along the coast, such as the Efik and Ijaw, usually acted as stevedores for the white merchants and as middlemen for Igbo traders like my great-grandfather. * It would be unfair to judge a 19th Century man by 21st Century principles * Buying and selling of human beings among the Igbo had been going on long before the Europeans arrived. People became slaves as punishment for crime, payment for debts, or prisoners of war. * Igbo slaves served as domestic servants and labourers. They were sometimes also sacrificed in religious ceremonies and buried alive with their masters to attend to them in the next world.

Slavery was so ingrained in the culture that a number of popular Igbo proverbs make reference to it:

Anyone who has no slave is his own slave

A slave who looks on while a fellow slave is tied up and thrown into the grave with his master should realise that the same thing could be done to him someday

It is when the son is being given advice that the slave learns

The arrival of European merchants offering guns, mirrors, gin, and other exotic goods in exchange for humans massively increased demand, leading people to kidnap others and sell them.

European buyers tended to remain on the coast

African sellers brought slaves from the interior on foot

Journeys could be as long as 485km (300 miles)

Two captives were typically chained together at the ankle

Columns of captives were tied together by ropes around their necks
10%-15% of captives died on the way

The trade in African people continued until 1888, when Brazil became the last country in the Western hemisphere to abolish it.

When the British extended their rule to south-eastern Nigeria in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, they began to enforce abolition through military action. * many local people such as my great-grandfather may not have understood that abolition was about the dignity of humankind and not a mere change in economic policy that affected demand and supply. * "We think this trade must go on," one local king in Bonny infamously said in the 19th Century. * Adaobi's father, Chukwuma Hope Nwaubani, lives on land that was owned by Nwaubani Ogogo" --Hmmm ... reparations? Now,The writer of this story about his great-grandfather, and the writer's father are definitely two that should pay towards reparations... they are still benefiting from their great-grandfather and other ancestors slave trading days.

On the other hand, my great-grandfather was beloved by Columbus 's Black community.

Online headline: "Joe Biden said Friday night that he's begun receiving intelligence briefings as he warned that Russia, China and other adversaries were attempting to undermine the upcoming U.S. election in November." * The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee wasn't specific and offered no evidence while addressing a virtual fundraiser with more than 200 attendees. * "“We know from before, and I guarantee you I know now because now I get briefings again." -- JoKKKe Biden... "receiving intelligence briefings"... "about election interference"?What -- "We know from before"? Did Queen Pelosi read the Steele Dossier to him..or has he been listening to A Dam SChi**.. JoKKKe Biden... the man with the Max Headroom persona.. might need an aluminum foil skull cap..

Oh! Those "intel briefings" he receive.. "boxers or Jockeys"?

---
Was watching a video message by JoKKKe Biden talking from his home "Panic Room". It's pretty hard to connect with someone who talks into a camera when his eyes are constantly focused to a TelePrompter the side on.

Thought you'd like to see this! From an online story: "A 2014 systematic review of cohort studies concluded that moderate coffee consumption (3-5 cups a day) results in a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular diseases. * the British Heart Foundation analyzed over 8,000 participants and proposed that even 25 cups of coffee a day won’t stiffen arteries, as previously presumed. Coffee shrinks inflammation and stabilizes insulin production, which can decrease the likelihood of diabetes. These benefits can even lengthen life, according to researchers at the University of Southampton in 2018.
On the other hands.. I doubt those Starbucks caramel macchiatos are considered "coffee" by the test standards.

Stumbled across a modern movie favorite of mine last night..."Uncle Drew"... even if you're not a basketball fan .. "Uncle Drew" will make you one...lots fun..and a heart tugger.

One of the "points of contention" we hear bandied around quite liberally is "white privilege" It's a real racist slur in that users cannot justify it, but label anyone who's white with it.. what's the real issue "liberal privilege with the truth, history, and reality".

