Bullets and deaths were flying over the weekend here in Columbus, GA.. at least two new homicides (though one was an infant and did not involve bullets.. but... more horridly.. it involved a mother... and there's one homicide that hasn't been categorized to a "year".. a person died from complications of a shooting in the Fall of 2020 who succumbed to that shot in Winter of 2021 yet the total for 2020 was not increased to 47, and it doesn't appear it's been counted in the running total of 2021..

Do you think that Council or the City Manager actually did any research before spending $2,000,000.00 tax dollars.. (ours, by the way) on 8 automated recycling trucks.. From what I hear, homeowners have special rules they have to follow ..including put the Blue recycle containers on the street with the wheels against the curb.
