Senator Kamala Harris.. apparent Socialist-Democrat VP nominee for 2020... hmmm.. she won the "vetting" marathon... you have to wonder if "hair sniffing" was one of the vetting tests she was subjected..... but how did any of the female choices pass the "donations received" test with 6 of the PARTNERS of the law firm that represented Jeffrey Epstein in the bogus Florida trial? From this story, "Ian Sams, a Harris spokesman, said there wasn’t a problem with accepting the campaign contributions because the firm is big and the partners who hosted the fundraiser didn’t work on Epstein’s plea agreement. * “The people involved in that case have not supported her campaign, and she wouldn’t want that support anyway,” Sams said. * The firm and the six partners named on the event invitation did not respond to requests for comment." -- Are you ready for the explanation.. the EXCUSE? "partners who hosted the fundraiser didn’t work on Epstein’s plea agreement"... Whoa.. Please.. will some legal eagle please explain how "PARTNERS" in a Legal Firm do not know who "The Firm" is donating to" Then, how does a "Legal Firm" have 15 worldwide offices.. including ones in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing as well as San Francisco, Shicago, New York, and Washington, DC and and not be spreading foreign money to other key Socialist-Democrat politicians?.. I doubt seriously that Kirkland and Ellis will pass a DOJ "sniffing into test".
Hey, Columbus! The runoff for District 4's Council was run yesterday.. Toyia Tucker garnered 71% of the vote, while Bishop's Pawn Gillespie got 29%... but what's more egregious is that Gillespie only had 288 votes...so for the $50,000.00 the runoff cost us taxpayers, those 288 votes COST us nearly $175.00 EACH! Hey Council.. we have a Charter Review coming up... how about rectifying the absurdity Gillespie put us through by specifying that a runoff can ONLY be had if the top two finishers are in it. When the second place finisher (as in this situation) Valerie Thompson dropped out, in a gracious community gesture that would save the taxpayers money, no 3rd place also ran should have been able to step in as an opponent in a runoff. Good luck Toyia!... and Thank you Valerie Thompson for stepping up to serve.Hey, Columbus!
When is it going to stop? When will sanity return.. A 1790's gazebo in Louisville, GA is under fire because it once served as a site of slave auctions 200-plus years ago.. Now a movement to remove it is happening.. let's face it.. when it's removed, little Louisville will probably disappear along with it, as it becomes simply a "x" on a map. It will be interesting to see if it's slowly removed by court action, or whether it will go up in flames during the dark of the night .. hey.. Columbus, GA had it's Civil War Naval Museum "pole barn", which was built to shelter relics from the past, go up in flames. Hey... but let's not stop here! Once all America's history is burned down, the arsonists can go to Italy and start going after the Coliseum.. where Christians were fed to Lions, and black and white gladiators fought to the death for Italian gentry 's entertainment... or while in Rome, go after the Vatican where heretics, in the eyes of the Catholic hierarchy, were tortured and executed .. Come on.. his is no more absurd than what's happening here...
With all the "Chicken Little..Sky is falling" rhetoric by the Socialist -Democrats about Social distancing, shutting down businesses, and staying/working at home, I have yet to hear Queen Pelosi demand that the rioters and protesters work from home and burn, steal, and tear up their own stuff.
Larry Elder "nailed it" last night.. when asked about why Kamala Harris was picked, Elder said it was because of JoKKKe Biden's rash of negative Black gaffes, and that if Biden had made a couple of more gaffes, he would have had to have name Maxine Waters to gain penance the Soc-Dem voter base..
From that "6th sense when you suddenly realize that you don't hear your children in the next room" department - Think about this... at this state of the election process..why is the Nation of Islam so silent.. and absent... from the public eye? Who is watching them?
Online headline: "Kasich on decision to speak at Democratic convention: America needs to go in a different direction" -- Well, glad to see Kasich "come out"... but he's right on one thing... America does need to "go in a different direction"... yes.. upward and as far away from the Socialist-Democrats as possible.
Looks like LA Mayor Garcetti has informed his Advisor on the Homeless she will be resigning at the end of the month... Hmmm... guess Garcetti feels she needs more hands-on experience, so he's making her "homeless"...