Online headline/story: "Black Professor Says It’s Welfare, Not Slavery, That Decimated US Black Families * “The undeniable truth is that neither slavery nor Jim Crow nor the harshest racism has decimated the black family the way the welfare state has,” said George Mason professor Walter Williams * The number one problem is the weak family structure: * In 1960, just 22 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families. * Fifty years later, more than 70 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families. * According to the 1938 Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences, that year 11 percent of black children were born to unwed mothers. Today about 75 percent of black children are born to unwed mothers. That can’t be a legacy of slavery, it can’t be some delayed reaction. * As Professor Williams said, the bottom line is that the black family was stronger the first 100 years after slavery than during what will be the second 100 years. * The most damage done to black Americans is inflicted by those politicians, civil rights leaders and academics who assert that every problem confronting blacks is a result of a legacy of slavery and discrimination. That's a vision that guarantees perpetuity for the problems." -- Here's the "link" to his complete article:

Seriously... today's issue should not be about "Black Lives Matter" but about "Black Life Matters"

Online headline/story: "NYC suspect in cane attack on NYPD cops celebrates after making bail * Chanice Reyes was freed after arraignment on multiple counts of second-degree assault and related charges * The woman charged with using a cane to bash two NYPD cops over their heads on the Brooklyn Bridge whooped and jumped for joy when she was released from custody Friday afternoon. * During the hearing, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge John Howard-Algarin her bail at $7,500 cash or credit card, $40,000 insurance company bond or $60,000 surety bond." -- Good grief! I don' know what shocked me most.. finding out that the assaulter was a woman, or that the judge set such a low bond rate for unprovoked assault on police officers..

From the "Hey, MCSB.. maybe this will help" department - Online headline/story/link: "Dr. Janette Nesheiwat: The benefits of having children in classrooms far outweigh the risk of COVID-19 * The benefits of having children in classrooms "far outweigh" the risk of coronavirus, Fox News Medical contributor Dr. Janette Nesheiwat asserted Saturday. * "Opening schools will benefit families beyond providing education, including by supplying child care, school services, [and] meals…Without in-person instruction, schools risk children falling behind academically and exacerbating educational inequities," they wrote in a release on Wednesday. * "This is a well-respected organization. And, I agree," she said. "The benefits of having children in the classroom far outweigh the risk of coronavirus." ....

Online headline: "California woman’s killer gets life sentence in BART rail station stabbing attack" -- Good grief.. typical CA-razy insanity. The convicted heinous criminal gets "life", while the "just being at the wrong place at the wrong time victim" got "death".

From the "irony of suspicions confirmed" department -- The McClatchy/Columbus Ledger-Enquirer is now owned by the same group that shed it's ownership of the National Enquirer for being too conservative.

Pathetic.. sad.. online story: "Former Parkland student Kyle Kashuv slammed the South Florida Sun-Sentinel over its endorsement of Scott Israel, who was previously ousted as the Broward County sheriff over his department's handling of the massacre that took place Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018. * The editorial board of the Florida paper acknowledged on Friday that its endorsement of Israel "will be poorly received among the families shattered" by the mass shooting that left 17 dead, stressing it was "our most difficult endorsement decision" amid the Democratic primary." -- "will be poorly received among the families shattered"? Good grief.. as well I think every law enforcement officer in the country will receive this "poorly"! Unfortunately, this just reveals.. confirms... the entire liberal media's disdain for real and dedicated police officers...

Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer story: "COLUMBUS, OHIO Even if it weren’t for her disability and fear of catching COVID-19, Delinda Bryant said getting the necessary postage to cast a ballot this year will be a struggle. * Bryant, 63, doesn’t have $10 for a book of stamps, a printer to make them at home or a working car. * “My car needs its transmission fixed, but my utilities are so high I can’t afford it,” the south Georgia woman said in testimony for a federal voting rights lawsuit. “Ten dollars for a book of stamps is a hardship.” - Good grief.. publish her address and I'll send her a stamp to cover her postage..but I want to know if she has a cellphone, and does she find the money to pay her bill monthly?

