Hey Columbus...you too, Councilors... did we have any luck at recruiting enough law enforcement recruits at the job fair? How about any? Hey Council, keep us informed....

Online headline: "METRA making changes due to bus driver shortage" -- Is there any aspect of basic community services the City Manager can point to that's operating efficiently?

Online headline/story: "California Gov. Newsom launches first major ad blitz in bid to survive recall * "Gov. Gavin Newsom has California roaring back," the announcer in one of the spots emphasizes. "Newsom is delivering money to your pocket. Plus an extra 500 bucks for families with kids – $4 billion straight to small businesses through the nation’s largest grant program – cleaning up our streets and getting 65,000 homeless Californians into housing – and free pre-K for every California child, regardless of income." -- "Newsom is delivering money to your pocket"? Good grief! Not only are his "facts" warped (His Aunt PeLOUSY has been the one "delivering... OTHER PEOPLE's MONEY!) Most of the "getting 65,000 homeless californians into housing" was when he flooded empty hotel/motel rooms with them since the hotel/motel owners couldn't use the rooms for paying customers..... Hey, legal california citizens, ask him to show you any california city's street that's not loaded with temporary tents and human excrement...

Columbus State University needs to clean up it's files! Wednesday night.. at 11:37 PM, both my bride and I got alarm calls from CSU that there had been a robbery at Front Ave and 10th Street (and all you parents KNOW what we were thinking with a call at 11:37).. CSU had our numbers because 2 of our daughters were graduated from there... Of course, the last one was graduated MORE than 2 years ago...and since CSU wouldn't talk to us parents while our children were attending, why are they calling us NOW! Hey, CSU.. clean up your records.. we don't want to hear from your student safety alerts!

Looks like Buckhead in Atlanta is moving forward with it's "divorce" from Atlanta.. Buckhead leaders have initiated 2 bills to get their referendum on a ballot in 2022 so it can hire it's on law enforcement officers and build it's own court rooms and jail..

Online headline: "Pelosi punts question on unborn babies, says she's a 'big supporter of Roe v. Wade'" -- "a 'big supporter of Roe v. Wade"? Hmmm... too bad PeLOUSY's mother wasn't..
---
Online headline: "Chicago mayor declares racism a public health crisis" -- Good grief! Mayor Lightfoot-in-mouth throws a race card at anything she can't justify.. Earlier his month, she threw a deck of them at White journalists.. at least she wasn't sexist.. it didn't matter whether the White journalist were men or women.
---
Online headline: "Pelosi elevates AOC to new House committee on tackling economic disparities * Progressive firebrand Ocasio-Cortez will address generational disparities and increasing worker power" -- Good grief! If workers have had a good basic school education, then they have a grasp that to advance while working for another person, he first step is "to make themselves VALUABLE! Companies want to retain VALUABLE workers!

Online story: "All 50 of Portland police’s highly trained rapid response unit voted unanimously to resign on Wednesday during a union meeting in response to the recent indictment of Officer Corey Budworth for allegedly assaulting a photographer with his baton during as an overnight riot broke out last August." -- Hey, Columbus Council.. looks like 50 more qualified law enforcement officers are ready for recruitment!
---
From the "Elizabeth Barrett Browning, "Let me count the ways" department - Online headline: "CNN’s Chris Cuomo roasted after asking for examples of his bias as critics dig up multiple instances" -- Hmm...and "the ways" are still pouring in in Twitter!
---
Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman says the violence is not something that was “born overnight, but has rather festered over the years”. -- Hmmm.. wait a minute.. how many of those festering years has Countryman been a law enforcement officer? He's was on the designate Projects Homes police squad before he became Marshall and now Sheriff. Should he be on op of stopping crimes?
---
WTVM-TV9 story: " A crime prevention initiative is ready to move to the next step. $500,000 is being spent on the program that’s designed to stop crime before it happens. * Cure Violence Columbus is looking to begin an assessment on the Fountain City’s crime." -- Wait a minute.. does this mean the $800,000 a year existing Crime Prevention Commission will be terminated? Of course I'm somewhat concerned about the "Cure Violence Columbus" grasp on the issues.. the first time an assessment was issued, they put Buena Vista Road crimes in the Green Island area..

Online story: "It has been revealed that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, under Dr. Fauci, has directed over $400,000 towards funding a series of experiments that saw fit to transplant FETAL SKIN into mice in order to supposedly study how prone the human skin is to infections." -- Sounds like we're gonna get a new horror movie out of ths... "Dr Faucistein's Monster Rats"

What is it with liberals that they want transgenders to use the same public and school bathrooms as their God decided boys and girls.. All I can think is that they never had children of their own and never heard the hollering when a sister walked into a brother's bathroom (or vice versa).

What is it with states that want to allow out-of-state students to be able to vote in their state's elections just because they are attending college there? Yet, at the same time, those states will not let those same students to be considered in-state students and get the lower tuition rates.. Sounds like a form of fraud in my book.

Online headline/story: "Stacey Abrams says she supports Manchin's voting rights compromise * When asked about the voter ID provision, Abrams said, “That’s one of the fallacies of Republican talking points that have been deeply disturbing. No one has ever objected to having to prove who you are to vote. It’s been part of our nation’s history since the inception of voting. What has been problematic is the kind of restrictive IDs we’ve seen pop up" -- "the kind of restrictive IDs we’ve seen pop up"? Excuse me! How can any ID that doesn't contain a photo and is not government issued be considered any kind of proof of identity? Oh! Ask Stacey Abrams how she identified who was eligible to register to vote in GA during her "New GA Project"?