From the "be careful what you wish for.. it might come true" department - Online headline/story: "Nancy Pelosi sets expectations low for Joe Biden’s running mate pick * Call it the soft bigotry of low expectations. * "I don't think it matters who the vice-presidential candidate is historically. It has never mattered," Pelosi Friday during an appearance on MSNBC" -- Hmmm.. and it looks like it came true... I'm just glad JoKKKe Biden hasn't been paired up with A Dam Schi**.. Hey, don't laugh.. Schi**, in true Soc-Dem fashion, could have pronounced himself as "Black" and "Female" and fulfilled Biden's VP shopping list....
From the "I think it was more of an obligation than a tribute" department - AJC headline/story: "Herman Cain’s funeral: ‘He had an abundant life’ * The life of former Republican presidential candidate, businessman and radio broadcaster Herman Cain was honored Friday during a private funeral service in southwest Atlanta. * Cain got his start as a rocket scientist for the Navy before transitioning into a decades-long career in the business world. He worked for Coca-Cola, Pillsbury and Burger King before ascending to the chairmanship of Godfather’s Pizza and the National Restaurant Association, a Washington, D.C. trade group. * Cain became the most high-profile Black Republican to run for statewide office in Georgia when he placed second in a three-man GOP primary for an open U.S. Senate seat in 2004. * Cain was a syndicated talk show host for WSB and this year began hosting a TV show with the conservative cable network NewsMax. The Morehouse College graduate was also co-chair of Black Voices for Trump." -- Hmmm... well, the Republicans labeled Herman Cain, too... yes he was labeled a "Winner". Georgia boy Herman Cain earned his so called "abundant life".. and should be held up as a prime example ... to every student ... as to how hard work, personal goals, and diligence can work for them as well.
Did you hear UpChuck Schumer tell President Trump he has to meet them halfway... no he doesn't... what Schumer and Pelosi need to do is come up we'd with a reasonable figure for projects America actually needs, and their number will match up with President Trumps...
San Francisco and NYC are implying they won't be able to "bounce back" from the coronavirus without being bailed out by the "Red States" taxpayers.. ..Hmmm.... maybe the Socialist-Dems should have thought about that BEFORE bankrupting themselves. Hmmm wonder if some Hedgefund operator like Bloomberg or Steyer (former Dem presidential candidates) will buy them...
You know, Anyone can call you a victim... but if you feel you are a so-called :victim of society", it's your fault if you accept that permanently...
Online headline: "Carmen Best, Seattle’s top cop, emails resignation notice to officers" -- Hey, Columbus Council.. Seattle's Chief of Police is now available and you are looking for one! Too bad she probably would accept the job though, when she finds out you are trying to make the job "answerable" to a Kangaroo Court with subpoena powers..
Columbus L-E headline: "States on hook for billions under Trump’s unemployment plan" -- Whew! Glad the L-E headline didn't read, "Taxpayers on hook for TRILLIONS under Pelosi’s mass unemployment efforts".
It's sad enough that some cities are contemplating... even voting for... "DeFund The Police".. Of course in Columbus, we have a Mayor/Council who want to "De-man the Police Department".. When was the last year?... decade?... that the CPD was fully manned? Subjecting police officers to a subpoena empowered Kangaroo Court is certainly no incentive to get applicants.. nor keep veteran law enforcement officers from retiring as soon as eligible...
After looking at the street death statistics of Shicago, someone ought to tell Shicago Mayor LightHEAD that Black Communities Matter, too.
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "Online absentee ballot applications are approved for Georgia voters * Voters will be able to request absentee ballots through the website by typing in their name, birth date, and driver’s license or state identification card number, according to the new State Election Board rule. Then ballots will begin to be mailed Sept. 15." -- Hmmm... while an ID card number is required, is current residency at the address associated with that ID required as well? How about proof that the request is actually made from a piece of digital equipment registered to the requester? What about whether the requester is in full control of their faculties? Any political person with a current voter registration list can see who didn't vote in person or by mail in recent elections, and request an absentee ballot for them...
Hmm... Looks like an episode of "Carnac the Magnificent" skit from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson:
I tell you what.. with the BIG 10 and PAC 12 canceling their sports, I can see a ton of transfer requests to SEC schools in the next week... the SEC will be even more powerful this and next season...