Columbus L-E guest commentary "headlie"/"story": "Court’s liberal rulings don’t extend to voting rights * BY ADAM LIPTAK * NEW YORK TIMES * In April, the majority relied on that principle to say that a federal judge in Wisconsin should not have extended the deadline for some absentee voting in light of the coronavirus pandemic. The vote was 5-4, and it split along the usual lines." -- And an unsigned opinion read: "“Extending the date by which ballots may be cast by voters – not just received by the municipal clerks, but cast by voters – for an additional six days after the scheduled Election Day fundamentally alters the nature of the election,”.... The Constitution calls a National Election date.. no vote cast after such, whether by mail or in person, should be... can be... valid.. period! Can you NOT see how easy fraud would be if ballots could be cast AFTER the election date? A politician seeing a close race could churn out extra ballots from his party's voter lists and change what the people chose who followed the process.

In Columbus, we already see how not holding all elections on the National Day for elections costs us.. not only in extra voting costs, but in voter apathy about local voting during the primary periods or special referendums..

From the "here's a claim that stretches the truth too far" department - Columbus L-E opinion piece headline/content: " BY JOHN A. TURES * CORRESPONDENT * There was a crowd at the historical monument, bashing it with whatever they could get their hands on that could do some damage. A guy had a hammer and chisel, and agreed to loan them to me for a few bucks for a few minutes. I didn’t care that it was a piece of history. I bashed that monument with all the strength a scrawny kid could muster. * But concrete isn’t meant to be beaten easily. So as my time was about to expire, I decided on one last impulsive act. I dropped the tools, and climbed the monument as best I could. My brother took pictures of me, both smashing into that piece of history, and climbing it disrespectfully, the grin on my face unmistakable (and speaking of unmistakable, this punk had a full head of hair too). * I think about that photo, 30 years ago. I showed it to my kids, and my niece and nephew. They didn’t even recognize me. When I handed the photo to my students, they couldn’t believe I was there. *You see, that was me up on the Berlin Wall." -- Wow! I'm jealous! ... but while tearing down the Berlin Wall was a historical moment, I would not call it a Historic Monument...it was, at best, a prison wall...

---
You know, if MSM-13 was interested in the truth .. and news in general, it would be remembering the fall of the Berlin Wall.. Instead, MSM-13 ignores it.. the Berlin Wall was put up by Socialist, and MSM-13 does not want to remind independent or Democrat base voters of what Socialism is really about (or that "Walls Work).. It's also why MSM-13 doesn't show much about Venezuela, Cuba, Iran and numerous other Socialist countries' squalor for the masses.

Rep John Lewis, D-GA 5, rest in well-deserved peace...

Excuse me, but why would Atlanta Mayor "Hit " Bottoms.. again.. make such a raucous statement about Governor Kemp's use of Augusta University updates on Covid-19? Augusta U. is the home of the Medical College of Georgia, The Dental College of Georgia, and the state’s inaugural nursing college.. Augusta U. responded to Bottoms "hit": "Research universities are problem solvers, so when the coronavirus pandemic hit, Augusta University and Augusta University Health System immediately went to work on a solution, a solution for which Georgia’s only public academic medical center was uniquely suited to provide. To date, more than 50,000 Georgians have been serviced through the AU Health ExpressCare app and hotline, and an additional 64,000 people have been tested at AU Health and Georgia National Guard-partnered drive-thru sites. From virtual screening technology and a first-in-state FDA-approved in-house test for COVID-19, to drive-thru specimen collection locations and a state-of-the-art clinical laboratory where those samples could be tested, Augusta University has consistently stepped up to serve the citizens of Georgia." -- Hmm so, why DID the Atlanta mayor hit bottom? Augusta U did not agree with her politically motivated agenda.

Online headline: "Heat wave to roast Northeast as temps forecast to approach 100 F" -- Have you noticed that whenever "climate change issues" are brought up by libs, that they seem only to consider the US? Take Paris, France, for instance.. high temperature beginning Monday through the 31st range from 82 degrees to 73 degrees.

---
Online headline: "Justice Ginsburg says cancer has returned, but won't retire" -- You know.. you really have to question Ginsburg's dedication to the US Constitution.. She has actually stated that she won't retire while President Trump is in office.. because her personal agenda is more important than our Constitution. What a sad life she leads...

---
Online headline/story: "Pentagon bans Confederate flag in way to avoid Trump's wrath * After weeks of wrangling, the Pentagon is banning displays of the Confederate flag on military installations, in a carefully worded policy that doesn't mention the word ban or that specific flag. * Signed by Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Thursday night, the memo lists the types of flags that may be displayed at military installations. " -- What a wise choice has been made.. When you actually prohibit certain behavior, what you really have done is open up another can of worms that, more or less, says. if we don't specifically ban a flag, it's permissible until we address it specifically. Look at our LAWS.. They are all based on the 10 Commandments, but specificity has created a quagmire of inefficiency at being able to use Common Sense as a guide..

Online headline/story: "Bubba Wallace: 'Any narrative' that all NASCAR fans are racist is 'totally not true' * "We always want to pay attention to the negative, but the narrative that's been out there now is saying all NASCAR fans are racist, and whatnot, and that's totally not true,” Wallace told the hosts." -- Whoa!.. Bubba Wallace has just signed his own death warrant by having his own opinion that differs with "Black Lives Matter" (and some local Columbus, GA activists) agenda.

---
Online headline: "Biden campaign staffer mocked cops as worse than 'pigs,' called for defunding police * Sara Pearl has since deleted some of the social media posts" -- And the LOUDEST slur has been from the DNC, the JoKKKe Biden campaign, and the "Holey Trinity.. Obama/Pelosi/Schumer" - for their outrageous silence!

---
Online story: "The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) pushed back Friday against a claim being amplified by liberal politicians and activists that federal agents who deployed to Portland to disperse protesters this week aren’t identifying themselves. * In a statement, DHS insisted that agents are identifying themselves as Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents. But they admitted agents are not wearing name tags -- citing recent doxing incidents against law enforcement * "The CBP agents identified themselves and were wearing CBP insignia during the encounter," the DHS said in a statement. "The names of the agents were not displayed due to recent doxing incidents against law enforcement personnel who serve and protect our country." -- You know.. since the LEFT labels ALL law enforcement people who serve in uniform.. regardless of race....as racists, then there is no NEED to identify them specifically. It's all about respecting the laws of the US in a civil manner.

While I do give her points for talking with Bill Hemmer on Fox yesterday, former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, basically filleted herself on National TV Friday. Even with video of her statements in 2015 running and leaving nothing to misinterpret, the ex-mayor's tried to dismiss her message of abandonment of the laws of the US and Baltimore to protect all the law-abiding citizens of Baltimore. * Rawlings-Blake argued Friday that her comments were taken out of context. * "I know you spend a lot of time defending the First Amendment," Rawlings-Blake told Hemmer. "That was all I was saying, is I was working very hard to protect the First Amendment rights of the protesters and they took advantage of that. And if you listen to the entire thing in the context of the interview, you would understand that. And the governor knows that." -- You know, our 1st Amendment does not give permission ..nor protection .. to anyone to disregard another citizens 1st (or any) Amendment rights.. Even if she WANTED to give support to a 1st Amendment protest, she did not have the right to allow them to express it violently or criminally.. and she did not protect her City ..or it's citizens... as she swore an oath to do.

---
From the "former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake school of law" department - Online headline: "Chris Cuomo: ‘Show Me The Law That Says Protesters Can’t Commit Assault’" -- Hey Fredo Cuomo II, the law you seek is the 1st Amendment that protesters are using to violate the 1st Amendment Rights of others..

One thing that does not get mentioned in the conversations about renaming military bases is that it was  the victorious side of the war that earned them the right to make such decisions.. Choices were made to honor the valor and skills of military men who distinguished themselves in history..

As best I can see, it looks like 64 deaths in Muscogee County have been associated with Covid-19.. while we grieve death, that number of 64 pales when you think about how many other deaths have also occurred in Muscogee County in 2020..We have at least 22 deaths accounted for by murder alone..
